not just 13 or something

A lot of people apparently think it’s a valid statement when they say that Stiles and Derek hated each other, and I wholeheartedly say, you’re wrong.

I’d like to call this my masterpost for proof that Stiles and Derek did, indeed, care for one another very much. I may not list all, but I will list the ones I find the most notable:

1. Stiles getting in Chris Argent’s face about Kate and what Kate did to Derek and his family. A lot of people look pass this scene, just a mere glance, but it truly caught my attention. I don’t think this has ever been addressed by Stiles before this scene, but in a part of Formality, Chris began questioning Stiles on what he had to do to tame Scott (trying to argue for why werewolves should be taken down) and Stiles brought up the Hale fire and immediately got upset and rather infuriated at what had happened. He knew what Kate did, knew what it did to Derek and it got to him. And that’s what got to me.

2. The iconic pool scene.

Firstly, Derek told Stiles to go protect himself, ready to fight by himself.

Now, of course, Stiles did not listen.

Secondly- wait, do I really need to explain why this scene is so important?

Stiles went back for Derek, who he claimed to hate, and saved him, kept him from drowning. (Totally screwed up his phone in the process but whateves.)

This is still one of the most notable Sterek scenes.

3. Derek saving Stiles from getting killed by Isaac.

4. Derek also protected Stiles from Peter in the hospital scene.

5. This scene.

What really got me about this one is that Stiles wasn’t that close to Boyd. He hardly even knew Boyd, but what he did know was how much Boyd meant to Derek.

What he knew was that Derek needed comfort, and he gave it in the slightest way.

It wasn’t much, just a hand on the shoulder, but he did it. He did it and this scene showed that he cared, that he was there for Derek.

6. Derek trusting Stiles over his own girlfriend.

Not to mention that later on in the episode, when Jennifer stated that she could be the only one to take them to Stiles’ dad, Derek went into full attack mode.

7. Derek being protective over Stiles, ready to chase after him because he knew what Stiles was going to do would be risky.

8. The elevator scene.

Reminder that this scene was an episode after the argument they had, on the same day and possibly an hour apart at most.

What really got me about this scene was the worry on Stiles’ face when he saw Derek laying there. He just stopped all together for a moment before moving in to help.

The evident panic in his voice as he kept on telling Derek to wake up just warmed my heart.

9. Derek was incredibly hesitant in taking Stiles down while the Nogistune had taken over him. He hardly even suggested it.

10. Stiles worrying about Derek in season 4, after he got taken. He even refused to leave without finding Derek.

11. Stiles hesitating to go save his own best friend because Derek was close to dying.

This one scene basically saved season 4. This one scene broadcasted just how much Stiles truly cares for Derek.

Guys, he hesitated to save his own best friend. Understand how major that is.

Stiles only left when Derek told him to go, demanded it, and even than he still wasn’t sure and looked back once more before going.

This scene was so significant, probably the most significant Sterek scene ever.

12. Everyone looking at Stiles before Derek left.

This may not seem like a big deal, but I take this as his friends understanding just how much Derek means to him. He had to watch Derek walk away and I feel like they got it, it just clicked.

13. Stiles smiling at Derek’s initials.

The fact that something as simple as Derek’s initials had Stiles stopping just to smile really means something.

And if that wasn’t enough to prove how much he missed Derek, remember the following episode when Scott brought Derek up?

Stiles’ pause and the look on his face and the look on Scott’s face like he knew something, knew that Derek meant more to Stiles than Stiles was saying.

14. Stiles is Derek’s anchor.

Anchor. Anchor.

This is important.

An anchor being someone you feel safe and secure around, someone who can pull you back, someone meaningful.

Stiles was that for Derek, and if that’s not enough to prove just how much Derek cares for and appreciates Stiles, I don’t know what is.

In conclusion, you can say whatever you want about Sterek but do not deny how important they were to each other. It’s ridiculous and not even an argument. In the beginning, they probably hated each other but now? You’re only playing yourself if you’re really trying to argue that they mean nothing to each other.

Rimworld is consuming my liiiiiife! *SOB*

What is it with me and games that throw randomly generated characters at you expecting them to die?? WHY DO I KEEP ADOPTING MORE CHARACTERS??!

Each one of them has their own story and this is ruining my LIFE!!

The PLL girls on their first impressions of each other-
  • Lucy: I remember thinking about Shay that she's really glamorous and beautiful, she's got great hair and she's so smart. I don't know if a lot of people know this about Shay but she's so smart and worldly and cultured and what I remember about Troian, was at the table read, I was like 'I love her voice' it was so husky and raspy and that was one of my first initial reactions. And whatever she does she does it really well, it's like annoying, but awesome at the same time. Ashley and I go way back, we met on Myspace when we were 15.
  • Ashley: Oh my god, my mermaid hair!
  • Lucy: Your mermaid hair! It was a beautiful photo.
  • Ashley: In that yellow bikini.
  • Lucy: You looked great.
  • Troian: My favourite, actually embarrassing story about the first time I experienced Sasha, was when we were in the bathroom together and I assumed that she was my age at the time, I assumed she was like young 20's. I was like washing my hands and I was like 'god, the way that you play Alison, you've got that like mean girl, like middle school mean girl vibe,' I was like 'you just brought me back to being like 12 or 13 or something like that.' And I had no idea that she was actually...
  • Sasha: 12.
  • Troian: She had just turned 12. And she was very polite about it and she was just like 'oh thank you', I just remember looking at her and being like 'yeah you've got this character down.' And I didn't realise there was like a ten year age difference between us. There was nobody else who could have played Alison, like literally nobody, we had the best Alison under the sun.
  • Shay: A funny memory I have, is from when we shot the Pilot in Vancouver, I'm from Canada so I'm used to the cold and I just remember looking at all of them with like massive jackets on and being like ... 'it wasn't that cold.'
  • Sasha: Yes it was! We were outside fighting and it started snowing.
  • Shay: From my first impression, in my mind and I was just like...
  • Troian: Look at these California bitches.

