Norman Reedus is used to taking on challenging roles, whether that be Actor, Artist, Director or Father. Most famously, Norman has starred in AMC’s mega-hit ‘The Walking Dead’ as the kick-ass southern zombie killer, Daryl Dixon. He recently wrapped production on season 3 of AMC’S unscripted series, 'Ride With Norman Reedus’, an unscripted show which follows Norman and a close friend as they tour America by motorbike.
With over 20 years of acting under his belt, he found himself looking for a new challenge. Utilising his ability to bring dynamic and interesting characters to life, he is turning his talent to music, most specifically spoken word. Norman has begun to collaborate with longtime friend Howie B on an electronic, experimental, spoken word album the likes of which haven’t been seen before. He and Howie first met in an Igloo in Gestad 20 years ago and immediately bonded over their shared passion for music and artistic creation. His love of music spans genres in true Pussyfoot style from Charles Mingus to Willie Nelson with a spot of Led Zeppelin and Laurie Anderson in between. Norman has always listened to music to help him through any new challenge -artistic or otherwise- which is why his step into the music world is such a natural one.
Norman is also an accomplished photographer as well as a burgeoning director having directed three short films. In October 2013, he released 'The Sun’s Coming Up… Like a Big Bald Head: Photographs by Norman Reedus’, a book of his photography. We are so excited to add Norman’s creative drive to the Pussyfoot family!
