hi there!! it's your onceuponafestivegifting secret santa. i'm very excited to get started on your gift!! hope you're having a nice day.
Yay!!! Hey there! *waves* I’m so excited. So far my day is great. I’m actually working on the gift for my onceuponafestivegifting recipient. Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
If you have questions, need clarifications, etc. feel free to ask. Also, I won’t be opposed to teasers or hints ;o) (Yes, I was the kid who searched for the hidden gifts and then shook every package to try and discover what I got beforehand!)
FYF third-timers Future Islands came rock the Main Stage on Saturday. Though frontman Samuel T. Herring announced his voice wasn’t up to par, there’s no way any of us would have noticed. Fans and wanderers were intrigued by this particular group of dudes in the lineup for a variety of reasons: great music, great lyrics, great dancing, etc. We were happy to have these guys play our House Party a couple weeks ago in Brooklyn and even happier to see them on this side of the U.S. playing favorites like “Back In The Tall Grass” and “Seasons (Waiting On You).” And to see Mr. Herring’s classic moves, of course.
It’s that time again! Festival season that is. And the first festival to kick things off is none other than Coachella, the two weekend concert series in the sunny desert of California. Aside of course from the good music, celebrities, and all the parties, Coachella’s been known to be somewhat of a birthplace for all the new spring and summer trends. As such, what you wear to the shows is just as important as who you’re there to see. If there’s one item that should be on everyone’s Coachella packing list, it’s a new pair of Teva sandals. Year after year, Teva sandals continue to reign supreme for festival style. Whether you opt for the classic Originals or something with a bit more edge like last year’s Teva x Opening Ceremony collection, there’s a sandal to suit everyone’s style. In preparation for the long summer of music festivals ahead of us, I put together my festival uniform: a tank top, Tev sandals, distressed jeans, and a snapback. Practically speaking it’s an outfit based on comfort and simplicity but one that also packs a lot of style. So who’s ready for festival to begin? I know I am!
