PROUDEST MOMENT (Batboys Headcanon)

Dick: When you faced your biggest fear.

“Holy…” You trailed, eyes wide and regretful of your decision to go through with this.

“Don’t even finish that statement, baby. You can do this; You’re the strongest person I know.” Dick grinned, holding your hand along the way.

You did it, and he couldn’t be happier.

Jason: When you told a lady off at a Wayne Gala.

The woman stared at you in disgust, “Maybe next time you should wear a more conservative dress. And the color red… it’s so bright and sensual. You look like a whor-”

Jason did a double take, his eyes sparking with rage, “What the fu-”

You cut him off, your patience running low with all the stuck up people littering the ballroom, “I’M SORRY MY SHOULDERS ARE DISTRACTING YOU, KAREN. NEXT TIME I’LL BE SURE TO SUPPORT THE DYING PATRIARCHAL SOCIETY FOR OLD HAGS LIKE YOU. AND SOME PEOPLE DIDN’T WANT TO SHOW UP LOOKING LIKE A WALKING FUNERAL; SO (A) FUCK YOU, AND (B) FUCK OFF.”

“Baby…” Jason whispered, his eyes full of admiration and love as he watched the lady storm off in fury, “That was so hot, I love you so much.”

Tim: When he saw you smile for the first time after a long period of sadness.

Tim had been so distraught after seeing you beat yourself up over things that weren’t even your fault. You were in a downward spiral, and he hadn’t seen you crack a smirk in almost two months.

Tim broke every time you cried, but one day while the two of you were on a coffee date in the heart of Gotham, Tim finally got a smile out of you, and even a small laugh.

He relished in the moment, the way your smile beamed with sunshine rays, and the way your hair shifted over your shoulder when you laughed. He was in complete adoration, loving every piece of you.

He was so proud of what you have gone through. After all, you’ve done it. You’ve made it through a tunnel of darkness, and now you can see a tiny spark of light.

Damian: When you punched your bully.

For too long he had watched you falter under someone else’s oppression, and Damian was on his last strings, about to brutally murder that person who brought you down. Every day, you held him back, trying to convince him everything was fine, yet he knew it wasn’t. When you left the bathroom, your eyes were puffy and red, and sometimes you would even sport bruises that seemingly came out of nowhere.

He was done trying to believe that you’d just woken up with brutal marks on your stomach and arms. But, when that jerk of a person stopped by your locker that morning to give you your daily dose of negativity, they made the mistake of bringing up Damian. And when Damian saw that they were talking to you, he rushed forward to get the first punch, but he was too late.

Your fist connected with their face, and you smirked as blood spewed from their big mouth. Damian watched in amazement, for you had done it. You knocked the kid out cold with one punch, and Damian couldn’t be more ecstatic.

Having your first child with Tom Holland:
  • Tom being really nervous when he found out, but he was overjoyed at the thought of being a dad
  • Coming up with names for the baby, even before you both knew the gender
  • “If she’s a girl, I like Phoebe, but if he’s a boy I vote Peter”
  • “Of course you do”
  • He’d love to lay next to you and talk to your growing stomach, sometimes he’d even plant kisses on it
  • Taking a bunch of photos because he wants to show his baby them one day
  • Both being ecstatic for ultra sounds and Tom and you both get emotional (Lots and lots of tears)
  • “She kicked again Tom!”
  • Tom rubbing your feet whenever you complain about them being sore
  • Showing his parents the ultrasound photos over and over, he’s just really proud
  • “I can’t wait to make our child wear little Spider-Man Suits”
  • “For gods sake Tom”
  • Both of you having your moments where you worry you won’t be good parents but quickly reassuring each other
  • Sometimes you’ll fall asleep while watching a movie with Tom and you’ll wake up and out of habit he’ll just be rubbing your bump
  • “Hopefully she gets your accent”
  • Having your little girl was most likely your proudest moment. Tom held your hand through the whole thing and was so supportive
  • Him being an overprotective dad, you found it adorable
  • He convinced you to buy her mini Spider-Man suits, the fans went crazy over it
  • Your daughter growing up to be such a daddy’s girl

Summary: Sansa is kind of YouTube famous and decides to vlog her family holiday for her viewers but her first video has unexpected results.

The thing is Sansa didn’t mean to get into YouTube. She had aspirations of being a theatre actress, doing Shakespeare on the West End or something equally as prestigious, but one drunken night at uni, Sansa decides the world is in dire need of a video on how to do your makeup drunk. It’s not her proudest moment and she even uploaded it without any editing whatsoever, but somehow, by the time she woke up the next morning, she already had over 100,000 views. It’s utterly bizarre and – well, it’s kind of cool. Jeyne thinks it’s good exposure because it’s not like she can’t just quit YouTube if she wants, so she uploads a couple more videos. One of her doing the everyday beauty routine challenge and another drunk one where Jeyne and her drink wine and talk about fuckboys. By the end of the month, she’s kind of YouTube famous and life ceased to make sense anymore.

Her family at least thinks it’s hilarious. Robb constantly asks to appear in her videos and her views skyrocket each time because according to her fans, her brother is ‘so hot holy shit let him impregnate me’, which is really, really disgusting. Occasionally Bran will join her if he’s visiting her at uni and they’ll just drink and review movies or shows together. The only two people who adamantly refuse to have anything to do with her channel are Arya and Rickon. Rickon’s still in that awkward teenage phase where hanging out with his older sister is uncool and Arya just scoffs at YouTube in general. But when the trend of vlogging starts taking off, Sansa decides to give it a try. She’s going on holiday with her family and a few of their friends, so it’s the perfect opportunity to test it out.

– although not everyone thinks so.

