not gonna mention that at all

5

Since i got like 30 notes on that post i wrote (although i had 0 followers lol) i thought id share my thoughts again to you guys.
Im gonna be doing another reiner rant, so.. lots of people were so pissed at reiner for talking shit about the 104th and his comrades, the first thing I’ll be commenting on this (in a long list of comments) is the following ;
•he fucking had to, lest he risked his family being sent to paradis and labeled as traitors
•gabi! If gabi starts having second thoughts on the paradis islanders it could lead to her death, shes already confused about reiner mentioning diversity between the people and all that.
•reiner most probably has to keep the paradis island propaganda intact, like imagine if reiner starts telling all the soldiers about paradis island and how people there are actually like ? How do you think it’ll turn up.
•now i dive into the ‘him hating them’ point; i really dont know.. reiner talking about how his time was hell there and the demons and inhumane bastards may either be referring to the titans themselves and the constant threat and fear or the actual people (though i doubt it, or maybe the warrior persona actually hates them? And the soldier one likes them? Idk i hope he likes them), and since riener is the sole survivor of his squad his hate would be justified ( lost his best friend, annie and marcel.. all of them to the island/eldians )
•This is gonna be the part where all the reiner hate originated from, potato girl. Let me highlight something which im sure many bigger accounts probably covered, the him covering his mouth part.. this could have two meanings; either remembering all the people, his comrades, friends, his time there and how he hated everybody made him sick to his stomach , or he almost launched his ass off remembering sasha’s potato ordeal . I personally prefer (prefer doesn’t begin to explain how much i want the second option to be true) the second one, notice how when he remembers he immediately covers his hand and can be seen smiling/smirking in the second page? He remembered the potato thinge and he almost smiled in front of everybody because of it (which would confuse gabi more), someone like that has to atleast bear some love to his old friends, the ones he’d blindly risk his life for, the ones who’d blindly risk their lives for him.
They’ve been through some shit together and i refuse to believe reiner hates them.
I would talk more about him talking about his former comrades but there isnt much to say.
Anyways if youve made it this far thanks for reading this, i really hope in the future we get to see all of them talk about what happened and try to make up or at least some kind of closure between them all, one can hope..one can only hope.
If you want me to write more please tell me and ill galdly do.

…What.

ARE WE GONNA GET HIS BACKSTORY I THOUGHT WE WOULDN’T GET ANYTHING ELSE.

Is he like secretly a celestial? But I think the celestials would still want to murder the shit out of someone who went into piracy. Like Doffy’s family didn’t even become pirates and they wanted to murder all of them. So like what the fuck who IS he? Is he like….an important pawn somehow and the government wants him so they can do the random thing? IS HE SECRETLY DESCENDED FROM WIZARDS.

Guess it’s time to mention again, but Sanji means “third son” so I theorized a while ago that he has two older siblings. NOW IT’S GOING TO BE FALSIFIABLE.

Hopefully.

After that ET interview... i know Marlene lies all the time and we shouldn't trust her but i have a very weird feeling that Toby is gonna be AD. Especially because she kept such a straight face when Twincer was brought up and she didnt seem like feared to accidentally spill something about it when it was brought up. Plus, why mention the chances of Toby being AD is slim? Just to make it more shocking when it is him. Plus, then you have the whole Toby wasn't in 7x19 thing... hmm..

Isn’t it absolutely hilarious that the executive producer and writer of the series finale flat out tells us “the chances of Toby being AD are slim” (direct quote) and none of us take it seriously? I think Toby theories are still equally as valid even after she said that. Her words mean nothing anymore.

how are people justifying that f!handers is inherently abusive lmao??? like i literally mean how are people doing it i've not seen it before but i don't put it past people

So I’m gonna explain the issues between the fhanders and mhanders fandoms now, because this is not new.

1.  If you look at old fhanders fics, they are all abusive and terrible for the most part, a lot of ‘fix it’ fics where Anders is ‘cured’ of Justice and all his mental illnesses too.

