Pillows surrounded us as the movie played softly in the background. His finger tips ran along my spin coming up to play with the ends of my hair. “How was class today, princess?” Calum whispered. “It wasn’t the best, but you’re here and that’s all that matters.” I smiled. Calum took my chin in-between his fingers, looking at my lips, then right back at me.

“Mm, you look so fucking good right now,” Calum bites his lip. I rolled my eyes smiling, when his hand comes down to my hips squeezing it. “Don’t roll you eyes at me again, kitten.” His eyes stared me down. “Yes, daddy,” I nodded, leaning into his touch. “C’mon princess, I have a surprise for you.” Calum said. “Oh, but I don’t wanna move.” I pouted.

Calum raised an eyebrow, “You’ll want to move when you see what you have in store with the way your acting.” I sat up quickly, following him up the stairs and into our bedroom. Calum and I have never really tried kinks, but we’ve talked about them. Anytime things become intimate, they are not rough, I could tell it was love, not something meaningless, nevertheless Cal would ever treat me like that. “Tonight, we’re trying something different kitten.” He said while grabbing my hips. I nodded, and sat on the bed.

He went to the closet, pulling out a box from the top shelf, and set it on the side table. He pulled out a blindfold, a few ties, and left the room again. I knew not to get up and follow him because if I did, that would not make Calum happy. He came back with a cup of ice, no water, just ice. “Um, why do you have ice?” I questioned. “Don’t speak unless I give you permission, princess.” Calum said.

Calum walked over to me, removed my shirt while kissing my neck “Now, you know I barley punish you nor do I like too, but that’s going to change kitten,” Calum said. “Calum, what-” I was cut off by being flipped around. “I’m sorry, what did I say?” Calum said. “Not to speak unless you give me permission.” I answered. “That’s right, princess, and what did you do?” He asked. “I spoke without permission.” I could tell he was pleased by this.

“Good girl, but, you still defied the rules, you know what that means right?” I nodded as he spoke. “Now, lay across my thighs,” He motioned. I whined quietly, knowing that this night was not going to be anything like I thought. “I want you to count okay, baby girl?” Calum said. I nodded, as I suck in a breath preparing for whatever was going to happen.

Calum landed a slap upon my right cheek, a whimper falling from my lips as I let myself clutch onto Calum’s leg, my body immediately relaxing into the sensation that is going to be driving me up the wall soon. “One,” I whispered, barley enough for him to hear. Another slap on my left cheek, making my nails dig into the rough material of Calum’s jeans. “Two,” I whimpered. “Good girl,” Calum whispered kissing my spine. The slaps continued until tears filled my vision, “Ten,” I sniffed.

Calum let me sit up, as he wiped my tears away, “See it wasn’t so bad now was it, princess?” He cooed. “No, daddy.” I said. “Good, lay back,” Calum instructed. I laid back, letting the cool sheeting sooth my red bum. “Hands up, we are not quite done yet,” Calum said while taking my hands and tied them together to the head board.

Calum only ever tied me up once, and god did I love it. I bit my lip in anticipation, waiting for whatever was next to happen. “To make things interesting, I’m going to blindfold you okay, kitten?” Calum said, grabbing the purple fabric from before. My eyes were covered, seeing nothing, I mean what did you expect? His fingertips slid down my body making goosebumps arise to my skin.

“God, you’re going to be the death of me,” Calum breathed, kissing every part of my skin. I felt something cold being dragged down my skin and rested on my stomach. His lips touched mine for a passionate kiss as his hand snaked down in-between my legs. At the first flick of my clit, I cried out into Calum’s mouth, my hips grinding into his hand. He slipped a finger into me, pumping slowly. The pace of his finger was driving me mad, making me squirm underneath him.

“Stay still, princess,” Calum ordered. It was one of Calum’s rules; I couldn’t move or he’d stop touching me, even if it was during one of my treats. I tried my hardest not to move, but I accidentally bucked into his hand when he pressed against my g-spot. He immediately took his hand away from me, sucking  his finger between his lips.

I could tell Calum was smirking by the way he kept pacing around the bed. “Wanna tell daddy what you want, baby girl?” Calum said. “I want your tongue, I want your cock, fuck daddy I want it all,” I was not ashamed. “Such a dirty mouth for a pretty little girl,” Calum chuckled. “You want my tongue huh, kitten?” Calum daunted, removing the blindfold. I nodded, blinking trying to adjust to the light.

I felt his lip wrap around my clit, lightly flicking it a few times. I inhaled deeply only to exhale with a moan as he continued his actions. He released me from his mouth, looking me right in the eyes as he entered his finger in, again. A long whimper came out of my mouth as Calum moved his fingers again. “God, you look so fucking sexy withering under my fingers,” He smirked placing his lips on my clit again. He pushed another finger in, making my orgasm come into play. “Daddy, please can I cum?” I moaned.

“Go ahead princess, be as loud as you want,” Calum mumbled. “Look at me,” he orders. Already used to taking orders from Calum, I immediately look at him. “Mm, daddy,” I whimpered. My legs shook around Calum as he held them open, making me ten times for sensitive. “Fuck, you taste so good,” Calum moaned. My chest rose and fell as I caught my breath, but I sucked in another breath when Calum rubbed his tip against my entrance.

“You want it, baby? Tell daddy how much you want it,” Calum said. “Daddy please, fuck me I want your cock, please.” I begged. He grinned slamming into me. My wrists pulled at the restraints, sure to give me some type of burn. Calum held my hips as he fucked me into oblivion “Princess, I can tell you’re ready to cum any minute,” Calum moaned. “Daddy, I am,” I said.

“Oh Caluum, yes daddy fuuuuck” I yelled, unable to control my body anymore, my gaze on his as he watched my face contract at the same time my walls did around his cock. When I finally came down, breathing heavily, I found myself more tired than I’ve probably ever been after such an experience. Forcing my body not to move and having to absorb pure pleasure was actually much more exhausting than I’d have thought. Calum must’ve noticed too as he gently stroked my cheek, before kissing his way down my stomach, then back up again to my ear. “I’m impressed, you’ve done so good baby girl” he whispered, “but we are not over.”

I shook my head, not able to take anymore pleasure. “Kitten, if daddy says more, you know what it means,” Calum smirked. “Daddy, I-i can’t,” I couldn’t even talk. “Yes you can, and you will baby,” Calum said. I saw Calum pull out the white toy, which intimidated me more than it should have. “You remember this one princess?” Calum said showing me the toy, “I know this is your favorite, so tonight, we’re going to play with it.”

“Daddy, please don’t I can’t handle it.” I whined. “Sounds like you wanna make the rules, is that how it goes princess?” He asked. “Sorry, daddy,” I said. Calum turned on the vibrator to a low setting and dragged it all over my body, making me shiver. “Baby girl, this is suppose to relax you, not tense you up.” Calum chuckled, feeling my reaction.

My legs immediately closed around the vibrator when Calum set it on my clit. “Keep ‘em open for my princess,” Calum pushed my thighs apart. My back arched off the bed as my orgasm hit me like a bucket of bricks. “There you go baby, just like that.” Calum cooed. My body caved in, my feet dragged on the bed while Calum put the vibrator on a higher speed.

“Oh daddy!” I yelled, my whole body shook in euphoria as I came around the toy. “That’s my good girl, cum for daddy.” Calum groaned. My toes dragged against the bed, as I came around the vibrator and profanities left my mouth. “Daddy, daddy fuck,” I moaned. Calum took the vibrator off only to lick my clit again. I was already in a state of sensitivity.

