  • Description: “It’s likely that this person is not one person but a mix of two or more people. It’s not uncommon for someone in your dreams to actual be a combination of more than one person you know in real life. I think your affection for this guy might’ve just given him a ticket to merge with whatever person or people you’ve consistently dreamt of for most of your life” Taehyung explains.

“Hobi, thank you so much for driving me, I am so nervous right now,” You wipe your clammy hands on your thighs as you sit in the passenger’s seat of Hoseok’s car. You were so glad he offered to drive you to Dr. Jeon’s lab because you would be running late otherwise, and being late on the first day would be a horrible way to start off and not to mention leave the most undesirable lasting impression.

“Hey, no prob, I wanted to meet this guy anyways” Hoseok says, head still turn towards the road in front. He was wearing his sunglasses, so you could only see the upward curve of his lips as he grins.

Traffic wasn’t too bad since most people were already at work around 10 in the morning.

When the two of you arrive, you see that it was a huge hospital building that looked very new and modern, with parts of the walls made of glass. The windows reflected the bright sunlight, and there were potted flowers and other shrubs near the main entrance. A round fountain with an abstract design was flowing with shallow water, and people were walking in and out of the automatic revolving door. It definitely seemed like a busy place.

Concert - CH

Y/N Pov

“Y/N Hurry up!” my Best friend (Name) shouted. “We’re gunna be late!”

“Coming” I replied, sighing, she wanted to go see this new band she liked, I however, was more content in just chilling at home, put on a movie and eating pizza and popcorn, maybe writing a new song with my guitar; before going to bed.

Y/B/F/N however, liked to go out, get drunk, have fun, socialise etc, how or why we’re friends is beyond me, we’re mostly different, some differences are good though, we have completely different tastes in men, but the same taste in alcohol which is always a bonus.

Alexis Ren's Collaboration With ColourPop Marks a Major Change in Her Life

“I felt like I was trying to keep up an image that I didn’t necessarily feel like was me anymore.”

When news dropped that Alexis Ren would be collaborating with ColourPop on a makeup collection, I was equal parts excited and confused. A quick scroll through the model’s Instagram proves that the natural beauty rarely wears makeup, partly because she doesn’t need it and partly because she lives most of her life on the beach in a bikini. But a closer inspection of the collection revealed it’s hardly your run-of-the-mill influencer beauty collab — no rainbow glitter in sight nor any eye products at all. Instead, Alexis’s collection is simple and streamlined: one bronzer and highlighter duo palette, three lip stain shades, and two liquid lipsticks.

“The bronzer was an obvious duh,” Alexis told me, alluding to her year-round sun-kissed glow she’s known for having. “Pretty much the only thing I wear is either a little bit of concealer or a bronzer, and that’s it. And highlighter, of course.”

Even the lip shades, mostly nudes with a few pops of red, made sense the more she explained her thinking behind the products. ColourPop chose Alexis to help introduce their new Blotted Lip formulas, which have a sheer finish that you can wear as a tint on your lips or on your cheeks as a stain. “You know after a long day at the beach, you come home, and your cheeks are flushed, and you look really happy? That’s kind of what I was going for,” she said.

Alexis knows that feeling far too well. Ever since she started modeling full-time at 14, she’s been the poster girl for California beach life. But the now-20-year-old is intentionally heading in a new, slightly surprising direction with her life, look, and career.
“I hate being categorized,” Alexis explained. “I’m starting to love the idea of wearing makeup and going out and going to events as opposed to just being barefoot on the beach all the time. Don’t get me wrong, I love both. But now I’m just mixing it up.” Alexis added that in the last six months, she’s been trying to shift toward a more “adult” and “sophisticated” aesthetic, and decided a makeup collaboration was her best intro to that world.

If you follow Alexis, it’s obvious she’s has been going through a transitional phase in her life and a reinvention of sorts for the last few months. In October, she dyed her signature blonde hair a dark brown shade, something she says makes her feel more woman-like and sultry.

“It was just this moment where I was like, I want to change,” she said, “I want to grow up. I want to become that woman I’ve aspired to be and going dark just felt right to me. I always associate blonde with sunshine and puppies and happiness, but I don’t think sexiness. You can be sexy blonde, but as far as that dark kind of sexiness with tan skin and tattoos, that to me is another level and where I’m heading actually. I eventually want to try to go black just for fun. I don’t think that people should be confined to any particular aesthetic.”