2.  old fhanders fandom used to do this to mhawke posts:  http://arwingyoshi.tumblr.com/post/159663659062/i-got-a-why-is-dude-hawke-so-popular-tag-am-i

3.  However, mhanders people have said he should “basically be gay” because of how much better in game he responds to mhawke than fhawke, but this is only because of hepler’s writing.  Which I’m not even saying Anders should be counted as canonically sexist anymore, because Sebastian also says some sexist things in game, so basically Hepler should never be allowed to write men, because they always turn out sexist in her writing.  However, this does not make Anders less bi and the mhanders fandom needs to stop.

4.  I’ve seen accusations of ‘you’re misogynistic because you prefer mhawke’, or ‘you’re homophobic if you prefer fhawke’ thrown around from both sides of the fandom.  My opinion: you’re biphobic if you say any of these things, and Anders is BI regardless.

The fandom has been splintered for a VERY long time, I am only now truly trusting parts of the fhanders fandom because I’ve been around this fandom long enough to see all of it.  I’m mhanders personally, but Anders is bi, him and fhawke isn’t inherently abusive, and the biphobia in this fandom has to stop.

Just had a MENTAL thought. What if Ezra is AD, and Wren is involved, but not in a bad way. Say he's Arias cousin, the son of her dads brother, who had mental problems (like wren says his dad does), and he gets close to Melissa/Spencer to watch over his cousin, who doesn't know they're related, and he kills Ezra before Aria finds out why and that's the whole, "I can't bury Ezra" thing. Maybe he was doubling bluffing, helping CeCe and Ezra to figure it all out?

Maaaaaybe. Lots of people seem to think Wren’s a good guy now lol. I’ve always loved the idea of Wren being Scott’s son, but at this point, it’s never gonna happen. He hasn’t been mentioned since season 2 so no-one (except fans on our level) would know wtf was going on. If he is a good guy, I think it’s gonna be for different reason. Which makes me sad because this idea has always been a favourite of mine, they’ve just made it clear to me that it won’t happen.

Hidan, Kisame, and Kakuzu Reacting to Their Fem!S/o Telling Them They’re Pregnant

@lilysflowershop here you go darling! I hope you don’t mind but I’m splitting your request up into two parts for the sake of length. But I’m working on Itachi and Konan’s headcanons now!! Thanks for the support and thanks for the request, hope you enjoy!

Trigger Warning: I do mention abortion (referred to as termination in this case)

Other than that, this post is SFW, it’s just long.

Hidan:

