Seth MacFarlane celebrated his 40th birthday with a big, star-studded bash.

The Family Guy creator headed to UCLA’s Royce Hall for the occasion Friday night, where guests were treated to an orchesta performance –and a performance from MacFarlane himself–before heading to a reception in a large tent outside.

Mcfarlane sang two of the 17 songs that the John Wilson Orchestra performed that night, crooning “Singin’ in the Rain” and joining back in with the orchestra for their final song.

Celeb pals like Charlize Theron, Olivia Wilde and her fiancé Jason SudeikisNigel Lythgoe, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, Larry King and Kristin Chenoweth were all there to cheer him on.

Chenoweth even stood up and gave him a standing ovation multiple times, following his performances.

Joe Jonas and his girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler were in attendance at the reception, munching on bites from the Katsuya sushi buffet and another Asian food buffet.

VEUVE CLICQUOT POLO CLASSIC

Fashionable and a family affair. Famed polo player and Ralph Lauren model Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras and wife Delfina Blaquier brought all four children, including 8-month-old Alba and 13-year-old Hilario, who played in the match alongside his father for the first time.

Co-hosts Rachel Zoe, pregnant with baby No. 2, and husband Rodger Berman showed up with 2-year-old son Skyler. All three donned hats, the quintessential accessory for any haute horse event. Before the match, actor Owen Wilson checked out the horses with his son, Ford, while model Alessandra Ambrosio toted her children, Noah and Anja.

The Champagne picnic attracted couples, who made it a date: Dianna Agron of “Glee” with boyfriend Nick Mathers, Lauren Conrad and boyfriend William Tell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson of “Modern Family” and husband Justin Mikita, and Kathy Cuoco of “Big Bang Theory,” who was spotted kissing fiancé Ryan Sweeting. Also in attendance were actresses Minnie Driver, Mandy Moore, Aimee Garcia, Ahna O’Reilly, Jessica Lowndes and Ashley Madekwe.

THE SPECTACULAR NOW PREMIERE

The Spectacular Now premiered last night in Los Angeles. Costars Shaliene Woodley, and Miles Teller looked stellar while walking the red carpet. UNTIL, snap, Shailene’s heel broke and she was forced to spend the rest of the night barefoot. But she didn’t seem to mind one bit. Shailene exclaimed, “I’m so freaking stoked, now I have to go barefoot … You witnessed it.” I love how chill she is!

Following the screening Shai, Miles, and the rest of “The Spectacular Now” cast celebrated the last day of their press tour at Rockwell bar in Los Feliz, California.

TNT'S 25TH ANNIVERSARY

The stars, and myself, came out last night for TNT’s 25th Anniversary Party celebration held poolside at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Heather Locklear (who still has it for 51 - might I add), Angie Harmon, Noah Wyle, the cast of “Dallas” and more walk the red carpet for TNT’s 25th Anniversary Party in Beverly Hills

Conan O'Brien was on fire, showing off his quick wit and flirting with fellow celebs, even giving Lorraine Bracco his signature “meow" move and talking at length with Angie Harmon. He also praised the talent of his protege, Pete Holmes, who will follow the "Conan” show starting in late October. Holmes himself couldn’t have been more charming.

Side note: Have you ever noticed that TNT has a lot of shows, popular shows, with ampersands in the title. “Franklin & Bash.” “Rizzoli & Isles.” Newcomer “King & Maxwell.”

It was a family affair at the Smurfs 2 premiere in LA on July 28th. Britney Spears walked the blue carpet with her two sons, Neil Patrick Harris walked with David Burtka and their kids, while Katy Perry brought her 92 year old grandma! All so precious!

ENDER'S GAME PREMIERE

They are both highly successful teen stars. But Hailee Steinfeld and Abigail Breslin couldn’t have looked more different at the premiere of their new film Ender’s Game.

Hailee, 17, was playful in a white top that featured glittering red lips, while 16-year-old Abigail looked older than her years in a sophisticated long black gown in Hollywood on Monday night.

Sir Ben Kingsley and Viola Davis - who both star in the film - were also at the event.

Ender’s Game is the latest teen book-to-film adaption which follows an out-of-the ordinary child who 70 years after a horrific alien war, is sent to an advanced military school in space to prepare for a future invasion from an advance alien race called Buggers

The stellar cast even includes Harrison Ford, who attended last night as well.