“Get that fucking camera out of my face, Sansa,” Arya spits out as they stand in the queue waiting to check in their luggage. Sansa sticks out her tongue and her sister rolls her eyes in exasperation. They’ve always had an antagonistic relationship, as sisters do, but it’s gotten worse with YouTube. Sansa doesn’t really know why but she doesn’t want to dwell on it either. Arya can be a cow so it’s probably just that.

Sansa turns the camera to Robb, who’s wearing a greying hoodie, sunglasses perched on his nose and an empty Starbucks cup in one hand. “Hungover, Robb?”

He looks up blearily, notices the camera and flashes a weak smile. “Like you wouldn’t believe.” Looking directly at the camera, he adds, “listen, kids, if your best friend breaks up with his girlfriend and you think it’s a good idea to go cheer him up with a bottle of whiskey eight hours before flying, don’t.”

Arya, Bran and Rickon snicker, but Sansa is a little frozen with this new piece of knowledge. “Wait…” But she doesn’t get a chance to ask because Jeyne comes bounding forward with her hot pink suitcase rolling behind her.

“Morning, Starklings!” she greets brightly – to much groaning from her siblings. She plants a kiss on Sansa’s cheek and squishes Robb’s face between her hands. “Hi, sunshine. Saw your Instagram story last night. Looks like you and Jon had a great time.”

“Story? What story?” Robb questions, rubbing his cheeks, before his eyes widen. “Noooo, I didn’t. Did I? Shit.”

“You did, you so very did,” Jeyne chirps, as she turns to the camera with a wave. “Our resident heartthrob here took our resident grump to a strip club.”

“What!” shouts all four Stark siblings, Sansa included.

Arya punches Robb in the shoulder. “Why would you do that to Jon? Does he look like that would cheer him up? He’s not you or Theon.”

Her brother rubs his shoulder, glaring at Arya. “Drinking games weren’t working! And he didn’t want to talk about it so…” He shrugs sheepishly. “We were out of options.”

“That’s so like you, Robb,” Sansa says on a sigh. “Maybe you should’ve just left him alone.”

She doesn’t usually voice her opinions on any matter involving Jon – mostly because she doesn’t think she has a leg to stand on. They’re not friends, not in the way he is with Robb or Arya or even Bran and Rickon. Actually, she seems to be the only person he doesn’t get along with. But she knows him. He’s Jon. He’s the guy who sat with her on her fifteenth birthday when she walked in on Joffrey making out with Margaery. He’s the guy that drove her home when she got drunk for the first time at seventeen and was too terrified to call Robb or her parents. He’s her grumpy knight in shining armour and she’s been in love with him for six years, so she knows him, probably better than Robb does, but of course no one knows that.

“Speak of the devil!” Arya exclaims as she walks quickly towards Jon, throwing her arms around his waist in a tight hug. He chuckles and wraps his arms around her. Sansa watches them whispering to one another, Arya rolling her eyes and then Jon ruffling her hair with fondness. It twists something inside of her that makes her shut the camera off and look away.

“Are you okay?” Jeyne says under her breath so only Sansa can hear.

She nods mutely, not wanting to say anything to betray how painful it’s always been to see Jon interact with her siblings, how effortless their friendships are and the stark contrast it is to how he is with her. She doesn’t need him to love her back, not in the way she loves him, but she can’t even have his friendship and that stings.

“Morning,” Jon greets as he reaches them with Arya tucked under his arm. “So I guess you’ve all heard.” They nod and there’s a round of commiserations. “Okay, good. Now that that’s done with, let’s not bring it up again.” His voice is teasing but there’s a sharpness to it that means Jon’s serious, so they all laugh and carry on, changing the topic to whether their flight will be delayed.

Theon’s the last to arrive, and thankfully by that point, the queue’s moved up enough that they only have to wait a further five minutes to check in. Her parents arrive back from their morning stroll around the airport just in time and soon they’re all heading to board the plane. There’s a scuffle as they near the gate as everyone’s looking at their tickets to see who they’re sitting with.

“Oh c’mon! Someone else sit next to him!”

“Awe, Jeyne, I’m not that bad.”

“Piss off, Theon. I will stab you!”

“Jeyne, honey, it’s only a couple hours.”

“Yes, Mrs Stark.”

Sansa muffles her laugh behind her bag as she searches for her passport which she shoved down to the bottom as they went through security. Once she has it in her grasps, she pulls out the ticket and reads out, “26C.”

“Oh,” says a voice from behind her and Sansa quickly turns around. Jon’s looking at his ticket then back up at her, a faint smile on his lips. “26B. I guess we’re sitting together.”

“I guess so,” is all she can manage, as her whole body stiffens at the prospect of spending nearly three hours on a plane beside Jon. A single Jon. It’s just all too much for Sansa to deal with this early in the morning. His hair is as unruly as ever, curling just over his forehead, and he’s wearing a thin black jumper that strain against his broad shoulders and a pair of dark-washed jeans. Too much. It’s too much.

Sansa grabs for Jeyne and tugs her forward, turning away from Jon. “I’ll sit with Theon.”

Her best friend’s face widens with joy and then suddenly pinches together as she frowns at Sansa. “Why would you –” She glances behind them where Jon is still standing, now rolling his eyes at whatever Robb is saying. “Oh no, absolutely not. You are not running away from him again.”

“Again?” Sansa cries out indignantly, catching the curious gaze of her father. “What are you talking about?” she hisses a little quieter.

“Um, remember when Robb and Jon came out with us that night in freshers?” Jeyne raises a brow and Sansa deflates because she does remember. “He was practically ready to propose to you.”

“He was drunk.”

“He couldn’t stop staring at you or smiling at you,” Jeyne says. “And then he asks you to go outside with him and you panic and run away.”

“I went to the bathroom!” Sansa whispers harshly, but she did panic. She had been so sure she would never be more than Robb’s little sister to Jon that when he had taken her hand and asked if she wanted to get some fresh air, she panicked.

