Sidon never wanted Link to see him
like this. He never wanted Link to ever be afraid of him for any reason, but in
this situation how could he not be angry. Link laid limp in Sidon’s arms. He
was covered in cuts, bruises and his own blood. Link’s eyes were flustering
trying to fight to stay conscious. Sidon was huffing, his pupils blown big and
his gills were rippling. Holding Link in his hands was the only thing that kept Sidon
from charging out of the domain and destroy every last lynel in Hyrule. How could
any being be so cruel?
think that Link was strong enough to make his way back to the domain in such a
condition. If only he didn’t run out of hearty potion, or had some food, or if
Sidon had gone with him. If Sidon had gone with Link, he could have fought off
the monsters. Link won’t have gotten so hurt; he wouldn’t have had to walk all
the way back to Zora’s Domain covered in blood and in pain. Soon Sidon’s anger
turned into regret. Why didn’t he press harder to let Link come with him? Why
did he just ask and not just go with him? His beloved was hurt because he
couldn’t been there to protect him.
on to Link tighter. His anger was now directed to himself, he felt just as
small and weak Link must feel now. He couldn’t stop his tears from streaming
down his face. He couldn’t stop the sobs escaping from his throat. Sidon
sobbing stopped when he felt Link’s small hand on his cheek. He looked down at
don’t cry.’ Link signed, he had tears building up in his eyes.
apologize, this isn’t your fault.’
is,’ Sidon sobbed, “If I had gone with you,”
maybe in the same state I am in,’ Link signed, ’that lynel wasn’t a normal
lynel. It was nearly bigger than you. You may have gotten hurt. I’m just glad I
got back to you. Now I know I’m safe.’
cried harder, “Link you are so amazing. You’re injured and all you can think is
about my own safety. I don’t deserve you.”
course I’ll think of you. I love you Sidon.’ Link signed.
you too.” Sidon tears still flowed but he wore a happy smile. “Let’s get you to
a healing pool.”
stood back up from his knees and carried Link in his arms. Sidon’s regret was now
a feeling of relief. He was relieved to have Link in his arms again. Relieved he won’t
go to bed tonight and not getting any sleep for worrying about Link getting hurt
where Sidon won’t be there to care for him.
entered the room with the healing pools. He bend down slowly and gently set
Link in the pool. Link relaxed in the water. He felt warm and safe as the magic
did healed him. Sidon sat by the edge of the pool next to Link. He looked over
Link with love and admiration. Sidon blinked way the last of his tears and
wiped the rest off his face. Link reached out to Sidon’s hand and lanced their
fingers together. He tugged on him. Sidon took the hint and sank into the
water. Link climbed into Sidon’s lap. Sidon ran his fingers threw Link’s damp hair;
his other hand took the job of taking Link’s clothes off. Link’s soaked clothes
laid out the pool now. Sidon could now watch as Link’s cuts and bruises fade
away. Link took both of his hands to hold Sidon’s face. He brushed his thumbs over
Sidon’s cheeks and brought him closer to a kiss.
never feel responsible for when I am hurt. It will never be your fault. I love you.’
let out a small chuckle, “I don’t know if I can promise that, my Link. But I can
promise to try.”
at least Sidon was always honest with him. Link kissed Sidon again.
“I’m just glad you are safe.” Sidon
Link settled again into Sidon’s
heat. He closed his eyes and felt Sidon’s steady breathing. It soothed Link to
sleep. Sidon stayed in the pool with Link long enough for all his wounds to
heal. Once Sidon no longer saw any more wounds on Link he collected Link’s clothes
and a towel. He wrapped Link up and again carried Link with care. He went to his
bedroom and laid Link on his bed; he climbed next to his beloved and wrapped his
arms around his small frame.
thank the goddess that you can be here with me now.” Sidon said. “I love you
Link. And will do everything I can do to protect you.”

Hey! Can I just say you’re an amazing writer. I was hoping you could write a Tyler Seguin Drabble about how the reader and him have their first sleepover together ( like the reader stays over at his house for the first time after attending a game ). Just something cute. Thanks in advance and what you’re doing is amazing 💕
*Hiii!! I found your request. So I might have overlooked it, I’m totally sorry but here it is! Really cuteeee and OMG pillow talk is my favorite thing in the whole world. Enjoy!:)*

You can practically hear the seconds pass by. Tic, toc, tic,
toc… like it’s some precious time slipping away from your fingers when in
reality, it’s just some precious sleep that’s running from you.
Requested by @homicidalteenagedream :Happy and reader where reader feels like she is being watched everywhere she goes or is. she confides in Gemma and Gemma tells Happy? Happy ends up staying with reader so she feels somewhat safe and it makes them start to fall for each other?
I walked into the office, and collapsed on the couch. “You look like hell baby!” Gemma looked at me worriedly.
“Gee, thanks! I closed my eyes, pinching the bridge of my nose. The door to the garage slammed open, I jumped and let out a squeal. Opening my eyes I find Tig and Gemma staring at me. “Sorry.”
Tig left the office, Gemma frowned at me. “What’s going on with you?”
“Maybe I’m just paranoid…I haven’t been sleeping well. I feel like someone is watching me.” I looked at Gemma. “At work, at home, no matter where I go…”
“Have you told Jax or Ope?”
I ran my hands through my hair and laughed. “No, because those two will stick me with a babysitter, I’m sure it’s nothing..”
