Hi, my name is KJ, I’m 15, and I’m from Illinois, USA!! I live in a really small town that’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, but that’s kind of the story from most Midwesterners. I’m really looking for some friends that I can snapchat or text to keep from the boredom of summer vacation.
I’m into lots of stuff but one of my biggest interests is music. My favorite band of all time is Metallica (who I’ll be seeing on June 18th!!), and I like lots of other metal bands too, like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Megadeth, and lots more. I also listen to a lot of older alternative and grunge stuff, like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Weezer, Alice In Chains, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden and others. I’m also a bit of a sucker for 90s pop, like the Spice Girls and BSB.
I also watch lots of shows, but some of my favorites are Rick and Morty, Master of None, Parks and Rec, That 70s Show, Bob’s Burgers, Sherlock, and Stranger Things. I watch anime too, and a few of my favorites are Yuri On Ice, One Punch Man, and Fairy Tail, which I just recently started.
Some other random stuff about me is that I play the trumpet and am definitely a band geek, I do scholastic bowl, I collect records, I’m obsessed with pretty much all dogs that I see, I am a huge night owl, and I have a weird sense of humor. I also really like reading and writing, and my current favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut. I’m also very obsessed with horror movies.
So, ideally you will be 14-17 years old, and that’s about it. As long as you aren’t sexist, racist, homophobic, etc. we will get along just fine. I also speak English fluently, and just a tiny bit of Spanish. If you identify with any of the things I listed above, feel free to hit me up!
ooh, wow, i have a lot of great memories there. I went with one of my friends once, and seeing her reactions to everything was so fun. We also got to go to the PokePark once, which was really frickin’ cool. I don’t remember it much though, I was only like 6 when we went. i got to spend my birthday there a lot, because we used to go in summer (my birthday is this month!). Japan is just jam-packed with memories, and I really love it there.
Infinite has sucked me into their fandom as soon as Come Back Again came out but I only picked a bias when She's Back came cause Woohyun's high note made me fall for him even up to this day (´∀｀)♡ ((I do love that boy even if I want to hit him sometimes for being too cheesy haha))
OH MAN. The She’s Back high note is a killer for me. Woohyun slays them high notes, but my favorite one is from the In The Summer II acoustic jam sesh when they do Man In Love and he does his thing and it kills me. ((I also wanna throw a mean punch when he gets so fricking cheesy omg))
currently it’s been a good ol mix of come back again and the chaser as for the reason why people started liking infinite.
my dad laughed at infinite on their debut mv bc of their ugly hair. so im glad a lot of people appreciate this era
This record is what’s up. GZA, aka The Genius of the notorious Wu Tang Clan, released this way back in the early 90’s. Just got it on vinyl, because it’s basically my favorite hip-hop record of all time.
I can only imagine when this was released back in the day that it was extremely cutting edge. It still bangs hard. The first song alone leaves you struck with it’s heavy beat and GZA’s lyrical assault over it. The rest of the record will keep your attention and keep blowing your mind as it goes.
If you dig hip-hop at all, make sure to jam this. I know Joey Bada$$ sampled one of the tracks on his Summer Knights mixtape. This record will forever be relevant to hip-hop culture.

Wow. I'm reading some of the comments people have for the new song and they're making me really upset. Saying you're done with Maroon 5 just because they released a song like 'TSGH'? Saying how disappointed you are with the title of the song and how stupid the lyrics are? And saying how disappointed you are because the guys sing 'fucker' in the song?
Some even said that they’ve lost respect for the band. Are you even a fan at all? Do you know how many times they’ve said ‘fuck’ in their songs? How is this any different? It’s a LYRIC. Get over it. And for those of you bashing Behati saying she’s become a bad influence on Adam because of the ‘crap music’ (not my words) him and his band are making? Screw you. The point of this song was to have no meaning. For it to be a summer song everyone can jam and have fun to. If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all. I know you’re all entitled to your own opinions, but this is just way too much. Just be happy that our favorite band is still making music for us. You don’t have to like it, but don’t lose respect for them just because one song. Do you know how stupid that is? JFC.
Here it is, the first installment of our T.E.A. Newbie Spotlight! The plan is to feature 4 blogs at a time to celebrate the stories and artwork of these wonderful Rumbellers. Look for a post every Friday beginning today—with 36 on the list, that’s 9 posts over 9 weeks. We’re going in reverse alphabetical order. (Yeah, I’m such a rebel!)
Check out this week’s newbies: @wizzygold: Joined the Rumbelle Tumblr fandom in September 2015 and is one of my favorite bloggers to chat with. Her chipped bug is awesome. In fanfic, take a look at Promises, a sweetly supernatural floof family AU in which a ghost haunts the Dark Castle. Then read The Great Composer, where Belle awakens in a castle with no recollection of how she got there. The only other inhabitant is amnesiac man with strange skin who plays the piano beautifully. Bookmarked!
@witchnova221: A darling treasure with a wonderful sense of humor. Nova started writing her beautiful Rumbelle fic in October 2015. Among her fanfics, check out 2016 TEA Nominee In the Arms of an Angel, a fabulous Doctor Who Crossover. I don’t even watch Doctor Who and I adore this Rumbelle tale of time travel, love, and intrigue. Also try Absolute Beginners, in which Rumple and Belle’s perfect day goes to hell in a picnic basket. I love this story.
@wierdogal: (That’s i before e in wierdo). A little sweetheart who rips my heart to shreds with weepy Papafire headcanons. She’s also a fan of adventure writing. Read Storybrooke Times: the media vs. businessman and political hopeful Zozo Greene. Sr. News Editor Adam Gold and Arts Section Head Belle French would rather investigate each other than the stories. Regina is Editor-In-Chief! There’s also OUAT James Bond Style, a series of one-shot adventures featuring 007 Agent Rumford Gold.
@veronicaleighbooks: One of my favorite writers and among the sweetest people I know, Veronica started hanging with Rumbellers in Summer 2015. Read her lovely Regency AU and 2016 T.E.A. nominee Dark Night of the Soul. In this classic BatB retelling, Belle learns her father is in danger of losing her childhood home to the beastly Mr. Gold and is faced with a choice that will change her life forever. If first date fluff is your jam, try First Date with Forever, a blind date story that will kill you with cute.
That’s it for Round 1! Please enjoy and share with your followers and friends. You’re not doing it for me; you’re doing it for the people featured above.
Please Note: I am human. If you are on the T.E.A. Newbie Spotlight List and I make a mistake, do not say: “Marie hates me/ignored me.” NO. Nothing could be further from the truth. Message me and I will make it right.
Andrew Doheny lives in the summer fun epicenter of the surf world, Newport Beach. When not slashing peaks at 54th St. on a variety of self-shaped surfcraft, he can be found smashing the six-string in his garage turned jam space. Andrew, AKA, Droid, rules summer, and here’s a look at some of the tools he has in his fun-shed.