  • We’re gonna start with him because why not?
  • Out of all of them he is certainly NOT the happiest person about this. He did not have kids ANYWHERE on his life agenda.
  • Oh gosh, I feel really bad for his s/o because she knows that kids were not on his life agenda and she’s mortified to tell him. Hell, she probably doesn’t tell him first because she’s that scared. She’ll probably confide in Konan or Kakuzu (I have a feeling that Kakuzu and Hidan’s s/o get a long very well). If she confides in Konan, she comforts Hidan’s s/o. If she confides in Kakuzu, he’s gonna be likes “…Well when are you going to tell him? Why are you telling me?” - although Kakuzu is generally concerned, he’s not going to admit it and still be his frigid self.
  • His s/o would catch him in a good mood before she tells him at all, that’s the key to all of this. The man has a short fuse, his s/o doesn’t need it taken out on her or their unborn child.
    • “H-Hey Hidan. How’re you?”
    •  “Pretty alright. Sasori and Deidara took the mission Kakuzu and I were supposed to have so we get to stay back and relax. Which means you and I can relax…or do something more fun.
    • “Heh-heh, yeah…about that…”
    • “Are you feeling alright? You look, well, like shit.”
    • “Hidan. If I tell you something, do you promise not to get mad…?” “Depends. What is it?”
    •  “Well…”
    •  “Spit it out dammit.”
    • “I’m pregnant.”
    •  Silence for .5 seconds and then “SON OF A MOTHER F—— @$!&&&!#@$!)
  • The first thing Hidan does after she tells him is take the box of condoms from the bed side table and set them on fire. Calling them “fucking useless” in the process. He doesn’t even look at his s/o, he can’t bring himself to. He’s spewing cuss words like no tomorrow, his s/o is on the verge of tears, it is a mess. After the condoms are gone he grabs his scythe and mutters something about “going to make a sacrifice” and leaves without even a glance. Although, he definitely knows that his s/o is crying when he leaves.
  • Hidan is feeling a whole bag of emotions, he can’t even sacrifice right. He builds the alter wrong, he fails to catch a victim, he’s a mess. He can’t wrap his head around the fact that there is someone who’s carrying his offspring. And they were so careful because this is literally the last thing they wanted, the last thing he wanted!
  • Hidan is extremely mad, but it’s not the dry type of mad he would get when an enemy pisses him off. It was more of the wet type of mad that he experiences with his s/o. This type of mad comes with wet eyes and a closed off throat. He’s just so pissed that he wasn’t more careful. Maybe he should’ve done more than just condoms, maybe he and his s/o should’ve gone with the morning after pill, or have some back-up for their back-up. And now his s/o has to go through all this trouble while he just watches?
  • Hidan is one of the Akatsuki who I think is VERY protective of his s/o. This is due to him being immortal: he’s immortal, they are not, there is the possibility that he can lose them. So when in battle or any dangerous situation, he usually takes all of their hits and keeps them safe. Let’s be real though, once your Hidans you’re his for good. And he’s pissed because he can’t protect them from. He’s not that stupid, he knows how childbirth works and he can only imagine the complications to go with it. He can’t protect them from this, he got them into this, and he’s beating himself up over it.
  • Oh and he’s practically pissing himself at the thought of raising a child. He doesn’t even know where to begin, how do you change a diaper? What the hell is a bassinet? He doesn’t even know that you’re supposed to warm a bottle before feeding a baby. The only thing he knows about babies is that they’re annoying, they cry, they smell, and suck the life out of you. He’s SO not on board for any of that, it’s just not the life for him.
    • Also, I fully believe that the idea of a child doesn’t appeal to him because he’s immortal. He does not age, his kid does, his s/o does. He hates the idea that one day his kid is going to be older than him and will age past him and die (same deal with his s/o). He doesn’t want to have to watch that, it’s one of his greatest fears. Don’t bring it up unless you want to die.
  • He’s going to blow off the sacrifice and wipe his eyes, he’d never hear the end of it if he was caught crying. He’s going to go back and try to talk it out with his partner and convince them to…terminate things. But when he gets back to the hideout and hears his s/o sobbing to Konan about how he’s going to leave her and the baby, how she’s going to leave tomorrow morning and never come back, how she’s going to raise the child alone. That breaks him  ~ oh yeah, Hidan is obnoxious, loud, hot-headed, cruel, mean, you name it. But he still has a heart and still loves his s/o.
  • He has a sudden change of heart and leaves once more, only this time to go to a neighboring town. He’ll come back hours later, in the dead of night and while everyone is asleep. He’d enter his and his s/o’s room and find them packing. She just assumed he wouldn’t want her after this, terrible things assumptions are. The two would make eye contact, she having tear stained cheeks, he with his normal look. He would toss a bag at her before ditching the scythe and flopping onto the bed. She would be confused, but open the bag regardless. In it she would find two things: a tiny Akatsuki cloak and another -little-  jashin necklace. His girlfriend would be choked up, ‘Could this mean?’
  • He’d interrupt her train of thought by saying, “So. Are you coming to bed or what?” His girlfriend would drop everything and practically jump on him and cry into his chest. He’d react with something like,”Hey! Quit the cryin’ and get some sleep, for the love of Jashin.”
  • Hidan realized that the two had a lot to prepare for and even though he knew that his child would age and die, he figured that if he was going ever have a family, it was going to be the woman he was with now and with the child growing in her womb.

Kisame:

