liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike. let’s talk about their reactions here? because i 100% believe in my filthy trash bin of a heart that this episode was the point of no return for parker and eliot both, the point at which they both realised holy shit i am in way over my head.
look at those reactions. like, it’s not simple relief, it’s relief and *total fucking whelm*. and neither eliot nor parker has–allowed themselves, maybe, the relative luxury of just thinking about what someone means to them. because it’s always been a liability. for eliot, caring too much about people would just be something that someone could use against him; for parker, it’s what archie’s cautioned her against a million times: we don’t get involved.
and worse for both of them, really, is that they’re not–not too caught up in a job, not too wrapped up in their own reputations or…or things that could be forgivable, really. things that they could realise and chide themselves for and then pull back from, do better. no, instead they’re both of them way overinvested in another person, in a person who could be hurt, who could be taken from them because they weren’t good enough or fast enough or–or just because sometimes you lose.
parker and eliot have always been aware of when they should cut their losses and get out. but this–this isn’t an acceptable loss. maybe neither of them can say the word love just yet, even to themselves, but this is where they realise it.
hardison doesn’t die, but he comes back to life anyhow, and when he does, the whole world changes.
It’s exciting that George Martin is still writing the books, you know. That we don’t know what’s gonna happen. That’s very exciting for the audience, for the people making it, for the actors. It does affect what you’re doing in that you can’t really play the endgame because you don’t really know what it is.
Requests: Anon 1: Number 4 with jughead please! Anon: Numbers 4, 14, and 18 for juggie jones from the prompt list please?
@samiloves2sing: Could you please do a 1 and 4 with Jughead from Riverdale that ends up with y/n and Jughead being together cause they both have crushes on each other 1. “You’re the only thing left that is important to me now.”
4. “You don’t get to touch her! Not anymore. Not after what you did!”
14. “I promise that I’ll protect you.”
18. “I think you’re worth much more than that.”
Summary: Jughead and the reader are at Veronica’s party and Jughead talks to the reader about their abusive father.
A/N: To the 2 anons and @samiloves2sing, I hope you all don’t mind but you all had similar requests so I thought that I could combine them and create an imagine that could have a part 2 with the final prompt? Let me know if you guys want a part 2. I hope you enjoy it, it’s one of my favourites!! Xx
Mask - Noun: a covering for all or part of the face, worn as a disguise, or to amuse or frighten others. Verb: to conceal (something) from view. It’s almost fitting that you should be at a masquerade party, for you are both covering your face as a disguise and concealing something from view. The former being a symbolic foreshadow to the latter.
Veronica insisted on having a party to release all of our emotions as Riverdale’s tragic downfall increases. Her theme is almost poetic. A masquerade. Whether she realises it or not the theme is a metaphor for Jason Blossom’s murder as his murder could be hiding among us. Hiding behind a mask of lies every waking moment of the day.
Unfortunately, they’re not the only one hiding something. Your father, a well loved council member, abused you behind closed doors. Your mother had passed away during childbirth and your father had never recovered. 4 years ago you had turned 12 and your father came home drunk. Up until then he had been a good father but the 12 years of bottled up resentment had finally burst. You took the beatings and after he had passed out you would tend to your wounds and escape to Pop’s, where your dark haired crush and best friend would be waiting for you.
You never told Jughead what happens but after a few meet ups where you had consistently shown up with multiple bandages and (at times) casts, he put two and two together. Most of the times he would distract you from the day’s events and let you read and give your opinion on his novel, but there were the days where he would take you to the twilight and cuddle with you while you watched movies. You knew he wasn’t one for affection or physical contact so knowing he was fighting his natural instinct to shy away from those things, helped mend the emotional and mental issues you had accumulated.
And so its with a knowing look that Jughead greets you with that you know that he knows what it’ll cost you to show up at Veronica’s party. You look away from the brooding writer to try and forget about the impending doom that will befall you when you leave the blissful chaos you’re currently in the middle of.
“A beautiful mask for the beautiful mystery in black,” you hear your crush comment behind you. You turn around, a blush tinting your cheeks and your heart skipping a beat at the compliment.
“And a simple mask for the perceptive writer,” you remark, locking eyes with him and conveying all your emotions through your eyes.
“Should we get you a drink m'lady?” He obnoxiously bows with a wink.
“As long as it’s not alcoholic,” he grins and starts to make a reply only to be interrupted but a certain, drunk, redhead.
