Fallout 2 - warm up portraits.

Oh man, i really enjoyed this set. Not only one of my favorite games ever and forever, but also so many various face types in there, it was a real pleasure.

Added captions for those, since not all characters had their in-game portraits.

Cheers <3

PS.: I still remember all the feels i had during the talk with President Richardson. The moment when he talks about Vaults and FEV might be the exact moment i fell in love with video games. Thank You, Interplay <3

Pssst, Fictionkin:

Want to know what makes me happy?

Somewhere out there, my favorite fictional characters, especially the ones who’s lives weren’t what they wanted them to be, are getting another chance.

Maybe they’re shopping.

Maybe they’re watching silly youtube videos.

Maybe they’re laughing with friends, or playing a favorite game, or driving to work, or making dinner.

So wherever you are, fictionkin, whatever you’re doing, just know that you’re what everyone hoped for, a new chance for the character that they love!

Aw shit, I had a feeling I forgot to post these here.

Little known fact, before I was a devoted follower of the Church of Miyamoto, I was a Sega/Sony baby. And one of the first video games I ever played was, you guessed it, Crash Bandicoot. Despite my taste in games changing over the years, I still see the original trilogy as my favorite gaming series. Mainly because it felt like I was playing a cartoon. The good folks at Naughty Dog did a fantastic job in capturing the “Looney Tunes-esque” personality into both the character of Crash and in the games…

But when I saw the trailer for the N.Sane Trilogy, that pretty much confirmed what I wanted to get for X-mas. So with that being said, here’s my tribute to the gaming world’s favorite marsupial.

And Ripper Roo is one of my favorite video game boss designs.

Hi guys! This is a pic I did as for @Toshinden-Club week challenges, this one is about Ellis, one of the girls of the game. Well, Toshinden one of the games I love most. Why? because it was the first game I had for Playstation, it was the most impressive game I ever saw, the OST is (along the second and the third game) still my favorite of all time, the characters was awsome, the innovative gameplay… but over all because, because I had so good memories of my school years playing with my friends and my brother Francisco. We played everyday, Ellis was one of my favorites to play since she was really fast (and cheap XD) I still can hear her victory speech: “I never give up!”. Sadly looks like Toshinden was forgotten and just a few remember this awesome game (not on PSN :( ) … Funny thing is that this is the first time I draw something related to toshinden XD
I hope you like it.

Dedicado a ti Francisco por todas las horas que compatirmos jugando de crios ;)

(Reposting AGAIN because Tumblr wasn’t showing my post in the tag search AGAIN and I’m seeing if this will work. Thanks Tumblr you suck! >_>)

So it’s been a year since the start of Jacksepticeye’s Undertale series and I wanted to talk about what this series meant to me.

Honestly I think this is the best series Sean has ever done, period. He had great commentary that showed the kind of person that he is in these videos, they were long videos, he made up his own voices for all the characters and he had so much fun with this game and got so incredibly into it too. Plus seeing him experience and cry over the ending of a game that’s become one of his now favorite games ever for the first time was very nice to see. :)
This series for me is tied as my favorite from Sean next to his Shadow Of The Colossus series. But this series unintentionally helped me realize one of the biggest life lessons Sean has ever taught me in the whole time I’ve known/watched him that I really needed to learn and still trying to learn. Which is appreciating and making the most out of the good things in life you have. At the time the 2nd part of this series came out, that was when my family and I were really struggling and I was letting the negativity, stress and pessimism from my parents get to me. I was focusing on EVERYTHING that was wrong in my life and treating myself like garbage because of it instead of remembering the good things that I do have. Then when I watched the 2nd video of this series and got to Sean reading this line in the game and saying this. It was surprisingly exactly what I needed to hear. At first I extremely disagreed with him on this because I thought he was saying that you weren’t allowed to be upset about your problems and suck it up and deal with it cause life will just always suck which wasn’t the case at all and I shouldn’t have assumed that. He was saying that there’s no point in making yourself miserable over the negative things in your life that you can’t change. Some negative things in life are absolutely out of your control and that’s unfortunately just a part of life. But instead of focusing on those bad things all the time you can instead appreciate the positive things you DO have even if they’re just little things. You can change your attitude towards how you look at your situation instead of forcing yourself to just drown in the negativity. To me this takes a lot strength to do and is definitely not easy. I’m still trying to learn how to do this even today. But making the most out of a bad situation is worth it because it helps you grow and learn how to be stronger when situations like this happen in the future. Plus when you go back to positive happy times in your life you appreciate all of that so much more. :) Seeing the light in a dark situation is not easy to do and for some people it takes great emotional strength and optimism to do. That’s something I really admire about Sean is that he can do that even when he’s not feeling positive.
This has really help me learn how to look at life and how to be more positive towards it which is honestly is something I personally needed because my optimism and seeing the best out of things is huge part of who I am and I lost that piece of myself for a while. Remembering this really helps me appreciate that I discovered Sean in the first place because this is one of the biggest things he’s taught me. He’s taught me so much just by being who he is and me seeing so much of myself in him and somehow finding self love and my positivity again though that. I can’t even tell you guys how much that’s literally meant the world to me. :’) Even if I don’t actually know Sean and might never really know him at the end of the day, I appreciate that he’s here and is a part of my life. I consider him a friend that means so much to me because he’s taught me things that got through to me and hit my core in a time where literally nothing was. I could never forget everything that he’s helped me learn for myself in this whole time I’ve known he’s existed. I’ll carry all of those things with me throughout my life whether I’m going through positive or negative times. :)