And them haters still claim that they’re fake, that it’s all about fanservice… Some just can’t stop being salty 😛
This selca is my favourite ever ❤❤❤

They keep on dropping hints even when BH tell them to ‘not be obvious’ but what can they do when Love is stronger than anything?

I'm so fed up of seeing responses like yours regarding 13 Reasons Why, it states at the beginning of the programme that it depicts graphic suicide and self harm on the episode that you're referencing and frankly, the concept that anything is 'too far for television' is ridiculous. I work as a counsellor with children and have an MsC in psychology and television shows like 13 Reasons opens up important dialogue that need to be had in the mainstream.

~~~ the guideline that you shouldn’t depict suicides or discuss suicide methods in media is an extremely common and well-known rule of suicide prevention that is in place because it is a known risk factor for suicide contagions; it’s not about something being “too far” for television so much as about violating basic public health policy ~~~
Okay. I've decided how I want it to happen on the show. Dean gets super drunk because that's how he deals with things and he's really hurting after Cas's death. And he says something to Sam about not getting to say I love you back and Sam presses him on what he means. And then Dean drunkenly confirms that he's in love with Cas. And then Sam spends the next few few episodes trying to get Dean to talk about it. And by the time Cas is back, Sam knows and is fully on board with operation destiel.
“operation destiel” feels like something the writers have had written in their office for the past four seasons. I love it.
Also dude yes. give me all the Dean emotionally confessing to Sam in some sort of drunken stupor. I need this. I also want to speculation that we may get something like this anyway in season 13 just because of how they left things and how Dean and Sam’s feelings for Cas have been so carefully separated in the text over the past 2 seasons.
I have this very similar idea for the wishlist which goes like this: Dean is just sitting by Cas’s body, frozen and disbelieving. He whispers things like “Cas, wake up…. Cas please… come on man… don’t be dead” until Sam comes back. Maybe Jack is gone I dunno, but Sam is all upset and says hes ‘so sorry’ to Dean (which is the first clue really) and then hes all logical like “we need to give him a hunters funeral” but Dean can’t do anything but just sit there so whilst Sam sorts everything out, builds a pyre, sorts out Kelly’s body for a start, Dean is just sitting there staring at Cas.
Eventually Sam comes back and is like “Dean its time” and starts to reach down to pick Cas up and then its like Dean comes back to himself and gets angry and shouts “Don’t touch him!” and Sam is confused but Dean is all “don’t you dare burn him Sammy. He’s gonna come back” and you see Sam physically shrink and his shoulders slump as he realises that Dean is in complete denial so he tries to reason with Dean and it culminates with Dean getting angrier and angrier not wanting to hear the truth until he is screaming at his brother “don’t you get it Sam? You put him on that pyre you might as well put me on it too! He’s IT for me Sammy! I… I never… he never knew… I never told him… but he was it for me… He can’t be gone Sam. We gotta get him back” and at this point Dean is only half speaking to Sam, half muttering down to Cas’s body whilst reaching out and holding his hand and Sam looks on with this look of utter realisation and kindness and also pain and he just says “Okay. We’ll find a way.” and he reaches out and grabs Dean’s shoulder and squeezes him and looks at him completely sincerely and says “we always find a way.”
And that is that. Season 13. Starts with a love confession, ends with a kiss (hopefully). This forms the basis of my wishlist. Unrealistic? Probably. But a girl can dream.
Could you maybe do something about Clay and Tony both being super protective together over Tony's sister (younger or older, doesn't really matter)
Hello~~! I completely forgot whether you wanted this as a fic or as a HC so I just did it as a HC. If you want it as a fic instead I’ll get on that asap, but for now here’s a few HC’s of Tony n Clay bein’ the cutest little shits trying to be protective over Tony’s sister!
-Don’t get me wrong Tony and Clay love their alone time but sometimes they can’t help but crack a smile when Tony’s younger sister wants to join in on whatever fun activity they’re doing
-Once, some kid picked on Tony’s sister to the point of physically bullying her, so Tony lowkey wanted to find the kid who did it an teach him a lesson. Clay had to convince him that the bully they were talking about was also 5 years old and that harassing a child may not be the brightest idea…
-Tony and Clay are ALWAYS there for her. Whenever she has something on their mind the two become Counselors of the Year™
-When Tony’s sister is older and starts to bring boys home, Tony gets super protective over her supervising the entire time, and asking him unnecessary questions. Clay is just happy that she’s happy.
-Tony always gets nervous about his sister when she leaves the house alone due to the way the police are in his neighborhood. If he could, he’d be there to protect her at all times
-Clay absolutely LOVES her. End of story. Sometimes Tony is led to believe he likes spending more time with his little sister than with him.