  • FISH DAD
  • I should have probably said this with Hidan, BUT NONE OF THE AKATSUKI ARE ACTIVELY TRYING TO GET THEIR GF PREGNANT. They are literally in the most dangerous organization in the world, constantly being targeted, there is no room for babies.
  • So when Kisame’s s/o discovers that she’s pregnant, she is having a god damn heart attack. (All of the s/o’s, besides maybe Itachi’s and Konan’s, is freaking tf out). She’s pregnant…with Kisame Hoshigaki’s baby. One of the infamous members of the seven ninja swordsman, had she not been so consumed with fear she would have felt a sense of pride.
  • She throws the pregnancy test away and just fades out of reality. She’s still physically conscience but mentally…not so much. She ends up leaning against the bed, bringing her knees to her chest and just…fades out.
  • When Kisame comes into the room he’s in a mood. He just came back from a long mission, he didn’t get enough fighting in, and he’s riled up. He begins to go on a rant about the enemy and how he could have finished them off had it not been for Itachi. He keeps talking not even noticing his s/o until after he throws his sword across the room and sees her flinch. He’ll actually freak out a little bit because he has never seen her like this. He’d get down to her level and talk to her, gently, completely forgetting that he was pissed.
    • “Hey, what happened to you?”
    •  “…” She keeps quiet, and doesn’t make eye contact
    • “Babe, c’mon. Talk to me.” She’d look into his eyes and be brought back into reality, and then completely lose it. She’d start to ball her eyes out and then he’d freak the fuck out because his strong s/o is crying??? Now he’s more determined to find out who made her cry,
    • “Tell me what happened!”
    •  “I-I’m p-pregnant.” And then just like her, he freezes and takes a seat next to her.
  • His s/o leans into his shoulder and cries, he throws an arm around her subconsciously and then just sits there and contemplates life and the news he was just given.
  • First and fore-most he becomes scared for his s/o’s safety. When Kisame decided to pursue his current s/o, he told her how dangerous it could be and asked if they really wanted to get involved with him. Because it’s never just him, it’s the Akatsuki. And he told them that they would automatically become a target because they’re an S-Rank criminal and because they’re his s/o. People would stop at nothing to use her to get to him. But she didn’t care, she went with him. And of course since then he has always been concerned for her safety, but she proved herself worthy and strong so his worry began to ease up. BUT NOW, the game has changed. Now there is a child in the mix. His child. His girlfriend can’t defend herself anymore and if people find out about this, they will use his child to get to him and he can’t stand that. So now Kisame is feeling that weight on his shoulder.
  • Number two, Kisame is thinking about the genetics of the child. If we are to assume that he was born and raised as half-human, half-fish, then the odds of his child coming out that way are super high. And he doesn’t want that at all. I think one of the reasons Kisame became so strong is because he was probably picked on by the other kids in his village for the way he looked. This is probably also the reason why he likes to fight so much, he was constantly challenging the bullies in his neighborhood. I mean, he’s gotten over it now because he’s found people who look past his looks and love him for his internal beauty. But he got tormented a lot, he wouldn’t wish that pain and suffering in his worst enemy let alone his own child.
  • Then, something he’s thinking about that Hidan didn’t even think about, what is the leader going to say about this? Is he going to banish his s/o? Kill her? Kill the unborn child? Kick him AND her out? The Akatsuki really don’t have a policy on babies because they never thought that they would need it. If Pein thinks he can do ANYTHING to Kisame’s s/o, he’s surely mistaken.
  • Finally, while I do think Kisame has a strong paternal instinct, he still doesn’t know much about raising kids. He’s hostile and sadistic, two traits that don’t exactly make for a great parent. He knows this, but he’s not about to change because he’s not like that.
  • Kisame would ask his girlfriend what she would want to do, considering it is her body (Konan probably gave all the guy members a week of feminism and women’s rights education, so all the guys are really respectful) and it is her child too. If she does not want it, he totally respects that. But if she does want the baby, things are going to change. First, he’s going to hand his s/o over to Itachi as a precaution while he goes off to tell Pein. Assuming all is okay there, Kisame is taking her off duty immediately, he’s not risking anything.
  • He’d have a long talk with her about other things, what to expect from him, what he expects from her, and they would definitely talk about where she would stay. He can’t have her roaming the streets because she’ll be targeted and he cannot have the enemy finding out she’s pregnant. But is the Akatsuki base REALLY that ideal? It would all be things to work out as the months go by.
  • But after that talk, they would just call it a night and head off to bed. And right before they go to sleep Kisame mumbles something about how he’s going to protect both of them and then proceeds to holding his s/o tighter.