I appreciate this loud stupid green haired potato god dammit! xD

I hope this doesn’t come off as me trying to make Sean sound greater then how he actually is. He might have impacted my life but he’s still a person like we all are and I don’t think he’s always positive towards everything all the time. But this is just what him and this series has taught me and I wanted to share it with you guys because this tweet made me think of that. :)

Another fan doodle.
She’s probably one of the most non-uni dimensional secondary character I have ever seen in a video game: a very strong and righteous personality with yet an ability to question her own ways. I think she might even be one of my favorite characters from Dragon Age Inquisition in fact (I also like Varric’s sarcasm).

What do you like about edward?

His fashion sense

Just kidding. Now, what DO I like about Edward? He’s always been one of my favorite characters, ever since I got back into Batman about 2 years ago (holy moly this is the longest I’ve kept my blog as one topic). To start off his determination and endurance is one thing. If he wants an answer, he’s going to get that answer, even if he gets beaten to a pulp in the process. We’ve seen it time and time again in comics and in the video games - he rarely gives up and he always devises new ways to get what he wants. As someone who doesn’t always throw 100% of herself into her work, that’s p neat. Which leads to the second thing - he’s dedicated to what he does. I mean he even wore a spandex suit with question marks lets be real here. He can produce riddle after riddle even when ridiculed and even with the knowledge that he’s probably gonna lose anyway. He still does it, and staying true to your beliefs (/aesthetic) is a neato thing too. His confidence and attitude, even if it is annoyingly egotistical, is another thing. As someone who really isn’t that confident in herself, I admire people with this trait because it’s what I strive to have - with less of the ego tho. Finally, he’s just an interesting character. He has a complex personality and a complex backstory, and reading him in comics always promises some sort of plot twist and entertainment. Yeah he’s a bad guy, and yeah he’s done some things in comics that have made me hate his character a few times, but there are some aspects of him that are interesting and make me enjoy his character.

But the fasion sense is definitely up there.

The soundtrack, or “sound selection” they call it, for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is by far one of my favorite video game soundtracks EVER!!!!!!!!

Favorite song? Kass’s Theme.
This song is my favorite for multiple reasons!!! 1) Kass is now my favorite character in the whole freaking game! 2) Whenever I listen to this song, it cheers me up and makes others wonder “what’s he listening to?” which is great! If they want to hear this accordion play, they can!

I don’t want to do a review kind of thing. Just letting you guys know about the soundtrack *cough* sound selection. Teehee~

Harvey Beaks is premiering this weekend

Following the Kid’s Choice Awards on Saturday, March 28th there will be a Harvey Beaks sneak peak! Then on Sunday, March 29th at 7:00pm the first episode I ever boarded, “The Spitting Tree”, will premiere!

I am so so so so SO SO SO excited! I boarded this episode with the talented Brandon B., and I remember going through our episode outline together and thinking “this show is so special”. It really is! And it’s so unreal to see it all finished and about to air on real live television! You guys are gonna love it.