“And what happened next, Sans?” Jeyne asks, voice a little gentler now.

Her heart breaks all over again as she leans her forehead against her friend’s shoulder, a resigned sigh escaping her lips. “He met Ygritte.”

“That’s right, he did, and guess what? They broke up and you’re not bloody running again,” Jeyne says as she pushes Sansa back upright. “You’re going to sit there and be charming and he’s going to fall in love with you all over again.”

“You’re delusional,” Sansa murmurs instead.

“No, I’m brilliant. Now, c’mon.”

The first hour actually passes by in near to complete silence. Sansa doesn’t know if she’s disappointed or relieved; she’s existing in the realm between both emotions and it’s making it really hard for her to sit still or sleep. Jon seems to be sleeping just fine, his face relaxed as he leans as far back as the chair will go. But as the second hour approaches, the man beside Jon, a terrifyingly large and bulky man with multiple tattoos winding up his arms and peeking from his cargo shorts, slumps his head onto Jon’s shoulder with a thump. He startles awake, wide-eyed and confused, and Sansa can’t help laughing at his expression and the situation he’s now in.

He groans quietly. “Of course this would happen to me.”

“Oh, don’t be such a drama queen, Jon,” she says, nudging his shoulder with hers. “If only I was as lucky to have a handsome man resting on me.”

Jon quirks an eyebrow at her. “Then let’s trade seats.”

“But how could you wake him!” she whispers back, smiling brightly at him and forgetting for a moment that she’s still madly, desperately, stupidly in love with this man.

“You’re enjoying this too much,” he says but his lips twitch and it’s adorable how hard he’s trying not to smile.

“I’m enjoying it just the right amount,” Sansa says before she’s reaching down for her bag and grabbing her camera, turning it on and recording. “Now I’m enjoying it too much.”

Jon eyes the camera and then glares at it. “Sansa,” he says warningly. “If this goes on the internet, I’m going to –”

“What?” she questions with an innocent smile. Sansa turns the camera onto herself. “He wouldn’t dare threaten this face, would he?” She gives a little pout, and in the background, she sees Jon cracking a fond smile as he reaches forward to tug at her loose plait.

“I’ll get you back for this.”

She focuses the camera back on him again. “Hmmm, no, I don’t think so.”

“What do you mean, no?”

“I mean no, Jon, you big puppy dog. I can outplay you,” she says still sweetly innocent. She’s enjoying this weird banter they have going on far more than she should because Jon just broke up with his girlfriend and this is only going to end up with her getting her heart broken in the end. Only she doesn’t care. She doesn’t care so much she might as well repress whatever self-preserving brain cells she has left.

“Outplay me? I didn’t realise this was a game,” Jon says, amused.

“Life’s a game, Jon Snow,” she quips back, to which he actually laughs so loud the man leaning on him jumps awake. He stares at Jon and then at Sansa’s camera and yawns before leaning against the window and falling asleep once again.

Both Jon and Sansa stifle their laughter but it’s no use so Sansa does something wildly inappropriate and presses her face into Jon’s shoulder, muffling her giggles into his jumper. He doesn’t seem to mind or maybe he’s too busy trying not to laugh himself.

For a few seconds, Sansa just allows herself the comfort his warmth provides her before extricating herself once she realises her camera’s still recording. She turns it to face her and makes a face. “We’re going to hell.”

Jon nods in the background. “First class tickets.”

“At least I have you as company,” she says, smiling back at him, and he returns her smile.

When she passes out later at the hotel trying to edit the footage, the last thing Sansa expects is for it to be uploaded by the time she wakes up and for her to receive way more notifications than should be normal.

Sansa slams her laptop shut and throws a pillow at Jeyne’s head. Her friend groans and rolls away from her. She throws a second pillow at her.

“WHAT!”

“Did you edit my video and upload it for me?” Sansa demands angrily. She slides out of bed to go and sit on top of Jeyne’s prone figure.

The girl huffs and tries to kick her legs out to dislodge Sansa. “I thought I was being a good friend! You looked really tired!”

“But now the entire internet thinks me and Jon have something going on!”

Jeyne opens one eye to narrow it at Sansa. “Well, don’t you? You two were awfully cosy on that plane.”

Jeyne,” she groans, pinching her friend on the hip. “He just broke up with his girlfriend! What if Ygritte sees it?”

“Then her bloody loss!” Jeyne suddenly thrashes wildly and Sansa ends up falling backwards onto the floor. A bruise is definitely going to form on her ass now. “Stop worrying about some girl you don’t even know and go after what you want, Sans.” She leans over the side of the bed to look down at her. “Look, I know Joffrey and Harry really screwed you over in the whole relationship department. And then after Ramsay, you’re kind of hesitant but we’ve known Jon since forever. He’s good and decent.”

Sansa rolls her eyes, even though her whole body’s recoiled at the mention of Ramsay but she’s trying desperately not to dwell on those months in her life. “I know that. Of course I know that. I’m the one in love with him, aren’t I?”

It’s hard to concentrate on having a good holiday when her mind is whirling with what Jeyne’s said. She doesn’t know why she doesn’t just go for Jon aside from the courtesy of giving him a wide berth while he heals from his breakup, but that’s not even what’s making her hesitant. It’s much more convoluted than that. It’s being cheated on in both of her previous relationships. It’s being stalked by a classmate for three months until he’s finally arrested for something completely unrelated – since reporting a stalker who hasn’t done anything means nothing to the police. It’s all of those things that make Sansa start to wonder maybe she shouldn’t be with anyone ever because everything she touches gets tainted one way or another and the last thing she’d want is to taint someone as pure as Jon. He’s the last good man on this planet that’s not related to her. And that’s just the thing, isn’t it? He’s really, really good. He’s honourable and honest and so loyal. He’d never cheat on his girlfriend. When he loves someone, she’s his whole world. Sansa saw the way he used to look at Ygritte, and although it had killed her to see him look at someone that way that wasn’t her, she was happy he’d found someone who made him that happy.

