- You talk in your sleep and you pretty much just described to me, in extremely graphic detail, how you would kill someone and now I’m too scared to fall asleep
- (On the flip side) you made a lot of sexual noises while you slept, what (or who) were you dreaming about??
- Okay I get that ocean noises help people go to sleep but you’ve literally been playing whale mating calls at full volume for the past hour and if you don’t stop soon I’m gonna come over and smack you
- We both planned to stay up all night but you ended up falling asleep and you just woke up to me standing next to you with a bowl of warm water in my hands-I can explain
- We were both going to pull an all nighter to study for an exam tomorrow but now it’s 6 am and we just finished an entire tv series and I can’t believe you let this happen
- it’s 4 am and we’re both running solely on Red Bull and coffee at this point and we just had the most in depth discussion about eggs I swear to god
It’s past midnight, Jeremy is sitting cross legged on the hood of Michael’s car. Michael is beside him, gently admiring his presence. Jeremy is looking up. The soft wind disturbs the trees and grass around them. They’re parked on a small outcropping of land overlooking Long Beach Island. Michael drove two hours to get there, and now they’re sitting, the faint noise of the ocean, the louder noise of crickets chirping, and the gentle smell of summer nights drifting around them. Jeremy is looking at the moon, Michael can tell. Though the stars are clear, and they are completely surrounded by them, Jeremy is looking at the moon. Of course he is. Michael is watching Jeremy, despite the moon, despite the stars. Of course he is.

“So, no family in attendance this time.” Alberto opened the limousine’s back door.
There wasn’t. Louis frowned, sliding onto the backseat. It was his first film premiere without any family member there. The thought was scary, because this premiere was his most important so far.
Louis turned his head when the door was closed and saw Harry on the other side, smiling gently. His hair was tied back by a silky scarf, and he wore a maroon suit with a grey, floral print. It perfectly fit Louis’ grey suit. Lottie had even managed to pick a tie in the exact maroon colour of Harry’s suit.
“You look nice,” Harry said.
Louis swallowed thickly, clutching his hands together to keep himself from reaching out to touch Harry. His shirt was gaping open, the tattoos on his chest peeking out. Louis hadn’t had the time to properly inspect them when they had—
“Thanks,” he said, shaking the thought, the memory off. “You, too.”
The car started moving, and Harry reached out to touch Louis’ hand. His nails were painted black. “Are you nervous?”
“A little,” Louis admitted. “This one’s quite important to me.”
Harry hummed. Yeah. I get that. Hey,” he added then. Louis looked up at that, and God – he couldn’t look at Harry. He was so, so fit. “You’ve got nothing to worry about.”
Harry looked straight into Louis’ eyes, and for a moment, every single moment of them in that hotel room came back. Every second they had shared, every touch, every kiss. Louis couldn’t stand it.
“That’s lovely, L.A., but I’m not your damsel in distress.” Louis patted Harry’s hand before he withdrew his own.
Harry snorted and leaned back in his seat. “You’re definitely not.”
“I don’t need to be pampered.” Louis cleared his throat, trying to ignore the lingering warmth of Harry’s fingers on his skin. It’d be forgotten in a moment.
“Sure not,” Harry replied, looking out of the window.
“What’s that tone?” Louis raised a brow.
Harry turned back to him, an amused expression on his face. “You love being pampered.”
“Excuse you.” Louis crossed his arms in front of his chest. “What gives you that impression?”
“Spending a whole month with you.” Harry shrugged.
Louis shook his head. “You have no idea, Styles.”
“I guess, yeah.” Harry bit his bottom lip, obviously holding back a grin. “Whoever’s gonna be your boyfriend will have to be really good at pampering you.”
“You’re a cuddler,” Harry interrupted him, and suddenly, he looked much more serious. “You like to cuddle.”
Louis frowned. “How do you–” He fell silent, and bit his lip. Harry knew because they had slept with each other. They had probably only exchanged handjobs and messy kisses, but it had been sex. Two rounds. And Louis had fallen asleep on Harry.
He wasn’t the kind of person that lit a cigarette after sex and left the bed. Louis was the kind of person that held onto the warmth as long as possible. He couldn’t remember, but he had probably fallen asleep and cuddled up to Harry. How would he know? Harry had been gone in the morning.
Louis cleared his throat again. “You can’t blame me for the things I do while asleep.”
“Who said I blamed you?” Harry asked.
Louis opened his mouth, but closed it again when he realised he had no idea what to say. Harry smiled at him, knowingly, and in that typical smug way of his.
“You like being pampered yourself,” Louis said, pointing at Harry. “You like it when people take care of you, and you like your hair being played with.”
“I contemplated paying someone to do that,” Harry said, no shame in his tone. “You know? Like a personal assistant, but all they do is play with my hair.”
“Oh my God.” Louis groaned.
