Our Little Book Club- book for July

Hey Everyone!

It’s July ~time is passing and I don’t like it~ which means it’s time to start a new book with OLBC. The poll has ended and A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas came out victorious by a very large margin!!

So that’s what OLBC will be reading this month, which I am really excited about because I really REALLY loved Throne of Glass! I haven’t read the other two in the series yet, so I might read them and then read ACOTAR. I am also a little concerned as I have NO space for any more series on my bookshelf…

So if you would like to read ACOTAR with us this month then you can check out the book club here, everyone is welcome to join, and at any time!

If you don’t have a goodreads account then you can tag your reading progress under #our little book club or #olbc and check out some of the OLBC tumblr’s here

Happy Reading Everyone!

Hello Everyone!

Just a quick update I suppose, I hit 10,000 folowers today which is absolutely insane! I’d love to do a giveaway but I’m a skint university student so that might not be possible… I’ll think of some celebration to do instead!

Anyway, welcome those, old and new! I know my blog has been kind of inactive recently, I started university in September and it’s been a big change and a busy time! Anyway, I’m determined to get this blog back on it’s feet!

I also neglected my book club for four months FOUR MONTHS….. so I’m currently getting that back on track! I am going to change it up a bit, and hopefully get back to reading together in February.

If you are interested in joining the book club, you can do so here

Book club members with tumblrs are here so maybe you can make some new friends

I also have a page of book recommendations which I hope to expand and make better

I hope to have some new projects for this blog for the new year so let me know if you have any suggestions, I’d love them!

Our Little Book Club- February 2016

Hello everyone and happy February! So the poll is finished and the victor is…

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell!

“Half the time, Simon can’t even make his wand work, and the other half, he sets something on fire. His mentor’s avoiding him, his girlfriend broke up with him, and there’s a magic-eating monster running around wearing Simon’s face. Baz would be having a field day with all this, if he were here—it’s their last year at the Watford School of Magicks, and Simon’s infuriating nemesis didn’t even bother to show up.” - Goodreads

If you would like to read Carry On with us over the month of February, you can go over to the group’s page and join in! It’s as simple as that. We take a leisurely month to read a book together and share in the feels or frustrations.

If you’d like to post about your reading journey on tumblr, you can use #our little book club or #olbc and I will find you (in a non creepy way).

There is also a page for the groups tumblr’s here, so you can find people to share in your feels  :)

Happy Reading Everyone!

July 2015- Book Choices Poll!

So the poll for which book we’ll be reading in August is up on goodreads. (it’s late, I know! I’m sorry, this month has been a little odd for me, but the poll is up now and will finish on the 5th or sooner so that should give us plenty of time to read.)

The choices are:

  • Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
  • Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson
  • An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

Go vote here or if you don’t have goodreads but would like to join the book club, you can message me with your vote and I’ll add it at the end

Anyone can join the book club at any time! It is best to join on goodreads but if you don’t want to do that, you can search for posts using the tag #olbc or #our little book club and you can check out book club members blogs here

Happy reading everyone! :)