God, she hates love. She hates everything about it.

“Alright, sourpus, what’s got your knickers in a twist?” Arya asks, slumping down into the beach chair beside her. She’s in a simple black bikini with a ball cap turned the wrong way around on her head. She has a bottle of some obscure Spanish beer in one hand.

Sansa shields her eyes from the sun to look at her sister. “What are you talking about?”

“You’re glaring at the ocean like it personally offended you,” Arya points out with a long drag from her beer. “Honestly, you’re in bloody Spain. What have you got to be so angry about?”

“I’m not angry, I’m just… thinking,” she says lamely as she watches Jeyne tackle Theon into the ocean while Robb looks on with an amused and somewhat impressed expression.

Uhuh, well you should think less,” Arya says. “Because you’re on holiday. Thinking is for losers. C’mon, Sans, have some fun.”

Sansa sighs. “What do you care if I’m miserable or not?”

Her sister snorts and rolls her eyes. “I care. Hey, I do. Just because I think you’re a spoiled princess most of the time doesn’t mean I don’t care if you’re happy or not. You’re just annoying.”

“I don’t know if I should be comforted or insulted,” Sansa chuckles as she swipes the beer from Arya’s hand to take a sip. As soon as the liquid hits the back of her throat, she makes a face. “I forgot I hated beer.”

Her sister snatches the bottle back. “Good. More for me.” They fall into a comfortable silence for a few minutes, both of them too busy watching their family and friends get into an all out war with each other. “Is this about Jon?”

Sansa’s head snaps to Arya so quickly she probably has whiplash now. “What?”

“He has no idea you fancy him, you know?” she says nonchalantly as if Sansa’s whole world hasn’t just been turned upside down. “Jon’s a bit of an idiot like that. Actually, both of you are idiots like that.”

What?

“I mean god, he fancied you for so long it was honestly super gross,” she continues. “When he started dating Ygritte, we were all like ‘what the fuck’ but also kind of glad he was moving on.”

“What do you mean ‘we’ and what are you talking about!” Sansa is about to hit her sister out of sheer frustration.

Arya finally turns to look at Sansa and she’s wearing a long-suffering expression. “We as in the whole bloody family. Okay maybe except for Rickon. But everyone else kind of guessed it.” Her sister shrugs. “We didn’t think you were interested.”

“But I –”

“You’ve always been the type of person to keep your cards close to your chest,” Arya rattles on, cutting her off. “It was hard for any of us to tell.”

“So what changed?”

“Ygritte.” Her sister sighs and takes another pull from her beer. “When he started bringing her around, it was like – I don’t know. You just looked so broken.”

Sansa bites down hard on her lower lip but the memories come flooding back anyways.

The first time she saw Ygritte and Jon together was at her childhood home during Easter holidays. He’d brought her back with him from uni and it was just so obvious how smitten he was with her. Seeing him like that, so in love with someone else, had ripped out every wall she’d ever built around herself. It was like her mind had just given up trying to protect itself, like it didn’t care anymore what the rest of her did; it just wanted to succumb to its own self-pity and heartache. For days, Sansa had lived on autopilot. She smiled and made small talk but nothing could penetrate through the haze she was living in. Eventually, Jeyne had to come kidnap her and drive them back to uni early before Sansa completely fell apart.

The months that followed were the most agonising of her life. It feels melodramatic now to think it but Sansa couldn’t describe it in any other way. She knew even then how stupid it was to feel such a loss so acutely when Jon had never been hers to lose in the first place, but the petulant, childish part of her mind still screamed out that he was hers. He was her grump in shining armour and no one else’s. It was pathetic and she felt pathetic for thinking it.

“I hated her so much,” Sansa admits after a long silence. “I know that’s awful. I didn’t even know her but I just did. She was everything I wasn’t. Strong, smart, witty – it was like this realisation that I could try all my life to be like Ygritte but no one would ever look at me the way Jon looked at her.” She looks at her feet buried in the sand and says quietly, “because none of them would ever be him.”

Arya reaches out to grip Sansa’s hand. “You don’t just fancy him, do you?” She shakes her head. “You love him?” She nods. “Awe shit, Sans, then tell him.”

“I can’t. It’s not – he just broke up with Ygritte. I’d be an asshole to dump all this on him now.”

“You’re an asshole for not telling him in the first place,” Arya says but she’s smiling softly at her. “I’m no Jon interpreter but there’s a good fucking chance he loved you too.”

That night Sansa can’t bear to be around her family as they mill around the hotel bar chatting and drinking. She has too much to think about so at the first opportunity – which is just when Robb and Theon decide to do a duet at the karaoke machine – she slips out onto the beach with the goal of just walking aimlessly for as long as she needs to clear her mind. As always, Sansa has her camera and she begins to record the ocean as it laps up onto the sand. It’s close to a full moon and the silver light reflects off of the murky surface of the water. It’s beautiful and romantic, and so of course, she feels lonely for the first time in a long time. Sansa’s normally okay being single. After the debacle with Harry and the incident with Ramsay, the thought of any man being near her made her queasy, but now all she wants is for someone to wrap her up in their arms and just hold her. It’s a silly thought, probably born out of all those Disney movies she used to watch as a kid, but it’s there anyways, niggling at the back of her mind as she walks down the beach.

The air is humid and makes her hair stick to the back of her neck but there’s a cool breeze coming from the ocean that eases the humidity. She’s nearing the edge of the hotel’s property when she hears someone call out her name. Sansa turns and squints against the darkness.

“You shouldn’t be walking out here alone,” he says, jogging up to her. “It’s not safe.”