“Oh (Y/N) have a little fun! It’s a party after all,”
“Archie I-” he shushes you and shoves a drink in your hand.
“When I come back, that drink better be gone,” he grins walking away with a sway in his steps. As soon as he’s far enough, Jughead, who you hadn’t noticed had left, came back with a drink in his hand and swaps it with the one Archie gave you. Smiling at him gratefully you take a sip. Lemonade. He always knows what to do. You skull the drink as Archie turns around to look at you and you flip your cup, showing an empty cup. He grins nodding before going back to…you don’t even know what he’s doing. After a couple of hours, you and Jughead escape into a room and lock the door, securing a quiet and peaceful escape.
“(Y/N), are you alright?” He questions as you both sit down next to each other on the bed.
“Yea, I’m alright, just tired,”
“You know I’m not talking about the party,”
“I know but I can’t give you an answer you’ll be satisfied with,”
“(Y/N), how about you come stay at the twilight with me tonight? Nothing will hurt you there,”
“Juggy, no. I can’t,”
“I promise I’ll protect you,”
“Jug I’m not worth your protection. You need to be focused on someone else. I’m a lost cause,” you pause a while before smiling, “I’m a lost girl, soon I can go to Neverland.” You make a reference to your favourite childhood story knowing your raven haired confident would understand your hidden message.
“(Y/N),” he frowns, “ you know I think you’re worth much more than that. I’m not letting you go so easily” You breath hitches at the implications of your crushes statements.
“Jughead, you can’t protect me. It’s too dangerous and you’re the only thing left that is important to me now. Please don’t put yourself in harms way for someone like me.” He stands up, takes his beanie off and runs his hand through his hair in frustration. He then quickly turns around, grabs your head and crashes his lips to yours. Your eyes widen in shock and the force and passion of his kiss takes your breath away. You quickly recover and kiss him back with just as much passion.
“I’m not letting you go back there,”
“You can’t stop me, my father is the only family I have left,”
“(Y/N) you have me,”
“I know I do but letting you protect me would only hurt you. It’s like letting you stand in front of a gun that’s gonna fire towards me regardless of its obstacle.” He sighs giving up.
“Fine, but I expect to see you at Pop’s at 9 tomorrow morning and not in Neverland. Understand?” He tells me in a firm and commanding tone. I notice the fear in his voice and hug him tightly.
“Thank you Jug.” We pull away and I look at the time.
“It’s really late, I should go home before it gets worse,” he looks at me worriedly.
“Ok, let’s go,”
“You’re not coming with me”
“I’m going to walk you home, and you cannot say or do anything about it.” You both walk out of the room, find Veronica and thank her for the party. You both then start making the doomed trek to your house. Halfway there Jughead grabs your hand and squeezes it reassuringly.
“I’m not gonna let anything happen to you,” he says.
“Ok,” you simply reply, getting tired of the constant circle the conversation is going in.
When you’re two houses away you stop, let go of his hand and turn around to face him.
“Juggy, thank you for everything but now you have to let me go,” he grabs you by the waist and kisses you again, softly this time. You wrap your arms around his neck and you hold each other tightly, afraid to let go. When you both break away for air, you peck him one more time and then walk to your house. Giving Jughead one last look you walk inside to face your father.
“(Y/N)! Your finally home,” he spits at you with disdain. “I told you not to go to the party,” he gets up from his chair and starts coming towards you, backing you up against the wall. He takes another swig of his beer and raises the bottle behind his head. He goes to take a swing at you, when the front door bursts open and your dad is knocked to the ground. Your knight in shining armour, Jughead, steps in front of you.
“You don’t get to touch her! Not anymore. Not after what you did!”
(from Kiznaiver “KizRaji” public recording, morning part)
In this corner titled “Reach for Your Goal, Kiznaiver of Solitude! ‘Only One’ Championship Match,” each seiyuu needs to share an embarrassing experience that the audience should find hard to relate. After each seiyuu’s story, the audience will indicate that they can relate by applauding, and the seiyuu who gets the least applause wins.
Kaji volunteered to go first, and here’s how it went…
Nishiyama: Now, let’s listen to Kaji-san’s embarrassing story. Please go ahead.
