Hey Perry, how's the teaching gig going? Has Doof come anywhere close to recognizing you yet?

I keep a more regular schedule because of it, so I get to see my family more and still see Heinz and Vanessa every day at school. He hasn’t recognized me outright, he’s really thrown by the glasses, I think. But now that school’s about to let out for the summer and he’s been accepted back into O.W.C.A., he’ll be earning his Colors at any time and as soon as that happens, well…I can tell him everything.

Which, honestly, is a bit scary. Thanks for the ask. -P

human au where perry is phineas, ferb, and candace’s uncle that lives with them and his cover is that he has an office job at a pharmaceuticals company…like maybe that’s the official o.w.c.a. cover or maybe perry tells his family that after someone first mistook doof as a pharmacist, and it’s perry’s little inside joke with himself that he works w/ ‘pharmacists’ (and maybe the flynn-fletchers aren’t that surprised when they find out he has a secret boyfriend who wears a lab coat everyday)

The future in Phineas and Ferb as according to Phineas and Ferb

10 years in the future

-The main kids of the show are all heading off to college/university or already have established careers (Phineas’, Isabella’s and Ferb’s majors are unknown/undeclared, Buford is going to school for film, Baljeet is already a college graduate and professor)

-It can be assumed that they are all around 18 years old

-Candace is in law school it can be assumed that she is around 25 years old

-Perry is still alive and he hangs out with Doofenshmirtz regularly.

-Carl is the (assumed) head of the O.W.C.A, Major Monogram is in a better place (retired in Bora Bora that is)

-Doofenshmirtz is long retired from evil

-Phinabella and Ferbnessa are both cannon

20 years in the future

-Candace is the mother of 3 kids

-Isabella is the aunt of said children, whether she is married to Phineas and Ferb is unknown (however it is widely assumed that she would be married to Phineas because of the events of Act Your Age)

-Phineas receives an award of some sort, Ferb is at Camp David

-Stacy is the president of Uruguay

-Linda and Lawrence still own the antique store

-Phineas and Ferb are assumed to be around 30 years old at this point

-Lot’s of future technology have been invented such as flying cars, mobile homes (as in homes on actual mobiles), steel and wood fusing tools and doors that look more futuristic than present day doors.

-Perry is still alive, Doof and Perry still hang out regularly and play checkers.

He’s going good. That was one thing we wanted to set up because we have one more hour-long special that we did that’s a Doof-and-Perry-centric special…. And we had done an episode early on where Doof spent the day trying to be a good guy and fighting evil with Perry, and we felt like that was sort of wasted on an 11-minute episode. We should let him actually really try to go good and just give up evil and become a member of O.W.C.A.

So my file at O.W.C.A. might have it’s own subfolder that logs all instances of fraternization…and it may possibly be bigger than the regular file. Thanks for the ask. -P

Anything the inator could have made that I was afraid of in the real world had already happened, and I’ve been dealing with flashbacks and nightmares for almost thirty years, so a mild hallucination didn’t phase me too much. And technically I did test as fearless in O.W.C.A.’s training program. Thanks for the ask. -P

I don’t hate Peter for what happened between him and Heinz. It was…really complicated. Heinz and I had been nemeses for years when Peter came into the picture and well…him dropping me kind of hurt. So I was angry, and pretty upset in general. But we all got past it. Peter and I disagree on a lot of things, and butt heads pretty often, but I don’t hate him. Though I can’t honestly say I really like him, either.

I also see Vanessa outside of the O.W.C.A. office a lot, since she’s in the ASL class I’ve started teaching at DHS recently. Other than that, I don’t really see or interact with many of the other agents or personnel. Even so, it’s kind of starting to feel like the two halves of my life are starting to merge, with Candace being friends with both Pinky and Vanessa, Linda having classes with Charlene and Heinz teaching science at the school Candace goes to.

It’s a little weird. Thanks for the asks. -P

O.W.C.A. technically doesn’t have a policy on getting too friendly with one’s nemesis because it doesn’t ever happen. Heinz and I were kind of…unique, in that regard. It’s not technically against the rules, but it’s not exactly encouraged, either. The Major can’t really tell me not to associate with Heinz, but he does keep a very meticulous record of all interactions we have that aren’t O.W.C.A. approved, because we’re still technically on file as nemeses until Heinz’s probation is up. The log is….really big, honestly, and it keeps coming up in my performance reviews. My STRs keep fluctuating because of it. Thanks for the ask. -P

Yesterday I bought The Book of Doof: How to Find an Arch Nemesis and Other Evil Advice, another installment in the Phineas and Ferb's Guide to Life vein. It’s fantastic, and I cackled my way through it, and then this happened:

Inspiration for the Evil Soul: Stuck with a Nemesis

You probably look at Perry the Platypus and me and think it’s a match made in heaven. But it wasn’t always this way. Back in the day, O.W.C.A. assigned agents willy-nilly, with no regard for personality conflicts or basic compatibility issues … like a bad blind date!

Why, when I first met Perry the Platypus, I didn’t even know what kind of an animal he was. Who’s ever heard of a teal platypus?! And I gotta tell you, he got on my last nerve … always staring at me, judging me. You know how he is.

Well, I was ready to call it quits. I even called Major Monogram to see if I could get another nemesis assigned. Something a little less semiaquatic. But thank goodness, Francis said to give it a little more time to see if things could work themselves out. And you know what? They did!

Now I wouldn’t trade my nemesis for anyone in the world. Oh, sure, he still infuriates me and I try to eliminate him on a daily basis, but that’s just what I do.

So, if your first encounter with your mortal foe isn’t perfect, don’t despair! It gets better … usually.
