Colorado mosque vandalized as suspect throws rocks, Bible through glass doors

  • Police in Fort Collins, Colorado, are looking for a person caught on surveillance video throwing rocks and a Bible through the glass doors of a local mosque, the Denver Post reported.
  • The incident took place at roughly 4 a.m. Mountain on Sunday at the Islamic Center of Fort Collins, roughly a one-hour drive north of Denver.
  • “[We] would urge state and federal law enforcement authorities to investigate the possibility of a bias motive for this attack on a house of worship,” Ibrahim Hooper, national communications director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said in a statement. Read more (3/27/17 12 PM)

The result is our 17th annual Best Places for Business and Careers. Denver, Colo. ranks no. 1 for the first time, moving up from their fourth place finish in 2014. The Denver-Aurora-Lakewood metro of 2.8 million people is attractive for its diverse economy, highly educated labor force and outdoor lifestyle. Companies are increasingly choosing Denver for business expansions or relocations.


The Best Big Cities For Jobs 2015

Topping our annual ranking of the best big cities for jobs are the main metro areas of Silicon Valley: the San Francisco-Redwood City-South San Francisco Metropolitan Division, followed by San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara, swapping their positions from last year.

Cards (and How We Play Them) - Chapter 4

Hi all! This has been a crazy few weeks, and then before I went out of town, my computer broke and I had to purchase a new one, which isn’t truly that much of a big deal except I had several chapter of Cards written on that one so I’ve sort of had to go back to the drawing board! That being said, regular posting will resume, so the next chapter should be out either next Monday or the following one. I am also trying to bang out the last few Open When’s, as those were also finished and on my other laptop. Thank you all for your continued support and patience!
