november 66

BNSF freight trains crossing the Mojave Desert in California, as seen from National Trails Highway (old Route 66) on November 8, 2013.  I-40 can be seen in the distance on the third shot.  The road passes through Route 66 ghost towns of Essex and Chambless, and the “ghost town that ain’t dead yet,” Amboy, home of the iconic Roy’s Motel (and cafe and gas station).

On November 3rd, it would have been a year. You were my first love and I always hoped you would be my last, but life doesn’t work that way. It could have been a whole year of memories with you. A whole summer in the hot sun, watching your pale skin grow wild with freckles. Instead, I listened to songs that you still haunt. I stared into the vibrant yellow fields that appeared white and hazy to me through my sad eyes. You decided to give up on us, I’m still not really sure why. It could have been a year for us, but it won’t be.

I am still healing

So, this morning I worked out a little writing schedule in my bullet journal for what I’ll write and when I’ll post it and I’ve decided to share it with you guys. It goes up to November 9th which means that requests will most likely be open again for everything on that date.

I’m hoping to keep this as close to the schedule as possible, so here’s my schedule for the next week in terms of what I’ll be posting and when I’ll be posting it. I won’t be naming the characters for the prompts here, but the numbers will be listed.

November 5: 66 + 83, 18 + 154, 38 + 110, 35 + 38, one Javier Peña one shot.
November 6: 194 + 205, 130 + 217, 21 + 63, 41 + 42, one Steve Harrington one shot.
November 7: 38 + 52, 209 + 211, 13 + 36, one Javier Peña one shot.
November 8: 113 + 160, two Javier Peña one shots.
November 9: two Javier Peña one shots, one Billy Hargrove one shot.

A very sweet demo for ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ from 1966.

“Q: I heard that “Strawberry Fields” was written when you were sitting on a beach alone.

John: Yeah, in Spain, filming How I Won the War. I was going through a big scene about song writing again you know – I seem to go through it now and then, and it took me a long time to write it. See, I was writing all bits and bits. I wanted the lyrics to be like conversation. It didn’t work, that one verse was sort of ludicrous really, I just wanted it to be like [John sing-talks] “we’re talking and I just happen to be singing” – like that. And it was very quiet. But it was written in this big Spanish house, part of it, and then finished on the beach. It was really romantic – singing it too – I don’t know who was there.

Interesting because Paul was in Spain in November of 1966, and filming for How I Won The War continued until November 6, 1966.

2014 was a big year for me. It was the year that I said “That’s it, something has to change” and it changed. It changed in my body and in my mind. On the 28th of March I decided to start a diet. It wasn’t the first time I was starting a diet, but the past diets that I made, I made them because of someone else like, my family, my doctor, etc, so with 16 years old, 162 cm (5'3’’) and 84 kg (185,2 lbs) I decided to do a diet for myself, because it was a struggle to look at myself in the mirror, it was a struggle to find clothes that I liked, for God sake I once cried in a dressing room. So I changed with the help of my family and friends. They were supportive and accepted my decision. It was hard and difficult and I had many unhappy times but on the 1st of November I was weighing 66 kg (145,5 lbs). My battle is not over, but it will soon come to an end. Some people here have asked what I did and I’m going to give some tips.

  • Do it for yourself. If your feeling good with your body you don’t have to do it for someone else.
  • Be patient. Losing weight take months, not days.
  • Eat healthy food, drink a lot of water, avoid fried foods, sauces and sweets.
  • Do exercise. It’s every important to conciliate your new eating habits with exercise.
  • Look for the support of family and friends. Online friends count.
  • Dress up everyday in front of a mirror. This will leave you used to your own body.
  • Don’t give up. If you really want to make this change, you are able to do it.

If you have any question, are looking for motivation or anything else, my ask box is always opened and remember I love you no matter what.