“God, you’ve done so well kitten,” Calum said, beginning to untie my hands. “But now, I want you to suck me off like the good girl I know you are,” He growled. I was already out of energy when Calum pulled me up. I stared in awe at Calum’s cock, probably drooling. “Stop staring princess,” Calum chuckled. I bit my lip, taking his cock in my hand, slowly pumping it.

Calum groaned, “C’mon princess, you know I don’t like waiting.” I smiled up at him, kissing the tip. With my tongue broad and flat, I licked the whole length of him, making eye contact. I alternated between sucking, swirling my tongue one way and then another, and flicking it lightly. I wrapped one hand around the base of his shaft, and move it up and down in time with the movements of my mouth. I ran my nails on the inside of his thighs, making Calum whimper. “Fuck princess.” He grabbed my hair.

“Princess, s-stop I wanna cum in that pretty little pussy of yours.” Calum groaned, unable to hold his moans in. I took him out of my mouth, “Daddy, I have a question.” I trailed. “What is it, baby girl?” Calum asked. “Can I ride you, daddy?” I asked shyly. “You wanna ride daddy? Well, I suppose that’s fine.” He chuckled. Calum laid on the bed, cock in hand as I walked over to him.

He cupped my breasts in his hands, groping and tugging roughly. “Yes, daddy,” I moan, burying my face into the crook of his neck. “Oh, God, yes.” “You going to cum for me, baby girl?” “Mmmhmm.” “Come on, baby, cum for me.” My orgasm rockets through my body, sending me into a state of frenzy. Moans and curse words slip out of my mouth. I continue to rock my hips against Calum as I come down from my high, milking my orgasm for as long as possible.  “There you go, baby.” Calum coos.

“Fuck, I’m gonna cum,” Calum moaned, his hands moving to my hips. “Cum for me daddy,” I bit his neck, making sure to leave my mark. I felt Calum release inside of me, making me fall on top of him. “God, that was-” “Amazing.” I finished for him. “I love you, princess,” Calum kissed my forehead. “I love you too, daddy.” I said.

“It’s quite alright,” he found himself saying. Getting on his feet, he reached out his hand and felt something akin to electricity surge through him at the touch of her skin on his. He pulled her up and she gave a surprised laugh as their noses almost touched.

And Draco didn’t want to move away. He was completely captivated. He couldn’t describe what it was, but she was bright and breathtaking. And Draco didn’t want to stop looking at her. He didn’t want to move away.

|Kissing Pact| R. MANTLE IMAGINE

IMAGINE ABOUT: Reggie and Y/N play a certain dangerous game.
Who kisses first loses.
Enjoy fam. Have a wonderful weekend babies.

Tell me if you like it so I can make more :)

ASK ME / I HAVE MASTERLIST NOW!

I guess you could say this is what an awkward tension filled environment feels like. Veronica and some of my other friends arrived a while ago and since then, everyone’s been doing their own thing really. Joaquin and Kevin keep pissing each other and then making out a few seconds later. Veronica and my friend Betty seem to be getting along, I think I can play matchmaker one day and set them up on a date. I don’t know if Betty is into girls or not though, but damn they’d look adorable together. Chuck and Moose have been on their phones since they got here, only casually getting up for some drinks, and Reggie and I have been trying to keep our hands to ourselves for the rest of the night, well maybe only he is.

I thank god that the lights are turned off because if nor, everyone would have given us ‘what the fuck are you doing’ look and I would killed Reggie with my bare hands. Speaking of hands, his seem to be wandering around me quite much and it’s making me want him even more.

Out bodies still lay beside each other, pressed and warm. His hands circle my waist an the other falls on his lap. I keep my hands to myself, intertwining them together not allowing them to fall to my stopach. Every other minute, he starts rubbing my hip as slow as posible and lowers his hand, teasing me with his fingers. His eyes stare at me, almost like he’s waiting for me to crack and jump him in a minute.

I decide to play along with his unfair fucking game and un-intertwine my fingers from each other, slowly letting my left hand reach the hem of his shirt.
I feel his stare burning thorough me but I ignore, letting my hands unbutton his pants and pull down his zipper. I hear his hot breath getting louder around me and I smirk to myself, dragging my fingers along the place his zipper was once zipped, making him shift in his seat.

Interrupting my worrying thought, I feel his hot breathe circle around the back of my head beside my ear “You’re driving me fucking insane,” he bellowed.
My lips twitch at his words and before I could comperhend what in the hell I’m doing, I tug on his shirt and stand up, motioning him to follow me.

I make sure I get out of the lounge and down the kitchen as slowly as possible, knowing they’d question why the both of us leaving together. But in all honesty, I think everyone’s too busy to even care. I reach the kitchen and start pacing around. What the hell am I doing? I’m such a darn idiot, oh my god. There’s no backing out now, I’m doing it, I don’t care. I’m so damn frustrated. What am I saying?

Cutting my thoughts, I see Reggie’s figure hop down the last step of stairs, running his hands through his hair and tugging at the ends. He comes towards me, which to me seemed like it’s taking forever for him to walk those steps.
I roll my eyes at his smirking face and pull him by his shirt until we reach the middle of the kitchen, right in front of the counter.

Catching me off guard, I feel his strength filled arms pulling my waist to his, wrapping them around me. One hand goes to my hair and the other stays safely on my waist, his thumb running over the exposed skin. His back is leaned against the counter table and my body is pushed against his, there’s no backing away now, huh?

I keep my eyes focused on his chest, not daring to look up at him, knowing well enough his piercing brown  eyes are looking right at me with a smirk plastered to his face in defeat.
“Princess,” he whispers, his thumb and finger pulling my chin upwards to look at him. I melt in his arms the moment I do, making my knees go weak at his touch. “Finally?” his lips pull into a satisfied smile, leaning his forehead against mine, our nosing touching and our lips only inches away from each oters.

“Shut the fuck up, Mantle.” I menage to whisper in his lips before he attached his to mine, cravingly. I almost immediately kiss him back, savouring the taste of his lips. His mouth works perfectly with mine, letting my hands go up to his neck and playing with the ends of his hair, tugging at them.
Suddenly, I feel as if there is no one in this house and tonight might as well be the greatest night I’ve ever lived. The place goes muffled and the only thing I hear and feel is my hart racing and his hand all over, holding me in all the right places.

Reggie’s lips feel like geather against mine, I feel them wanting and longing for more and I love it. I feel his smile on my lips, making it impossible not to smile back. He bites my lower lip and pecks my lips as soft as possible before pulling back with a grin on his face. He licks his lips and stares at me, waiting for my reaction. His warm hands don’t stop fiddling with my hair and resting on my shoulder.

Both our hearts are beating hevily and anyone can tell by the heat between our bodies and our rising chest. I chuckle down to myself an bring my eyes to look up at his. “So, I guess no one wins.” I sigh

“I should’v bet something on this. I knew you couldn’t keep your hands off my for that long.”

“My god, you just ruined a perfectly good moment, you dick face, and I just get you down here, you kissed me first, don’t make assumptions” I shake my head and shrug confidently.

“No, princess, we both know you did.”

“Don’t fucking argue with me, this is all your fault!” I throw my hands in the air. He laughs at my response, shaking his head. “You kissed me first and you know it, okay?” I conclude.