“Jon,” she breathes out, her whole body instantly relaxing at the sight of him. “I was just… clearing my head.”

He nods, grey eyes watching her carefully, before his cheeks flush. “Your viewers seem to like me.”

“You watched it?” Sansa asks, a little incredulous. She turns the camera off and puts it back into her bag.

“I always watch your videos, Sans.” He sounds so casual but the pink flush spreading across his cheeks makes her think this is anything other than casual. It’s unfairly adorable.

“I didn’t… know that,” she says slowly, unsure of what else to say now. “I can take it down if you don’t want anyone to see. Jeyne edited it so I didn’t really get a final say before she uploaded the video.”

Jon shakes his head. “It’s okay. It was funny.”

“Yeah,” Sansa says with a cheeky smile. “You and that man looked really good together on camera.”

He sighs and runs a hand through his dark hair. “You’re never going to let that go, are you?”

“Never,” she agrees, smiling even brighter.

“Figures,” he mumbles, chuckling softly. “You know… we looked good together too.”

“What?” Sansa’s heart all but stops. She’s not really sure what to say or what he’s implying.

Jon takes a couple steps closer to her till they’re only a foot apart. “I wish I knew,” he murmurs softly. “Maybe I wouldn’t have wasted everyone’s time pretending I still didn’t care.”

“Jon, what are you talking about?”

“Do you want to know why Ygritte and I broke up?” he asks instead, which really annoys her, and if she isn’t already so close to coming completely undone she would kick him for being so cryptic.

“It started a couple months ago,” Jon continues when she doesn’t answer. He’s looking at her warily and it’s making her heart beat faster and faster. “Or maybe earlier, I don’t know. But when I found out what was happening to you with that Ramsay guy, I was just – it was all I could think about. Robb and I would spend hours researching what legal action you could take. We’d take turns driving past your flat and making sure you were safe. I was so worried out of my mind that I guess I just neglected Ygritte. And when she tried to bring it up, I snapped at her. I was furious that she couldn’t understand how important this was, how it was you.”

Sansa doesn’t really know anymore if she’s breathing. She wonders if she might’ve just wandered into the ocean and died because this is too surreal. This is Jon telling her she means as much to him as he means to her.

“Once Ramsay was arrested, I promised her I’d get better but it was like – for over a year, I was so sure I was in love with Ygritte. She was great in every way, but…” Jon pauses to glance towards the ocean. “The thought that someone could hurt you and take you away from me suddenly made me realise that I never did move on. And I think after awhile Ygritte figured that out too.”

He looks back at her then and takes her hand in his. “I don’t deserve you but I just need to know if there’s even a chance you feel the same way or if I completely misread the signs in that video and made a total prick of myself. If I did, I promise I’ll never bring this up again and we can go back to –”

Sansa cuts him off by pressing her lips against his. He freezes at first but then his hands go immediately around her and she’s wrapping her own arms around his neck, carding her fingers through his hair. It’s everything she ever wanted and so much more because it’s not just a kiss, it’s a confirmation that Jon really is hers and has always been hers and will forever be hers.

“God, I love you so much,” she admits quietly when they pull apart. “But you really are an idiot.”

“I know,” he chuckles. “And I’m sorry it took me this long to get here.”

“You’re here now,” she tells him, dropping a chaste kiss to his lips just because she can.

“I am… and for the record, I fucking love you too.”

I don’t care if people are around, open your shirt and let me see your tits + Jungkook please?

“Shit, Jeongguk,” you whine as his cock hits a tad too deep inside you, and you try to buy yourself some slack by going up on pointe. But Jeongguk has the added advantage of height, so he just takes another step closer to you, and the head of his cock is right back where he wants it, positioned right at the opening of your cervix.

Backstage sex is always exciting because its forbidden, and you know your ballet career would be over in a heartbeat if you were ever caught. But Jeongguk always soothes you with sweet talk and forehead kisses, that he’ll never let you get kicked out because of this. All that separates you and the rest of your class, including your teacher, is a flimsy little curtain that doesn’t even draw all the way, leaving a sliver of space where people could see through, if they happened to be at the right angle.

Graduation Celebrations | Joe Sugg

Request - Yes

Can you do an imagine where the reader is graduating college and the buttercream boys are there for her but Jack/Joe finally admits their feelings for them. (Sorry if that made zero sense 😅)

——————————————————————————————-
Graduation was the proudest moment of your life. The years that passed full of stress, tears and anger because of your course had finally payed off. The little ceremony held was attended by your family. There was only one thing left to do; get stupid arse drunk with your friends to celebrate.

Thankfully as the saying goes ‘great minds think a like’ because your friend Joe had the same idea. So he had agreed to host a house party for you, filled with your close friends and his. Nothing to big. Just a close get together.

You and Joe had been friends for nearly 2 years, after being introduced to each other through distant friends, you honestly felt intimidated at the fact the he was 'ThatcherJoe’ and he had a shit tonne of fans, but the feeling went away after getting to know him. At the end of the night you exchanged numbers and gradually you ended up being really close friends. There was times where you thought you might have liked Joe more than a friend, but university was more important than men at that point. Rumour had it that Joe also liked you, friends making remarks about how he looked at you and would cancel meeting up with others to help you out to the best of his ability when you needed someone for moral support.

Arriving at Joe’s a couple hours later with the party in full swing, you were greeted with a lot of hugs and a slurred 'Congratulations’. Oli came over to you and gave you your first drink, and all of a sudden Caspar was up on a chair giving a toast. Looking over at you he started to speak

'I just wanted to say a massive congratulations to our friend Y/N who is now free out of university with a masters degree. You worked hard, and you played hard and you have no idea how proud of you I am. I know I couldn’t have done it in a million years. I know this sounds like a wedding speech but who cares, I thought this was cool. Anyway congratulations again Y/N, let’s get this party started. Cheers’ raising his drink up.  Everyone else doing the same and repeating 'cheers’.  You mouthed Caspar a think you before he gave you a wink.