Kakuzu:

  • Due to his medical expertise, he’s going to know his partner is pregnant before she does. He’s going to see some of the symptoms (nausea, back-pain, he’s gonna notice she missed her period) and then casually go up to her - in private - and ask her to take a pregnancy test.
    • “Well, what does it say?”
    • “Positive.”
    • Cue a deep sigh from Kakuzu, “well shit.”
  • Between Kisame and Hidan, Kakuzu is the type to take it…better than them. He’s not going to burn anything like Hidan, he’s not going to freeze like Kisame. He’s just going to sit down with his s/o and think.
  • The first thought that comes to mind is that he is going to be the oldest father in the world. He’s going to have a newborn at 91! Grant it he is “immortal”, but at he same time it’s just like…”I’m too old for this. I don’t have time for this.” (when he literally has all the time in the world)
  • The second thought that comes to mind is that he is in the Akatsuki, his partner is in the Akatsuki, they both probably have high bounty’s on their head (they all do, but I’m sure there is a pecking order), this is literally the worst thing to happen to them. His partner’s bounty would probably go up if people found out she was carrying his child, and Kakuzu knows how far he would go for a high bounty so he’s imagining how far the enemies would go to get to his partner. That thought doesn’t sit well with him. And if she goes the whole 9 months then she certainly can’t protect herself because, HELLO, B-A-B-Y.
  • Also, babies are expensive, something that also doesn’t sit well with him. It costs $12,000 dollars for the first year alone (according to American statistics). Kakuzu is not about to pay all of that, he has the cash don’t get me wrong, but he barely shares with his s/o so why would he share with his child?
  • Let’s not forget Kakuzu is also looking at this from a medical perspective, he’s going through the list of things that could go wrong, all the medical expenses (I don’t think the akatsuki would have a sonogram on hand, but that’s just me), and the more he thinks about it, the more he is not liking the idea of this whole pregnancy thing.
    • I don’t think Kakuzu would have a problem raising a child, given his age he’s probably had experience in his life. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gotten someone pregnant when he was in his 30’s. But he left them when the child was still fairly young because his greed got the better of him and domestic life was never quite his style
  • And that’s another thing, Kakuzu isn’t the type to settle down. I could see Kisame slowly switching to that lifestyle, Hidan maybe (that’s a weak maybe), but Kakuzu is too greedy to settle down. He wants to keep collecting money until he kicks the bucket.
  • So, after thinking it over, he would talk with his partner about it. He would be blunt with his concerns and definitely use a logical approach to the situation. I think, given his lack to change, his age, and their occupation, he and his partner would turn to termination or giving the child up for adoption.
  • (I’m sorry if that’s upsetting, but I seriously do not see Kakuzu wanting or having children in present-day canon!verse)

I can see part 5 Koichi on the horizon… and with him comes the dawn of the Vento Aureo anime (hopefully)…

have you accepted Damon Albarn as your lord and savior?

because Humanz is a revelation.

AND THIS IS ALL WITHOUT FUCKING MENTIONING HUNTOKAR, THE BLOOD-SPACE-WAR, THE END OF THE WORLD, OR THE RUSSIAN STUFF.

so i just wanted to make a post with all of my favorite Bakugou moments

(this was gonna be a post about bakugou-isms. like. moments where bakugou has said/done something inspiring or wise. but. ended up getting carried away jkl;agha)

anyway i apologize because. this is gonna be long

1. Bakugou declaring that he refuses to lose to anyone again, recognizing that there are other people who are stronger than him that he needs to surpass.

i just really enjoy this moment, because it was a big wake-up call for his character to realize that he isn’t the best, there are people in the world who can surpass him, and that he needs to work harder to reach his goals. the world isn’t as black and white as he thought, and it’s his first step to his major development later on.

2. Bakugou calmly analyzing the situation at USJ

i really like this moment b/c it’s s fascinating to watch Bakugou explain that none of their classmates are in danger, and that they should instead go and capture Black Mist, because he’s how the Villains got in in the first place.

it shows that he’s far more than just a violent, angry, rage machine. underneath it all, he’s actually far more intelligent than he seems, and this scene is one of the first that really showcases that

(this is also the moment where Kirishima finally begins to trust him; before this, he was really wary of Bakugou because of how violently he went after Izuku during the Heroes vs. Villains exams (he was seriously worried that Bakugou would kill Izuku). it’s only after this moment where Kirishima changes his initial opinion of Bakugou and begins to trust him)

3. Bakugou explaining that a quirk is nothing more than an extension of a person’s body

i just really love that, of all the characters to do this, it’s Bakugou that explains that even quirks have their limits. it’s a very introspective moment that reminds the audience that these amazing powers aren’t limitless, and that even Bakugou, despite his pride and stubbornness, knows he has limits to what he can do

