norabug replied to your post“Daddy?” Jinora tugged on Tenzin’s robes, looking up at him and hoping that he wasn’t busy with something else. “Daddy, I can’t find Mommy. Do you know where she is?”

“I was hoping to get something to eat,” she said, looking down and furrowing her brow. “The Acolytes won’t let me get anything because they’re all too busy and I can’t do it by myself.”

“Well then, I’ll help you, little heart,” Tenzin kissed the top of her head and took her hand. “It’s about lunch time anyway. Now, do you wish to walk, or do you want up on Papa’s shoulders?”

1 day left...!

[So as some of you know, I will be leaving for art camp early Sunday morning, and I will be gone for two weeks. We aren’t allowed to bring phones or anything with internet access so we are able to “focus on the arts”…whatever.

No, in all seriousness I am excited for camp, but I am going to miss you all so, so much!

I am currently trying to finish my replies in threads with:

  • thebestteacher
  • asamisatoo
  • changeyerfate
  • askfireferretbolin
  • norabug
  • youonlyleafonce-meelo

(Gee sorry all you lovelies that I fell so behind)

So if you want to send me any prompts or messages or misc. I’ll be here today and tomorrow! Also, it’s an art camp and we’ll have lots of free-art time, so any drawing requests are open too!

AND if you really want to be sweet, you could send me a letter (perhaps fan mail would work better) and I’ll print it out without looking at it, then open it up one of the days I feel lonely at camp! (Make sure to specify if you’re just messaging me, or sending me a letter that I can’t read yet)

Love<3 Nicole]

I understand that you love that name, Mother. Don’t get me wrong, I love it too, but..

I didn’t expect you to be so enthusiastic about it…

Secret Alcove || @norabug

Jinora impatiently strummed her fingers as she awaited the end of the mediation session. The young airbender generally enjoyed meditating, as it was one of the only times in the day both her siblings were quiet. Yet today she couldn’t wait for her father to dismiss them. It was a gorgeous day on the island, and Jinora had recently received a new book from her Grandmother Katara. She struggled to keep focus, her mind drifting to the awaiting novel as she shifted her weight in excitement.

“Jinora,” Tenzin sighed, “I can tell you are anxious to get away, so just this once, I’ll let you leave early.” The young airbender leapt up in her delight and darted into the house to get the new book. Walking out, she made sure her siblings weren’t in sight before she flitted through the gardens on her way to the secret alcove only she knew about. She could still remember the day she had wondered upon it, by luck, when she was only five, and till this day was sure she was the only one aware of its existence.  As she grew close, she heard a rustling. She carefully tiptoed along the last stone leading to the alcove, and peeked inside.