“Hey,” he nods at me, “shut up.” before I could protest, his lips reattach to mine, this time harder and with more longing passion. I feel as if we’ve been doing this for eternity. His touch feels so familiar and his lips on mine feel like the simplest thing. I laugh in his lips, earning one back from him right away.

Seconds later, his body pushes mine further into the center of the kitchen and kneels down enough for me not to have stand on the tip of my toes and struggle. His tongue licks my lower lip for etrance and I grant it the following second, wanting to feel him closer and stronger.

He detaches his lips from mine for a second, still not leaving room for my lips to move or they’d be rejoined once again. “Jump,” he whispers, his hands sliding down in-between my thighs. I let out a shaky breath as his surprisingly good felt touch and do as he demands. I jump into his arms and wrap my hands arond his neck tighter, bring my legs around his waist. His scent flows over mine, irking of men’s cologne, and cold, he just smells like cold.

His hands are supporting my body as if it’s the simplest thing in the world, not flinching nor letting out any sign of uncomfortable movement. He spins me around and settles me down on the counter table, his height still towering over mine by a few inches. Our lips don’t let go of each other, still battling and moving in synced action. My hands pull at his shirt from the back signifying I want it off. He takes no second to quickly let his lips pull away from mine to pull the shirt over head and onto the floor. I pull him closer, runnig my hands through his hair. Reggie’s lips reconnect with mine, kissing me slower.

As I am about to tug on my own shirt, I feel the front foor pushing open. Fuck, not this again. I pull away from Reggie, staring at him in horror. He quickly reacts, pulling his shirt over his torse. I jump off the counter and sit on one of the stools, still cathing my breathe.

“Y/N?’

Surprise! I have another Reggie fucking God Mantle.

Beast Inside (Draco Malfoy x reader smut)

Y/N Y/L/N was a classy, polite, keep-my-head-high type of girl.

Draco Malfoy was a rude, I’m-too-rich-and-powerful-for-you bad boy.

He teased her a lot, just like he did with everybody else, but with her, it was different. He was intrigued by her good girl outlook. She never once insulted him or anyone, nor cuss, nor did anything wild and reckless. He wanted so badly to break her shell and see what’s really inside this elegant Barbie Doll. She was too innocent, he just wanted to fuck her senseless, leaving her begging for more.

And the Malfoys always gets what they want… Almost.

“Heading to the library again, Y/L/N?” Draco laughed, blocking her way. Y/N tried to ignore him, but he knocked all her books down.
“Oi! I’m talking to you little miss!” He tugged her arm roughly.

Suddenly, his back crashed against the wall, his hands pinned to his sides. An angry, furious, Y/N stood in front of him.
“WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR BULLSHIT, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT YOU LITTLE BASTARD!”

Draco was speechless. He stared straight at her, shocked. But he couldn’t deny it… She was hot. Her brows furrowed, her red cheeks and the flames in her eyes… Wow.

Suddenly, she crashed her lips onto his. He kissed back with just as much hunger. He dragged her into a random classroom and locked the door. This time, he pressed her back to the wall, sucking and biting on her swollen lips. He moved to her jaw, then her neck, leaving dark purple spots.
Y/N was definitely full of surprises. She pushed him hard as he landed on the professor’s table and quickly ripped open his shirt. Buttons flew everywhere as she took her turn to kiss his chest. Her slender fingers caressed each and every abs on his stomach as she bit his earlobe.

They were rough. Animalistic, even.

Their clothes were quickly thrown on the floor. Draco growled at the sight of her naked. He needed her, so bloody much. His fingers quickly made their way to her vagina. He pushed one in and thrusted roughly. “Urgh…F-fuck… Draco..” He felt himself getting harder and harder by the second just by the sound of her moans. He added another one, curling and twisting it, and this time, he attached his tongue to her sex, sucking her hard.

Y/N ’s eyes rolled to the back of her head as she approached her orgasm. She loved the way his hands roamed her curves, the way his soft lips cherished her body. His skilled fingers and tongue rocked her body in a way nobody could ever do.
And the fact that they were mad at each other made it so much better.

Suddenly, he stopped. He lifted his head and grinned mischievously at her.
“Can’t let you have all the fun, darling.”

Y/N sat up and straddled the boy. Draco’s eyes widened in shock….. Once again. She lowered herself on him, moaning as his dick filled her in completely. She started to roll her hips, her hands resting on his chest and his on her bum.
He groaned loudly and smacked her butt cheeks. Hard. She screeched in surprised but started bouncing on top of him. Draco sat up, biting her shoulder and spanked her again, his handprint visible on her bum. He sucked on her erected nipples as he thrusted upwards, repeatedly hitting her g-spot.
“Touch yourself for me, baby girl.”

She whimpered and her hand reached down to her pussy. She rubbed herself as his eyes traveled her movements with desire.

Her orgasm came quick. She screamed his name as she came, her juice covering his cock. Draco couldn’t take it anymore. Her being hot and sweaty, straddling his lap as she bounced on top of him was too much. “Y-Y/N!” He shot his cum inside her.

Slowly, they rode out of their high. He gently pulled out of her and his strong arms wrapped around her waist.
“That… Was amazing….” She whispered.
Draco smiled and kissed her forehead. He definitely loved this side of her.

Stargazing

Draco walked outside, wearing nothing but  a thin shirt to keep out the cold december night. He vaguely realised in the back of his mind that being anywhere but his bed right now was a bad idea, with this amount of sleeping draught circulating through his veins. Who knew what would happen if he fell asleep in the snow.

Draco didn’t care, however. The fog in his head was only pierced by one thought: At least I want to see the stars one last time. One more moment under the stars before everything collapses.

Lying on his back, the cold soaked his clothes, his skin, his bones, his heart, his soul. Why was he still alive? Why had he survived where others didn’t? Why had they suffered for someone too afraid to live?

Grey eyes that felt like dying sought the sky, until they found what they were looking for; Regulus. Sirius’ brother had become a bit of a hero for Draco. He’d done what Draco couldn’t, had seen evil and fought it.

I’m so sorry, big guy. So sorry. Where you struggled, I thrived. Where you died, I survived. Where you chose wisely, I made grave mistakes. I can never right what I did wrong, never forget what I did nor move past it.

Steadily Draco’s breath slowed down, his chest barely moving amidst the winter landscape. Frozen eyelashes fluttered shut one last time, thin ice sheets taking shape, holding them closed until the morning sun would melt them with her powerful beams. They would bring life to this planet, to this village, to this place. But not to his body. Not anymore. Not if Draco had any say in it.

Soft lips, curly black hair, a blazing fire of hope behind emerald eyes. Beams of sunlight would not meet Draco’s eyelashes that morning. Instead, they met him.

“Good morning sunshine.” A worried smile on cracked lips, deep rings of fatigue accompanying a tired gaze, liquid relief dripping from whispered words of greeting. Harry.

A tidal wave of feelings hit Draco square in the chest, so much it physically hurt. He curled up like a ball, pulling Harry’s hand and then entire arm with him under the duvet of his hospital bed. The guilt that ate away at him from the inside had overwhelmed him again last night. He honestly preferred the cruciatus curse over this.

The desperation with which he clung to this man, his man, was just as painful for Harry to watch. Months it had taken him to coax the blond out of hiding, telling him it was okay, no one would have acted differently had they been in Draco’s position. Even the ministry had eventually agreed to this, and dropped all charges against him.