(P.S. I put in a little cameo of one of my favorite video game characters–can you catch it?)

Phi from “Zero Escape 2: Virtue’s Last Reward”

This is a character from a more obscure game, I doubt anyone here has heard of it. It’s one of the most engrossing experiences I ever felt while playing a video game, but get this. It was supposed to be part of a trilogy, but the games never sold well enough and it seemed like #3 was never going to happen. But they just announced it recently at Anime Expo! So of course I had to draw my favorite character to celebrate! She’s a highly intelligent and brave young lady, I recommend checking out the game just to see her in action!

Ugh I love Pearl so much

She’s an uptight overprotective birdmom who loves to teach Steven things and spends half her time being frustrated with Amethyst and gets genuinely upset when Steven tries to make a pun about butter because she doesn’t understand why he’s saying she did something she didn’t and she blushes when Steven complements her and she hides behind Garnet when something upsets her and she refuses to drive improperly in video games and she thinks really highly of herself but she also is really jacked up and horribly vulnerable about sensitive subjects and she laughs waaay too much about jokes she finds funny and when she’s supposed to be making noise while watching fireworks she just gently taps a wood spoon on a glass baking dish and blushes while asking how her volume is and I’m just ????

She’s just so sweet and obnoxious and loving and quiet and safe and emotional and flawed and is a bird and just everything she does makes me happy (aside from when I’m bawling my eyes out over Roses’s Scabbard but that also makes me happy, you know in the way where you’re upset and crying but like the good kind of upset and crying)

Some sketches of Sans, obviously. Trying to figure out how to draw him and I’m quite happy this far, but I might try some other ways as well. I have only played through the game through the True Pacifist route once but this guy quickly rose to one of my all-time favorite game characters. Funny, since I’m scared of skeletons. Though what’s not to love about a small, big-boned,  punny skeleton named after a font?

I don’t think I could ever play a Genocide route in this game. Just watched a video about the fight against Sans and it broke my heart to see him like that.

…. Plus his battle seems way to difficult for me anyway. ^^;

Screenshots from GLITCHY GIRLFRIEND | Vee Is Calling! :)

This was a nice little game where you basically go on a date with a computer named Vee who’s also is trying to take over your computer. xD
I was super happy Jack said she was like Giffanny from Gravity Falls because that’s actually one of my top favorite episodes of Gravity Falls ever. :)

But he is right though Vee kind of is like Giffanny. xD

Actually it’s kind of weird that the character in this game is named Vee. This is probably going to sound stupid but the reason why it’s weird to me is because my first name starts with the letter V. So it’s kind of like hearing the start of my name, if that makes any sense? Even though nobody has ever called me V before it’s still kind of weird for me. Jack has said my name in a video before so I have no idea why just hearing him say V is weird for me. I guess I’m just being dumb about that but whatever it’s not a big deal. xD

In this part of the game Nathan Drake with his grappling hook

♫SWWWWWWIINNNNNNGGED FROM A CHANDELIEEEEEEEEERRRRR!! A CHANDELIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRR!!!♫

I’m actually surprised Jack didn’t sing that in the video in all honesty. xD

Screenshots THE LIE EXPOSED | Uncharted 4 Part 7! :D

Okay speaking 100% seriously right now I think this is turning into one of my favorite series from Jack. :) This game is fantastic with the story and the characters so far and extremely beautiful to look at too. It’s fun watching Jack play this game too because you can tell he’s having a lot of fun playing it. One of the reasons why Undertale and Shadow Of The Colossus are tied for my favorite series he’s ever done is because he loved those games and always seem liked he was happy to play those games in almost every single video and it brought a new kind of energy to those series in my opinion. :D Plus one of my favorite things about this series for some weird reason is when he gushes over the visuals of this game and talks a tiny bit about how hard it actually is to make a game look this nice and looking at the tiny details the developers put in this game and honestly it’s made me realize how when Jack gushes over any game he plays in general it makes me appreciate those games a lot more. Plus I’m usually gushing over the visuals myself too because I’m equally as nerdy as he is when it comes to video games. xD

What can I say? I LOVE VIDEO GAMES! BE STILL MY GEEKY HEART! <3 xD

But anyway yeah I love this series and I’m really looking forward to and extremely excited to see what’s going to happen next in this game. :D
