Papa!Fenris carrying a giggly, dirty little one-and-a-half year old girl in one arm, who keeps cupping his face in her teeny itty bitty soft baby hands, peppering too-wet kisses wherever she can reach; his brows, his cheeks, his chin, the corner of his mouth, all the while saying, over and over, “I LOVE YOU, Papa! I love you! Love you, love you!!” And Fenris trying to be stern, like, “No, you can’t get out of a bath, don’t even try,” but he can’t hold back the smile that stretches across his face.
Their middle child being a little boy who is Fenris’ carbon copy, down to the perpetual stormy expression and pouty little mouth. Except he has a lisp.
His oldest daughter being super sweet-tempered and gentle, closer to what he was like when he was a child out of all his children, according to his sister.
His son running over to Fenris one day with a flickering flame in his palm, a big excited smile on his face that extinguishes faster than the fire in his hand when he sees his father’s face (Fenris immediately apologizing and bringing his son into a tight hug, feeling wretched for the tears he can feel on his neck).
Fenris reacting better when his youngest daughter shows him how the flowers behind their house bloom under her palm, returning her bright happy grin with a weak one of his own. “It’s lovely, darling,” he says, and means it.
The pride he feels in his oldest daughter as he watches her spar with her uncle, handling her weapons fluidly and with ease the way he taught her.
Fenris singing softly to them when they wake up with a nightmare, rocking them gently in front of the fireplace.
A little girl standing on her tip-toes to pull back the hair that falls in his eyes while he reads, and he, in turn, giving out an absentminded, “Yes, thank you dear,” as he continues to read, leaning over so she has a better reach.
His son glaring down at the book in his lap, brows furrowed in concentration as Fenris patiently teaches him how to read.
Papa Fenris gives me life and is all I’ve been thinking about the past few days, omg.
