i thought mccree would look really good with fangs and then
i started to imagine this cowboy as a vampire
then i started imagining witcher 3 lore of higher vampires tht can still walk in the sun.
then I imagined McCree sitting on a fence post at high noon and hanzo is a wandering traveler, and hanzo is lost so mcree invites him into his country farm home to rest and i imagine him staring at hanzo and bein able to smell how good his blood is and hes just like Holy Shit
i also imagine,,,what if,,newly turned vampires are the ones tht cant go in the sun and the older u get the more immune u are,,,and to be a High noon vampire is to be v respected cus ur old and can handle the heat and respect and skill/risk it takes 2 kill someone in the middle of the day.
Been working on the zine and a 3 part jinkook/ot7 comic today while sick and decided i needed a break from thinking about my AU. So instead, I drew someone else’s :’) OK SO LIKE I AM INLOVE WITH @ask-seokjinnie ‘s 1920s AU!!!!! All my stories when I was smol™ were all about this era so when I saw her au i was all heART emojis
Maybe criticisms of steven universe wouldn’t be so harsh if people didn’t treat it like a fucking godsend of representation and pull their heads out of their asses long enough to at least consider that maybe this show does have really big problems.
I’m not saying you have to make an su critical blog or talk about it’s problems 24/7, or even that you have to stop enjoying it, just fucking realize that it’s representation is borderline horrible and that they do bad things instead of praising them for it.
And stop acting like people criticizing the bad parts of your favourite show is the worst thing in the world.
⌦ characters: jungkook, an idol that gets jealous and insecure easily but in the cutest ways. y/n, the idol’s playful long distance girlfriend that also happens to be a heavy sleeper and his rock.
⌦ genre + plot: fluff, smut mention, angst. the long-distance couple stays in touch via daily facetime calls and the occasional visit, but even then they crave each other. the idol acts on those desires, but not without a few bumps.
If they were human, it wouldn’t really matter that much. Human rulers of empires have to worry about constantly gaining wealth and/or expanding because people need resources to survive and resources are finite and hard to come by.
Gems don’t need food. They don’t need shelter or clothing or water or places to defecate away from said water sources. They get everything they need from their Gems and produce no waste naturally.
So…the fuck to the Diamonds want? What’s their goal?
Yellow was pushing Blue to snap out of her grief and “be a leader”. Why? I get the whole ‘we need out subjects to obey’ thing. But like, if she doesn’t? Worst case scenario is that things stay the same. No one will starve. Gems barely seem to notice the passage of time.
The only reason I bring this up at all is because Peridot mentioned that Homeworld is running low on resources. This line has a lot of weight. If dominating shit was just Yellow Diamond’s hobby, it’d be all gucci. It’d what she does to get off for funsies. But this cycle of war/colonization/investment is fuckin up shit on her line. Yellow Diamond doesn’t seem like enough of a simp to risk an empire for a hobby and Blue Diamond doesn’t really seem to give a damn. So why are they doing it?
Are they just constantly defending against attack? Then why expand and have more shit to defend and risk running out of resources even faster? Are they eternally interested in advancing technologically? Most Gems don’t seem to be scientifically inclined so that doesn’t seem likely. Are they just keeping Gems busy so that they don’t realize that the Diamonds would be easy as all hell to kill and that their rigid caste system is in fact bullshit? Gems live for thousands of fucking years. They’d probably notice at some point that they like doing what the fuck they want, when the fuck they want to do it. Rose did. She wasn’t a genius or philosopher or anything, just a lady that liked flowers and dick and shit.
It literally couldn’t be “just cuz” as soon as Peridot mentioned dwindling finite resources, so they’ve gotta have a goal here.
No, this isn’t really a problem. Yes, I think we’ll get an answer at some point.
It doesn’t even actually matter what the reason is. It’s just a matter of needing to be there. I just find it odd that it hasn’t really been touched on at all in the show.
