Can we talk about how fucking gorgeous the interface update in the JP version of Record Keeper is?! (with bonus tiny Beatrix!)
(With bonus OH MY HEART THE NOSTALGIA from the Secret of Mana event…I wish the Flammie Drum wasn’t not only classified as a rod but Flammie for some reason was made a low-level limit break…) I used to play Secret of Mana with my brother…it was one of the few games we could play Actually Together that both of us enjoyed. And we always made the best team because he was 100% weapons all the way and I was like I WANT TO STAND OVER HERE AND BURN THINGS so having him play the Boy and have me alternate between the Sprite and the Girl for healing meant we were baller as fuck at that game and all I wanted in this life for a very long time was a stuffed Flammie doll (I never got or made one, though).
And thank sweet merciful everything weapon upgrade items now have their own menu so no more having to waste them or burn Mythril expanding your inventory because all your shit is leveled YES.
Amazing job, DeNa. Maybe next time you have a gacha worth a shit and I feel like I can trust you again I’ll pay into the game. GIVE ME A GOOD GACHA ROLL GOD FUCKING DAMN IT ARGH.
You know what would be cool? HD remakes of the original Spyro trilogy. I wanna fight Gnasty Gnorc in 1080P. Smash Ripto into the ground with beautiful graphics. Kick the Sorceress’s ass in a world that outdoes Skyrim’s beauty.
GA: You get a sense of what they’ve been doing with their time, and what their focus has been, and what they care about. DD: So, when we pick up with them, six years of stuff has happened. I don’t know what it is, but, they’re together. You know, they’re– they’re sleeping in the same bed. So that’s a big difference from what we know them to be.
GA: There was… a lot of romance, and… longing, over time, that I think was, uh, heightened… to good effect… by the writers. The dynamic that sits between David and I when we’re working is, you know, is quite unique. DD: We didn’t really work on it, we just kind of assumed that it would be there. And we actually do have a history at this point. We’ve known each other 15 years… and we’ve done so many hours of work together. More hours than probably anybody in the history of filmed entertainment! You have 201 hours of the tv show, and two hours of the previous movie, so we have at least – over two hundred hours of working together. We just trust that there’s just so much… history that… we allow that to exist and don’t push it and don’t play it.
Spent the better portion of today sorting my photobucket so future commissioners can see examples of the art types all in one place. I left the crayon ones in the main folder and sorted the rest. I can’t believe I’ve done that many honestly, but it’s super cool to see them all. (Hint hint, I’m reopening next week cause boy do I need dragon monies).
Also for those of you who haven’t been following me for the two + years I’ve had this blog, that dragon on the left was the first crayon commission I ever did. They were made differently at the time and it’s hard for me to look at those ones xD. The one on the right is my most recent crayon art, for comparison.
