You stared at the guests as they made their way into the church for the ceremony that was starting soon. You looked down at your bracelet and let out a sigh. You turned the bracelet over to look at the engraving To my best friend, I will always love you. -Harry
As you stared at your bracelet, you couldn’t help but to let a tear fall. You angrily wiped it away. You had no one to blame but yourself. You couldn’t feel sorry for yourself because you could’ve prevented all of this. You never told Harry your true feelings for him. You never told Harry how much you meant to him and how you knew in your heart that he was with the wrong girl. Now, here you are at Harry’s wedding.
You glanced at the time on your phone and realized it was almost time for the ceremony to start. You let out a shaky sigh as you made your way back into the church. As you were about to go into the restroom to clean up your tear stained face, you saw Niall looking around the hallway. When his eyes met yours, he visibly let out a sigh of relief. “I’ve been looking for you ,Y/N.” Niall said as he approached you.
Immediately, he noticed how your eyes were red from crying. “Oh Y/N” Niall sighed as he pulled you into a hug. Niall was the only one to know about your feelings for Harry. When Harry and his fiancé, Kimberly, had their engagement party, Niall noticed how you spent most of the party sitting outside. When he went to check up on you and scold you for sitting out in the cold, you were sobbing into your arms. Finally, you opened up to someone and told Niall how it broke your heart that Harry couldn’t see your feelings for him.
You pulled back from the hug slightly, “I’m fine, Niall. What did you need me for?” Niall let out a hum as he scratched the back of his neck, “Harry’s looking for you.” You let out a sigh as you shook your head. You quickly wiped your eyes once more, careful not to ruin your makeup any more than you did, and started making your way to Harry’s room.
You knocked on the door softly and let yourself in when you heard Harry telling you to come in. A smile instantly found its way to your face. Harry gave you a smile as he stared at your reflection in the mirror. He turned around to look at you properly, “What do you think?” You walked up to Harry and wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him in for a tight hug, “Oh H. You look so handsome.”
Harry smiled and returned the hug. He then pulled you at arm’s length. You felt your face flush as you noticed Harry’s eyes on you. “You look so beautiful, Y/N.”
You looked down at your light grey dress and smiled. Harry insisted you to be in his wedding somehow. He couldn’t not have his best friend standing at his side. After Kimberly’s dismay, you were one of her bridesmaids.
You cleared his throat as you took a seat on the couch that was in the room. “Niall said you were looking for me.”
Harry nodded and let out a puff of air as he sat down beside you. He ran his hand through his hair as he stared up at the ceiling, “I’m nervous, Y/N.”
You nodded your head as you looked up at the ceiling as well. “Of course you are. It’s your wedding. You should feel nervous.”
Harry shook his head no, “I’m not nervous about the wedding. I’m nervous about the future.” He looked at you before he continued, “What if I’m making the wrong decision by rushing into this?’
You looked down at your bracelet and began running your index finger across it, a habit you picked up whenever you were feeling nervous. “I think…if Kimberly makes you feel loved and if you cherish her as a much as you say you do…that you’re not rushing into this as all.”
Harry wore a soft smile as he listened to your advice and nodded your head. He reached across, interrupting you playing with your bracelet, and held on to your hand. “I can always count on you, Y/N. You’re truly my best friend.”
You could’ve easily told Harry that yes. He was rushing into things. You could’ve told him that he was making a mistake and that you just knew he belonged to you but looking into his eyes…Hearing him talk about his love for Kimberly…you knew you couldn’t. With that thought in your head, your eyes started to brim with tears. Harry tilted his head questionably at you and with a smile on his face, he asked, “Oh Y/N. Are you crying because it’s my wedding day?”
You let out a shaky laugh and nodded your head, “Yes.”
You took your place with the other bridesmaids and waited for Kimberly to come down the aisle. As the music started to play, signaling her arrival, everyone’s eyes were on the blushing bride but your eyes were looking at Harry’s. You noticed as he stared at the love of his life walking up to him, his eyes had tears. The kind of tears you get when you just love someone so much you could feel your heart burst out of your chest. You knew those kind of tears because it was the kind of tears you had whenever you thought about Harry. You looked down at the bouquet of flowers you were holding and felt your eyes water again. Quietly you let out a sniffle.
