Te Ka and Te Fiti

I loved this movie so much. I already had high expectations for it before entering the theater and it was far better than I thought it would. I highly recommend seeing it if you’re able to.

(Please tag as Moana Spoilers, or however you tag your spoilers. Plus note, please notify  me if I spelled the names wrong. Misspelling them is the last thing I want to do.)

Not all plus size women are comfortable being called “FAT”

That word still bears a lot of hurtful memories for some plus size women who are taking strides to learn how to love their body.

For others the word “fat” is a sense of empowerment, it’s a powerful stance in the body acceptance movement, and they’re taking the word back.

However, some women are not comfortable describing their body like that. The negative connotation behind the word still discourages them and that needs to be noted.

If a plus size woman makes it clear to you that they are not comfortable with that word, and that the word hurts them please refrain from calling them that. Their road to body acceptance doesn’t apply to whatever set of rules you feel should be in place.

one reason i put the fact that i’m adhd in my bio is that i want to be clear that my putting two ideas close to each other in no way means those things are related and if you assume that my writing tags about dinner on a picture of flowers means anything more than that i got hungry in the middle of a reblog you’re going to end up reading too much into a whole helluva lot

March week 11 >> Always Choose Happy >> Beginning of week

I started off thinking, oh lets try minimal this week, so started off with just the left hand side day heading. Then added washi… then coloured some flowers … then yeah this happened :) tried something new with some weekly goals to keep me on track, as well as a tracker to see how I go.

P.S. Being new to this studyblr community I never realised how beauiful and creative some planner spreads could be! So I totally went and bought some brush pens, cute sticky notes, plus other stationery that I totally *needed*. So watch this space and I’ll be posting how I go with the goodies.