4. Bakugou’s SHEER GODDAMN TENACITY DURING THE CAVALRY BATTLE

KID JUST REFUSES TO GO DOWN AND BY DOING SO, HE INSPIRES HIS TEAMMATES WITH HIS DETERMINATION AND DESIRE TO WIN AND THEY IN TERN BECOME DETERMINED TO WIN AND NOTHING IS GONNA STOP HIM FROM BECOMING NUMBER ONE AND IT’S JUST SO AWESOME AND ENERGETIC AND  I LOVE IT

5. Bakugou acknowledging Uraraka’s strength

PRETTY SELF EXPLANATORY, TBH. i love how he refuses to cal her weak in any capacity, defending her against Kaminari’s words. he fought her. he knows better than anyone here that she is anything but weak. and this is the first moment where he’s vocally defending another person, which i love b/c it’s another step in his character development

6. Bakugou telling off Todoroki for standing before him without the intent to win

this scene really shows a lot of what motivates Bakugou’s character. He wants to win against Todoroki–who’s one of the strongest in the class–and prove himself as the best. But Todoroki isn’t really fighting back, because he’s going through personal issues, which is understandable and under no fault of his own.

tbh, i think it’s an interesting point to think about, because everyone at the Sports Festival is here to win. they’re all trying their best–Bakugou, Izuku, Uraraka (who Bakugou even alludes to in his rant above), Momo, etc. and it is kind of insulting to fight someone who isn’t even really trying to fight back against you in a tournament where that’s the entire purpose of it all.

that’s why Bakugou fought so hard against all of his opponents, because they all got to this level. he’s showing them respect by not going easy on them. and Bakugou finds it extremely insulting that Todoroki isn’t. i just find it a fascinating aspect to his character. it’s kind of an off-shoot of a ‘warrior’s code’ sort of thing

7. Bakugou refusing to accept his win at the Sports Festival

again, i think it shows an interesting aspect of his character, because he feels like this win wasn’t deserved, because Todoroki didn’t give it his all. it’s a hollow win, and Bakugou knows it, and he refuses to accept it.

8. the strength of Bakugou’s ideal of what a hero should be and his SHEER GODDAMN TENACITY DURING THE END OF TERM EXAM

I just love that his ideal of what a hero should be is based on All Might, the ultimate hero, who NEVER loses. this his why he became a hero in the first place, this is what motivates him in everything he does. to Bakugou, real heroes never lose, so he absolutely has to win. always.

and i love how he just refuses to give up–maybe it’s not always the greatest thing (pushing himself too far and all) but i find that really admirable too. no matter what, he just refuses to give up, and i love that (even if it isn’t exactly the best thing sometimes). he’s gonna do everything in his power to win, because that’s what heroes do, and nothing short of being knocked unconscious is gonna stop him.

9. Bakugou absolutely fucking REFUSING to join the Villain Alliance, practically BLOWING SHIGARAKI’S FACE UP WHILE DOING SO, because no matter what they say, he’s going to be a HERO, and goddammit.

he was inspired by All Might, that’s the person who motivated him to become a hero in the first place, that’s the person who he’s admired since he was a child, and the person he wants to become like. and nothing in this world is going to change that.

10. Bakugou refusing to lie, even when he’s been kidnapped and surrounded by villains.

i just find it fascinating that this is one of his personal morals, and that he (like All Might) doesn’t lie. he may be in denial more often than not, but he never lies.

11. Aizawa defending Bakugou against the reporters

i just love how Aizawa understands Bakugou, how he realizes that Bakugou is no way in danger of becoming a villain. how Bakugou’s motivations come from an different place entirely. how it all comes from his ideal of strength, and of what a hero should be. i just really love that.

12. Bakugou thanking All Might for saving him.

this is the third time All Might saved Bakugou. the first time, in chapter one, Bakugou was in complete denial. he didn’t need saving. he didn’t need anyone. how dare anyone think he needed rescuing?

the second time, at the Villain’s Alliance base, he was, again, in denial. he didn’t need All Might to come save him; even if he was happy and relieved that All Might was there, he wasn’t gonna admit to it. no way. absolutely not.

the third time… All Might saved him (and everyone at Kamino) by fighting against AFO. by refusing to go down. by using the last of his strength to defeat AFO, revealing his secret to the world, giving up OFA, and retiring for good.