As the ceremony went on, it was time for Harry to say his vows. He wiped a tear from his eye, making everyone in the room awe. He let out a small chuckle as he reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. He looked at the paper and smiled before he looked back into Kimberly’s eyes. “Love. Can you believe we’re here? Can you believe we’re getting married? I know I don’t. To this day, I’m still amazed that I’ve manage to have the privilege of getting to know such an amazing and beautiful girl. I promise to always love you. I promise to let you be right when I know you’re wrong. I promise to never go to bed angry at each other. I promise to be your best friend for the rest of our lives. I promise to never hurt you. I promise to always remain loyal. I promise to be yours.”
Niall leaned up a little from the groomsmen side to have a look at you. He sighed as he saw how you were visibly shaking from sadness. He knew that everything Harry was saying to Kimberly, you wished he was saying to you. He looked at the ground as he softly shook his head, his heart breaking for his friend.
After Kimberly said her vows to Harry and the pastor giving his blessing, the pastor finally said the seven words that were jabs to your heart, “I now pronounce you husband and wife.” When Harry and Kimberly broke off the kiss, the whole room cheered. Everyone rose to their feet as the couple walked down the aisle as husband and wife. As the room started to clear out, everyone anxious to congratulate the newlyweds, you lagged behind. Soon enough you were the last in the church room. You sat down on one of the chairs set up and placed your head into your hands as you let out a quiet sob. Harry was married.

“We’re milking the cows tonight! It’s “Chateau Romani”. It’s the
first time I get to drink it! Until now, my sister always said “Wait
until you’re an adult”. But why now?” “…You’ve become an adult now, Romani…I see it in you. I’m acknowledging it.” “Then, does Romani get a mask, too?” “Well, yes, I’ll make one for you… Sleep with me in my bed tonight, OK, Romani?”
This one is based on the scene between these twoon the third night. It’s heartbreaking…. Poor Cremia knows that they’ll likely die by the next
day, but she’s trying to act like nothing’s wrong…
The Freshmen see “Drugged Andrew” for the first time
// OK, so originally this was going to be “Freshmen see Manic Andrew for the first time”, but I agree with the consensus in the fandom that Andrew is bipolar so “manic” didn’t quite sit right with me, as this wasn’t just mania, it was the effect of his medication so yeah //
** Also, this fic contains non-canon scenes, and canon scenes with non-canon lines so yeah don’t kill me **
** And this is long as fuck I’m sorry no I’m not **
BTS Reactions To Their Girlfriend Being a Night Owl
Jin woke up in the middle of the night only to find you missing from your usual spot beside him. Confused, he got up and headed downstairs only to find you sitting comfortably on the sofa with your laptop on your lap and earbuds in your ears. He tilted his head as he made towards you. As he neared, you finally noticed his presence and looked up a bit surprised to find him awake.
“Oh no,” you frowned, “did I wake you up?”
He shook his head, “no…what are you doing?”
You turned your laptop towards him so he could see the YouTube video you had been watching.
“I usually don’t sleep until late,” you explained.
“Oh…that explains why you sleep in so much. I can’t believe I havent noticed until now.”
“I didn’t tell you because then I felt like you’d feel obligated to stay up with me.”
He nodded in understanding before he looked at you with a pout, “I can’t sleep without you in my arms though jagiya.”
“You sleep perfectly fine without me while you’re on tour,” you pointed out only making him pout more finally making you give in.
“Fine let’s go,” you said as he grabbed your hand and led you back to bed.
Yoongi felt the bed dip as your weight was suddenly lifted off. He didn’t think much of it though as he quickly fell back asleep. Your laugh is what ultimately woke him up.
His eyes were scrunched in annoyance as he tiredly reached for his phone on the bedside table. He could barely see as he typed you a message telling you to shut up and let him sleep.
His annoyance rose as he felt your phone buzz not too far from his. He contemplated whether to just fall back asleep again when he heard you laugh louder this time. He groaned as he begrudgingly rose from the bed and headed to the living room.
Your eyes widened as you covered your mouth, “I woke you up didn’t I?”
