I am incredibly thankful for rest! The hip has been bugging since the half from hell but with proper rest, NSAIDs, ice, and strength exercises it is getting better!
It’s amazing what proper squats and lunges sans weight can do for a bum hip. Little strength training goes a long way in recovery. In a week or so I’ll add some weights to the daily exercise regime and increase the intensity. Soon enough this won’t be a problem but something that makes me stronger. That’s all I can ask for in life: to become stronger from a setback/injury/hiccup/whateves.
Next week I start back at CrossFit at a new box.