Alexis credits part of this experimental phase to being 20 years old, the ideal time in her life to try new things, and part to something else a little more complicated. The hair dyeing followed after months of rumors that her famously public, two-year relationship with Jay Alvarrez had ended — months that Alexis says she spent retreating from social media to find herself.
“People change and you evolve,” she told me. “I felt like I was trying to keep up an image that I didn’t necessarily feel like was me anymore. I was like, Should I just be with myself? Get off social media for a little bit, understand where I want to go with not even my career but who I am as a person? So I took that route. That’s why I’ve been very picky with my choice of posts and who I want to be on social media. I wanted to show people who I am but first I had to find that. That’s why I’m [collaborating] with ColourPop. It’s the start of what is yet to come with my new essence.”

While Alexis has always shown her sexy side on Instagram and still continues to do so, in addition to that, her recent photos show a more serious, mature side to the model. Because I was wondering this myself, and you might be too, I asked her to explain in her own words what exactly happened to spark this rebranding.
“When people in your life have good intentions and then suddenly don’t have good intentions, and you get your heart broken, you have to learn and reflect off of that and ask yourself, Where did I go wrong?” she said. “Like, How did I let myself get treated like that?”
The person in question, although not explicitly mentioned by name, is obvious.
“I don’t want to go too into detail, but something happened with a person, and it made me be like, Whoa, how did I let this person treat me like that?” she explained. “It really just — I got my heart broken and I was like, OK, wow, I need to just step back and take my power back. So for the last six months, I’ve had to really do a lot of reflecting and a lot of soul-searching.”

Alexis assured me that her social media reinvention won’t have an effect on the tight relationship she has with her followers. Instead, they’ll see a different, more intimate side of her. She shares a story about the night before when she and her friends hung out on a rooftop doing basically nothing, livestreaming it while 20,000 of her fans watched. “I’m not jumping off of anything. I’m not doing extreme sports. I’m just being me,” she said. In case you didn’t catch that, that’s a casual reference to the viral travel YouTube videos that made her and her ex as a couple a thing.

Before the interview ended, I asked her what question she gets asked often by followers, or by people interviewing her, that she’s tired of answering. She laughed before giving her most candid response yet”

“They need to stop asking if me and Jay Alvarrez are together because obviously as you can see from his social media, we’re not,” she said. “That would be a nice question to get over. I’m working on my career now, I’m doing me now, and I’m excited, and that’s something that I don’t want to think about. I want to think about myself! And I’m excited to think about myself, and I’m excited to show people who I am.”

Steve Rogers x HYDRA Agent! Reader

Request:  Omg I love your writing! I’m totally obsessed with the whole soulmates concept where when you meet your soulmate you see color for the fist time or something and I was wondering if you could pretty please do a one shot with Steve? Maybe something along the lines of the fact that his soulmate, the reader, is an assassin who works for HYDRA. I feel like it will put a cool twist on things. But a happy ending please I can’t handle sad endings. Thanks so much love! Again, you are totally awesome!

A/n: This was cute to write. Can anyone tell that I’m having bucky feels because he seems to make appearances in everything I’m writing lol.

Soulmate AU: World is black and white until you see your soulmate, then the world is in color.

Everyone had a soulmate. However, everyone’s way of finding their soulmate was different. Some had tattoos of the first words their soulmate will ever say to them or of images they needed to match, some had a time clock on their wrists. Others had the situation where they dye their hair, their soulmates hair turns that color, and others had a compass that would spin in circles once you greeted your soulmate. Some soulmates shared marks and shit. Some could hear the voices of their soulmate in their head. Creepy, but still nice to be able to hear them. Then, you had people like Steve rogers who saw the world in black and white. No colors, just the neutral spectrum of blacks, greys, and whites. It was sort of depressing, seeing as that’s all he ever saw during the Forties. Everything was black and white back then for those who could see in color, though. However, Steve just didn’t know who his soulmate was and if they saw in color, of half in color, or black and white like he did. Often, his vision was spark with colors and it worried him. What was happening to his soulmate? Was she ok? Was she getting hurt? It was worrisome. Sometimes, when he was at HYDRA bases, the world would slowly start to show color, but it would disappear as fast as it would come. Was that a sign that his soulmate was near? He bit his lip. He felt a flick on his forehead and jolted, looking at Bucky, his long time friend. Bucky Barnes soulmate method was a tattoo of the first words his soulmate would say to him, though they had turned a dark grey, meaning his soulmate was dead. ‘You should buy me a drink first!’ Was the words. Steve felt bad but after all, for all he knew, his soulmate could be dead too. But would that explain the flashes of colors he would often see?

“What’s on your mind, punk?”

“I’m…thinking about my soulmate. You know I see the world in black and white…but lately, there’s been violent flashes of colors that last a few minutes or even seconds. I don’t understand it and I’m scared. What if my soulmates getting hurt or…worse?”

Bucky sighed and Clint replied, his arms having doodles appear on them.

“I’m sure she’s ok, Steve. maybe you’re getting closer to her and your body is telling you so?”

