ok girl ok

it is cartoon networks 25th birthday today. despite them going down hill the past few years with miller, you at least have to admit they did a really good job on the bumper.

new strategy for dealing with straight girls who jokingly refer to each other as girlfriends: take it seriously and watch them struggle to explain how they ‘didn’t mean it that way’ and blunder their way through a justification of why it’s funny to them

  • me: maybe i'm not actually THAT unstable?? maybe i'm just making it up??
  • also me: *cries for 15 minutes bc my family ate some of my food*

Cartoon Network celebrates its 25th birthday!! AWESOME animation!

For the second time, Daisy Ridley said she was surprised that people didn’t understand Rey’s backstory from The Force Awakens

When asked if the question of Rey’s parents will be answered in The Last Jedi, Daisy (again) said that she expected everyone to know just from watching The Force Awakens, and compared it to people not believing that Vader really was Luke’s father.

Full quote:

“It’s very interesting, because I didn’t know, Mark was telling me, I didn’t know that when Darth Vader said “I’m your father” people didn’t believe it, they didn’t believe that it was true, and it was interesting because at the end of The Force Awakens I thought everyone was going to be like, “oh cool, that’s been answered”, but it hasn’t, and I think that even though a lot of questions are answered in The Last Jedi, I think it’s still that thing of discovery.”