*stereotypical gentle music for storytelling starts playing*
*laughs from the audience*
Kaji: Pfft! It’s not like I’m gonna tell something nice, what’s up with this music? *switches to a storytelling tone* It all happened –
*laughs from the audience*
Kaji: – in the summer of last year. I went to the recording studio as usual. But my job that day was neither anime recording nor movie dubbing, which I get to work with other people; it was a game recording. I was all by myself for half of the day. As for the game, it was the type of female-oriented game that we call otome game. In the last scene of the game, I needed to say a lot of sweet lines, and, you know, insert some *chu~(kissing)* sounds…
*laughs from the audience*
Kaji: But, maybe because I was nervous or not used to saying those lines, I kept stumbling over my words, especially at the important places. I ended up saying “I like yo– *stumbles*” And after that, the “lip sound” I was supposed to make turned out to be something like, like, “bu”…
*laughs from the audience*
Kaji: Sometimes my kissing sound just doesn’t come out properly… And I guess that would be my embarrassing moment. Bye-bye~
*laughs from the audience* *music ends*
Nishiyama: Thank you very much!
Kaji: That music was totally unexpected!
Nishiyama: I know.
Kaji: That was an embarrassing background music.
Nishiyama: And you are the first one to go…
Kaji: But (messing up on kissing sounds) itself is really embarrassing.
Nishiyama: I understand.
Maeno: I know I know.
Kaji: I guess every male seiyuu understands how that feels.
Nishiyama: When the kissing sound doesn’t come out, it really is…
Kaji: It’s weird… Like when (your lips) are dry… You have to make them moist enough…
Maeno: We usually don’t make that kind of sound in the first place.
Kaji: Exactly! *lol* We don’t do that kind of stuff usually!
Maeno: We don’t go “chu~chu~” like that.
Nishiyama: We don’t go “chu~chu~”…
Kaji: Although it’s embarrassing, we still do it. It’s like, “Can I go now? Muah!~”
Nishiyama: *laughing* Yes yes.
Kaji: That sort of thing feels really embarrassing.
Maeno: *lol* Should I say what you just did is a little weird…
Kaji: Plus the fact that the staff is watching you from the other side of the glass… It’s even worse if you use the dummy head mic…
Maeno: I know right!
Kaji: Imagine saying and doing that sort of stuff to such a coarse face… It’s quite a scary scene. It’s just really embarrassing.
Nishiyama: It really is.
PS: Kaji was one of the winners for this contest(?)… The most enthusiastic applause he received was from Maeno lol.
I see your headcanon about Albus writing in the books he gifts to Scorpius and I raise you: Albus writing little, slight awful but very sweet, poems in the front of them.
Ron bestowing ‘Twelve Fail-Safe Ways to Charm Wizards’ on his nephew and Albus being mortified but also bored enough one summer to actually read a bit of it. There’s a whole chapter on how poetry canbe romantic and Albus thinks, why not.
Albus: If you’re just going to laugh I’ll take it back.
Scorpius: No! I love it! Consider me charmed. Completely wooed! No one has ever rhymed Pepper Imps with… shrimps for me before.
((I decided to create a possible idea of what might happen with the Aftermath of this AU. It’s a brilliant AU, so many possibilities and great writing on your part (I also love your art wow)! So, here it is! I hope you like it!))
After the incident, everything in Jeremy’s life changed, and for the better.
After he told Michael about everything that had happened (using the journal as proof, even if he has to read it to him and persuade it to him enough to make him believe him), he was convinced by Michael to get the Squip out of his brain.
There was a whole shitload of stuff that happened (may possibly write it out), whereas Jeremy had to fight against the Squip'a forces, talk to Rich, and finally get that Mountain Dew Red to end it all, Michael being his main support.
Afterwards, with everything that had happened to them with the party and Squips, Jeremy finally seemed to be accepted by people. Not only did Rich come out as bi and started being good friends with Jeremy and Michael, he got them one step closer to Jake, Chloe, Brook and Jenna. Christine had taken a liking to helping Michael after the accident (Jeremy wasn’t into her anymore since he figured out his feelings for Michael, however he couldn’t help appreciate all the amazing things she did), and so the Drama Crew was formed, their friendship really unexpected and magnificent.
Not to mention that Jeremy and Michael had gotten together quickly. Jeremy visited Michael in the hospital everyday after the accident until he got out. Apparently Michael would have full blindness for up to a year, six-nine months at least, and then he’s have eyesight problems for the rest of his life (so, worse than needing glasses obviously, however he’d have partial blindness at times. However it wouldn’t affect him as greatly, and not as bad forever).