This was going to be a good night.

3 hours later and a few drinks later, you were definitely feeling the buzz off the alcohol kick in. However you weren’t as drunk as Joe, who was currently on his kitchen counter grinding on a broom stick to 'Talk dirty to me’ no one seemed to be paying any attention to him or his alcohol intake.

After your friends decided to call it a night, it was just you, Joe and Conor who was passed out on the couch. You weren’t sure if you should move him to the spare bedroom so he’d be more comfortable but after a loud thud came from the kitchen and a drunk Joe lying in a pool of beer, you decided against it. At least then you only have to deal with one intoxicated person. Grabbing a dish towel you began to wipe up some of the beer surrounding Joe. Man, his cleaner was gonna have a struggle tomorrow with the sticky floors and surfaces. Joe got up but before he could go anywhere, you got a hold of him and started to guide him upstairs.

'Cor is it bedtime now?’ He said with a smirk. 'Will you stay over?’ Looking over at him you nodded your head, deciding it was probably for the best if you did stay the night. You never thought it would be you that was the sober one on your graduation night, but somehow you wouldn’t have it any other way, seeing Joe having fun without a care in the world made it worth it for you.

Joe came to a stop on the stairs, your arm holding tight on his waist, scared incase he falls backwards stairs and quite frankly, you didn’t really want to make a trip to hospital with him. All of a sudden Joe clears his throat.

'Hey Y/N I’m so proud of you. 4 years of your life spent studying to make something of yourself. I wish I had a girlfriend like that. No scrap that I wish I had you as a girlfriend. I mean like here’s no point in hiding it anymore, I like how you you never gave up, you’re a tough cookie. You’re a fighter and that’s why I want you. You’re cute as fuck and you never need to make an effort to look flawless. Y/N you honestly take my breath away.’

'You’re just drunk’ pulling at him to get to the the top of the stairs.

Faint chuckles fall from Joes lips as you stumble through to his bedroom. You let go and he quickly throws his alcohol stained shirt on the floor, thinking to your self that Joe was really gonna regret getting drunk and ruining his clothes.

Grabbing your hands he spoke softly, 'Y/N, I’m being serious, I like you. I like you a lot. Are you really that blind? It’s not rocket science to figure out that I’ve liked you since the first time we hung out, just us two. I didn’t want to push my luck because I know you were busy, and I know how your education meant to you. Tell me Y/N, right here, right now that you don’t feel the same about me because I know deep down in that massive heart of yours, you feel the same’

Your stomach flipped by his words. Who knew Joe could be such a smooth talker? Nevertheless, now wasn’t really the time to speak about this, Joe was drunk, and you didn’t know I’d this would be another regret when he woke up, so you did what you thought was the right thing and you let go of his hands.

'Lets talk about it in the morning, yeah?’ You say, pushing him on his bed, nearly passed out. Deciding to be the good friend you are, you went to get him a few things to make his hangover easier for him.

'Y/N’ his voice echoing through into the bathroom you were in, getting filling up a glass of water for him, clearly needing it for tomorrow. 'I’ll tell you the exact same thing tomorrow when I’m hungover. I promise you that.’

Silence fell for a few minutes as you thought of a reply, realising that there was no need to say anything, because there was Joe Sugg, curled up in a ball asleep at the top of his bed. Going over to his bed side you put down his glass of water and a box of pain killers. You stroked your hand through his hair thinking about the morning, kind of excited to see wether Joe really meant what he had said or not.

Maybe you two could work, maybe you wouldn’t. Who knows?

Title: Missed Connection
Character: Matt Murdock
A/n: I tweaked the request just a little bit because I liked the flow of this better.
Prompt: 26 - “Why shouldn’t I be so reckless?! You’re reckless all the time! Why can’t I be like you?”

You don’t necessarily remember how the argument started, but you knew that it was bound to happen at some point. You had grown suspicious of Matt’s behavior ever since Foggy told you how Matt was always showing up late to work and how he would just seem to disappear into thin air during times of crisis.

You tried to find a reasonable explanation for it at first, Matt was a sweet person and you couldn’t imagine him doing anything that awful. But after dozens of missed calls and a few trips to his apartment where no one answered the door, you began to worry.

Everytime you tried confronting him at the firm, asking if he was okay or where he’d been, Matt would just flash you that charming smile and insist he was fine, just had some business to attend to.

You saw right through it, you had always been good at sensing when something didn’t feel right.

But still, you went along with it, knowing you weren’t going to figure out anything if you came off as suspicious.

You grew up with four other siblings, so sneaking around was a natural skill.

Needless to say, when you found a masked guy who sounded an awful lot like Matt beating up some other dude who was apparently trying to take advantage of a drunken girl on the street.

You were able to put two and two together.

It took one hell of an explination from Matt at his apartment for you to understand it all.

He told you that what he did was dangerous, and that you couldn’t tell anyone for their own safety.

And you complied.

At first, you tried to offer him help. You weren’t a talented fighter like Matt, but that didn’t mean you couldn’t help him strategize and help him be more smart with how he handled his affairs.

But, of course, you were met with a simple, but stern.

“Absolutely not, I don’t want you to get more involved in this then you already are. Just let me take care of it.”

That wasn’t going to stop you from trying.

Some time had passed and one too many close calls on Matt’s life, you decided that enough was enough. He was going to accept your help weither he wanted it or not.

It was by no means your proudest moment. But you managed to follow Matt the next time he went out and ended up in an abandoned hotel on the outskirts of the city.

Matt never told you any of the details of his affairs with the bad people, but you did know that more often then not it ended in at least two people being severely injured.