He just silently glared, before he grabbed you by the hand and led you back to bed. Once you were settled he rested his head on your stomach and closed his eyes.
“This is your punishment for waking me up,” he murmured before drifting back into the unconscious.
Hoseok could feel his eyelids begin to droop as he stared at the TV screen. He looked at the time and was surprised to find that it was already 1am. How had time flown so quickly?
You on the other hand, were the complete opposite of him. You were wide awake. Your feet rested on his lap as you browsed the internet through your phone.
Hoseok had become used to your late sleeping habits but he still worried you weren’t getting enough sleep. However, he knew that there wasn’t much that he could do, as it was just who you were.
He stayed up a bit longer having decided to keep you company before the urge to sleep became unbearable.
He lightly patted your leg to get your attention before he moved to get up, “hey baby, I think I’m going to head off to bed now.”
You looked up from your phone and frowned as you could see the exhaustion paint his face.
“You should’ve gone to sleep sooner,” you told him with soft eyes.
He shook his head and gave you a warm smile, “don’t worry just try not to stay up too long.”
He leaned down to give you a kiss, before he headed off towards the bedroom.
You were trying to decide whether to watch another episode of your drama or sleep when your eyes wandered to the spot beside you. You could barely contain your laugh as you saw Namjoon with his mouth hung open as his chest rose and fell; a snore occasionally leaving his mouth here alnd there.
Though you usually stayed up late to catch up on your dramas or browse the Internet, moments like these are what you truly looked forward to. Seeing him sleep so peacefully was something you didn’t often get to see as he’d usually wake up before you.
Namjoon was well aware of your sleeping habits but they never seemed to bother him. He was quick to fall into a deep sleep regardless of how much noise you made.
A yawn escaped you as you noticed how the blanket had slighty slid off Namjoon in his sleep. You closed your laptop and put it away and readjusted his blanket before you turned the bedside lamp off, and drifted to sleep.
Jimin let out a yawn as he sat up in bed and stretched his arms. He looked towards your side of the bed and wasn’t surprised to find it empty. With a small sleepy smile, he got up and made his way to the kitchen.
He couldn’t help but notice how cold the floor felt against his bare feet. In fact, the whole house felt a bit chilly. Making a small detour he rose the heat so you’d be more comfortable staying up.
You heard him before you saw him. You found it funny that you could now identify his steps from others.
“Hello,” you chirped from the dining table as he walked to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water.
“Hey,” he returned as he sat down beside you, “so what are you up to, today?”
You shifted your laptop to show him the picture you had just been editing.
“It looks good,” he smiled.
He kept you company for a few minutes before he placed a kiss on your temple, “I’m going to head off back to bed. Make sure to sleep relatively early, ok? Oh! Also, it’s a bit cold so maybe move to the living room where there’s blankets.”
Taehyung didn’t always wake up, but it did happen occasionally. However, today, or rather tonight, happened to be one of the times he did.
You felt him stir awake beside you and you took your earbuds out, “I didn’t wake you did I?”
His eyes still a bit hazy, he sat up in the bed and shook his head, “no.” You felt relieved, the last thing you wanted was to rob him of his sleep since it was so important that he was always rested.
“What are you watching?” He murmured as he looked towards the screen of your laptop.
“It’s a new kdrama that came out,” you explained as you saw that he was unfamiliar with what he was seeing.
“Is it any good?” He asked genuinely curious. This was something that happened occasionally too. You often stayed up to watch dramas or youtube videos and if he happened to wake up and find them interesting, he’d stay up with you.
You took a few minutes to explain the basic plot line to him and after garnering his attention he went to the kitchen to grab some snacks before joining you again. After laying the laptop in front of you both, you finished another 2 episodes before dozing off.
Jungkook was already waiting on the couch for you, having gotten used to this habit of yours. As you came back down from changing into your pyjamas, you noticed various snacks strewn all over the coffee table.
Your eyes slightly widened, “where did all those come from?” You were genuinely curious as you hadn’t seen them in the kitchen earlier.
“I bought them on my way home,” he explained with a smile as he moved over on the couch so you could sit down.
“So what anime are we watching today?” He asked curiously as it was your turn to choose.
“Hmm I was thinking Your Lie in April, maybe?”
