For the record, sneaking around a dark house at night is much harder than they make it look in movies. It was after midnight when I had decided to try and look around. I had no way to know for sure if the doctor was asleep but I figured I would take my chances. It was easy enough getting back down the hallway and to the stairs but that was when the challenges started. The stairs were creaky and I had to take each on super slow. I breathed a sigh of relief when I got to the main level of the house but then I had to find my way to the basement laboratory. I bumped into a few things and nearly knocked over a lamp before I finally found the set of stairs that lead down there.