You kept your distance though, knowing that if Matt saw you he might actually kill you, then proceed to give your corpse a five hour lecture about how he specifically told you not to get involved

One thing lead to another and you saw Matt was getting his ass kicked so you ripped the fire extinguisher from the wall and then snuck up behind the attacker while he was kicking Matt, who was on the ground.

There was a loud thud and both the man and the extinguisher came crashing down onto the ugly, green carpet of the hotel lobby.

Matt tore off the peice of black fabric that covered his eyes and took a minute to catch his breath before he pushed himself off the ground, leaning against the wall as he collected himself.

“I thought…I told you…to let me handle this.” Matt said, hands coming to clutch at his side as he moved to stand in front of you.

“You can’t be here.” Matt grabbed at your wrist and started dragging you away from the hotel, his focus slightly distracted by the adrenaline he could tell was coursing through you.

You both ended up at his apartment and that’s when all hell began to break loose.

“I cannot believe you would do something so stupid? I told you I had everything under control! There was no need for you to put yourself in danger like that.”

“What are you talking about? I helped you! You weren’t doing too well on your own so I decided to step in!”

“You shouldn’t have been there in the first place!”

You could see his face clearly, nothing was obstructed by a mask or glasses, but you could tell he was properly upset with you.

You sighed deeply, hands coming to tug at the lower hem of your cardigan. “Nothing absolutely terrible happened!

“It doesn’t matter! You can’t just saunter into dangerous situations you don’t understand anything about! It’s reckless and you could have gotten yourself killed!”

“Why shouldn’t I be so reckless?!” You said, harshly jabbing your finger into his chest. “You’re reckless, all the time! Why can’t I be like you?”

“Because I am not as breakable as you are, ever since you found out about this it’s been my responsibility to make sure you’re safe.”

You shook your head, and you could tell that your vision was turning watery. “I never asked you to.”

Matt’s brows lifted slightly when he heard how soft your voice had become, his hand reached out till it found yours and he instantly pulled you in for a hug. “I don’t know what I’d do with myself if you got hurt because of me, I don’t even want to think of that outcome.”

Your arms slowly came to wrap around his neck as the familiar feeling of security and warmth started to form. “Oh right, so I’m just supposed to let you get beaten up while I stand by and twiddle my thumbs.”

Matt chuckled, and his cheek nuzzled into your hair as he took in the feeling of you. Your hair was soft, and you felt nice to hold. “I’d prefer it if you didn’t have to see that part of my life at all.”

You held him tighter, the whole situation suddenly feeling very real. “I just don’t want you to get hurt. Well, that part’s inevitable, but just don’t die or anything, if you can manage it. Then I’ll be satisfied.”

Matt pulled back just enough so he could look at you, your noses barely touching one another and he could hear the sound of your steady breathing and fast heart rate. “Whatever you want.”

His voice came out as a whisper, and that was when you realized how how close he was and how intimate the whole moment felt.

Matt leaned down further and captured your lips with his, both of his hands came up to hold your face for a loving moment before he pulled away.

Your eyes had fluttered shut, but when you felt him leave, you subconsciously moved foward to graze his lips against yours again.

Matt smiled, his thumbs lightly brushing your cheeks as he felt your heart continue to beat at a fast rhythm.

But then, your eyes flew open and you pushed yourself from him.

“What’s wrong, are you alright?” Matt asked, trying to step towards you, but you moved away again.

“What?” You said with a dismissive laugh as you tried to brush it off. “Me? I-I’m fine, I just uh,” You looked back at him, a lot of emotions came flying at you at full speed. “Nothing, I’ll take your advice, keep myself in line more, nothing to worry about.”

Matt heard you shuffle about the apartment, knowing that you probably tripped over something due to the lack of light.

“(Y/n)-”

“I’ll see you tomorrow, I really have to go now. Goodnight.”

“Goodnight.” Matt tried to downplay the immense amount of hurt and rejection in his voice as he heard the door shut.

Masterlist Here!

*I work very hard on these fics and feedback is very much appreciated*

“Morning, (Y/N)!” You hear a string of your coworkers call as you walk through the front door, the jingle of its bell ringing through the shop. Looking past the counter where you’d start working in a few minutes, your eyes found a home on the blackboard above- and your shop’s name written in an exquisite cursive in the center.

The Manhattan Mocha, aka your manifestation of a dream you’d had since middle school- to own your own coffee shop. Originally you’d come to New York to go to law school- Cornell, actually- but two years in you took a look at your life and found that you hated it. The same morning you realized that even if you made it through school, the pencil pushing would never end, so you’d decided to make a change. You’d given it all up, your degree, your spot at one of the nation’s top schools, and the future financial stability you craved.

Being Patrik Laine’s older sister was amazing. He was really good brother, always taking care of you and vice versa, of course you needed to take care of your little brother. Making sure he ate healthy and many another things, what only annoying big sister does. And when he got drafted at second, you almost dragged him down to floor. You were proudest big sister in the world. Best moment in your life. Then he even took you to Winnipeg with him! Okay, he needed you to take care of his house and him. Even though he didn’t want to admit last one. Deep down you knew it. He didn’t need to tell you it.

Living in Winnipeg was like dream come true. Canada has always been interesting place and you’ve read lots of good things about it. But Winnipeg! It was perfect place to live. Patrik for sure knew that. What wouldn’t he knew? You both read each other like open book. Sometimes it was great thing but in the other hand, you really couldn’t keep anything from him. He always knew what was going in your life but you did too.

Sadly your brother didn’t really like to party. Especially now that his girlfriend from Finland was in Winnipeg. That’s why you were in club alone. You liked to go clubbing but Patrik wasn’t really that kind of person. He liked quiet nights in home but you in the other hand loved to go out and meet new people. Of course you had to do that now, you were living in big city where you had like five friends. Thanks to Patrik. You had meet few people in the club but hadn’t really stayed in touch with them. But one of guys you had know through Patrik was Nikolaj Ehlers, one of your brother’s best friends.