Draco could just never see it that way. Hadn’t he been a bully before? Hadn’t he helped Umbridge? Hadn’t he tried to scare Harry off his broom in third year?

Maybe he wasn’t a terrorist, but he was no  nice person either. So many of his friends had been so much better, smarter, nicer, more deserving people than him. More deserving to be here. More deserving to live. More deserving to be loved.

Why can’t he see I shouldn’t be here? Why didn’t he leave me in that fire? Why won’t he just let me go?

At the same time Harry couldn’t let him go, and not just because Draco held his arm in a deadlock. If he could do this, if he could make Draco willing to live again, make him happy…

Harry’s childhood had been many things, but normal wasn’t one of them. This person, this man, had been the only normal thing in his life. His enemy in a non psycho-killer way, his sports rival, his first crush. He’d made himself belief that if he could act on this one normal thing, all would somehow be less traumatic. A way to get something positive out of the war. A way to stay sane amidst the madness.

“It’s alright love.” Harry kissed Draco’s forehead. “It’s okay. I found you. I will always find you when you’re hurting. Always come when reason fails you.”

“It’s not reason failing me, Potter.” Ouch, that hurt. He never called him Potter unless he was trying to get rid of the man who saved him. Saved them all.

“It’s you reason has failed. You who should leave, should have left me. You who should be happy. You who should be anywhere but here.” His voice was steered away from trembling with difficulty, but Harry knew it was broken. Broken like he would have been, had he not found the blond last night.

“Even if all of that is true, love, where else should I find happiness but here? With you?” Harry had no shame in letting his tears run free. Sometimes Draco would kiss them away. “I am happy only when I’m with you. I don’t keep you around for you. I keep you around for me.”

Now Draco knew his boyfriend was lying, Harry was way to selfless for that. He looked up to say just that, but was met with a kiss so hard, so desperate, so powerful, he was knocked back into this pillow. Harry moved and was soon on top of him. He knew damn well Draco could not handle this weight pressing on top of him, could not handle his guilt, his emotions, without Harry as a counterweight. As a reversed ocean, where you only drowned if your head broke the surface, and love was found at the bottom.

Draco sunk like a rock.

“I will not leave.” Harry whispered when they broke apart for breath.

“I will never not save you.” He said after a second kiss.

“I will be happy.” Brushing blond hairs away, pressing a kiss on his forehead.

“With you.” He forced the blond to look at him, holding Draco’s face in place with just a bit too much force.

“And I will never. Ever. Be anywhere but here.” Harry pressed his hand on Draco’s chest. On Draco’s heart.

“With you.”

Pairing: Jungkook x Reader

Genre: angst, fashion designer Jungkook AU,

Summary:  Your life was nothing but a drag until you met Jeon Jungkook, the alluringly beautiful fashion design student who asked you to model for his upcoming runway show. Soon you find yourself pulled into his eccentric group of friends and their enticing world of fashion, sex and music, a world that may ultimately leave your heart in pieces.

Inspired by the anime/manga Paradise Kiss ♥

The feeling of his hands on you made your heart freeze. His touch sent electric shocks convulsing throughout your body until you felt as if you might explode.

You hadn’t realised things had gotten this bad. You hadn’t realised that you already liked Jungkook far too much.

And now you were almost certainly in far too deep to back out.

The tape measure pressed again your waist almost painfully, the tight band constricted your breathing but you made no complaint. Carefully, Jungkook read each measurement he got from various parts of your body and scribbled them down on a lined page in a little red notebook.

The way he furrowed his eyebrows as he concentrated, so completely dedicated to getting the absolute perfect measurements from you, was addicting to look at. You didn’t need to worry about him catching you staring at him so awestruck, he was so intensely focused on what he was doing that you doubted he would look up even if a giant meteorite hit earth.

You quickly realised you loved watching him whilst he worked. You loved to see how truly passionate he was about what he did, you loved the ways his eyes glowed with an adoration for his craft. When he was working, he seemed more alive than ever.

You took a few deep breaths in an attempt to remain calm. If he caught on to the fact that you had even the slightest hint of feelings for him, well, you weren’t too sure exactly what would happen but you’d decided that it wasn’t something you wanted to find out. You couldn’t let feelings get in the way.

“Okay, I’m almost done,” he said, finally loosening the tape measure from your waist after what felt like forever, You were sure it must have left a red mark from where it had been wrapped around you so tightly.

Jungkook was wearing a pinstripe suit and on anyone else, you were sure you would have laughed at them for wearing such attire in a casual situation. But it was Jungkook. Everything he wore seemed unquestionably fitting and he pulled it all off with such elegance. He was breathtaking.

“Great, what’s left for you to measure?” you asked.

 “Your bust.”

Anger, Sex and Confessions (Road Trip Series - Part Three)

Quick note: Please keep in mind while reading this that I’ve written it over such a long period of time (and that’s no one’s fault but my own) and that means it could honestly be the biggest pile of crap you’ve ever read, and totally not worth the wait that it has been. I’m nervous as fuck. Enjoy!

Part One: Warmth x If Looks Could Kill

Part Two: Wrong Directions and Shower Secrets

He suppressed a growl when he felt his body stiffening. The pleasure was too great for Justin to feel any sense of guilt or embarrassment when flashes of [Y/N]’s bare body entered his mind.

With care, his hand moved up and down his length but he knew it wouldn’t be long before his speed increased. His heart thumped rapidly against his ribcage and the steam started to suffocate him, he was determined to see himself through, despite having a lightheaded sensation in his head.

He did with success. He knew he’d spent far too long in the shower, so long that the rest of the group were likely to be getting suspicious, but all of those worries left his brain when he felt himself falling over the edge.

Leaving his lips, pants and gasps bounced off the shower wall and returned back to their rightful owner almost immediately. Justin tried to bite the inside of his cheek to hold back the voicing of his pleasure but he knew he could only do so much.

The hot water mixed with his juices that managed to reach his stomach while he continued to stroke himself through the bliss that took its time to subside, as though it didn’t want to leave him. Justin would admit the feeling was mutual.

Feeling dizzy, he took a few minutes to let the water wash over his body and cleanse him of his actions that he was starting to feel slightly regretful of.

Stepping out of the shower only minutes later and panting breathlessly, Justin quickly trapped the heat against his body by wrapping the towel around his waist. He felt his cheeks burning and he was sure if he wasn’t dripping wet, he’d have sweat running down his forehead.

He felt relaxed, and at ease with no tension anywhere in his body. Looking in the mirror, even as it was steamed up, he could see the deep redness in his cheeks.

He shut the shower door before opening the bathroom one in front of him. The fact he’d made sure to wrap the towel around him quickly meant nothing when the cold air sent a shiver through his entire body and gave him the sensation of being given shock treatment.

The rest of the group were lounging around in front of the TV, and [Y/N]’s eyes met his own and he couldn’t help but smirk as she rapidly switched her attention to the TV once more, pretending their gaze hadn’t clicked momentarily.

He walked into the bedroom and didn’t bother turning the light switch   before closing the door and walking around to the far side of the room where his things were sprawled carelessly. He couldn’t help but catch a glance of red lace poking out of [Y/N]’s suitcase, and he had to quickly turn away to forget about it.

He dropped the towel from his body and pulled the boxers up his legs and over his junk. He grabbed some sweatpants out of his bag and threw them on. Water droplets hit his cheeks as his hair stuck up without direction. He ran his hand through it before grabbing a shirt and pulling it over his head as he aimed for the bedroom door.