“Yeah, that’d be a bit diva-like, so I dismissed the idea.” Harry shrugged, looking genuinely sad about it. “It would’ve fit your image of me, though, right?”
Louis laughed. “Absolutely.”
“Sorry to disappoint,” Harry said.
The car stopped and Louis sat up, waiting for the door to be opened, so he could step out. Loud noises, an ocean of voices suddenly hit him and before he moved onto the red carpet, Louis turned around again.
“I’m not disappointed, at all,” he said, holding Harry’s gaze for a moment. “Not a single bit.”
The noise increased when Louis go out of the car. Flashlights hit him, and people yelled his name. Louis smiled and turned around, holding out his hand for Harry. Gracefully, Harry slid out of the backseat of the limousine and placed his hand in Louis’. The noise intensified even more.
“y/n? You’re still awake?” Dan’s voice asked sleepily and I mentally scolded myself. He probably heard me whispering to myself. It was nearly 2AM and I was still up with thoughts flooding my mind. This rarely happened, but on the occasion it did, I just for the life of me could not go to sleep. Worries, hopes, fears, anxieties and anything else my busy brain could possibly come up with. There was also the crippling fear that I could just mess everything up and I just ugh; I just want to sleep.
“Yeah, barely though.” I lied and pretended to yawn hoping he’d be too sleepy notice. I could deal with making myself suffer, but Dan’s sake didn’t deserve this.
“Oh okay.” He murmurs and rolling his head over.
After that, my mind continued into another crazy frenzy. I was maybe kind of stressed out and worried, so many things have been going wrong and nothing to plan. My brain would not shut up about all the bad things and if not bad, then all the others things that needed handling. I was stressing myself out yet I couldn’t even do anything, oh how I hate this.
“Go to freaking sleep y/n. Just go to sleep.” I told my worried mind frustratingly.
“Are you alright?” His soft natural voice with trickled with concern and I just shook my head, sighing disappointingly. Shoot, I said that out loud. Dan’s tall body curled right back over even closer to me.
“Sorry, I just can’t sleep.” I said exhaustedly but my thoughts still wouldn’t calm themselves.
“Oh, I’m sorry. Should’ve have told me.” He frowned as he pulled me closer to him into a hug, making me smile. He kissed my forehead softly and I sighed. At least if I had be wide awake, Dan was right beside me. His body was cool and breaths calmed, his soft hair was half straight and hair curly from the way he slept. I could feel his smooth cheek against my own, and I turned my lips over to his mouth.
“It’s okay, I didn’t want to bother you.” I said quietly after our kiss.
Sighing peacefully in his arms as we spooned, we were both both content with each other’s presence.
“You know how you like listening to water to go to sleep sometimes? Because you said it’s relaxing and soothing.” Dan’s voice asked suggestively and I nodded. I remember that memory clearly, me lying there with a waves playlist while Dan stared at me in confusion.
“Mhhmmm, it’s nice.” I chirped feeling his breath against my neck.
Dan then kissed my neck before his lips made their way back to my cheek.
A moment of nothingness followed where it just our breaths. He began to tuck a piece of hair behind my ear, his fingers were gentle and demeanor loving, as he proceeded to do something completely unexpected.
“Swwhhisshhhh–shhh-swwishh—” Dan’s voice quietly murmurs as I turn my face towards him, confused.
“What are you doing?” I say in a hilarious awe at my dork of a boyfriend.
“Shhh… it’s the ocean.” His voice says deeply due to the time of night it is.
“Whoooshhh-woosh,” his mouth continues to intimate wave sounds. There are breaths acting as clashing, gentle sounds ending in “sh”, followed along with my laughs.
“Drip-drop-click-click-clock-click-clock,” is what his sound changes to and just cringe with a big smile.
“What, is that supposed to be? Rain?” I giggle throwing my head back even more amused than before and Dan nods.
“Whoooshh–swisshhh-wooooOOsh-oh, oh, the waves are back! pshhhh—splash–oh no y/n they’re splashing all over us!” His face has the purest smile along with the kindest eyes that are lit through the dark. The breeze of his blowing breath, acting as the wind, reached my ears and tickled causing me to giggle.
“Oh no!” I roll my eyes and begin to play along whilst smiling like a little child.
“Drip-drop-drip-drop… now it’s raining too,” Dan says with false worry pretending to shake me.
I scoff and just totally lose it and laugh completely. This is what was happening right now, that this was happening right now because Dan wanted it to. He’s literally making water noises for me to sleep, how incredibly sweet yet odd and just completely hilarious could he be.
“What are you laughing so hard at?”
Dan asked looking at me and my dorky grin. Dan was willing to replicate ocean noises just to distract me so I could sleep.
“You and your wave sounds.” I say pecking him on the cheek.