Despite the joking bets about how long they’d last, they lasted.. that’s just it. They lasted. They graduated, went to college together (They were cool in college, let me tell you,) and moved in together shortly afterwards. They went on dates, got a dog named Pac-Man (a stray Michael found on the street, what a furry,) , and eventually had a wedding! It was small but cute, the Crew was there, Jeremy’s dad was there, Michael’s parents were there, and Mr. Reyes was there for some reason. It was all amazing, life couldn’t go better for Michael and Jeremy Heere.
That’s the saying, you can only go up. But when you’re up, where else can you go? Well.. only down, of course.
Jeremy and Michael were in their early 40’s. It had been so long since everything happened, the two never imagined Michael’s sight could be so bad ever again. He had been able to see just fine since he had turned 31, despite still needing glasses. They hadn’t even costed the doctor in a whole year, they were so confident.
Confidence wasn’t enough.
Michael had always been insistent on driving himself places after he had gotten better. To practice driving again after getting better, he went to the grocery store to get stuff for the week for them every week, and he had just kept it up since. It wasn’t a big deal.
It had been September when this whole instance occurred. Jeremy sat at home on this Monday, when he had the work day off for Labor day. He sorted through the papers in his hands that was keeping him busy. It wasn’t business papers, oh no (he couldn’t work for a big business anyways, it reminded him of the Squip. Plus he just hated the thought of working in a cubical), these were adoption papers. Jeremy and Michael had been thinking about this for yesrs, and now they were thing of going through with this. He was reading through the different foster care systems near them, when he heard his phone ring.
Jeremy wasn’t one to let his phone go to voicemail unless he was really, really into something or just couldn’t reach the phone. This wasn’t one of those times. He was quite calm at the moment, normal, feeling alright..
He suddenly didn’t feel alright. With the sound of the stranger over the line telling him about the accident. Telling him that his player two had swivered off the side of the highway into a ditch in a frenzy. He was at the hospital. He was under-
Jeremy had stopped listening. Why? Because he dripped his phone on the way outside. Panic ran through his body as he sped out of the driveway in his car, cutting someone off and not caring for a single second.
He could barely breathe as he raced towards the hospital. He knew where it was from how many times he’s been there for this man and this man alone. This man he loved more than anything in the world. The man he saw die so many times before- but felt it so real this time that he felt like he would die right here and now if he didn’t make it to the hospital.
Adrenalin filled him as he crashed into the ER, frantically waving down anyone at all to tell him where Michael was. He looked insane, so if course, security had stopped him before a nurse had came to him.
“Where’s Michael? Where- I-Im married to him! I-is he ok?”
“Sir, were doing everything we can. Hes in a critical state. You have to calm-”
“I can’t calm down! I have to see him- h-he can’t die! I can’t let him d-die! Please!” Jeremy held back the word ‘again’. He also held back tears.
Just then, a doctor stepped into the area. He talked to the lady at the front counter before making his way over to us. “You’re Jeremy Heere, sir?”
Jeremy nodded quickly. “Y-yes, where’s Michael? Is he ok? H-hes ok, right?”
The doctor had paused.
Jeremy felt a fear rush through him at this silence. “H-hes, t-tell me Michael’s ok! Tell me!” He persisted, his voice escalating.
The doctor spoke calmly, obviously rehearsed and drone-like. “I’m sorry sir. There was nothing else we could do for him. Michael had punctured his lung and bled to death before we could do anything usef..”
Jeremy felt his heart drop as the words sunk in. His thoughts seemed to stop, scream to a halt, not disappear, but a much , much worse feeling. The feeling of his whole life crashing down on him and fleeing him at the same time. His heart stopped, like everything else, for a pause that seemed to last for hours.
Then it all hit him. All of it. His heart came back, feeling an ache that only grew worse with every pump. His mind filled with the words of the doctor, the thoughts of his lovers death, the thoughts of Michael, Michael, Michael is dead.
Jeremy was crying. His cheeks were leaking as he pulled himself away from the other men. He stumbled back, still staring at the doctor. His vision became blurry as he started crying harder than every before, his breath becoming tiny gasps, his feet losing balance when he realised he was outside the hospital, on the grass. He brought his hands to his face, weeping and whaling profusely to himself, alone.
Everything came flooding back. And it all guilted him. He could have gone grocery shopping with him. For him. He could have taken him to the doctors to get checked up, seen that his sight might get worse. Checked that his lover was ok with a phone call, say “I love you, player two” one last time. The worst part was that he couldn’t remember the last words they had exchanged.