Out in the main room, things were just as they were a few seconds ago, just as he expected. Once again, [Y/N] shifted her gaze onto him for only a moment. She was spread out across the couch that would have otherwise had a free seat. The floor was cold beneath his feet and he refused to sit on it. She didn’t budge as he walked closer to her.

“Move,” he said. She didn’t react nor did she show any sign of acknowledgement. “Move,“ he repeated, just a little louder.

"As you can see, this couch is currently taken,” she replied, her eyes on the TV.

“Maybe so, but it could also be taken by two if you moved your fat ass,” he hissed, taking a hold of her legs and trying to pull them off of the couch.

“Fucking hell, sit here,” Kylie said, standing abruptly. Justin watched in annoyance as [Y/N] moved her feet out of the way so Kylie could sit down.

The room was quiet apart from the TV, and Justin could sense it was almost awkward, no one was in a hurry to say anything to break it however. He bounced his leg on the floor mindlessly and rested his hands on his stomach.

“Okay, I can’t hold it in any longer. We saw you guys cuddling this morning,” Khalil exclaimed as a grin burst out onto his face. He looked like he was ready to explode.

Justin instantly scoffed, and [Y/N] imitated him. “You’re talking shit, I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he muttered, feeling his heart rate pick up.

“I figured you’d say that,” Khalil replied and did the one thing Justin was silently praying he wouldn’t do; he pulled his phone out of his pocket.

Looking over at [Y/N], he could see she had a mix of panic, worry and confusion across her face. He shifted his gaze back to Khalil who was ready to reveal the proof. And when he did, Justin held back a groan.

On his phone was a photo Justin was expecting simply because he remembered exactly how he’d woken up that morning; [Y/N]’s back pressed against his chest, his arm around her comfortably.

“Care to explain?” It was Kendall’s turn to grin.

“You want an explanation?” Justin asked while [Y/N] sat quietly, almost stunned. “We’re secret fuck buddies. Yeah, I’m surprised you didn’t hear us last night the way I was giving it to her-“

"Justin!” [Y/N] hissed. “That is not true.”

"Well, that’s what they want? Isn’t it?” he spat and shocked expressions took over three of the faces staring at him. “Of course nothing’s going on between us. I can’t stand her, I can’t stand her bitchy attitude, and anyone who’d be willing to even hold her hand must be out of their mind, besides,” Justin muttered mindlessly, pointing in [Y/N]’s direction before slumping back against the couch. "I can do way better than a bitch like her.”

She didn’t want to be quick to say it hurt, but she could feel a deep snag in her heart, as though someone had shoved a knife through her chest but it had caught and tangled in her veins.

The silence made it worse; it either meant no one was fazed by Justin’s comment, or they had realised it was a little too much so sudden. Either way, [Y/N] jumped to her feet and aimed for the door without letting the thought process. It was as though all of her insecurities had been brought to the surface in a harsh attempt to drown her and she couldn’t help but feel her eyes swimming in tears.

Justin watched the TV without taking notice. She slipped her shoes on and thanked the warm weather that she was able to leave without grabbing a coat. She made an effort to slam the door behind her.

The air gave her a hard slap to the face, but she felt better with the fresh air filling her lungs, even the sight of the trees waving softly made her feel somewhat at ease.

She walked, she wasn’t sure what direction or how far, but she passed nothing but green land and the odd yellow patches until the sun started to sink before the landscape. It caused her to flinch away as it glared at her, burning her retinas without remorse.

Birds flew over her head, chirping excitedly and frightening her when they swooped just a little lower than usual. There was soft rustling in the bushes but she decided it was nothing she should worry about. There was a gush of wind attacking her back with so much force, she felt her body being ushered forwards.

****

It’d been a few hours since she’d left and since she hadn’t even thought of her phone as she stormed out, there was no way for her to have contact with anyone. She was grateful for it a few hours ago, but the sun was leaving her and she was no longer as warm as she had been, and suddenly, not as confident that she’d be able to get back.

She turned around on her heels suddenly and started to stumble back where she’d come from. With a little bit of panic in her system, the ground no longer seemed so perfectly laid out before her. The air seemed like ice on her skin, she wrapped her arms around her body.

The sky looked as though it was ablaze; the blue that once looked like an ocean in the sky had transformed into a mixture of reds and yellows, it looked like someone had painted it, maybe even just for her. She could see the last edge of the sun leave behind the hills and the sky became even darker. She tried not to worry but the air was getting colder by the second and she could no longer feel her fingers.

She wasn’t sure how long it had been; minutes, possibly hours, but she managed to find her way back eventually. It was just as the sky turned a deep blue, going on black, colour. She felt fatigue wash over her body while walking towards the door. The lights were still on and the place looked just as it had done when she left, with a little more life to it now that it was the only light source outside.

She felt a sense of awkwardness crawl into her body when she walked inside; her hurt and embarrassment had somewhat subsided and she wasn’t feeling at all up to the possible gazes she may just get as she meets their faces. It happened, no matter how much she wanted to run away for a few more hours.

"Where the fuck have you been?!” Kylie shot towards her and grabbed her by the arm, her hands were warm and [Y/N] appreciated it. “You’ve been gone hours.”

"Sorry, I just needed some fresh air, that’s all.” She shrugged as though it was nothing, as though she hadn’t gotten lost and began to panic. “I’m fine, honestly.”

"Yeah, now, we didn’t know that an hour ago,” Kendall pointed out as she sat on the edge of the couch. Khalil was stood behind her, leaning against the back of the couch.

A sudden emotion set into [Y/N]’s body and she knew all it could be was guilt; she’d been so caught up in thinking about herself and her own emotions, she didn’t seem to think about the fact that she’d left with no explanation.

“You’re right, I’m sorry. I should have said something, I didn’t mean to worry you.” She sent them an apologetic smile while a flush creeped up to her cheeks. “Forgive me?”

The worried looks were still being sent her way, but after hugs and more apologies from [Y/N], everything was resolved, much to her relief. Sighing, she dropped down onto the couch.

“Are you okay?” Kylie dared to ask what the other two seemed to be wanting to by the way they nodded.

“Yeah, I’m okay, just needed to clear my head, that’s all,” she replied with a strong element of truth behind her words. “I think I’m gonna go get some rest though.”

“Do you wanna swap-“

“I’ll be okay, he’s probably asleep anyway. Night.” [Y/N] sent smiles to the three of them before making her way across the room to her bedroom door, kicking her shoes off as she did so. She could see the light through the small gap underneath the door and felt her heart come alive in her chest.

Her eyes met Justin sat on the edge of the bed with his phone in his hands. When the door opened, he was quick to turn to see who had walked through it and when his eyes clocked [Y/N], he jumped to his feet.

“Where the fuck have you been?” he hissed the same words Kylie had, taking her by surprise. “You’ve been gone for hours!”

“That’s none of your business,” she muttered, suddenly avoiding eye contact as though if she met his eyes, she’d lose all strength.

“Well, believe it or not, it kinda is. If you hadn’t have come back, I’d never have been able to live with myself.”

“What you said hurt,” she murmured, “but don’t flatter yourself.”

“Where did you go?”

“Why do you care?”

He sighed heavily. “I don’t know, [Y/N], okay? But I do.”

