A continuation of the Urinetown au from like a month ago
This may end up really long so watch out
A bit of BACKGROUND INFO:
There’s been a drought for the past twenty years. Private toilets are illegal, and there is a fee on the public ones. Anyone who avoids the fee is sent to Urinetown, which is kind of a mythical place, a bad one. It’s full of symbolism and things like that. Actually, it’s not even a real place, anyone who is sent to Urinetown is just thrown off of the roof of the headquarters of the private company that controls the public restrooms, Urine Good Company, or the UGC for short. The UGC is controlled by Gabriel Agreste, so is all the water. He is extremely overprotective of his motherless son, Adrien, barely allowing him to leave the house until he starts working as a fax/copy boy for his father.
I was the one to reach out to you. I tried to fix what you broke. I tried to give you one more chance. After months of waiting, I still haven’t gotten a response. I wish you would have wanted to talk things out, or at the very least screamed at me, told me it was my fault, spewed hatred at me, or called me stupid for even trying to fix this. At least then, I would have had closure. At least then, I could go to sleep every night thinking, “It wouldn’t have worked out.” But, instead, I got nothing. Just an empty chasm of nothingness. I wish, more than anything, you would’ve just called me back and barraged me with your ballads of hatred, because your silence is so much louder.