“They’re great aren’t they? ” Dan states curiously with eagerness.
I nod, “Yes, incredible.”
I lay back flat in my bed and hope I can finally rest, but to my surprise the sound returns continues once again and I just put my hands to my face and cringe laughing quietly.
“Whooosh—wooo-swish.” He teases nipping at my ear and I finally turn bring myself to view his shadowed face.
Drawing my mouth closer to his and title gently, our lips collide smoothly as his thumb rubs circles on my hip.
“I love you. Thank you for being my ocean.” I say and he nods reassuringly.
“I love you, and I will be always be your ocean.” Dan says with a smirk while I try not to blush; it’s unsuccessful.
“Aw thanks. Even at 2 in the morning.” I say as I lay my head back into my pillow, filled with ease and joy. Dan chuckles at my statment and wraps his arm around me before continuing with he sounds once more. They were even more gentle and soothing because it was Dan offering his ocean sounds.
As he held me in his arms, I peacefully floated away into a relaxing sleep. There was no more stress since those were carried away by the ocean. There was only love and happiness brought to me my ocean, Dan Howell. He knew exactly what to do when my mind needed soothing and he did it delightfully. I giggle at the thought of it and wonder how I could’ve gotten so lucky?
Before I entirely drifted away in my pleasant and blissful slumber, there was a tender whisper spoken by Dan.
“You’re resting now, but I love you goodnight.”
A/N: hello! This was very very cute to write and this was requested as a drabble so hopefully it isn’t too long 😝

Pairing: Spencer Reid x Reader
Prompt: Kids walk in on Spencer and reader
Upcoming Imagine: Spencer loves the readers tattoos…
You opened your bedroom door, being careful as you closed it behind you.
“Are they asleep?” You heard Spencer ask from the bed.
“Yup, now can we resume where we left off?” You said with a smirk.
You jumped on the bed and before your eyes could adjust to the dark, Spencer pulled you closer to him, leaving hot, open mouth kisses to your neck.
“You’ve been so helpful for me today… I think you deserve a little something.” Spencer said pulling off your shirt, taking his bottom lip between his teeth when he found you weren’t wearing a bra.
He kissed a wet trail down to the valley of your breasts before taking one in his mouth, slowly rolling his tongue over your skin.
You let out a soft moan as his hands went to your waist.
You scratched at his back as he slowly started grinding his hips against yours.
The crickets from outside were a distant noise as you focused on Spencer’s touch.
Spencer sat up and took his shirt off before paying attention to your neck again.
His hands went down further until they met your waistband as he snapped it gently on your skin.
His fingers slid underneath your shorts and panties, feeling the slick folds beneath his digits.
“All for me?” He asked taking his fingers in his mouth.
You nodded, unable to make out any words as he starting kissing your stomach.
With each kiss he included more and more tongue, making you bury your hands in his hair.
“Baby that feels so…”
You shot up pulling the covers, recognizing your daughters voice.
“Uh… one second honey.” You said grabbing Spencer’s shirt off of the ground and putting it on under the blanket.
Spencer was seriously frozen still under the covers.
You had to nudge him to actually get him to come out.
“I’m coming sweetheart.” You said looking back at Spencer, who still looked like a deer in the headlights.
You picked your daughter up and carried her to your room.
“I can’t sleep.” She said as you laid her back down in the small bed.
“Why didn’t you turn on your wave maker?” You said with a smile.
The ‘wave maker’ was the ocean noise maker that your daughter listens to when she can’t sleep.
“It broken.” She said shrugging her shoulders as she pointed to the little box.
You examined it until you found the problem.
“Sweetie it’s not broken, it was just unplugged.” You said plugging it back in, sending soft wave noises throughout the room.
“Oh! Here comes Walter whale!” She said, remembering the timing when a whale sound occurs.
You mimicked the sound of the whale making your daughter giggle.
“Alright you’ve got Walter whale and wave maker can you sleep now?” You asked running your fingers through her brown hair.
She nodded and turned over, snuggling into her covers.
You turned off her lamp and headed back to your bedroom.
When you walked in Spencer leaped in fear.
“Woah it’s just me.” You said holding your hands up in defense.
“She doesn’t know right? How long was she standing there? I mean she’s only 4 she won’t understand but still I mean… she might think back in the future and tell all of her friends 'yeah I walked in on my parents’ and then we will be known as those parents who aren’t careful enough.” Spencer ranted quickly.
“Spencer… go to sleep it’s fine. I don’t think she was even there for that long.” You said nuzzling into his chest.
You could feel his rapid heartbeat below your ear.
“Shh calm down. Do I have to mother you too?” You asked giggling to yourself.
“I don’t know you seem pretty good at it. Maybe I could use a little mothering from my wife.” He said holding you tight.
“Well we don’t have a Walter whale but hopefully playing with your hair will do.”