“It’s obviously not nothing if it has you jumpy as hell and looking like the walking dead.”
I glanced at my watch, letting out a sigh. “I’ve got to go to work. Don’t say anything to the guys….it’s probably just my imagination!” I got up hugging her, rushing out the door.
It was almost closing time at The Salty Duck, the bar I manged and tended bar in downtown Charming. I felt it again, somebodies eyes were watching me, I looked around the bar, searching for who it may be. There were only a handful of people left, a handful of regulars, and a stranger nursing a beer in a corner booth
I signaled to Roxy the closing waitress that I was going to take out the trash. I walked out the back door, carrying three trash bags, throwing them in the dumpster in the ally.
Walking towards the door, a shadow covered my path as a figure stepped into my path. I felt the hairs on the back of my neck standing up. “What are you doing out here alone?”
“My job, what’s it to you?”
“A pretty thing like you, out here all alone…” In my hurry wanting to get the bar closed down, I had made a mistake. “Don’t you know any better?”
I recognized the voice, as the figure moved towards me, the back door swung open; Roxy appeared. “One of the guys from the club is here to see you.”
I walked into the back, my whole body shaking, I locked the back door, and leaned against it. “I need a minute.”
“You okay (Y/N)?” I just shook my head, closing my eyes.

TW: Mentions of torture
A/N: So here’s the first part of the sequel of Hell on Earth! I really wanted to cut this into two parts, but I didn’t know where to cut it, so I thought it would be best to keep this together. If you guys have any headcannons / ideas in this series that you would like to see being written, shoot me a message! I might keep adding to this series as I go.
You stood in front of the mirror, staring at your reflection. It’s been a few months since you’ve stayed with the Winchesters, and you were getting healthier. You had the same body from your time before hell, the bruises and broken bones were healed thanks to Castiel, but the scars remains. Rope burns that left its marks, and the lashes you received on your back. Your body was a canvas for the demons that tortured you, and it showed. You were just glad that there was no marks of your time in hell. Well, that was a given. Everyday you were given a new body, healed of your torture, before starting again. A shiver still reminds you of the tingling feeling you had every morning when your body was healed- just before the abuse began again.
After Ellen’s visit, the boys kept you on a more regulated diet to ensure that your body was recovering. You were no longer all skin, and bones. The colour came back to your skin, your face filled out even more, and you finally had energy to do things. It helped that Castiel came by every week to do an evaluation of your health every week. Soon enough, your body recuperated, and you had finally gotten your first period. You’ve heard enough from Ellen, Jo, and Charlie to know what to expect, and you were so glad that they warned you in advance. Before they left, they taught you the basics, and any tips they had to making the week more bearable.
It was odd to say, and the boys would never admit this, but they could not be happier and more relieved when you told them you got your first period. That whole week, they doted on you more than usual- offering to go out, and grab whatever you were craving, not that you said what you wanted. They just bought an array of selection, and told you to take whatever you wanted. The week went by pretty smoothly. The cramps wasn’t the most enjoyable thing, but after being tortured for centuries in hell, you could take a few cramps here and there. Some days, you were bedridden, not having the energy to do anything, and other times you could not sit still. Either ways, you transitioned well into the new changes happening in your body.
The first time you noticed you were out of shape was when Sam had gotten sick, and Dean was out on a hunt. You were running around the bunker trying to help the younger brother be as comfortable as he can- making him soup that Dean taught you how to make, drawing a warm bath, getting his medication, etc. The first two laps of running from the kitchen to his room was the hardest. You were out of breath, and felt lightheaded. Luckily, Sam was passed out, and didn’t see your state. He would worry too much.
After he recovered, you decided to ask him to help you. You wanted to be healthy, like him.
“Sam?” You knocked on his room, waiting to hear his response before coming in.
“Hey, Y/N. What’s up?” He placed his laptop beside him, and smiled brightly.
“I was wondering if you would teach me to be healthy?”
His eyebrows pulled in confusion. “Teach you to be healthy?”
“Yea. I want to be strong like you and Dean.” You sat on the edge of his bed, fiddling with your thumbs.
“Yea, sure thing.” His smile got even wider before he started chuckling.
“Thank God we put you on a diet early on. If Dean had his way you would be eating junk food all the time, and that would not have gone well.”
You started laughing too.
“Well, what you’re eating is fine at the moment. We’ll have to increase your calorie intake once you start exercising.”
“What kind of exercises?”
“We’ll start with the basic cardio- like running, and while I’m at it we should teach you a bit of self-defense.”
At the mention of self-defense you started to get nervous, chewing your lip, and lowering your gaze to your lap. Sam was still talking about the changes in routine when you interrupted him. “Sam?”
“Do you think I’m useless?”
“What?!” he exclaimed, shuffling closer to you. “Why would you think that?”
“It’s just… You and Dean hunt, and fight bad monsters, and I’m just here taking up your resources…. I can’t even hunt.”
“And if we had it our way, you would never have to hunt.” Sam drew you closer, putting a finger under your chin to make you look at him. “Y/N, you’re not useless. You help with research-”
“Yea, but that’s nothing compared to actually being out there, and killing those monsters. I just want to do more.”
Sam pursed his lips. “We don’t want you to do more, Y/N. It’s dangerous, and we don’t want you getting hurt.”
“But I don’t want you guys getting hurt either.”
“We grew up in this life, we’re used to it.”