Bakugou feels guilty for this. he feels like the cause of All Might’s retirement. for getting kidnapped in the first place. for not being strong enough to save himself. so this time, he’s without denial or bluster. instead, he quietly thanks All Might for saving him, because he knows what All Might gave up to do it.

it’s a big moment of character growth for him. prior to all of that, Bakugou never would’ve done that. but the weight of All Might’s sacrifice was just too much, it humbled him. he couldn’t deny it anymore. so he sincerely thanked All Might for saving him, for the first time, quietly admitting to his weakness.

13. Bakugou giving Kirishima back the money he used to buy the night vision goggles for the rescue mission (learning about it from Kaminari), while also cheering the class up after Aizawa scolded them, by making Kaminari fry his brain and making them all laugh.

just… what a fantastic moment of character growth from Bakugou. he felt guilty for Kirishima using his money to buy those goggles (which ended up getting destroyed during the mission), and he feels bad for being the reason why class getting reprimanded in the first place. so he fixes both situations as best he can, while still being his gruff, grumpy self.

he gives back the money, and cheers the class up at the same time. and Aizawa totally catches onto it, too. “A farce like this has it’s place once in a while, I suppose.” it just shows that Bakguou actually does care about his class, Kirishima in particular.

it shows that he cares his friends and his class, and i love that

14. Kaminari talking about Bakugou during the Provisional License Exam

Kaminari mentions how the insulting words Seiji is throwing at them stings, and Sejii assumes Kaminari is talking about himself. he isn’t. Kaminari corrects him while throwing one of Bakugou’s grenades, which gives a visual cue of who he’s talking about. Bakugou.

Bakugou got angry at Seiji’s words. he charged in recklessly because he couldn’t stand the insults to UA anymore. he got upset at hearing the people he cares about be insulted. and then Kaminari goes on to say/think about how Bakugou wasn’t using the full force of his attacks.

he was purposefully using lower-powered blasts in order to keep Kirishima and Kaminari safe. he purposefully put himself at a disadvantage just so he wouldn’t accidentally hurt them with the force of his attacks.

Kaminari realizes this and praises Bakugou, defends him against Seiji’s words. he may not have the kindest or sweetest personality, but he’s serious about being a hero. he’s serious about keeping them safe. he’s serious about everything, and he can’t stand hearing Seiji insult him, the people he cares about, or UA.

15. Bakugou’s guilt at causing All Might’s retirement.

oh my god, save this child. save him. he completely, totally blames himself for causing the person he admires the most, the person who inspired him to become a hero, the man who’s motivated him since he was a child, to fall.

he’s just 15. he’s just a child. and he feels guilty for this, he’s feeling the full weight of it on his shoulders, breaking down from it all, and he doesn’t know how to handle it. he’s scared. he’s terrified. he feels horrible. the number 1 hero in the world was forced to retire and it’s all his fault

he’s been blaming himself for this for weeks. he’s just a child. he isn’t responsible for any of it, but he feels like he is. if only he were stronger, if only he got away on his own power, if only he did this or that, maybe All Might would still be a hero. if only he wasn’t so weak.

i love this moment, as painful as it is, because it shows just how human Bakugou is. it shows that he really is just a child dealing with horrible guilt, among other emotional issues (feeling like Izuku was looking down at him for all these years, being terrified that Izuku could one day surpass him, realizing that All Might acknowledged Izuku over him, having a superiority and inferiority complex that just exploded, feeling desperate for an answer over what he should do, and who was right in how they admired All Might (Bakugou for how he always wins, Izuku for how he always saves people with a smile, etc)).

in the end, he’s still just a child. a child dealing with so much more than he ever let on until this fight, where it all exploded out of him, because he just didn’t know how to handle them. he couldn’t bottle it up anymore.

(i will never, ever excuse or justify any of the horrible things Bakugou did in the past. what he did was inexcusable. but god.. he’s still just a child.)

i love this moment because he’s so scared, terrified, upset, confused, desperate and just so damn human in this moment, and i love it. he’s not just an angry kid. he’s not just a violent, rage machine. there are so many emotions that drive him and i love it so much.

