I bet the animation for the BSD movie is going to be so glorious, just remembering the way they did palettes and lighting in the show and esp how they physicalized the ability attacks……….I owe studio bones my life probably
Since screen time is often linked to a character’s importance to a story, it wouldn’t be incorrect to say that Johansson’s Black Widow is the third most important character of the Avengers franchise, behind two characters who have each already racked up three films of their own. She’s by far the most featured character out of the remaining original Avengers — Hawkeye and Hulk — who have yet to get their own movies. In Age of Ultron, filmgoers even got to see a bit more of her traumatic past, which would clearly make for a great origin movie.
Marvel needs to treat Johansson as if she’s an important piece of their record-breaking cinematic universe. Not by teasing that one day, in the future, after the studio is done making nine other movies, Black Widow will get her own film, as Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has done time and time again, but by actually pulling out a contract, signing it, and just, well, doing it. Black Widow has a story to tell, and Johansson should get a chance to tell it on the big screen sooner rather than later. I’d definitely pay to see that — and judging by the numbers, I’m not the only one.
“In a world… dominated by gender inequality and unfair pay, one Hollywood studio has done the unthinkable and made a movie – for women.” That’s how a new trailer for a parody film called “Hollywood Solves Sexism” begins.
…kay but like this isn’t funny anymore and I’m starting to actually, actually, actually get mad.
the fact that they have legit been taking out every single potentially not 100% straight, hetero scenes, whether it be a joke or reality, is mind blowing. it’s so damn obvious what the studio is trying to do.
not just that, but the fact that they replace scenes with mitsuba/yoichi with shinoa is really, really annoying. it’s like they are trying to make it seem that shinoa/yuu actually has some damn development, which they have not had in the manga so far, and they’re doing it because of that huge mikayuu episode that is coming up.
man, i don’t know what else they’re going to do, but it’s really butchering shinoa’s character. i don’t hate her, i really don’t. i really like her character, i think she’s super amazing and strong and the her sass is always on level 100 and she will not stop at teasing people, it’s just awesome okay
but in the anime?? nonoononono there isn’t any of that in the anime’s second season. it’s just “yuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-sanyuu-san“ and it’s starting to piss me off
using great female characters as a male-protagonist fanatic is pissing me off. only keeping hetero scenes and then making extra ones is pissing me off. ripping characters from scenes to add said male-protagonist female fanatic is pissing me off. not doing your damn job, wit studio, is pissing me off.
Melody is the only character who is not in the first book (not born yet). Jasper is the only character who is not in the second book (died of old age). All drawings are pencil sketches with a single marker. Melody is also the only one drawn with a ProMarker. The other two are done with Studio Series. I’ve taken a liking to this.