And thanks to Nikolaj, you now knew best clubs in Winnipeg. When you got to know him, he took you to “night club tour by Nikolaj”. It was great night but Patrik didn’t really agree with that. You were absolutely smashed after your guys little nightlife tour. But kind brother that Patrik was, he actually took care of you when you were puking out everything you have ever ate in your entire life! He even made you breakfast. What a brother!

Now you were alone at one of your favorite clubs. You had talked with few people but always got lost from them at the dance floor. But you really didn’t mind about that because every time you found yourself ordering different drinks. You wanted taste everything that you didn’t taste in Finland. As far you were loving drinks in Canada, even though you missed some Finnish drinks.

After waiting for a good ten minutes without service, you were getting frustrated with the situation. But suddenly bartender place drink in front of you, disappearing to service another customers. You didn’t even have time to ask about drink or who order it for you. You tried to watch people around you, thinking about who ordered fancy drink for you.

“Hello stranger”, you heard deep voice next to you. Turning around you saw one and only Auston Matthews next to you. How did you not notice that there were Leaf’s players in the club. Were you blind or what was wrong? You weren’t even thinking about that there might be any players in the club. Because; first, Jets’ players usually didn’t hangout at this club and second, Leaf’s has lost a game today against Jets. In your mind hockey players would stay at home or hotel if they lost. Not partying. And yes, that opinion was based on Nikolaj’s and Joel Armia’s actions.

“Oh, you’re famous Auston Matthews”, you blurted out and soon after felt kind of embarrassed. Did you really start conservation with that? You tried to laugh it off and you heard Auston chuckle. Probably wasn’t first time when he heard that.

“Yes, that’s me. But is pretty girl doing alone here?”, he answered to me and I laughed. You needed to admit that he was hotter in person than in pictures or in television. He was actually really hot. At this point you didn’t even want to tell him that you were Patrik’s older sister. Why? You had only bad memories about it. People trying to date and hook up with you because of the name, not just you. Even though he was hockey player but still and right now you didn’t want to be just Patrik Laine’s sister.

“Didn’t want to be at home. I knew I could get friends here”, you said to him. Suddenly you felt how he put hand against your lower back. It send tingles through your spine and you liked it. You even took step closer to him. Damn, he smelled nice. Like really nice. And his smile! Everything in him. Were you in heaven? What did you do in your previous life to get this?

“I see. Well then, I’m Auston and you are..”, he continued, even though at this point he knew that you knew who he was. You still laughed at him.

“I’m (Y/N), nice to meet you”, you played with him.

“Pretty name for pretty girl”. Oh, he was really flirty!

After talking hours with Auston, you were walking with him towards his hotel room. You were sure that you would regret this at morning. Patrik has told you not to hook up with any of the players. But rules are made to break, right? And right now you couldn’t really even think straight. You just walked with Auston, leaning on him little bit. Laughing at something stupid he has said.

//

You could swore that you haven’t had this bad hangover ever and waking up to phone beeping next you wasn’t nice either. It took couple seconds to understand that it was your phone that was blowing up from the amount of text messages you were getting. Yawning bit, you took your phone and looked who was texting you. Fuck, it was Patrik. Asking where you were and why didn’t you come home at night. There was even few texts from fellow Finn, Joel, telling how Patrik was losing his mind.

You took your time before texting to your brother. You watched Auston sleeping next to you, blanket on his hips, showing his muscular chest and abs. You lucky girl was all you could think. Then you snapped back to reality, thanks to Patrik. You avoided to answer him where you were but told him how you would be back soon. After texting and muting your phone, you turned to see Auston who was still sleeping. His mouth slightly open, little bit drool on his jaw. Still he looked hot with that messy dark hair.

Wanting to tease him bit, you planted little kisses to his chest and soon he woke up to that. Smiling. He wiped around his mouth and jaw, laying on his back. He was piece of art. Really.

“Good morning. I hoped you would be here when I wake up”, he told you. His voice was so sexy. Morning voice. You could swore that you were dying in this spot because how sexy he was.

“Had to break that because I need to go. My brother is losing his mind ‘cause I didn’t go to home like I promised”, you told him and laughed. He placed kiss to your lips and nodded. Probably understood that because he had sisters too. Or that’s what you read about.

“Leave me at least your phone number?”, he asked, still laying on the bed. You nodded to him.

After you were dressed you found piece of paper and a pen. Automatically you wrote your first and last names without thinking about it. No big deal, right? Then you wrote your number on the paper and left it on the table next to bed. You placed kiss on his lips and left the hotel room to go home to see your brother.

What took Auston by surprise was to see name (Y/N) Laine on the paper that you had left on his hotel room. Did he really hook up with Patrik Laine’s sister without knowing it? To someone else it wouldn’t sound bad but this would mean lots of trouble with Finnish player at the ice. That was last thing Auston wanted. But still he felt something, he was sad that you left. He would liked if you had stayed him couple hours more. He definitely would contact you even if Patrik didn’t like that. There was something in you that Auston really had liked.

HE STILL REMEMBERS. Everything―like it all happened yesterday. He remembers seeing you shiver in the cold rain with your red umbrella. He remembers how especially vibrant the red was compared to the gloomy monotonous bus station. He remembers how much he thought that umbrella was an eyesore. He remembers how you offered to share that ugly umbrella with him after seeing that nothing was protecting him except his flimsy black, black hoodie. He remembers how, even though he could only see you through the raindrops in his eyelashes, you were stunning. You leaned against him subconsciously to warm yourself, taking no notice of how his heart skipped a beat and how he closed his eyes, drinking in the moment as if it were his lifeline.

He was in love.

He is in love.
