now that i'm gone

That’s a whole lot of people and I thank every single one of you who are part of our adventures or just everyday life.  ❤️

incredibly specific things about Bakugou’s wardrobe that i have noticed:

  • he owns lots and lots of black/dark blue tank tops
  • loves wearing baggy pants and probably buys them all a size or two larger than necessary just so he can pull off his Look™
  • wears an incredibly bright orange belt to hold up his way too large pants so they don’t fall down around his ankles. however he still wears his pants way too low despite the belt. child is dedicated to his Look™
  • owns way too many skull/Punisher t-shirts. i’m 98% sure he still wears the same brand that he wore as a child. refuses to change looks. will buy any t-shirt as long as it’s black and has a skull on it
  • only ever wears loafers. sometimes boots. but always loafers
  • never wears socks (b/c the only time he wore them he got kidnapped. both times.)

My guys, my dudes. I don’t think we talk enough about Russel before Gorillaz.

‘Cause like? He was about 17 and he was going to a good private school and his future was looking pretty bright when suddenly a demon who’s been possessing his body for who-knows-how-long takes over completely and destroys his high school, mauling his classmates and getting him expelled, not to mention putting him in a coma for four years. Then finally the demon is exorcised from his body and he goes to a new high school to finish his education and he makes great new friends who introduce him to his life-long passion, only for all of that to be ruined by a drive-by shooting which kills all of his friends right in front of him, and on top of that the spirits of his newly dead friends all possess him. His parents, understandably freaked, send him to a totally different country to try and keep him safe and he never finishes his formal education and at 22 he’s living alone in a strange place, haunted metaphorically and physically by his past. And then who should walk into his life but Murdoc Niccals?

I think we should talk more about how having such a formative period in your life go so fucking pear-shaped could fuck a person up. I really think we should.

Kemal Gün is 70 and as of today (May 12) is on day 78 of his hunger strike and has started to lose his eyesight. He’s demanding his dead son’s body so he can give him a proper burial. His son, Murat Gün, 28, was killed as part of a raid on the extreme left group Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C) in Dersim last year. Everyday, he’s fined 227 TL for protesting in Seyit Riza square. He says: “I may lose weight and experience health problems. I may even die here. But I will neither end my hunger strike nor leave this square. I will keep staying here with my will and honor. We Kurdish people must endure all this. We have experienced torture and everything else, and we should be able to cope with this too. I will stop the protest when they give the bodies of our children even if it is a single bone.”

Camren at a Couple Therapy
  • Therapist: So let's start by-
  • Camila: I have questions for you...
  • Therapist: That's a good start. Camila go ahead.
  • Camila: Do you care?
  • Lauren: Of course I do! When I wake up all alone. And I'm thinking of your skin I remember, I remember what you told me.
  • Camila: Then why did you leave me here to burn?
  • Therapist: Okay maybe we should start with a less intense conversation. Lauren do you want to say something?
  • Lauren: She's never listening, she says it's innocent. She doesn't let me have control anymore.
  • Camila: What are you talking about? I gave you all of me. My blood, my sweat, my heart, and my tears.
  • Lauren: Well, I'm tired. I must've crossed a line, I must've lost my mind.
  • Camila: I was there Lauren, I was there, when no one was.
  • Lauren: I know. I miss the memories replaying in my head.
  • Camila: And your voice, it was the most familiar sound but it sounds so dangerous to me now.
  • Lauren: I'm sorry you have to feel that way. I miss the thought of a forever, you and me.
  • Camila: But now you're gone and I'm here. Is it my fault? How do I fix it?
  • Therapist: Time is up! What a productive session. I'll see you both next Wednesday. Great progress Camren!

 Hey, I’m back!

Finals are officially over!! These are all the flashcards I used to prepare for exams throughout the semester. I’m so glad school is over lol. Even though I still have no idea what to do with my life (career wise), I’m excited to see what the next school year brings. Senior year here I come~
