I looked down from the hotel balcony. We were 18 floors up, yet for the first time in my life, the height didn’t bother me. Charisma pulled me back into her arms and smiled. God, she was beautiful. How a woman like her could even think to be with a girl like me was more than I could have ever thought possible. I was hers, and she was mine. We were soulmates. She leaned in and brushed her lips against mine, sending shivers up my spine.
She chuckled and ran her fingers through my hair as my cheeks began to redden. She kept me close, though I wouldn’t dare go away. Her warm breath cascaded down my neck and shoulders and her soft touch set my body on fire. There was nothing she could do to make me want her even more, yet she didn’t take me. She kissed my neck then sighed, a lone tear falling down her face.
I straightened up then wrapped my arms around her, comforting the woman I loved. I hadn’t realized how much pain she was in or what caused her grief. Was I the problem? Did I upset her?
“Charisma?” I asked.
She raised her head from the crook of my neck and tried to smile, though she already knew that her pain had been broadcast. “Yes, Mills?”
I shook my head then kissed the tip of her nose. “I love you.”
“I wish that had always been true.”
And that’s a little snippet of the story that’s based around this drawing. This and two other drawings were commissioned to Oliko of deviantart. You are looking and Mills in one of her casual outfits. The next update will have Mills in her work outfit and part of the story where she’s wearing it. The final update will have a character from a different story in it. I hope you enjoy the story as much I love the drawing. Please comment on the drawing, and commission her if you can. She could really use the money.
