Dicking Around

Storytime!

A few years back my mates and I were dressed up for Halloween and my cat furry roommate (good guy, furries are entertaining folks) was wearing his partial suit out with us. We were in Boston proper and all of us were on a budget at the time, so the only option for a late night drink and dinner open to us was a place called Dick’s Last Resort.

If you’ve never been, the big draw at Dick’s is that they’re dicks to you.  The staff are sarcastic, they throw your menus and straws and shit at you, and they make you hats that say mean stuff.

I don’t get it either. So anyways, we’ve got - I’ll call him Frank - the cat with us, and Frank’s 100% ready to go fuck with Dicks, so we head on in.

The waitress starts doing her bit, but the cat in the room has thrown off her game and she doesn’t really know how to handle Frank in Full Cat mode.

He points out the drink he wants without speaking, with a paw, on the menu and she asks for an ID and starts saying ‘I swear to god your ID better have a big fuckkin’ cat on it or-“

She threw his licence back at us and walked away speechless. Didn’t talk to us the rest of the evening.

Anyways, I dug up this old photo today and thought it deserved to be preserved for posterity.  So here you go, the day Frank broke Dicks.

Edit: My roomie’s been getting linked this post like crazy! He also gave me permission to post his twitter. You should follow him because he’s hilarious and lovely.  @theSmudgiestCat

Okay I’m about to spill some tea

SO “oh look, taylor swift is dragging up past drama to sell her new album, look at her playing the victim again, you’re still over”

is what all the haters happen to be screaming (among over ridiculous things) tonight, following the release of Look What You Made Me Do, the lead single to Swift’s 6th album: Reputation. But let’s take a little trip down memory lane to see if Taylor really is playing the victim. Hold on ladies, it’s gonna be a long one.

2006-2008

Taylor broke out in 2006, and when Love Story stormed the charts in late 2008 she became a global superstar and thus named “America’s Sweetheart” a bittersweet and dangerous title for any young female star, because it’s so easy to fall from the top. She was immediately held to an impossibly high standard of perfection, in every aspect of her life, and she handled this with grace.

Hey guys a quick guide to supports for ya~

I want to note that you don’t have to KO units to gain support points.Simply interacting with a unit nets you support points, just a lower amount, Me and @itbeajen have tried numerous units and found when you factor this in, they equal the right amount for KOs roughly. I’d say think of it as 3 Support points for a KO and one for a interaction.

Have fun ranking them up

My Kind of MariChat
  • Chat and Marinette hanging out as friends and talking about their crush struggles with each other.
  • Chat not saying who he likes, because he knows that Mari is best friends with the Ladyblog girl and he can’t risk Ladybug finding out how he feels through the Internet. How tacky!
  • Mari not saying who she likes, because she’s afraid Chat will see her love for Adrien as just a celebrity crush. Also she has a tendency to malfunction when speaking his name aloud.
  • Chat giving Mari advice about how to calm her anxiety and be more confident when talking to her crush.
  • Mari giving Chat advice about how to come across as more genuine and less flirty when talking to his crush.
  • The two being 100% oblivious.
  • The two practicing on each other and totally NOT blushing  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
  • The two encouraging and pushing each other to ask their crush out.
  • The two making a pact to do so the very next day.
  • Mari going up to Adrien at school and remaining 50% calm as she asks him out for ice cream.
  • Adrien internally screaming because he didn’t realize Mari had a crush on HIM and now he feels like a jerk.
  • “OH, uh that sounds like it’d be a lot of fun, but I can’t eat ice cream… model diet, you know?”
  • Marinette trying to recover. “Oh, right. Well, uh…what about a movie?”
  • Marinette regretting her decision the moment he says “Look Marinette-”
  • Adrien trying. “You really are an incredible girl and it means a lot to me that you’d even ask. I just- I already have feelings for someone else.”
  • Marinette accidentally blurting out, “Who? Chloe?”
  • Adrien not knowing whether to laugh or gag. “No, no, no! She uh, she doesn’t go here. You wouldn’t know her.”
  • Marinette thinking that it’s probably some gorgeous model.
  • Marinette sending only one text to Alya instead of her usual 50.
  • “He likes someone else.”
  • An akumatized villain showing up at the absolute WORST time.
  • Chat Noir noticing that his lady is off her game for some reason.
  • Ladybug noticing that Chat is making fewer puns for some reason.
  • Chat pulling her away from the press after the battle.
  • “My lady, I need to tell you something… I love you.”
  • Marinette’s gut clenching because HOW did she not realize Chat had been talking about HER and then she’s reminded of Adrien’s rejection and she’s overwhelmed by hurt and confusion and guilt and-
  • BEEP BEEP go the earrings.
  • “Chat… this isn’t a good time. I- I have to go.”
  • “Then meet me tonight on the Arc de Triomphe at 11 o’clock.”
  • Ladybug just nodding before she swings away.
  • Chat trying not to be discouraged.
  • Marinette checking her phone after she detransforms.
  • Alya: “Oh girl. I’m so sorry.”
  • Alya: “Are you okay?”
  • Alya: “I’m mandating an emergency sleepover tonight. Just you and me.”
  • Crap.
  • Marinette trying to “go to bed” early so that she can sneak out and meet with Chat.
  • Alya making her stay up because it’s a Friday night and “you promised me we’d watch Moulin Rouge”.
  • Chat somehow managing to set up a candlelit dinner on the Arc de Triomphe because he’s a hopeless romantic.
  • Chat pacing back and forth with droopy ears as it gets later and later.
  • Chat growing incredibly disheartened as he picks at the food and thinks about how he rejected Marinette only to be rejected by Ladybug.
  • Mari worrying about Chat and crying over Adrien.
  • Chat finally heading home around 1:00 AM but stopping when he sees Mari on her balcony.
  • Mari feeling awful and tearing up when she sees Chat.
  • Chat feeling awful when he sees how upset Mari is.
  • The two hugging and crying and realizing how much they hate seeing the other hurting.
  • The two trying to comfort and encourage each other.
  • Mari telling Chat how funny and brave and kind he is.
  • Chat telling Mari how talented and beautiful and endearing she is.

