We used to have a neighbor who used to live downstairs from us. She was really cool and she was really close with my mom. She had two sons and my brother and I used to play with them.
One night she went out. My mom was watching the boys. They were downstairs with my brother and my mom was upstairs with me.
She never came home because she was shot and killed.
I think the night or second night after she was killed, my brother didn’t want to stay at the house. Mind you, I was only like maybe…. 13 and my brother was 11. My brother was terrified and he didnt want to stay home so we all just went to stay at my grandmas.
That… was the best decision we made because someone broke into our apartment and our neighbors. (Our apartments are connected by one flight of stairs like… were right on top of each other)
Yeah my mom had went back home the next day to get some clothes and she found both apartments broken in and our radio was turned up extremely loud… and we KNEW that whoever broke on did that on purpose cause they were planning on shooting someone. We thought they were looking for her sons.
But that happened and we stayed like a week at my grandmas. I remember, this happened around spring break so my brother and I were home from school that week
But after that my bro and I go back to school and stuff but my brother ended up getting night terrors and he ended up being admitted to a hospital.
It was… a really traumatic experience for us, especially my brother who was with the boys…..
Ugh… just remembering this makes my heart heavy. I was young but I remember Kendra being a very beautiful and wonderful woman
I don’t know if I can express how much I love Andy and Mica’s relationship. She just shot him with 3 separate paintball guns and then again with the fast one because it got jammed and he not once bitched about it, in fact he had her start over because he wanted it to look good. Like yeah they talked about it hours ago, but still, that’s serious friendship and trust. And he got more worried about her getting paint on her outfit than how much pain he was in.