“I wish it wasn’t like that,” you said sadly, putting your hand on his cheek. “You guys deserve to be happy.”
“We are happy. Meeting you was the best thing that’s happened to us.” Sam took your hand on his cheek, and kissed its palm. “So, I never want to hear you say that you’re useless again, got it? Because you’re far from useless. You’re what keeps me and Dean afloat.”
“Now, c’mere.” He pulled you on his lap, letting your feet dangled on either side of his waist, as he pressed your head on his chest. “Dean and I love you very much.”
“I love you guys too,” you mumbled against his chest. “Can I sleep with you tonight, Sam?”
“Of course.” He shifted so you were both under the blanket. “Do you want start training tomorrow?”
You nodded before yawning, cuddling to his frame.
“Okay.” He wrapped his arms around, letting your head rest on his chest as he grabbed his phone. There were a few missed texts, and calls from Dean.
The hunt is done. I should be home tomorrow by noon.
She’s not answering her phone
Sammy where the hell is Y/N???
I’m gunning it home. Should be home by morning
Sam shook his head before texting his brother back.
Y/N and I were just chatting, and she didn’t have her phone with her
Don’t drive too recklessly. We want you back in one piece
And Y/N’s sleeping with me tonight
He got an ‘Okay’ text from his brother, and placed his phone down, ready to call it a night.

You, Dean, and Sam always went to some grungy bar scene to
celebrate a successful hunt. More often than not, you ended up being the one
who quit after 3 beers to make sure you all got back to whatever motel you were
staying at safely. You thought tonight would be no different, so you sat up at
the bar, watching Dean hustle some guys at pool and Sam hitting on one of the
waitresses. She bore a striking resemblance to Jess, and you didn’t have the
heart to tear him away so you could talk about your feelings.
Dean was a flirt. He flirted with anything that had long tan
legs and a pair of boobs, which included you. But he never seemed to want to take
things further. He kissed you once, when he was shit-face drunk. It was after a
hunt gone bad, and you had gotten really hurt. A rougarou had sliced your
stomach open and if it weren’t for Dean literally holding you together until
Cas got there, you wouldn’t have made it. He pushed you away again after his
lips left yours that night, and when he never brought it up the next morning, you
figured he either didn’t remember or thought it was a mistake. So you left it
Crack interpretation of the Buddy System footage we have
AKA Buddy System as a ‘What Happens in Vegas’ AU
Rhink get drunk hitched in Vegas. Link just wanted to have a drink and a spin at the casino before he turned in for the night - but he gets annoyed by a giant, loud-mouthed Vegas Jesus at the end of the bar. He called him Vegas Jesus because of his admittedly luscious dirt blonde long hair and his beige pants. Somehow Vegas Jesus proclaiming that ‘the grumpy grandpas should be in bed by now’ and Link’s shot back that ‘discount Jesus is needed over by Elvis’ took a weird turn. That turn being hot hate sex in a room Link wasn’t entirely sure was his, laughing over nothing once they got two mini bars of alcohol in them - and then going back to the bar for more.
Neither of them are sure when they got to the chapel, but Link is pretty sure it was some time after he tried to table dance on a craps table. (He can’t remember but he thinks the only reason he didn’t is because he fell over when he tried to lift his leg up). By the they time they wake up in bed together with rings on Link still can’t remember the name of the guy next to him beyond ‘Vegas Jesus’. He remembers when he’s shown CCTV footage of their ‘wedding’ as proof afterwards though
They get ordered to live as husbands for a full month before they are allowed to annul the marriage - complete with a court-appointed room-mate to monitor. They put on a show of domestic-ness for the sake of the courts; Link grows out his mustache and Rhett tames his mane of hair in a bun. He refuses to go as far as sporting the suburban dad look Link puts on though - because he likes his valour shirts too much. They also get jobs at a robotics factory ‘cause heck, they needed the money after legal fees and the Vegas bender.
Hello world I am battling some sort of illness right now but it’s finals week and I hope I can pull through!! Chem final tomorrow at 6:30PM and I’m getting scared that I haven’t studied enough. I wanted to stay up studying tonight but I feel sick and just want to sleep.
More personal note: was away from study buddy for like, one day because we both went home and stuff. Idk why I missed him so much and seeing him again today just made me so darn happy that I forgot about my crippling dry cough (then again maybe I caught what he has because he’s been coughing…)
She lived a very beautiful life, is what a person observing their relationship would say. But behind close doors it was the opposite.
“My parents never loved me and so didn’t you.” She told Soryu one night before heading to their bed to sleep. He once again rejected her request to go out like a normal couple. His personality didn’t change as he didn’t take effect on her words.
The next morning she got ryusei ready for school. “Have fun today? Don’t miss me to much.” She teased the little boy who was all smiles as he tightly held his mom.
“Hug daddy too.” She kissed his cheeks as Soryu gave ryusei a hug.
“Will we eat dinner tonight together?” He asked Soryu who was quite shocked.
“Yes we will.”
Soryu stared at her, once ryusei was taken by inui for school. She was writing ingredients for the dinner tonight. “I’m leaving now.”
She only gave him a half smile taking the rest of the laundry to the other room.
Later that day Soryu was at the penthouse when eisuke popped the question.
“How’s your little arranged marriage of yours?” He smirked sipping his coffee.
“Poor girl. She forced to marry a man with no interest and even had to bore him a kid.” Baba sighed quite concerned as he looked out to the city.
