DIY Lip Scrub

My daughter and I made this lip scrub today that we came across on Pinterest! This is perfect to use before applying your lip stain or even any of your lip products! Exfoliating your lips helps the lip stain go on much easier and much more evenly!

We did use the Vanilla extract in ours and coconut oil instead of Olive oil because for no other reason except that I just love coconut oil :)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

small bowl
1 TBSP sugar
1 TBSP honey
1 tsp olive oil or coconut oil
1 small container (I save my eye cream, pigment etc containers and wash them out)
Optional: Vanilla or peppermint extract
Optional: Food coloring (I did pink - pick a practical color as it may stain lips a little)

DIRECTIONS:

Combine honey & sugar in a small bowl.
Add olive or coconut oil & mix well.
If you want it flavored add in a drop of vanilla or peppermint extract
If you’re feeling creative, add 1-2 drops of food coloring (go light on this or it may stain lips)
Put your scrub into a container.

HOW TO USE:

Before bed, rub a small amount of the scrub onto your lips.
Rinse off with water.
Apply lip balm.
Use twice a week for super soft lips!

She ain’t know about the down fall,
she ain’t ever had withdrawal recall
My addiction is infection,
fucking raw I don’t need no protection..
Would you let me give it all? Just a question

—  Can’t Stay Away

My Villainess perfume oils have arrived! Thanks to @jamfalcon for muling them into Canada.

The Byzantium scent is IT! It’s a perfect mix of all the best parts of “Vanilla Rosewood” from Queen Bee Apothecary, and “Bengal” and “Hellfire” from BPAL; some of my most favourite scents ever!
I can’t wait to smell how it develops on my skin, but 10 minutes in it’s AH-MAY-ZING.

I feel like a corrupt high priestess sitting on a wooden throne in my guilded temple.

Being in 17/18th century Victoria as well as in the vein of the medical professions in their own way do Edmund or Wilkinson use recreational substances? Either for "medicinal" or personal reasons? Opioids, laudanum, alcohol, ether, tobacco, marijuana, heroine, ect. were huge in medicine(especially patent/snake oil medicine for their addiction and effects) at the time.

It’s the 19th century, actually! 1800′s! 1860′s…specifically. 1863 to start…getting a little too specific here. Anyway. Yeah, even without quackery, medicine was definitely questionable. Give me some of that sweet heroin, I have a cold.
They probably have the average intake of questionable drugs as any victorian. Although, Edmund has some serious drinking problems. Edmund’s a total alcoholic. The both of them smoke from time to time, too. Pipes, cigars, how fancy! They can waste all their earned money on such luxuries now.

I think that Cammie did something with you and now you are a coconut oil addict just like her. Lol.

I’ve been putting coconut oil in and on my body regularly for 5 years. #coconutoilhipster

Vegan style open sandwich, Sour Dough bread, with sun dried tomatoes, avacado, fresh slices of ripe tomatoes, topped with black sesame and Nigela seeds, rock salt, with olive oil. Can be very addictive ;)

Random thought #66

The moment you realize that OPEC and the oil companies are effectively drug pushers you begin to realize that cheaper gas prices aren’t a purely good thing: like any pusher, the oil lords need their users to keep buying as much of their product as possible at the highest possible prices. Price reductions merely keep us addicted to oil rather than choosing pesky but pricier alternatives like solar and wind.