[Y/N] didn’t know what to say so she didn’t attempt to think of anything. The mere fact that Justin had been worried about her while she was gone was enough to throw her off track. It stayed quiet for a while, Justin’s confession was hanging painfully exposed in the air, and she used that time to climb under the warmth of the covers.

“I’m sorry,” Justin rasped.

“What for?”

“You know what for, for what I said.”

“I’m over it, I don’t care.” She played with the edge of the covers to stop herself from looking over at Justin’s bare back.

“Are you?” he asked and, finally, laid back against the pillows. They laid side by side, completely still, as though they were scared that whoever moved first would lose the battle.

“Totally.”

Justin rolled over onto his side. His head rested against the palm of his hand and his eyes burned into the side of [Y/N]’s face. She itched to return his gaze.

“..I enjoyed being with you, holding you, I mean. It felt nice.”

His confessions were piling up and she knew his ways too well to not question whether it was just another one of his games. She stayed quiet.

“Why won’t you look at me?” he asked with confusion lacing and decorating his tone.

“Why are you being so nice to me?” She finally found the strength to look at him, and when she did, she could see colour swirling around his pupils.

He shrugged and bit the inside of his cheek. “I guess I’m just tired of pretending that I don’t care for you when all I want to do is compliment you.”

“Where is this coming from?” she asked; she couldn’t think of anything else to say.

Justin sighed again, and ran a hand through his jungle of hair. “I guess when you left, it scared me. I didn’t know where you were or if you were okay, or even if you were coming back. It made me realise that I do care about you,” he said before letting out a large breath of air. He looked worried, he’d never looked like that in front of her.

“I don’t know what to say,” she whispered. She wanted to tell him that she was enjoying his warmth, and that she’d like him to come closer, but she didn’t.

“That’s okay, you don’t have to say anything. I know this is sudden. We can just go to sleep and forget everything if you want.”

His words echoed in her mind like a record threatening to skip and start all over again. She didn’t want to sleep, at least not without him close. She wanted him to keep saying nice things to her, as selfish as that sounded. She liked the new Justin, and she couldn’t help but remember how his arms felt firmly around her waist.

He was still watching her closely, and she hadn’t any control over the next words that left her lips.

“Kiss me.”

His eyes widened and he took the characteristics of an ice statue for a few seconds. [Y/N] half expected water to start gliding his temple at any moment, and she was sure if it reached his cheek it would sizzle.

However, in the next few seconds he transformed into something wild. He leaped forward and grabbed her face in his hands, making her gasp, but not in surprise. His lips were hot and relaxed her whole body immediately. Their kisses were hungry, that kind of hungry you feel when you haven’t eaten since breakfast and it’s late in the evening.

She’d never heard him moan before, only groan in annoyance at her. She quickly decided she loved the sound and wanted more.

Justin hovered about her, careful not to touch her too much in case she didn’t want to go further. He moved his fingers up her arms and pulled her hands up over her head and held them tightly in his grip. Her tongue grazed against his own and he wanted nothing more than to bite down.

Taking a chance, he abandoned the grasp he had on her hands and moved his left hand to the end of her shirt, letting his fingers wander underneath. When she didn’t resist, he moved them further up towards the very edge of her bra. He could feel lace and growled like a hungry animal into the back of her throat. This made her curve her chest up into him.

“Justin,” she whispered because again she was lost for words.

“Are you sure?” he asked, his eyes switching between hers. She nodded and threw her head back against the fluffy pillows.

His hand almost ripped the shirt from her body with eagerness. A rush of lust released into this body, causing him to grip her hips tighter than he planned. It wasn’t long before the fabric hiding her boobs was thrown behind him. Justin didn’t hesitate to bring his mouth around her left nipple to hear her whimper.

He realised he took great pleasure in hearing her make such delicate noises that floated so wonderfully into his ear and sent tingles running down his neck and spreading to deeper parts of his body. It was something - after all the arguments and miscommunication - he never thought he would feel.

“Definitely,” she replied, pulling his lips against her own by grabbing his neck. “Please don’t take your time.”

He didn’t have to be told twice and became increasingly eager as he took the beginning of her sweatpants in his fingertips. [Y/N]’s skin was warm under his touch. He pulled them down her long legs with a rapidly beating heart, and felt as though it was seconds from coming to a halt once they’d been dropped to the floor and her legs were for him to look at.

An almost inaudible moan left the back of his throat, it would have gone unnoticed if it wasn’t for the strong silence around them, almost like it was waiting for what was to follow.

“I didn’t realise just how much I wanted this until now,” Justin murmurs quietly, unsure if [Y/N] caught what he’d said. His hands venture to the hem of her underwear. “May I?”

“Please,” she whispered.

With a pounding heart and a threatening hard on, Justin just managed to take his time while dragging her underwear down her legs, giving them the same destiny as her sweatpants as he launched them to the floor.

“You’re wearing too much material,” [Y/N] said, indicating to the shorts he was wearing. Justin merely smirked and got to his feet.

With a heart racing wildly in her chest, [Y/N] watched without trying to look too eager. Although when his shorts were off and laying discarded on top of her own, she was sure her breathing was about to stop.

“D’you want a little strip tease?” Justin asked, his infamous grin plastered on his lips as he swayed his hips from left to right gently, wiggling his ass to nonexistent music. “I’ve been told I have excellent stripper skills.”

[Y/N] couldn’t help but laugh, and realised it was probably the first time she’d laughed at him without the joke being at his expense. “Just get over here before I dry up like the desert.”

“Oh, I love it when you talk dirty,” he smirked and gained speed while pulling his boxers down the bottom half of his body. She took the inside of her cheek between her teeth as she felt the heat rush to her cheeks.

He reached over to his bag with a rapid pace and returned with a condom packet that was ripped open and covering him in a matter of seconds. The look of desire in his eye was obvious if the sudden movements didn’t make it clear.

“Ready?” he whispered, towering over her body with his hands resting firmly beside her head. [Y/N] could see his breath becoming heavier by the second.

“More than.”

Justin let his hands slip up and down her sides before pushing his hips forward. There was a tense moment between the two while they allowed reality to set in, but Justin smashed through it was a moan of appreciation against the skin of [Y/N]’s neck.

“How I’ve managed to resist you for this long is a mystery,” he muttered, holding back the desire to bite down on her neck.

She didn’t reply, but simply pushed her hips up as far as she could, feeling Justin’s own slam against hers as a result. [Y/N] watched his jaw tightened for a mere few seconds.

“Talk to me,” he breathed as he lowered himself so that he was closer to her. Their heat radiated off of each other without any trouble. “D’you like that?”

She nodded before she responded. “Y-yes,” she said, needing to catch her breath. “Please don’t stop.” Her nails were digging exceptionally hard into his shoulders, but he didn’t seem to have a problem.

“I’d be an idiot to stop, I wanna know what you’re like when you cum,” he grinned madly, and [Y/N] sensed movement lower down her body. She thought nothing of it until a warm sensation, similar to before, pressed down on her clit.

“Oh fuck,” [Y/N] whispered, letting her eyes fall shut while her body stayed tense. She gripped Justin’s shoulders with the tips of her fingers instead of her nails. “Justin..”

“I know, I know, I know. That’s good, right?” he whispered, becoming impossibly close to her. “All those arguments seem so pointless when we could’ve been doing this the whole time,” he rasped, slamming his hips closer to her.

“We’re idiots,” she chuckled in agreement, but was quickly taken over by the tightening in her stomach. Her heart began to race rapidly.

