one-life-to-lose

Goodbye.
It’s a word everyone says at some point in their life.
Sometimes you mean it, sometimes you don’t.
& most of the time it has more than one meaning.
Goodbye: I’ll see you later.
Goodbye: I’ll see you tomorrow.
Goodbye: I’ll see you soon.
Goodbye: I hope I’ll see you one day.
Goodbye: I hope we meet again.
Goodbye: I have to go because I’m hurting you.
Goodbye: I have to go because you’re hurting me.
Goodbye: I have to say it only because you’re giving me no choice.

You get to choose who you say hello to.
You can be polite & say it to a stranger.
You can say it to new people you meet & grown to love.
Before every goodbye there was a hello.
& you got to choose.
You got the opportunity to acknowledge that person into your life.

You know what you don’t always get to choose…
If they stay.
Their goodbye may not be your goodbye.
You may see no good in leaving them behind.
For a day, for a year, for forever.
You may want to hold onto that hello more than you want to hold onto the sound of their voice, or the smell of their hair or the color of their eyes.

It is a cruel word, goodbye.
Because for most, there just isn’t anything quite good about it.

I can’t believe this has to be reiterated in 2017 but being a lesbian…….is not a political statement lol. Lesbians aren’t making a political stance by being lesbians we are just being ourselves. There are lesbians (myself included) who’s views of the world are shaped by our sexualities but sexuality is not a political statement. I didn’t choose to be a lesbian I AM a lesbian. I am also a feminist, neither of which are because of one another. So when y'all go on witch hunts for lesbians because of a declaration of our boundaries, you’re not in any way, shape, or form being any different than the rest of our lesbophobic society. When you conflate our sexualities with political stances and views, you are being homophobic. Simply put…..leave us alone :-) and let us live! :)))

Sign up to represent Rainbow Direction at Harry Styles' Live On Tour

The WWA and OTRA tours as well as many of the promotional One Direction dates have been a very colourful success for Rainbow Direction and we could fill several books with the memories all of you made during your shows and beyond. Therefore, we felt it would be a great idea to keep the rainbows and pride colours coming while One Direction as a band is enjoying a well deserved hiatus. And after bringing the rainbows to Niall’s Jingle Ball shows last December, what would be more fitting than filling the venues of Harry’s Live On Tour shows with colours, pride and visibility?

Are you going to one of Harry’s Live On Tour shows? Want to bring your rainbows or pride colours with you and make your fellow LGBTQ+ Harry Styles and One Direction fans feel welcome and safe? Then you should represent Rainbow Direction for your show and do exactly that!