“Are y'all making me feel bad?” Soryu asked irritated.
“Now, now. We are just teasing.” Eisuke laughed.
That night Soryu came home early for ryusei request and she was already preparing the table as ryusei was watching tv.
“Oh daddy’s home!” He cheered as he took his seat as Soryu took his too. “Oo Korean food!” The boy smiled as he took his chopsticks.
She helped Soryu with the side dishes. “I figure we eat something else than omelette for once.”
Ryusei study his parents behavior but never said anything. “Can we sleep together tonight?” He asked his two parents who ate silently and never talked much only when he was around.
“Yeah, that’s fine.” She smiled at him as she was truly happy too sleep as a family.
That night when ryusei was asleep, she said to Soryu. “I’ll leave to the other room now.” Soryu turned to face her. “He will find out.”
“It’s not like he doesn’t know, he’s caught us sleep in different rooms before. I’ll just wake up before him so he doesn’t know.” She tiredly said and slowly got out of bed, before she could leave any further Soryu took her wrist and pulled her back on the bed.
“Sleep, it’s late.” He said hugging the two in his arms.
The next morning he left to work early and ryusei went to school already. She went to her own room the one that her and Soryu didn’t share. She was secretly packing slowly and leaving her luggage hidden in the closet.
Her parents were also from the mafia but aside from that she didn’t want that life, she took half their money when married to Soryu as he took the rest.
She kept the money on her own separate card.
One day in the weekend ryusei ran into her quietly taking more clothes and putting it in a cardboard box.
“Mom? What are you doing?”
She quickly slammed the closet and sat ryusei on the bed. “Shh, don’t tell daddy.”
“Are you trying to leave us?” He asked softly as small tears fell down. She cupped his faced and swallowed.
“Please listen to me, I know it’s hard for you to understand at this age but, yes I am trying to leave. Me and your daddy. Don’t love each other. We were set to marry each other. I know as a kid you want your parents to be together but please understand me and I can’t live in here anymore.”
She paused and continued
“Your dad, doesn’t want me. Your still young and it doesn’t sound horrible at all but when your older you want someone to kiss and hug, to talk about their dreams and achievements but I don’t have that and Soryu won’t ever tell me he loves me.
I’m hurting inside and out. Your all I have and I want the best for you. You must stay with Soryu, he can support you best -”
Ryusei was still in her arms crying as he said.
“But you do love daddy, I see you every morning making him lunch and you stare at him with loving eyes. You even secretly kiss him at night when he sleep. I know daddy loves you!” He pleaded grabbing onto her so she wouldn’t leave.
“I’m not leaving. I’m still here.” She soothed him rubbing his back.
Later that night when ryusei was fast asleep she was already in bed that her and Soryu shared. He came home late again.
“Do you still want me?” He heard her say as he slowly kiss her cheek.
“We have no choice.”
She turned to face him.
“Yes you did, I didn’t have a choice! You had a choice to marry me and take over my dads work and merge the ice dragons with my family and you did, but you didn’t have too!
Even if you said no the ice dragon would still be powerful. You became to tempted and took the opportunity. Then there was me, I was the burden that came with it. My parents never loved me and always sended me to marry men random in all ages. All I want from this marriage is to be loved and even you can’t do it.”
She stressed as Soryu softly just hugged her.
The next morning ryusei went to see Soryu in bed. “Daddy~ wake up!” He pouted jumping on Soryu.
Soryu smiled softly playing with ryusei flipping him over.
“Daddy, can i tell you secret?” He softly asked after. “What’s wrong? Did someone hurt you?”
“No but, yesterday I saw mommy trying to leave.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, mo-mommy had her clothes packed and was going to leave. Sh-she was going to-” ryusei sobbed and hugged his dad tightly.
Soryu worriedly gave his son a tight hug. Ryusei seemed really bother by the problem he was shaking.
He then ordered inui and samejima to take ryusei out for a while.
Once she got home from shopping, she noticed that her room was open and so were all her luggages. She dropped her bags and ran over to it.
“I did. Why are you trying to leave?”
Soryu came from behind and slowly led her to the bed.
“Please stop. Your only doing this for ryusei and not us, but I can’t live here anymore. If I could I would take ryusei and run away but you need a new generation to take over the ice dragons, so I can’t.”
Soryu sighed and looked at all her luggages. “You packed all this behind my back?”
She nodded as tears slipped from her eyes. “My chest hurts whenever you turn away from me or when I see other people give affection to their lovers. And I wonder why I never experienced love from anyone but my son. Soryu, I know you don’t want to be with me, just let me go?” She begged him tightly holding his arms.
Soryu then remembered the words baba said as he soon felt guilty for turning her love away all these years. She was secretly hurting and heart ache was taking her over. His chest started to harden and hurt as he grabbed it.
“I’m sorry (your name) I’ve been selfish and greedy till the very end, but don’t leave. I can’t do anything without you here. I’m to stubborn and was blinded by myself, I realized that you were a big part of my life. I can’t take care of ryusei myself. I can’t help him with homework or housework. I promise to make it up to you. I’ll give you kisses every morning. Buy you your favorite flowers and we can even go on dates.” He said holding her close to his chest. His breathing becoming irregular.
“I promise, please don’t leave yet. If you still want to leave after I do this for you. Then your free to go, but right now give me a chance to love you.”
