This is what happens when you put a bunch of effects together that all try to track your tone and modify it, but purposely throw a few fuzzes and octave pedals in the mix just to fuck them up. You play a note and the community of effects get together in secret, talk among themselves, then come back to you with a sound. Sometimes you play a note and get nothing at all. Sometimes they are out to lunch. It’s wild.
This easier pedal i’ve made and my first time using strip board. this is a Dwarfcraft Devices Robot Devil. I still need to connect the “Starve” control but other than that everything looks like it’s working. it’s basically a distortion and octave down in parallel with each other. the distortion uses the same IC as The Great Distortion, and the switch changes from one octave down to Two octaves down. I am also going to add a master output volume because the out voltage on this is really high.
That’s not a bass at the start but my guitar with an octave pedal. The song’s about gossip. It’s about me, Meg and the people we’re dating. The world constantly tries to dissect people, chew them up and spit them out. We get that all the time, people wanting our songs for commercials, wanting to know what the inside of Meg’s bathroom looks like.