“Isn’t that one supposed to be sad?”
“Yeah, but I heard it was really good!”
With a nod he agreed to your choice and you laid on the couch and rested your head on his thighs. Once you were settled he kissed the top of your head before he reached over to throw a blanket over you so you wouldn’t be cold.
After each of you picked your choice of snack, you began your usual long night.
Both admin k and i felt this request on a personal level. We both stay up too late these days lol….anyways, I hope it came out ok and that you guys like it!
Prompt: Hey! I love your writing and this Halloween idea that you’re doing.. I feel like this has probably been requested but batmom! x Damian where she takes him trick or treating for the first time with some cute bonding?!? Love your blog so much❤️ (requested by @its-electric-love )
“Nightwing, you take the missing persons reports in the East End. Red Robin, you have the recent cyberattacks on Wayne Enterprises RnD server. Red Hood: a major trafficking deal is going down at the docks tonight. Save the citizens, no one dies.” Bruce commanded instructions out to each of the boys for tonight’s patrol.
“Why do you always feel the need to tell me that? Kind of unfair.” Jason said defensively crossing his arms over his chest.
“Tt. He mentions it because you’re a trigger happy moron Todd.” Damian bit back with a frown. Jason turned to Damian and looked just about ready to start a confrontation.
“Alright boys, there’s no need to fight.” You reprimanded. Jason visibly calmed at your interference but Damian remained defiant.
“Damian.” Bruce said sternly which worked to divert his attention away from Jason.
“Yes father?” Damian asked obediently.
“You will be going undercover tonight with [Y/N]. There are rumors that trick-or-treat candy in city might be contaminated. I need you to discreetly take samples and report back with your results.” He explained. The two of you exchanged a knowing look that the others failed to catch on to.
“Wait. He gets to go trick-or-treating while the rest of us are working? That’s really unfair.” Jason complained.
“It’s an investigation, Jason.” You reasoned gently in your signature mom voice.
“Yeah and if just so happens to get more candy than he could possibly eat, it’s just a perk of the job right?” Tim piped up.
“If you all finish your work early you are more than welcome to join us on our investigation.” You offered diplomatically.
“Runt better share.” Jason grumbled as he stormed off to hop on his bike and ride off to start his work for the night. The others soon left after Jason to go about their duties. Bruce stopped briefly to lean down and press a kiss to the top of your head.
“Good luck tonight, love.” He whispered.
“Go save the day, Batman.” You smiled reassuringly at him. Bruce squeezed your shoulder supportively before turning to head towards the Batmobile. He gave Damian a waring ‘behave yourself’ look as he passed.
“Do I have to wear a stupid costume?” Damian sighed after his father left.
“No you can be Robin if you’d like. Halloween’s just about the only day you can get away wearing your uniform undercover. I just need a little wardrobe change and then we can leave.” You said with a little smirk as you made your way into the locker room where your uniform for the night lay waiting. You quickly changed into the costume and stepped out with a dramatic flair of your cape.
“Batman?” Damian asked with an unimpressed quirk of his eyebrow.
“Close. Batmom. It was your father’s idea.” You clarified.
“Tt. Whatever.” Damian rolled his eyes. So much for tonight being about bonding. All you wanted was for your fiance’s son to accept you, on any level. You told Bruce that you refuse to marry him unless every one of his children was ok with it. He understood your hesitation but for some time now Damian was the last to accept you. You hated to keep Bruce waiting this long but you weren’t about to become a Wayne if his youngest son resented you. So in an effort to give you and Damian some much needed bonding time, Bruce suggested you take him out for Halloween in the guise of a mission.
“Well this case isn’t going to investigate itself. Let’s get a move on!” You said cheerfully.
You were only trick-or-treating and uselessly testing candy for traces of contamination for about an hour before Damian caught on.
“This isn’t a mission, is it?” He asked in a tone of annoyance. You sighed at being caught far before you could even attempt to bond with him. Tonight was such a terrible idea. You both should have known it would have never had worked but you were just so desperate for some sort of breakthrough. You had been with Bruce for nearly five years now and Damian still just barely tolerated your presence.
“No it isn’t. Your father thought you could use a night off to be a normal kid.” You explained.