She softly looked up to him and nodded. He smiled to her and wiped her tears. He gently caressed her face and kissed her passionately. Letting all the emotions take over. Soryu slowly pulled her under him as he went on top.
“I promise. To make things better for us. I love you.”
As they say, you only cherish, realize and love when someone important is gone.
“Listen, I have already told the other Agent that I didn’t do anything. C'mon Agent Morgan, how could I kill four men? I wouldn’t even know how to start to plan it.” you said tired.
It was about seven hours that they stopped you as the main suspect of four murders and you’ve been sitting in that room since you got there.
You were a doctor, a respectable one and you couldn’t believe about what was happening.
You were supposed to save lives, not the opposite.
Another couple of hours passed and finally someone else came in the room.
He was good-looking, tall and his hair was all messy.
“Hi Doctor (y/l/n). May I sit?” he asked kindly.
“Of course. After all, you are the agent here. You can do whatever you want.”
You cocked your brows giving him a strange look.
“What you said?”
“I am a doctor. Doctor Spencer Reid with the FBI, nice to meet you.”
He gave you his most wonderful smile. Why was he so kind with you? You were a suspect, someone everyone would had doubts about.
“Nice to meet you too. If you are here to ask me something, I already told your colleagues…”
“No, I am not here for this. It’s just you’ve been here for hours and I was wondering if you were hungry. Do you want me to buy you something to it?”
“You would do that?”
“Of course. So what do you want?”
Half an hour later he came back with a pair of fast-food hamburger and a bottle of water.
It was kind of him, treat you as a human and not as a killer.
Practically a you stayed in that room for an entire day when that kind doctor came to you again.
“You can go home, Doctor. The real UnSub killed again tonight, same modus operandi. You’re free.”
“Even if I happy to go out of here” you said breathing “I am sorry that someone had to die to prove you wrong about me. I hope you’ll catch him soon.”
“Yes, I hope this too.”
You went of of that building, happy to breathing fresh air again. A suspect. You laughed again at that word.
‘It is better to get home right now. I need to sleep.’ you thought.
Seven steps. Seven like the letters of the word ‘suspect’. Seven second to realize that something was on your stomach. Something that was hurting you. You looked up and that person was staring in your eyes.
“You didn’t have to take my credits.”
Surgeons were operating you. You had lost too much blood and they were praying God to be able to save you.
Even the FBI was called to be informed about what happened and Spencer immediately ran to the hospital.
He asked how the surgical intervention was going on, but he received a few replies. And they were not good.
He felt guilty because he offered you to walk you home, but you declined it kindly.
Some time later Hotchner called him.
“How is she going?”
“The last time I asked, she was not good. I will be there waiting for her.”
And he did. When you opened your eyes again he was talking in front of you to the doctor.
“Hey.” you blurted out.
“(Y/n), hi.” Spencer smiled grateful.
“Can you remind me what happened?”
He explained you and he told you that because of you they would be able to catch the UnSub. You were not a victim of his so he did a mistake.
You were happy about it, but then the surgeon told you how the intervention went. It was all good, you were a fighter, but a problem came out.
Babies. You lost at 99% the ability to get pregnant.
“I am sorry about it Miss.”
“Don’t worry, it is not a big deal for me. I am a doctor, plus I was not made to be a mom. With my job it wouldn’t be easy.”
He smiled and left the room. Spencer was still there. He listened to all the talk.
“You sure you’re ok with this? I mean, usually women want babies in their life and…”
“I am really sure about it. The, if I change mind I can always adopt an orphan or a baby who needs help.”
You could see that beautiful smile again. It made you feel a strange way.
“Doctor Reid, I was thinking… maybe, when I will be able to get out of this hospital… would you like to have a coffee with me sometime?”
“I would really love to.”
Four years later you were sitting in the coffee shop where you went on your first date. It was a magical place for you and you loved to go there with him.
Four years were a lot.
‘Did I have to get involved in a case to meet my husband?’ you thought looking at him from the opposite side of the table.
Then, after your coffee, you decided to go home, hand in hand.
You wanted it to be a quiet evening because he had just came home from a long case and all you wanted to do was cuddling under the sheets of your shared bedroom.
“I am going to the bathroom to remove my make-up. Ok Spence?”
“Ok, I’ll be waiting for you in the bed darling.”
But to remove your make-up was not the only thing you did that evening.
You took out from you bag a little box and then you put out that little stick that you were about to pee on.
You knew that the possibilities we very very low. In fact it it was 1%. But you missed your period and you started to feel sick.
Ten minutes later you were still in the bathroom and Spencer, worried, came in.
“Are you ok darling?”
You looked at him and he could see your teary eyes.
“What’s wrong? Are you hurt?” he said walking toward you and taking your face in his hands.
“No Spence, I am not hurt at all. Look at it.”
You handed him the pregnancy test and when he looked at the two lines, his eyes went immediately to your stomach.
“Sure? Is there my baby inside there?” he said whispering.
“There is our baby here. Spencer, I can’t explain it. I… do you remember when four years ago I said that I didn’t want to have children?”
“What? Do you want to abort?!”
Now in his eyes were forming more tears, but not because of happiness anymore, but because he was scared.
“What?! No babe, I don’t want to abort our baby! We’ve been waiting for this little creature for years and now you think I want to kill it?”
“So you want to be mother of my child?”