Steve shrugged and looked out the window. The jet landed and everyone got out. Steve said to Bucky.

“Stay close to me, alright?”

“Yeah yeah, punk. Move it.”

Steve rolled his eyes and they burst through the doors, ambushing the base. Hydra agents dropped dead one by one, seeming like Whack-A-Mole and Steve heard a female voice speak German.

“Der Winter Soldier und das nationale Symbol sind meine. Töten Sie den Rest des Teams, können wir nicht Ablenkungen leisten.”
(The Winter Soldier and the national symbol are mine. Kill the rest of the team, we can not afford distractions.)

Steve yelled.

“Bucky, watch out for one of the agents!”

Bucky nodded and the Hydra agents quickly occupied the others while a woman appeared. She was decked out in a suit of armor, exactly like Bucky’s and had a face mask on. Her hair was pulled back in a french braid, strands hanging out here and there and her (e/c) eyes were covered with black war paint. The rest was covered by the mask. She held an machine gun in both her hands, both pointed to the ground and  fingerless gloves helped her keep her grip. She was walking towards them and Bucky started to shoot, the girl quickly jumping out of the way and Steve threw his shield, gasping a bit when she dropped her guns, grabbed the spinning shield, spun in the air and sent the disc flying at warped speed towards the icon. He jumped out of the way and the girl and Steve made eye contact. Everything stopped. Color flooded through his eyes, the skies a light blue, the clouds white. Trees were green and brown, blood was red, and she was definitley his soulmate. When Bucky was about to shoot, Steve yelled, hitting the gun and making the shot miss.

“No, wait!”

The girl seemed startled as well and backed away, running off and Bucky yelled at Steve, eyes livid.

“What the hell was that, Steve?! Why’d you make me miss the shot?! I had her on the ropes!”

“You can’t kill my soulmate, Bucky!”

Bucky had wide eyes and he asked, lowering his gun as the exhausted team members surrounded Steve.

“What?What do you mean…soulmate?”

“Bucky, that Assassin is my soulmate. I…I can see color!”

Steve was excited and the team could only share skeptical looks. Then, Steve got serious.

“We need to find her. Now.”

Natasha said, looking at a tablet.

“No can do rogers, security footage shows that she’s left. At least she’s being a runaway like Buck.”

Steve felt hopeful. Could he finally be able to see in color and meet his soulmate? Even if she was an assassin for Hydra. Steve was determined to make sure that he made you better like he was helping make Bucky get better.

“Then we scout for her. Trace her….”

Tony said, rolling his eyes.

“Great, Capsicle’s soulmate is a freaking HYDRA agent. Ain’t that some irony for the day.”

“Fuck off, Stark.”

Bucky growled, anger flashing in his eyes as they trekked to the jet, ready to search for the dear Captains dame.

[END, PART TWO SOON]

Jason didn’t even blink as Nico appeared on the bartop, nudging him slightly as he moved the glass Nico had almost knocked over. “Careful.” Jason whispered, and Nico flashed him an unfairly sparkling grin.

“Sorry, sorry, I’ll be more careful next time, Jay.” Nico winked and then laughed as the crowd around them gasped. Jason returned to the martini at hand, and tried to be unimpressed - the “teleport and make a joke” trick was one of Nico’s best crowd pleasers. Nico was a crowd pleaser, it seemed like he hardly even had to try to make his audiences smiles. He oozed charisma and charm and was so damn flirtatious that Jason could hardly even recognize him as the standoffish, cynical kid he was outside his show. Jason felt a twinge of uncalled for pride at that thought, that none of these people really KNEW Nico, not like he did.

He turned to where Nico was chatting with an audience member, some middle aged woman who was blushing at the attention. “So,” Nico cooed, “Is this your first time on my ship?”
“Y-yes.” She giggled again, and Nico took her hand.

“I thought so. I’d remember a lady as pretty as you,” He kissed her hand and Jason cursed as the glass he was filling overflowed, “What’s your name?”
“Kim."

"Kim,” Nico whistled, “A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. I have a question, Kim.”
“Yes?”
“Is that your natural hair color?”

“Yes…?” Nico extended his hand as she nodded, giving him permission to touch the blonde strands that hung around her face.

“So soft,” He purred, his (rather excessive, in Jason’s opinion) flirtation amplified by his microphone making the whole room laugh, “I always wished I could have pretty blonde hair like this~”
He stood straight, jumping on an unoccupied chair and grinning at the crowd to more laughter, “What do you think, folks? Blonde is the new black right? I think it’s time I changed my image.”

The crowd applauded, some people catcalling, a few women gasping “oh no”, and Nico gestured at the woman he had been flirting with before. “You don’t mind, do you Kim? Your hair is just so pretty, I can’t resist trying it out.”
“No, not at all.” She giggled, and Nico jumped again, rocking backwards precariously on the chair.