“I’m not gonna last much longer,” he muttered so quietly [Y/N] had to wonder if he was talking to her or himself.

It was clear he was coming close; his thrusts took a turn and became harder as each one took place, but they became less coordinated, like Justin was losing control of his hips.

“[Y/N]..” Justin’s voice trailed off into what was barely a whisper, as though the intended words had been stolen from his lips.

“Cum for me,” she whispered encouragingly, meanwhile feeling her own climax approaching.

“I want to see you cum first, I want to feel you cum first. Do that for me.”

There was a certain pressure that did [Y/N] a world of favours; the idea of Justin watching her, his eyes burning into her, send her stomach doing backflips. She pushed her hips up confidently and felt the familiar feeling of falling over the edge.

“C’mon, baby,” he muttered into her ear. His voice was shaky, as though he was holding back on something he was seconds from losing control of. “Cum for me. Right now.”

[Y/N] did just that. Aware of the fact that there were three other people currently in other rooms, she bit down on her bottom lip, but it didn’t stop a squeal emitting from the back of her throat thanks to Justin’s fingers working their magic on her clit faster than she thought possible. It calmed down into a whine that caused Justin to slam into her with what felt like his entire power.

“Fuck, I’m there,” he panted and took a firm hold of her hips. The speed in which Justin began to pound into her extended her orgasm for a few moments longer, letting the bliss last.

His eyes scrunched closed while his jaw clenched tightly. He looked absolutely wonderful and [Y/N] soaked in his beauty in that moment. The moans and grunts that clashed together in the air around them caused an entire new wave of pleasure through her body and she had to try to not let it show.

A minute later and the air was filled with heat, panting and awkwardness. Justin had sunk down beside her and they both lay staring at the ceiling, not touching each other for the first time in a long while that night. Suddenly feeling very bare, [Y/N] pulled the sheets over her body.

“Are you regretting it?” Justin asked.

Alarmed, she answered. “No, are you?”

“Not in the slightest.” He rolled over to look at her, she stared a little longer at the ceiling. “Is it gonna be awkward between us now, or can we just skip over that and do it again?”

“It’s only awkward if we make it awkward,” she replied and shuffled further down the bed and rolled onto her side so that her face was in line with his own.

“..You’re so beautiful.” It was unexpected, and it sent a red hot flush to [Y/N]’s cheeks. Justin noticed. “I’m sorry for everything I’ve called you over the years.”

“We both said things, it was fair. Good game, by the way, you can definitely throw some hits,” she chuckled. ‘We’ll call it a tie.”

“Deal,” Justin grinned. “Can I kiss you now?” he asked, before leaning closer. [Y/N] happily closed the space between them.

It felt strange to be happily kissing someone she thought she despised for such a long time, and Justin wondered how he’d been missing something so wonderful for far too many years. He didn’t dwell on it for too long however; [Y/N]’s ran her tongue across his own and he realised there were far too many new things to experience with her to be dwelling on the past.

~Sam can sometimes be a mean tease, but it’s always worth it in the end.~

Sam x Reader, smidgen of Dean

2,438 Words

Warnings: Smuttiness of the Sam variety

A/N: This is my entry for @wheresthekillswitch and @emilywritesaboutdean Do It Like Team Free Will Challenge! My gif prompt is in the fic. This is also for @because-imma-lady-assface who wrote up this prompt and let me fly with it. Hope I did what you had in mind (recognize the title?) Big ups to my Sis @idreamofhazel for the beta and love. Feedback is ALWAYS loved. Please enjoy responsibly…

It started at dinner.

It was nothing fancy, just spaghetti and meatballs, something you’d been craving for a while and finally had the time to make. You sat next to Sam, watching with a smile as across the table, Dean practically licked his plate clean. As you watched Dean, you felt Sam watching you. He rested his head in his hand, leaning against the tabletop; a loving grin playing on his lips and making his dimples pop.

You were not oblivious to the look in his eyes, but you ignored him and finished your food, laughing as Dean slurped a long, sauce-covered string of pasta into his mouth like a child. That’s when Sam stepped up his game. His left hand dropped below the table and brushed lightly against your knee. Again, you ignored him, pretending not to notice the touch. His fingers danced up your leg and curled around your upper thigh, settling there with a light but suggestive pressure.

You peered at him quickly, but kept up your facade of not being affected by his actions. His eyes were lidded and his grin had faded into a teasing smirk that gave you a sneak peek into his thoughts. His hand shifted again, his long fingers sliding down to press firmly between your legs. You gasped and swallowed hard, clearing your throat to calm yourself and not let Dean see the blush that had surely crept over your cheeks. Sam’s fingers pressed down again and you knew for sure, tonight… it was on.

“Flat out” - h.s. Part 1

Prepare for the domestic cuteness.

—–

—–

It was more your flat than it was Harry’s now, after years of living in it. Originally, it had started under the premise that you would only remain in his flat for as long as it took you to find your own place. Which was fine, because he wasn’t staying there and you needed a place as uni started and you were friends, close friends, and it was all fine and dandy.

But then you really started to get busy with your schoolwork and considering the workaholic and professional perfectionist that you were, you were constantly on the move between classes and work and more classes and your second job. And besides, Harry was really only in and out at that point. The tour was coming to an end, the band was on their final days, and Harry really hadn’t thought much of it that you had now lived in his London flat for an entire year.

And also, he felt bad. He felt bad that you felt the need to always support and provide for yourself and that you were doing nothing but working yourself to death in order to pay your tuition and then be able to find your own living conditions and so finally he had said, “Just stay here. Stop worrying about it. You’re fine here, Y/N. Really.”

Though you’d fought it originally, you knew that in order to keep your perfect grades in tact and be able to get to work on time, there was no better place to live than where Harry was. You were centrally located now considering you’d applied to jobs close to Harry’s flat so you could walk, and you only had to walk a solid fifteen minutes to get on campus. You were comfortable, Harry was comfortable, all was well.

You felt a knot form in your stomach when you saw her. You had feared something had been going on between the new PA Natasha and your husband. You had never brought it up to him, because saying it would make it real. It wasn’t that he had ever really done anything to make you doubt him, but the way she was giggling and touching him every chance she got, it would upset you more than you cared to admit. You justified his actions in your mind. Jensen was gorgeous and out of your league.  You had gained weight and you were feeling less than confident about the way you looked. Especially after having your daughter. You tried telling yourself you couldn’t blame him for going elsewhere to get his needs filled.

Jasper Hale imagine requested by anon! “The reader is having nightmares and isn’t really sleeping but doesn’t tell Jasper out of fear of worrying him but he begins sensing her exhaustion and knows how to comfort her through both his powers and how long they’ve been dating and is able to both confront and comfort her? Thank you so much.” Hope you like it!

It was the fourth night adhering to your newfound, and limited, sleep schedule. You lay awake, your cheek resting softly against the marble chest of your boyfriend, his skin chilling your cheekbone against all odds, cold piercing through the thin fabric of his shirt, his fingertips lazing gently along the curvature of your spine. He knew you were awake, though the two of you exchanged no words, his unnecessary breath keeping time with yours, lungs filling in tandem. The air was stagnant in your bedroom, flooded with notes of aged fabric and filling sweetly with the intoxicating scent that lifted so easily from Jasper’s skin. It was not an uncomfortable environment to find yourself sleepless within. Hell, the only surface you could find that may have been harder than Jasper’s slow-moving chest was concrete, and still you found yourself at ease and entirely relaxed against the plains of his body. With the warmth of your blanket’s cotton embrace and the familiar chill of Jasper’s holding you close, it was almost laughable how you couldn’t bear to fall asleep. The world’s most particular infant would be out in seconds… and yet you laid awake, your eyes blinking senselessly into the darkness of your room, tracing shadows, counting breath, and fighting the urge to sleep.