“Just because I want you to be father of my child. We’re going to be parents.”
you think it’s time to stop, Mikuni?” JeJe knew that speaking with Mikuni was
pointless but he couldn’t hold his tongue anymore. Mikuni looked deathly and he
had heavy bags under his eyes. For the past couple nights, he poured over
documents he stole from the C3 and hadn’t slept. “Rest. You can finish this
to care about little old me? That’s cute. I wonder what kind of expression you’re
making under there.” Mikuni threw a crumpled piece of paper at his paper bag
but he missed miserably. He clicked his tongue because he knew that he only
proved JeJe’s point. JeJe didn’t say anything further but Mikuni could imagine
the glare he most likely had beneath his bag.
sleep after I find out what they’re planning. I’m close so I’ll be able to go
to bed tonight. Happy now?”
wasn’t. He knew Mikuni too well to believe him. Once he discovered their plan,
he would go on to make a counterplan which entailed more sleepless nights. They
both knew that he would make himself sick if he continued but only one of them seemed
to care. “Mikuni—”
you just drop it?” Mikuni asked, frustrated. Usually, he was better at hiding
his feelings but the sleepless nights were taking their toll on him. He forced
a smile onto his face. “If you’re worried about my health, make some tea for
Abel and me. Oolong, loose not bagged, steeped three minutes, with 2% milk and
one teaspoon of raw sugar. Only the best for my Abel.”
I use the good tea set?” JeJe asked sarcastically. He had long ago decided that
playing along with Mikuni was easier than correcting him. At least, he was
taking a break. He stopped at the mirror and glanced at Mikuni over his
asks a lot of pointless questions, doesn’t he Abel? He should know how to make
you tea just the way you like by now.” Mikuni played with Abel sitting on his
desk. While he was smiling, it didn’t reach his eyes and JeJe couldn’t remember
the last time he saw Mikuni truly smile. JeJe turned away and went to the
kitchen to make tea.
he set the kettle on the stove, he heard the door open behind him. He turned and
saw Mikuni slump onto the table. Mikuni could feel JeJe’s curious eyes on him
and explained. “Distance limit. Just hurry up with that tea so I can go back.”
kept the documents locked away in his secret backroom which was on the floor below
them. He wanted to continue reading the files but he couldn’t stand the
stabbing loneliness he felt whenever they were apart. The pain only reminded
him that he was the Eve of Envy and how he gained the title. To this day, he
didn’t know if he hated that title or not.
turned off the stove and Mikuni was expecting him to argue with him. Instead,
he walked to the stairs wordlessly. “Where are you going?”
going to your room and you’re going to follow me. You’re going to sleep.” JeJe
said simply and Mikuni laughed. He knew that JeJe was planning to use their
distance limitation to force him to rest. His plan was so transparent that
Mikuni saw through it easily. The only thing he couldn’t guess was why JeJe
cared enough about his health to risk angering his Eve.
JeJe dear, you think you can order me about?” Mikuni threw him a cold smile
that dared him to continue. JeJe took another step up the stairs and his smile
fell. “Your plan won’t work. The distance limitation works both ways, remember?
I’m going to sit right here and you’re going to come running back down those
stairs. I won’t let you drink blood if you take another step.”
never let me drink anyways.” JeJe rolled his eyes at the threat and walked up
the stairs. He ignored the curses Mikuni sent after him and continued walking. The
man had to be the most difficult Eve he had but he promised to take care of him
the night they met in the attic.
looked up the stairs and a consuming sense of dread loomed over him. His
shoulders became tense when he remembered the lonely attic he stayed in once. He
couldn’t climb to the top because taking a step away from Mikuni was difficult
so he sat down. He knew the silence of solitude all too well and how lonely it
was. That was why he didn’t hate Mikuni’s childish antics despite how
irritating they were sometimes.
gritted his teethes against the pain and buried his face into his knees. Why
did he have to have such a difficult man child for an Eve? Even though the thought
passed his mind, another thought overpowered it. JeJe missed Mikuni. Considering
their complicated relationship, he missed him more than he thought he could.
walked up and down the steps. He missed Mikuni but he knew that he couldn’t
give in or else he would continue to work until he passed out. It happened before
and JeJe worried about him. So, he endured the pain as best as he could even as
his body screamed for him to return to the kitchen.
listened to JeJe’s frantic footsteps but then he realized the constant tapping
was really him. His foot was impatiently knocking on the hardwood floor. He let
out a frustrated breath and looked at the staircase. Why was JeJe being so
stubborn? It wasn’t like he cared about him. He took everything from him.
But he was also there
when no one else was,
a voice reminded him.
could’ve told him no when he asked him to help kill his mother but he helped
him save Misono. Like Lawless, he could’ve easily killed Mikuni to rid himself of
his Eve but he protected him instead. Even when he was at his worst, JeJe
stayed next to him.
JeJe wasn’t beside him and he felt alone for the first time since they made
their contract. Something warm fell onto his hand and Mikuni realized that he
was crying. He tried to wipe away his tears but they fell faster than he could
catch them. Mikuni stood so quickly that his chair fell backwards.