16. Bakugou supporting Izuku after their fight

i just…. really love this. Bakugou has had so many issues with Izuku in the past, many of them stemming from misunderstandings. as mentioned above, he thought Izuku was looking down on him. he was terrified of Izuku’s growth, feared that one day he could actually surpass him one day. but now they’ve talked. now they understand each other better. now Izuku has the support of All Might… and he can’t be losing.

(and again, none of those reasons justify what Bakugou did to Izuku for those ten years. but they explain why he did it in the first place. i just want to emphasize that)

to Bakugou, real heroes never lose. Bakugou is applying that to Izuku, now. he’s got the greatest hero in the world helping him, and he can’t be losing. Bakugou, in his own way, is supporting Izuku. it’s one of the biggest moments of character growth for him. for the longest time, he was terrified of Izuku. scared he’d be left behind while Izuku grew stronger. but now he’s putting that aside.

Izuku has All Might’s power. he has All Might’s support. they both admired him… and now Izuku is being supported by him. so now Bakugou will, too.

Izuku has the greatest hero in the world looking after him. he can’t be losing now. not anymore.

17. Bakugou encouraging Kirishima

i just…. look at how far Bakugou has come. he went from being terrified of others being better than him–of not being as great as he grew up believing–and now he’s supporting Izuku (the person who scared and frustrated him the most), and now he’s actively giving encouragement and helping his friend.

hell. Bakugou has friends now. he didn’t have any at the beginning of the series; he was to full of pride to see anything but  himself. but now he does, and he’s giving them encouragement. giving Kirishima encouragement. and he’s doing so by drawing from the Kamino incident, the very incident that gave him so much guilt and confusion and pain. the incident that probably gave him nightmares for who knows how long.

he’s bringing up that incident to comfort and support and encourage his friend. he’s talking about how there are different kinds of strength out there–that just refusing to go down is it’s own strength. this from the kid who’s entire philosophy on heroism is to never lose.

he’s not scared of being surpassed. he’s got friends now. he’s helping and supporting them in his own way. he’s not afraid to think of the very incident that caused him so much pain; he’s healing from it, slowly. he’s learned from it. he’s slowly accepting that it wasn’t his fault. he’s admitting that there are other kinds of strength out there, besides just winning. it’s about refusing to go down (like All Might did at Kamino).

this is one of my favorite moments, even tho it’s so short, because it’s a culmination of Bakugou’s character development so far in the story. it’s a small moment, but it wouldn’t mean anything without the hundred or so chapters proceeding it, showing all of Bakugou’s complexities, and all of his personal issues, motivations, emotional struggles, etc.

this moment is great because it shows just how far Bakugou has come since chapter one. he’s almost a completely different character than who he was, where he began. and that’s why i love it so much

long story short Bakugou is an incredibly complex kid and i love him a lot

hey so i know i dont usually post about romanian things but i need to say this

so last night (yes, in the middle of the fucking night, like the filthy thieves they are) the romanian government passed a law that, basically, makes corruption legal (if its under 45k euros, which is a LOT) AND they’re going to let all the (few) people who (they barely) arrested for this out of prison…

i know this isnt as important to america as trump, but this is HUGE to us. there were (as far as i know) 90 thousand people protesting last night (the last time there were protests this big was in 1989 when communism fell, just to give you a perspective) and there are going to be even more today

this country has had problems with corruption since the dawn of time but i dont reckon it ever being made LEGAL. i just figured id bring some awareness to this…

here and here are two sources

I’m gonna cry

So Jack is finally ready to move and his recording space is now completely empty, well except for the foam padding on the walls.

I’m really gonna miss this recording space, not for the background in the videos that I’m used to but for the memories that were had there.

When Jack first moved from the cabin in the woods to this apartment, he didn’t yet have a million subscribers but it wasn’t long after that that he hit this amazing milestone!

He had his first in-person collab with one of his friends in collage (his roommate at the time)

His internet got better XD

He dyed his hair green for charity

It’s so sad to leave the recording space apartment there

But

This is only the beginning of an even bigger adventure we’re gonna go on as a community family and do more amazing stuff.

Go on more adventures

Do greater things

Meet so many new people

And have as much fun while we can :D

Also laugh at the silly things Jack Sean posts for us on YouTube, Instagram or Twitter

So this journey might seem tough, might seem scary but the change it’ll bring will be SO worth it in the end <3