“Right, I’m alright. OK! Let’s see,” He pulled a comb out of his pocket. “Alright everyone, don’t tell the stylist about this trick, or she’ll never talk to me again. Introducing the magical dye that you’ll be dying to get! Change your image in no time flat. All you need is a comb and a little bit of magic!” He winked, and Jason felt himself blushing. Dammit. “Alright,” Nico called out, “Count with me. One, two-”
“Three!” The crowd shouted and then cheered and gasped as Nico shook his head, the hair whipping around his face changing from the dark brown to light, yellow blonde.

Suddenly, someone let out an “oh!” and the crowd starting laughing.
“Huh?” Nico said with a feigned innocence that made Jason roll his eyes, “Does it look that bad?”
“Behind you, the barman!” yelled someone, and Nico turned to Jason, offering him a wink and mouthing “play along” before anyone could see. Jason raised an eyebrow, ‘Huh?“

"Oh my! It looks like my product is a little messy!” Nico held up a small pocket mirror to Jason, smiling sheepishly. Who actually smiled sheepishly? Who did that- oh. “Oh man, seriously?”

Jason ran his hand through his hair, which was now a deep black. He kind of looked like his sister.  "I don’t know,“ Jason said, using his best showman’s voice, which wasn’t that great, but he was trying. He made cocktails, not jokes. "I look like a rockstar.”

“Ah, Jay,” Nico said, ruffling his hair, “You’re always a rockstar. Have you guys had today’s special? You’ve gotta. And he does great Sex on The Beach.” Nico winked and the crowd hooted. Jason blushed. “Ladies, he’s single~ Love this guy. A round of applause for the best bar keeper this side of Jamaica, yeah? Jason Grace, ladies and gentleman. And Kim, your drink’s on me, 'kay?”

Jason sighed and waved, and did his best not to make an idiot of himself in the spotlight as Nico weaved his way back to the stage, practically glowing.

The crowd cheered again, and (blessfully) their eyes followed Nico away from Jason, although a few people had stood up and were walking towards the bar now.

The rest of the show went as well as usual, Nico flirting and joking his way through the rest of the hour, probably making several audience members fall in love with him, probably making boyfriends and girlfriends all over the room jealous, and just generally being disgusting charming.

It worked, apparently, because he got a standing ovation at the end, and Jason heard the passengers singing his praises as they filed out.

He didn’t jump when Nico appeared in front of him.
“So, did you like my new trick?” Nico asked, and Jason sighed.

“You’re going to change it back, right?”

“Mmm,” Nico pursed his lips, “I think it suits you, the black. Your sister has black hair, doesn’t she?”

“Yeah, but that’s not the point. High school goth is YOUR look remember.”

“But now I’m doing 'blonde superman’. It works so well on you.”

Jason clicked his tongue and turned his back, but it was mostly to hide the blush creeping over his cheeks.

“Jason, come on.” Nico frowned, “Jason I’m sorry.” He waved his hand. “Jason. I fixed it, ok. I’ll buy you a drink.”

Jason sighed and turned back, checking his reflection in the glass. His hair was back to its normal colors, although Nico’s wasn’t. “I can buy my own drink.”

“I know. I didn’t want you to be mad at me.” Nico stared at his hand.

“I wasn’t mad at you.” Jason slumped, “I’m just not good with crowds.”

“No, they loved you.” Nico looked up and smiled at him, and Jason felt his stomach flip.

“They loved you, and I was near you."

"No, they liked you on your own. You got more tips tonight than usual, right?”

“Uhm…yeah. I guess.” Jason looked at his tip jar, which was full to the top, “Thanks.”

Nico waved his hand, “It’s not me. You make good drinks, I just reminded everyone. Everybody likes a handsome guy with a drink, Jason.”

“Well, thank you anyway.” Jason grinned, and he felt odd seeing Nico blush. Not a bad odd, but…anyway. “I’ll make you a drink. What do you want?”

“Sex on the Beach.”

“Well, next time we dock…”

“In your dreams, blond superman. Just make my cocktail or I’ll turn you back into regular dark haired superman.”

Jason raised an eyebrow, “Not your best.”

“No, but I don’t have to impress you. I’m at my maximum witty banter limit. Audiences are exhausting.”

“You’re in the wrong job, then.”

“It’s a side job.” Nico shrugged.

“Right, the whole wizard thing, right?”

“Necromancy.”

“Right, right…you know, you still haven’t shown me proof of that.”

“Maybe when we dock.”

Jason perked up. “Really?”

“Maybe.” Nico scoffed, and took a drink.

“Promise.”

“Fine,” Nico looked up at Jason and winked, “It’s a date.”