JeJe, you win this round.” Mikuni whispered and raced up the stairs. He almost
crashed into JeJe who was running down the steps. JeJe quickly hugged him and
caught the rail to stop them from falling. But even after they regained their
balance, he didn’t let Mikuni go. How could he when Mikuni was clinging to him
like a lost child?
was a grown man now but JeJe still remembered the curious boy who played with
him in the attic and wanted nothing more than to protect his brother. He didn’t
know when that boy became so lost but he would still protect him. JeJe gently
tapped his hat and asked, “You’re not going to make me carry you to your room,
not a child.” Mikuni frowned up at him and JeJe rolled his eyes. He nudged
Mikuni up the stairs and he was glad when he didn’t fight him. But he did throw
a quip at him over his shoulder. “Just so you know, I’m going to punish you for
this little stunt. No blood for a week and you’re never allowed to leave my
side ever again. So, you’re going to join Abel and me for our tea parties from
like to headcanon that JeJe and Mikuni talked a lot before the whole incident
so Mikuni felt like he could go to JeJe and convince him to kill his mother.
How are you up in heaven? I hope you’re doing fine. I know you’re watching me from above and don’t worry about me. I can take care of myself. Oh! I had a lot of fun today. I brought Natsu into our super secret place! (I hope you’re not angry, Mama. But Natsu is special to me. He’s my bestest friend ever! I’m sorry for not asking for permission.) He thought I was kidnapping him. Hah! The nerve… (but I kinda did because I climbed onto his window and grabbed his scarf to drag him with me… Shh, don’t tell anyone, Mama!)
Anyway! He was amazed when I finally showed him the skies that we loved, Mama! He agreed that it was very beautiful. I can’t blame him because it’s the most beautiful thing ever!
We laid down in the grass and I showed him the constellations. Oh, Leo was around so I was able to point that to him. The other stars were shining brightly, too! It’s like they were happy to see us! They were harmoniously twinkling as if there was a celebration in the sky. I wonder if they do have parties in the skies. Ah, since you’re in heaven, maybe you could attend those parties, Mama?
Oh, back to Natsu. Uhm… we kinda fell asleep while watching the stars. Good thing he woke up! We went back home and Father was waiting for me. I thought he was going to scold me and shoo Natsu away but I was… shocked. He hugged me and he told me that he was worried about me. He called Natsu’s parents and told them that Natsu would be staying with us for the night. I was so happy, Mama!
And oh, did you know? Father smiled at me! I almost cried at that moment. But I held it in until Natsu and I were alone. It was the first smile that he gave me after these years… I’m just so happy. Since there’s no school tomorrow, he promised us that he will take us to the beach! He also told me that Wendy, Natsu’s little sister, can go, too! Natsu and I were so excited! I’m not sure if we’re gonna have some sleep tonight but it’ll be fun!
My Papa… is back.
And Natsu is here as my bestest friend ever.
Plue gives me comfort and joy.
My life is complete.
I hope you’re happy, Mama. We’re still hanging on.
Sorry Mama, I need to go now. Natsu might be hogging all of the bed space if I don’t do anything about it.
I love you!

Summary: You have been with the Avengers for three years and during that time you have developed a close friendship with Bucky. When you discover another woman in Bucky’s room you begin to question what your true feelings for him are.
Author’s Notes: I edited and edited and edited this as my ideas for the story progressed. It’s a pivotal moment between Bucky and the Narrator.. I ALWAYS love hearing from you guys so let me know what you think. Tags are at the bottom. Let me know if you would like to be tagged/untagged.
The following weeks began to fall into a routine. Bucky and
Steve were mainly gone on missions. No one would talk about what they were
actually doing, and they didn’t seem overly willing to give any information to
the group. Bucky was particularly mercurial which wasn’t anything new – usually
I would confront him about it and snap him out of it, but I felt like his kiss
and subsequent behavior put me at a disadvantage, and I spent most of my time
actively trying to avoid being alone with him. I was exasperated and more than
ever I felt completely alone. What made the situation even worse was the fact
that Steve wouldn’t look me in the eyes which told me more than I ever needed
One night I awoke screaming out, drenched in sweat, and
trembling. “Ms. Y/N is there a way I can assist you?” F.R.I.D.A.Y.’s voice
permeated the darkness in my room. Tony had programmed F.R.I.D.A.Y. to respond
to any type of distress – he said it was for the safety of the team in case a
situation ever happened, but I knew it was really his way of looking out for
me. In many ways we were alike – we struggled silently with our demons.
“Just find me something that will comfort me, please,” I
responded to the bodiless voice.
“Waking Sargent Barnes,” F.R.I.D.A.Y. responded. Before I
could protest I could already hear Bucky walking down the hallway and opening
“Y/N?” he asked hesitantly as my bed shifted under his
“I’m afraid F.R.I.D.A.Y takes my sarcasm seriously,” I
replied meekly as I peeked at him through my eyelashes. “I’m okay… you should
go back to bed.” It was quite apparent that I was not okay, but I still put on
my best stubborn front.
“No,” he replied softly as he moved the covers to slide
under them. I could immediately feel his warmth around me and it silenced my
protests. My iciness towards him melted as he wrapped his arms around me. It
was like being home when we had these moments, but now part of me tried to
actively resist the comfort he provided. My subconscious was trying its
damnedest to keep me from suffering further. I looked at him and realized I
hadn’t noticed how tired and strained his face had looked since we had last
spent time together. “Do you want to talk about it?” he asked through my hair.
I gritted my teeth. “No,” I replied stubbornly.
He snorted into my ear. “Why do you have to be so stubborn?”
At this my anger peaked and I managed to squirm out of his embrace.
