i have this dream sweater that i want to own… i once saw a woman wear it on some artsy photo on the internet so it’s not like it is a specific sweater it’s just how i imagine that sweater to be… the material, the level of softness, its style… and each year when the sweater weather hits i look for this imaginary dream sweater of mine and today, completely by accident (because i was not shopping for clothes, i just needed to go to a hardware shop) i found it… it’s perfect and cute and me? i am so fucking broke
For those of you that don’t keep tabs on the boys.
Tyler just released new merchandise
Jack just released new merchandise
Ethan is going to release new merchandise on Friday.
And of course Mark has his foil shirts.
Since it’s taking me longer than I like to make scarves I’m going to buy a bunch of merch. And do a Holiday Give Away.
Now here’s the thing. This will ONLY BE FOR YOU GUYS. SO PLEASE DO NOT REBLOG OR TAG THE GUYS. This is for all of you that participate, or even just give my blog a lazy glance from time to time. It wouldn’t be fair to you awesome people that follow me of over a thousand people decided to participate.
Now if you’ll excuse me. I need to go buy merchandise.
For those of you that are still wanting a chance at a scarf. I’ll be doing that one as well, likely separate from the main merchandise draw.
Motzei Shabbos my mom was texting me about these shoes she saw at the mall and asked if I liked them. I said yes so she bought me 3 pairs because she’s ridiculous. Anyway today I asked if I could use her credit card because Junees (my favourite store in the world) is having a huge sale tomorrow and then she said she’s doing some Black Friday shopping as well and if she sees any more closed toe shoes, long sleeve shirts, or tights she will text me pictures and buy them for me and sometimes I need to take a step back and ask what timeline I’m living in. My mom used to haaaaate shopping with me when I first became frum because she found it so restricting but now she’s the one out buying me tzniusdik clothing and it’s really just a huge bracha.
I used to worry so much about asking her to take my daughters shopping or whatever if I needed any extra help or if she just wanted to buy them clothes but clearly that’s not an issue anymore. Not only does she know where I’m holding with tznius (she only showed me closed toe shoes and made a comment on it so it wasnt by fluke) but she knows what styles I like, too, despite not being so into fashion herself. Like, hello. Can I be a super mom like this too one day?? Iyh. But also let’s just appreciate the idea of my non Jewish mother who I call Madre but will likely be called Bubby, wearing pants and out shopping with my 15 Bais Yaakov daughters who are wearing blouses and skirts and have their hair in braids and she’ll be like “no Shprintza that skirt is too short put it back” like I’m gonna plotz
