2015 was going to be my year; it was.
2016 was going to be my year; it was & still is.
2017 I’ve already claimed! I will be starting it out with nutrition coaching from Macros Lab, and my individual coach is a 2016 CrossFit Games competitor.

That being said, I am back in the MyFitnessPal world! Who’s still going strong?

GUYS today is the beginning of the last full week of 2016! how you are going to finish off the year? I’m going to treat myself, starting off w this yogurt bowl; vanilla @siggisdairy topped w @onedegreeorganics vanilla chia granola, @wholefoods organic banana + shredded coconut + cinnamon

The food we eat is so much more powerful than we realise.

It can determine the way we think and feel. It can alter how our body performs, how it looks and how it recovers. You could argue that it can make the difference between a healthy, happy, inspiring life, and one full of sickness, disease, stress and anxiety. The food we decide to eat can even impact the health of the planet we live on, and the many species of plants and animals we share our home with.

So it’s probably a good idea to make sensible choices. But that’s often much easier said than done. If it was so simple, we probably wouldn’t be facing the health crisis, and climate problems we face today.

This was really hard to post, and I still haven’t posted it on my Instagram or Facebook! Here are my results with The 21 Day Fix. This is only 21 days, guys. You can do anything for 21 days, and trust me, the habits will stay! 

This is what 9 pounds and 12.5 inches looks like.

But it’s actually so much more.

This is what “I’m-so-over-feeling-this-way” looks like. This is what waking up  just a little earlier each day to work out for 30 minutes looks like. This is what getting closer to my goal looks like. This is what “I’m-tired-of-being-nervous-at-every-costume-fitting” looks like. This is what taking some time on Sundays to meal prep looks like. This is what a new found happiness looks like.

I’m starting another round with my own group of challengers tomorrow and will be doing another one in just a few weeks. Join us! I’m so grateful for the 21 Day Fix and what it’s done for me. I’ve tried pills, fasts, liquid diets, cleanses, literally every weird thing you can think of- and I finally put in the real work to get these results. It was SO SIMPLE, guys! If I can do it, anyone can. I’m so grateful for this program, all the support I received, and the chance that I have now to coach others in their journey. Thanks beachbodyhq for helping me take my life back.

long weekend ahead means it’s time to detox to retox. this is an extremely potent (like eyes water potent) homemade detox juice. juice includes: lemon, lime, ginger, turmeric root, cayenne, cinnamon, cardamom, raw cranberry juice & apple cider vinegar…. did I forget anything? fast & drink 8 oz of this every hour for 8 hours. you’ll be feeling 💯

Me at 335 lbs, and me now. I have a ways to go, but compared to where I have come from, it’s not a big deal! I just want to be healthy and have my food under control. Thanks to a portion controlled meal plan, an awesome workout, the accountability through the group and this page, I feel like I am starting to make headway again! 

I realize that what works for me may not work for everyone, but I spent my entire life obsessed with learning about nutrition, health, different effed up diets, stuck in a binge eating disorder cycle (which I will have to work on for life) figuring out what to eat and when, etc. I still fall off track, but at least when I am ready to get back on track, I have the answers now. And I am thankful for that. When I first started on my journey, I felt SO alone in it. I didn’t have any support in my every day life. Online support SAVED me and gave me something positive to focus on during one of the darkest times of my life, and certainly the unhealthiest.

I am so grateful that I am a long way off from that before photo, and with every workout that I put in, every healthy choice I make I RUN for my life away from that before photo!!

Hey all!

So I recently hit 600 followers and I’m gauging potential interest in offering my services as a weight loss/nutrition/fitness coach or guide for people who need to lose a substantial amount of weight. I know the struggle of being 250+ pounds and having over 100 pounds to lose to even get to a reasonably healthy weight. It’s daunting and scary, and I’m sort of on the other side of it now and I’m willing to offer to help anyone who may need some help getting started or continuing on their journey. I’m not perfect and I’m not a licensed nutritionist or personal trainer – just an average person who’s lost weight, got healthier, changed my life, learned a lot along the way and would like to use what I’ve learned to help other people do the same.
