Cats go exactly where they want to and please don’t try to tell them otherwise. Last summer we met a cat named Bubba who prefers to spend his time hanging out at a nearby school. Today let’s meet another adventurous kitty with more commercial tastes. This handsome marmalade moggy is Olly Oliver. He’s six-years-old, lives in London, and his favorite place to visit is a branch of the Sainsbury’s grocery store in Brockley, south London.
The shop is located right next door to Olly’s home, so he likes to stroll over and wander the aisles, perch atop shelves (both high and low) to watch people shop, or sometimes just hang out right outside the entrance.
A store spokesperson said, “He lives in the house next door and he’s in here every day, all the time. He’s not allowed to be here, the staff like him, but he is a health and safety risk.”
Olly may not be allowed in the shop, but every time store security escorts him out, he simply saunters right back in. But when he does go home he likes to cuddle up with his brother, who appears to be more of a homebody compared to Olly.