PLL #ENDGAME Theory

A.D = Avery Drake

It all starts at Radley - all roads lead back to Radley, Dr Cochran said he delivered “two (Cece and Spencer) of Mary’s babies” suggesting she possibly had more.

I think the night Spencer was born, a second baby was born. Veronica was outside Radley in a car while Peter was inside.

After Spencer was born, a second baby was born; one that Peter hadn’t accounted for, he couldn’t face having to deal with two children. So he pretended that just one child was born - Spencer, Spencer only escaped being left in Radley because she was born first.

The second child born was Avery - Avery Drake. We have seen her multiple times, but only once as a child. Remember the dancing girl from Spencer’s dream?

Avery spent the first part of her life in Radley, where she gets to know Cece, without realising they’re related, and Bethany Young, the three become very close friends.

Eventually, Avery shows she should be allowed out of/ runs away from Radley, the same way Cece was, however she chose not to spend her time in Rosewood. She spent her time in Courtland - where she made friends with Sara Harvey.

Avery was part of the group that Emily and Hanna met, however she was not at the meeting because she was preoccupied with Radley/the A Game.

We were told Avery was struggling with the disappearance of Sara, but she knew Sara was safe the whole time - she was worried about Bethany, after she vanished on labour day (when Mona hit her over the head and Melissa buried her alive)

Both Avery and Cece struggled with not knowing what happened to Bethany - until Mona arrived at Radley. Mona revealed to Avery about Spencer, and Avery clocks that she’s spent her life in a mental hospital while her twin had a luxury life, this is enough to drive anyone crazy.

Due to the sub-conscious guilt of deep down knowing she killed Bethany, while on her meds, Mona lies and says that it was Spencer and her friends.

That is Cece and Avery’s motives to play the game with Mona.

Mona = Black Hoodie

Cece = Redcoat

Avery = Black Widow

Sara Harvey had no reason to disguise herself, Spencer’s twin does.

Although Cece and Avery kept themselves hidden from Mona, they begun to fear she may remember them from her time at Radley and reveal them to the girls, so they stole the game off her.

Avery and Cece continued the game with the soul purpose of revenge for the girls killing Bethany.

For unknown reasons, they decided to end the game in 6x10, however, Cece agreed to take the fall for Avery so that Avery could enjoy her life free. Cece lied about her story in order to protect her, and Sarah Harvey agreed to join as she was friends with Avery and heard her story.

After Cece gave up 5 years of freedom for Avery, to then be murdered, Avery started the game again in order to avenge her death.

Avery has lost the only things she ever had; Bethany and Cece. She has nothing left to live for, and that’s why she’s ending the game, after she finds out who killed Cece - she has nothing left to lose.

A.D = Avery Drake.

ADDITIONAL CLUES:

Notice how all the liars have only one eye shown, but Spencer has two - hinting she has a twin.

The scene in which A is seen in the zoo, she matches Spencer.