“Me? Stubborn?… You kissed me, and then you disappeared on
me. Why…why would you do that? If you thought it was a mistake… you should have
just told me. Don’t throw away the friendship we have. I know you’ve talked to
Steve about something… he won’t even look at me. Now I have Tony taking time to
program F.R.I.D.A.Y. to take care of me…” I broke off with an angry huff.
Bucky paused and looked at me earnestly, “I’m sorry… I..” he
stopped. He looked pained— like he was torn between wanting to tell me the
truth and wanting to stay away.
“What is it that you’re not telling me?” I asked trying to
keep my voice even.
He looked away from me and began running his hands through
his hair. “I was so fucking terrified Y/N.”
“Terrified of what?” I asked impatiently.
“Of losing you,” he said pinning me under his gaze. His eyes
showed so many emotions. Pain, urgency, sadness, and a desire to say all the
things he had held back from me. “I’ve lost everything in my life that ever
mattered. HYDRA took away my life, my choices, and everyone I ever cared about.
My parents died thinking that their son died a war hero… when I was turned into
a monster…. And then Steve found me and brought me back from the edge. He brought
me here against my better judgment and I thought to myself that maybe this wouldn’t
work…. maybe I’m always going to be a monster, and then you show up and you’re
so perfectly imperfect… and you see me not as a monster… not as what I am
capable of… not as a machine or a weapon. You see me. Just me.” He paused as I
stared at him dumbfounded. “I knew you were mad at me the night that you got
back from the party with Tony…. That’s why I tried to take care of you from a
distance…” he broke off.
“That was you?” my voice came out more like a whisper. I was
still processing all the things he had just confessed to me. The suddenness of
his honesty made me feel dizzy. “The mission?” I asked. My thoughts were in
fragments and I was finding it increasingly difficult to form words.
He diverted his eyes from me and his whole body tensed. “I
can’t tell you doll. I’m sorry. I truly am. But it’s for your own good that you
don’t know…” he trailed off.
“You get that I don’t need you to protect me from the world,
right Buck?” Even as I was saying it I realized it was much harsher than I
meant for it to be.
Bucky flinched at my words but found his resolve and looked
up at me. “I am perfectly aware that you can take care of yourself. It doesn’t
mean you should have to all the time,” he said through his teeth. I could tell
his emotions were teetering on the edge of anger. “Some battles aren’t yours to
face, Y/N. You’re too busy carrying everyone else’s burdens to even have a
second of joy. And more than anything I want to give you joy. For the first
time since I fell off that train… since HYDRA… you’ve given it to me,” he continued with such
urgency and emotion that I was afraid his metal hand would crush the headboard
it was now clenching. He paused for a moment and finally whispered, “I care
about you, and it scares me. It scares me for you because everything good that
I touch turns to shit.”
“It was about you…” I responded quietly – looking at my
upturned palms. Bucky looked at me – shocked out of his thoughtful monologue.
“What?” he said puzzled at first and then realization spread
across his face.
“I dreamt that we were happy and you walked away from me… or
you were ripped away… The dream varies each time I have it,” the words were
bitter on my tongue. This particular nightmare had been playing on loop for
days. Every night I had him ripped from me by unknown forces that I couldn’t
control or fight. It was my own personal hell. It insured that I always woke up
with a broken heart. “And it was like my heart had been ripped from my body…” I
paused, looking up at him. My words came out as a small whisper, “I know you
think you need me James, but what you don’t know is how much I need you. I know
I have the others… but without you I don’t feel like I belong here. You were
there when the others weren’t. You’re the only one that knows the things I
love. You’re the only one that knows the things I fear, or how my past still haunts
He was hesitant. It was one of the few times I had seen
actual fear on his face. My fingers ached to touch him as I relaxed back into
his embrace. His hold on me tightened at I traced his jaw with my finger
lightly. This time it was my turn to take him by surprise. I couldn’t hold
myself back – not after we had both laid our truths bare in front of the other.
His answering kiss was reluctant at first – he was trying so desperately to
hold himself back – to grasp his last shred of self-control. Slowly his resolve
melted as I twisted my fingers in his hair and pulled him closer. His hands
travelled down my body erupting every nerve as they went. Suddenly his self-control snapped back into
place and he broke away from the kiss – leaving us both breathless. He grinned
at me shyly and pulled back slightly with an admiring look on his face. “So do
you forgive me?” he asked – the humor fading from his face.
“You have to promise me something first,” I said.
“What would that be, doll?” he asked with a spark of triumph
in his eyes. His revelation to me seemed to have lifted an invisible burden
“You promise me, James Buchanan Barnes, that we’ll always be
honest to each other. The only way you will ever lose me is if you push me
His face lit up into a dazzling smile – the kind that made
the corners of his eyes crinkle. “I think that’s certainly a promise I can
keep. Will you promise me something in return?” he asked hesitantly.
“Promise me you’ll be patient with me. Promise me you won’t
leave,” his voice was sweet – like a child making his parents pinky swear there
wasn’t a monster under his bed.
“I promise,” I replied and kissed him softly.
“Now… speaking of patience… let’s maybe just use this bed
for sleep tonight,” he sighed as he snuggled closer to me.
“Whatever you say James.” I snuggled into his arms sleepily
as he sighed with contentment. I felt a cautious happiness rise inside of me. I
knew I was treading on dangerous ground, but for the time being we were both
happy and I had him back. I wasn’t about to throw myself into worrying about
the future – not yet at least. I yawned and slowly drifted back to sleep.
God I wish I had
worried about the future.
