SOME WEEKS LATER, IN A SECRET LOCATION…

“Right, I’ve called this meeting of our terrorist cell because there’s…well, there’s been a bit of a problem.”

“What is it? Have the intelligence services tracked our emails? Do we have a leak? Was it the document drop last week? I thought I smelled something funny about that one.”

“No, it’s even worse than that.”

“Well, whatever it is, I am sure we’ll be able to work out something.”

“I wouldn’t be so sure. You see…the authorities have introduced this system where everyone has to carry a card with their name on it.”

“Oh no.”

“Oh, yes.”

“But surely we can find some way to make our own fake versions of these cards?”

“A photo? The cunning bastards!”

“I know. There’s no way we can fake a small card with a name and a photograph on it. We’re terrorists, not miracle workers.”

“So this means…”

“…this means that we’ve lost, and terrorism has been stopped forever. Damn whatever genius came up with this plan. Tell the others, we all need to leave Britain immediately. We can’t be terrorists any more.”

But despite threats and brutal executions, one group of young activists refuse to be cowed. The group, known as Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently, continues to show the world what life under ISIS domination is really like, using social media to share photos, videos, and news from the city.
