Leonardo Dicaprio as “Phillipe” in : The Man in the Iron Mask.
Phillipe has never seen a full moon because he’s been locked up in prison for years. One day, the three Musqueteers (Athos, Porthos and Aramis) organise his escape and ask him to replace the very cruel king Louis XIV. Confused and lost, Phillipe cannot sleep one night. He notices the shutters and decide to open them. Suddenly, right in front of him, stands the moon, big and round and in it’s full shape. He doesn’t stop looking at it, for he is happy to finally be free.
Freedom is our most important value. Sorry for the sum-up but this scene is very special to me :) Very moving. A very good movie also starring John Malkovitch (Athos), Gérard Depardieu (Porthos), Jeremy Irons (Aramis) and Gabriel Byrne (d'Artagnan).
