also lots of people just really hate mark and moff now and they’ve made choices i wouldn’t have made but i still think they’re great storytellers who are doing something innovative and special with a centuries old story they care about immensely and i trust they have something important to say. (“centuries old. don’t break that.”) even more controversial is that i think it’s kind of amazing and valuable and a once-in-a-lifetime childhood dream to have a rapport like this with the creators of my favorite story. i think there’s teasing and antagonism on both sides, and i expect that; we’re obsessed with their content, THEIR content, for better or for worse. but they were nerds too, they were SHERLOCK HOLMES nerds, and when it comes down to brass tacks they love us because we are a fanbase dream come true. they tease us BECAUSE they love us and i don’t think they had any idea that the story they’re writing could have such negative ramifications for some people. i think in the end they still want to tell a story about love conquering all, about how who you really are matters over what you do for the world. i don’t want to try and justify their behavior for people that hate them now but this is how *I* feel, no matter how much i hate series four i feel honored to be a part of this and if i ever got to talk to them i would slap them across the face and then hug them and sob into their chests for 3 hours
That's comforting. So you think that it's just not quite the right time yet? I could understand not saying it given how much Daryl has gone through especially, there's probably a lot of fear. But I don't need to give up hope on Caryl? I'm not stupid for thinking they are in love?