“My father thought he could force me to like you if we were forced to spend time together.” He said with an angry pout.
“That too.” You sighed and moved to sit down on the steps of a building who wasn’t participating in the night’s festivities. You took off your cowl and hung your head shamefully in between your knees. “Am I doing something wrong, Damian? Please if I am, tell me. I want nothing more than to be at least amicable towards each other.” You asked with a hint of desperation in your voice. Five years and nothing has changed between you and Damian. Maybe this was your sign that it wasn’t meant to be. To your dread Damian remained silent.
“I can’t marry your father -”
“What?” He cried in sudden outrage.
“Let me finish. I can’t in good conscious marry your father knowing that not all of his children approve of me. I’ve been trying so hard since we’ve met to get your approval, but nothing I do or say seems to change your mind about me.” You said defeated.
“You … you won’t marry father because of me?” He asked incredulously.
“I won’t marry your father because I don’t want to intrude on your family when not everyone isn’t comfortable with me being there.” You clarified. “Damian, if you don’t want me to be a part of your family only say the word and I’ll call everything off.” You swore with tears stinging at your eyes. You didn’t want to leave but if you weren’t wanted you didn’t want to be the cause of a rift in the family
“You would do that?” Damian asked softly.
“Of course.” You whispered weakly, not daring to meet the child’s gaze. Suddenly you were thrown back where you sat as Damian tackled you into a tight hug.
“Please don’t leave.” He pleaded. “You’re the most tolerable woman that father has ever brought home. I don’t want you to go.” Damian whispered against you while he hugged you tightly to him. You couldn’t help but to smile and wrap your arms around him in return.
“Really?” You asked. Damian nodded silently against you.
“Please marry my father.” He asked. You smiled warmly and agreed to his request.
“Do you want to continue trick-or-treating? Your brothers shouldn’t be done with their missions for some time.” You suggested kindly. “You don’t have to share your candy with them if you don’t want to.” You offered noticing his hesitation. Damian looked up at you and gave you a broad grin.
“Deal.” He agreed hopping up off the stairs and pulled you to continue working your way down the street. You pulled your cowl back over your eyes and you and Damian continued trick-or-treating for a few more hours until you headed back to the manor. Bruce and the rest of the boys were all in the cave when you got back. Damian walked past them all, giant bag of candy in hand as he moved to go change out of his uniform. Jason tried to snag the bag away from him but Damian brought it to his chest protectively before Jason could get a good grip on it.
“Mine!” He cried possessively. He angled his body away from his brother who was trying in vain to steal a piece of candy from Damian’s bag.
“Mom! Tell the demon to share his candy! I had to work all night!” Jason complained looking to your for intervention.
“Mom said I didn’t have to share.” Damian retorting, sticking his tongue out at Jason tauntingly. Instead of retaliating Jason and everyone else froze in stunned silence at what had just left Damian’s mouth. Your heart swelled and your hand flew up to your mouth to cover your growing grin.
“Oh my god.” Tim breathed in shock.
“He - did he just call her ‘mom’?” Dick asked looking at everyone else to make sure he wasn’t just hearing things. Damian’s cheeks flared up in a deep blush.
“No I didn’t! I - I” Damian stuttered over his words. Bruce walked over to his son and put a comforting hand on Damian’s shoulder. Bruce gave him a proud look but otherwise said nothing on the subject, instead choosing to deflect everyone’s attentions.
“What do you say we all go up and watch a Halloween movie or two? Popcorn and candy all around!” Bruce suggested to everyone. That seemed to distract everyone well enough. They all started to make their way up the steps to the main part of the manor. Bruce hung back and wrapped his arms around your shoulder giving you a sweet lingering kiss when everyone’s backs were turned.
“We’re not watching Rocky Horror again, Jason!” You heard Tim cry out in protest.
“Shut up, nerd! It’s a classic! Just because you don’t understand it …” Jason shot back loudly.
“No one understands it!” Tim shouted. You sighed against Bruce’s lip and he started to chuckle.
“Damage control?” You asked Bruce with a quirked eyebrow.
“Welcome to the family, Batmom.” He said humorously as he led you up the stairs to break up whatever war was looming between your sons.
