oh my god i'm in love with this movie

all the boys // panic! at the disco

i’m still so blown away by the spot on characterization of deadpool in the movie

the fact that the first time we see him not as deadpool, he’s working a free job for a teenage girl and putting the fear of god into her stalker

the fact that he doesn’t hurt kids, not even older ones, and “aw, he’s not a bad kid, weas”

him being ready to stand up for vanessa when some guy disrespects her and immediately going heart-eyes when she stands up for herself instead

and then not caring one bit that she’s a prostitute/stripper and it never being a problem when they’re in a serious long-lasting relationship

occasionally losing his temper (”AARRGH RIGHT UP MAIN STREET—three—two—stupid! worth it.” and then of course when vanessa gets kidnapped)

him totally not underestimating tiny negasonic, letting her take on angel dust because he knows she can hold her own, and then the immediate split second decision to grab her and pull her into cover when the guns start going off because he knows she’s strong as shit but not bulletproof

his bonding with blind al oh my fucking god and their disabled-person-to-disabled-person banter (”love is blind” “no, al, you’re blind”)

idk man this character just means a lot to me and so many people are being introduced to him solely through this movie, and i was so worried that they’d get a different character than what we get from the comics but they didn’t and i’m so happy about this

Guys, I’m so excited for the Black Panther movie that I’m actually feeling quite emotional. As a black person who loves superheroes, it’s so amazing to see a superhero movie come out where the main lead is black as well as most of the cast. It’s not us being the usual sidekick or even the villain but it’s us being in the role of heroes and so much more. I actually had my hand over my mouth because there’s just so much representation in that one trailer. Even seeing all the African clothing with the colorful prints is so goddamn familiar to me, it’s something that I hardly even get to see in a Western film.

So this film means a whole lot to me and probably many others like me. It just really makes me happy and I can’t wait to see it on the big screen. I know there’s been talk about it for months now and we’ve seen the cast and whatnot. But seeing an actual trailer really cemented it for me, that this is real and it’s actually happening.

I’m going to stop being all emotional now but yes, it’s finally here!

The Signs As Things My Bio Teacher Said This Semester
  • Aries: "Welcome to class, your parents had sex to make you."
  • Gemini: "Ball is not life, testicle is life."
  • Cancer: "You're only allowed to wear a turtle neck in this class if you have hickies on your neck."
  • Leo: "So what? You have to ejaculate a bull every time to get a can of RedBull?"
  • Virgo: "Fried chicken is not healthy oh my god."
  • Libra: "Pollen isn't magical; it's plant sperm!"
  • Scorpio: "Life isn't a Disney movie. You're all going to die some day."
  • Capricorn: "Maybe you're single because you mistook a female lion for a male tiger."
  • Aquarius: "Please raise your hand if you know what 'genitalia' is."

Summary: Of fate, names written inside book covers, and the space between fairy tale and reality. A Whisper of the Heart AU.

For the lovely anon who asked me for headcanons for this AU (sorry I went a bit overboard), and for @witchymomo because I love her and hope this helps her spirits lift!

Nico makes the connection for the first time the summer of his senior year, on an afternoon thatโ€™s sloppy with the kind of heat that makes breathing a chore.

The name is a simple one. Unassuming. Will Solace, written in the scrawling, fanciful letters of the head librarian. Itโ€™s not the kind of name thatโ€™s made to be noticed.

Nico notices it anyway.

I just want to say
I just saw Wonder Woman and it was so freaking fantastic
Seeing her kick some serious ass and following her journey
My gay ass is still shaking
I want to see it like a thousand more times
I love her so much and I just needed to share my excitement

Ok, I need to just put this out there. I haven’t even seen this movie yet but I’m in fucking tears hearing all about it right now!

I cannot explain just how much it means to me knowing that I will soon take my kids to see a film where the main romantic storyline involves TWO MEN! In a KIDS’ FILM! And it isn’t ridiculed, or some shitty pisstake throwaway joke. It’s being used as a goddamn REDEEMING FEATURE for the main character!

For me, a queer who has had to defend her desire and then decision to have kids her entire life, this is just beyond everything! Constantly hearing how kids should be “sheltered” from homosexuality, like its some dirty horrible thing their precious little minds can’t process, but now having it so gloriously displayed on the big screen? I’m fucking crying right now! And I know this is nothing more than a fun movie for children and I probably shouldn’t be letting it get to me this much, but it has and it does and fuckdammit I LOVE LEGO!

I watched Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children last night with my friend who bought the book but haven't read it yet
  • *Enoch shows up*
  • Me: *Gasps* *Squeal* *Cant stop smiling*
  • Friend: Are you okay?
  • Me: yeah.
  • *Enoch speaks*
  • Me: *more gasps, squealing and random movement*
  • Friend: are you really okay?
  • *Enoch breathes*
  • Me: oh my god. I love him
  • *Enoch kissing Olive*
  • Me: *gasps* no
  • *Enoch holding hands with Olive*
  • Me: noo. ๐Ÿ’”
I just saw Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man Tell No Tales!!!

  • me, watching a blockbuster movie: hm, that seemed really unnecessary to me it seems like the writers were really stretching just to throw in some cheap action shots i hate capitalism and the way it affects modern cinema

If request are still open how about Zen and MC have a Studio Ghibli movie marathon?

- When this man let it slip that he had never watched one, only heard about them, you had never searched for your dvd collection so fast

- He was a bit embarrassed, because he didn’t know they were that important to you, but he wouldn’t argue about any extra couch cuddling he could get

- When you warn him about one being a tear-jerker before you popped it in, he automatically just assumed it was some chick-flick, and thought he would be able to handle it.

- He was wrong.

- Not only did the beautiful animations make him feel so relaxed and inspired (the food scenes making him hungry because how the fuck did they make food look so good), but he was even tearing up with you at the end of the first one.

- “Why do they make such sad films? How am I supposed to enjoy this??”

- He would love them though. Admittedly, when the two of you start up a second one, he gets so relaxed that he falls asleep. He’s a bit embarrassed when you wake him up, but it’s hard to blame him since the movies are so comforting at times.

- He would probably love Howls Moving Castle the most, and enjoy Spirited Away. He’d hate The Cat Returns and Grave of the Fireflies. He’d think Nausicaa was neat, but the others he wouldn’t hate, just enjoy for the story.

- You would probably regret showing him Howl’s Movie Castle because now he wants to dress up like him and oh my god you’ll never hear the end of it

To be a part of something like [Transformers] this is really helpful because… it gives you a lot more exposure internationally, It is important, in some ways, to be a part of a franchise because it gives you enough credibility, I guess, to go and make smaller movies. Which is what I really love to do.- Josh Duhamel For Haute Living Magazine; 2017.