His mind was in such a spiraling state that he started thinking of everything bad that he ever did to Michael. He reached his deaths, he reached the looping. He remembered every death. He remembered his pain and how none of that pain was nearly as bad as it is now. Now was the worst day of his life. And there had been many bad days for Jeremy Heere.
He just wanted to see his face one more time. He wanted to see his lover, his player two, his alive husband, his best friend, his partner in crime, the most amazing person in the world-
“Or you’ll what?”
The bathroom. The light. The taste of shitty, terrible liquor threatening his mouth. And right in front of him, almost 30 years younger, was the love of his life. He teared up.
(HOOOOO BOYYYYYY I AM. I AM DEC E ASED
I AM LIKE. LIKE THIS
I’M AM PHYSICALLY W EAK
That was really really really fantastic, wow!! I have had thoughts about making the timeline where Michael goes blind the final timeline, sort of like, there’s gotta be some sacrifices, but they don’t necessarily have to be someone dying, ya know? And just imagining all the fun stuff that he and Jeremy go through afterward, hoooo!
All I can think about now is Jeremy pushing Michael (who’s wearing like, shutter shades or a pair of ridiculous sunglasses probably) around in a wheel chair through school and Michael’s like “Move outta the way, bitches, I got an escort to class” and like. Once they recover they get comfortable enough to make blind jokes ppfffp Although I do like the idea of Michael’s sight coming back eventually. Like the accident at Jake’s house was only temporary and he regains his sight after a couple months or a year or smth.
BUT ANYWAY BACK TO SCREAMING THAT WRECKED ME AAAA!! I just can’t imagine how awful that would be, to live thirty years and then be taken back in time all the way back to the start of the whole thing;; but now Jeremy can try to prevent the whole blind thing, yeah? (Maybe instead Jeremy ends up going blind :0)
STOP KILLING MICHAEL I say as I continue to kill Michael in multiple of my AUs haha–//shot
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!! You guys are awesome continuing to shower me with fics and beautiful art and giving me more ideas for this AU I AM TRULY. TRULY BLESSED.)
ok so I can honestly just imagine pidge getting REALLY UPSET that shiro isn’t taking care of himself like
shiro gets sinus infections and shit pretTy often bc he’s got a huge lump of scar tissue hanging out in his nasal cavity, and the first time it happens with team voltron he tries to hide it until he FUCKING PASSES OUT LIKE A DINGUS
and he wakes up and everyone’s like FUCK SHIRO ARE YOU OK??? but pidge is just SC REA M ING “WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?! YOU COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY HURT SHIRO!!! WHAT THE FUCK YOU JUST FUCKING P ASSE D O UT WH–”
hunks like “woah pidge chill” but pidge is just: (ง °`Д´°)ง
pidge makes shiro PROMISE that if he starts to feel sick again he HAS to tell them–and they tear up a little bit–and shiro’s just like OH GOD I’M SO SORRY PLS DON’T CRY I’M SORRY
and pidge is just:
so a few months pass and shiro DOES get sick again and he’s like “…shit I gotta tell them but I don’t want them to worry ahhhhhhh fuck”
so he DOES tell pidge but really downplays ALL of his symptoms and pidge side eyes him SO FUCKING HARD like
(￢ ￢) “…ok. I trust you shiro. but you GOTTA tell me if it gets worse, ok? like if you develop a fever. ok?” and shiro’s like yeah sure no problem
(but he’s ALREADY got a fever, like a JACKASS)
and later that day pidge calls him down to their workspace all “shiro I want to test the levels of brain wave compatibility between paladins and their lions to better understand blah blah blah you’re most connected to your lion blah blah let me put these things on your head”
shiro’s sick and spaced out so he’s like “uh sure, that’s fine”
but PSYCH it’s a fucking THERMOMETER and the screen lights up “102.47″ and pidge just SCREECHES
“I KNEW IT! I KNEW YOU WERE MORE SICK THAN YOU SAID SHIRO GOD DAMN IT!!! WHY WON’T YOU JUST TELL US–”
and shiro’s stunned and apologizing, but also chuckling cuz it’s funny how upset pidge is getting about a little cold and saying, “pidge, really, it’s not that big of a deal, I just didn’t want you to worry over nothing.”
and pidge stops screaming really suddenly, almost crying, still obviously furious, just staring at shiro in silence. then just shouts “HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO TRUST YOU?!” and storms off
