Yesterday I gave one of my dearest friends her first lessons in whiskey, which is one of my favourite things to do. Picked up a bottle Knob Creek Rye and some Bulleit Bourbon

I started her with some classic Rye and Bourbon cocktails: 

We also stocked her bar with the basics, some Angostura & Hella Bitters, Filthy Cherries, vermouth, Chartreuse, proper glasses, and some basic barware. It was a smashing success and whiskey has a new fan.