TEEN VOGUE YOUNG HOLLYWOOD

No driver’s license? No problem. Teen Vogue chauffeured Hollywood’s stars-in-the-making via shuttle bus to a private home in the hills above Los Angeles on Friday night to celebrate its annual Young Hollywood issue, sponsored by Emporio Armani. The night was full of teen-y amusements including a sunglass bar, a photo booth, a performance by Wild Belle and tunes spun by brother and sister duo Wardell.

Hailee Steinfeld, Victoria Justice, Kiernan Shipka, and Holland Roden all chose to wear Emporio Armani, one of the party’s sponsors, though in totally varied ways. Hailee wore a high-collared, black dress, but managed to fit in a print (see: ASOS Magazine spread/the reason we’re broke) via a plaid shirt that she tied around her waist. That’s definitely one way to dress down Armani. She also debuted some new bangs, that are perfectly piece-y add a little bit of edgy teen style to her look. It’s def working for her.

Other guests included past and present Teen Vogue subjects Avan Jogia, Morgan Saylor, Joey King, Kiernan Shipka, Nick Robinson, Mackenzie Davis, Jacob Artist, Shenae Grimes (who once interned at the magazine), Victoria Justice and Hannah Bronfman.

The party closed around 11:00 with a performance from Natalia Kills that had everyone dancing to her new single “Problem.”

QUEEN BEY CONCERT & AFTER PARTY

Last night Pepsi gave me Beyonce at the Staples center downtown and she was AH-MAY-ZING! Naturally. I also got the pleasure of meeting her and she was the nicest, most down to earth woman ever. THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER'S 100 MOST POWERFUL FEMALES IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY

Every year the Hollywood Reporter recognizes the 100 most powerful females in the entertainment industry, and this morning (December 11) a bunch of beautiful ladies showed up for the shindig at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

For the fourth year in a row, Disney’s Anne Sweeney has been named the most powerful woman in entertainment by The Hollywood Reporter.

Sweeney is the co-chairman of the Disney Media Network and president of the Disney/ABC Television Group, which ABC News is a part of. She tops the publication’s annual list of 100 most powerful women in the industry.

“Twilight” babe Nikki Reed hammed it up with “Skyscraper” songstress Demi Lovato on the red carpet before heading inside for the exclusive event.

Also in the house were wonderful women like Candice Accola, Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Naya Rivera.

This year, Oprah Winfrey was presented with the 2013 Sherry Lansing Leadership Award for her prolific work both on and off the screen.

FROZEN PREMIERE

It may have been a toasty 90 degrees just last week in Los Angeles, but at Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Hollywood premiere for Frozen, winter arrived a bit early.

Featuring the voices of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad and Santino Fontana, the animated film follows a girl named Anna (Bell) as she journeys through a winter wonderland to find her kidnapped sister and free her kingdom from eternal winter.

The premiere at the El Capitan Theatre on Tuesday featured a snow-coated white carpet, a castle half buried in fluffy white “snow” and an ice sculpture of the snowman Olaf – a character voiced by Gad in the movie.

HOLLYWOOD FILM AWARDS

The 17th Hollywood Film Awards, the first awards show of the 2013 film awards season, took place on Monday night at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

The recipients of the Hollywood Film Awards are determined by founder and executive director Carlos de Abreu and an advisory committee. Thanks to the disclosure of this year’s recipients in the weeks leading up to the gala ceremony, every big-name honoree showed up – among them Matthew McConaughey, Sandra Bullock, Jake Gyllenhaal, Julia Roberts and Harrison Ford – and many came with famous friends – such as Robert Downey Jr., Jane Fonda and Sean Penn – to present them with their awards. And some arguably advanced their case for even bigger awards to come by making the most of their moment on the red carpet and at the podium in front of a huge industry crowd.

BAGGAGE CLAIM PREMIERE

The Los Angeles launch of the highly-anticipated film Baggage Claim, starring Paula Patton, Derek Luke and Taye Diggs, brought some of the most memorable acts to the red carpet to celebrate their friends and peers.

But rather than bring along a gang of pals or a significant other, La La Anthony and Trey Songz both had the same idea when they invited their families to accompany them on the red carpet. La La brought Papa Vasquez along for the premiere of her movie, while Trey Songz (who normally brings his mom on his arm) brought his young grandma as his date!

ALSO, who can blame Robin Thicke for wanting to plant a wet one on his wife?!

After all, Paula Patton looked simply stunning at the Hollywood premiere of her new movie, Baggage Claim.

Decked out in a semi-sheer form-fitting black number, the 37-year-old actress was all smiles as Thicke cozied up to her on the red carpet.

The film premiered at LA Live! With the after party at the Conga Room.