Jasper’s fingers swirled unseen circles against the curve of your shoulder blades, his touch hovering with determined delicacy, always aware of the damage he could cause with a thoughtless flick of his wrist. Your eyes closed peacefully, your lashes whispering against his shirt, your steady intake of breath exaggerated some by the facade of sleepiness you hoped you exuded. In truth, there was no escaping the truth of your situation. Jasper, even without his heightened empathy, would have been able to tell your falsehoods from sincerity as easily as he could identify your face in a crowd of strangers. Still, you were dead-set on keeping your internal struggle from being brought to light beneath the vampire’s nose. The last thing you needed was to have Jasper hovering over your headboard as you slept, overly-concerned for your well-being, religiously controlling the thermostat and amount of light entering your room as he fought to give you the night’s sleep you deserved. No, Jasper couldn’t be brought into the loop; you distinctly remembered the expression that had set into his features when you let slip how afraid you were of vampires. This was before you knew of his family’s secret, of course, but the man had gone well out of his way to prove to you how gentle he could be, how kind, how safe before finally telling you why he skipped school during the blood drive and how he had run so far so fast when a passerby tripped on the pavement during your late-night outing in Port Angeles.

Your conviction had been watertight nights one and two, but you found yourself slipping the last two days; if only you could charm a mental nudge from Jasper, just enough to calm you down, perhaps you wouldn’t see the startling images that painted themselves across your eyelids when you tried to sleep. Pictures of death, portraits of scattered limbs… a thousand vampires, their pupils blown wide within frames of violent crimson, sinking their teeth into every exposed inch of Jasper’s flesh as he thrashed and writhed in pain. He did not bleed, but the injury was obvious. He did not speak, but his wordless, sometimes voiceless cries were exponentially worse to witness. When they tore his arms from their sockets, his face contorted in agony. When they hurled him in your direction, his eyes terrified as he absorbed the full extent of his environment, you could hardly bear to watch. When the vampires crowded about you, their ravenous eyes torn between their two victims, you could only watch. This was usually when he began to speak, his sentences punctuated with shouts of pain as more and more hands became claws around his neck. You felt it, then; the ripping, the tearing of your flesh as the mob descended. Jasper, of course, could do nothing but watch. You found yourself, for once, on equal ground. When you woke, the image of Jasper’s head lifted above the crowd of newborns was still branded into the front of your mind. Jasper’s hands would smooth over your hair, as they did now, his voice a soothing force in the inky darkness.

“You walk like the dead all day, but when it comes time you can’t sleep?” he whispered into the shadows, his fingers trailing upward along the back of your neck, his palm smoothing over the strands of your hair. His voice was like honey, dripping slowly through the summer’s heat, catching the sunset’s rays as it descended. You lifted your face to meet his gaze, his butterscotch eyes gleaming in the lack of light. His hair harvested the moonlight as it shone, just barely, through your curtains. He adjusted himself to better accommodate your new position, inching himself into a seated stance before inviting you to his chest once more, his arms closing around your waist as you nestled yourself into his lap. He inhaled slowly, his eyes burning from within with adoration, almost enough adoration to hide the underlying concern that threatened to douse the flames until they were no more than embers. He lifted a hand to cradle your cheek, his palm frigid to the touch, your body too accustomed to his radical temperature to flinch. He smiled a slow, easy smile, his lips upturned in the corners, his face relaxed. “Tell me what’s wrong,” he offered, his words neither command nor inquiry, his features betraying nothing. If you had been strangers, you would have believed him to be impartial to your answer, uncaring on the subject of if he ever got one… but you knew him. He was already half-mad with worry. You returned his quiet smile, your eyes bleary from lack of sleep, your muscles aching from the absence of rest.

“I’m fine, Jazz. A little insomnia never killed anyone, I can promise you that.” You ran your fingers absentmindedly through waves of his golden hair, his eyes closing at your touch. He sighed blissfully, his hands dropping to your waist, his thumbs working into your hipbones as your hands fell to the nape of his neck, your fingers interlacing to secure your hands at the back of his neck. Jasper’s eyes washed over your face, his brow pinching as he took you in. “I wish you’d stop worrying so much. Really, I’m fine. Loads of people have sleepless nights. It’s not as big a deal as you think.” He parted his lips to counter your claim, but you continued over his unspoken argument. “Jasper, it’s a human thing. A night or two without sleep isn’t the plague. I’m going to be fine.” He lifted his hand to your face, his fingers smoothing over your cheekbone, his thumb moving to caress the bags beneath your eyes. They looked more like bruises every day, each night darkening and deepening the external effects of your deprivation.

“You’re not fine, Y/n. If I couldn’t hear your heart beating, couldn’t feel how warm you are, couldn’t smell your blood like perfume, you could convince me you were bit four days ago and I wouldn’t call your bluff. You look more and more like me every day.” His hand fell to your shoulder, smoothing over your arm until your hand had moved to meet his between your bodies. He twined his fingers with your own, his eyes bright with anxiety. “If you tell me why you’re so afraid, I could help you. You know I could.” You rested your forehead against his own, your breath expelling from your lungs in a single, weightless huff. Jasper tilted his head, freeing his hand from your hold to guide your head to his shoulder, the hand he had held at your waist smoothing upward until it rubbed against the middle of your back. His voice was a melodic whisper against your hair. “I’ve never seen you so exhausted. Tell me how I can help you, and I’ll do it. I’ll do anything.” You felt tears well along your waterlines; frustration-born and embarrassing, saltwater flowed down over your cheekbones, making contact with the shoulder of Jasper’s shirt, his hands slowing against your back, his palm abandoning your hair to smudge the tears along your cheek, breaking their trails as they fell. “You can tell me anything, darlin’. I’ve probably heard a lot worse.” You collapsed against him, your body giving out under the strain of your sleeplessness.

“I keep seeing it. Every time I try to sleep I see it happen, over and over. I thought it would go away, but it keeps getting worse. For the past week and a half I’ve been having this… this… terrifying dream. It’s only just gotten to the point where I can’t even close my eyes without seeing it all… happen again. It used to be once a night, then twice a night, but now…” you inhaled, your breath trembling as it flooded your lungs. “It’s always the same scene. You’re alone on a field, wearing Calvary greys, but your eyes are still so bright, so warm. I see you look around like you’re trapped, see them rush you from all around, and there are so many of them. They keep biting you, here and here and here,” you whimpered, further emphasizing your tale of terror as your fingers traced, by memory, the ridges of his numerous scars. “Then they start to tear at you, and you’re screaming and I can’t do anything to help, but I want to, so I feel myself reaching forward and suddenly I’m there, with you, and all of them turn to me like they’re starving and I’m a feast. Half of them keep ripping pieces of you away, the other start ripping at me, and just before I wake up I see your head come off.” Jasper’s breath had ceased, his hands frozen along the expanse of your back, his eyes glued to your face as you spun your nightmare into verbal reality, shaking your head all the while as if to dash the very thoughts from your brain. “And I know it’s ridiculous to even think that this could happen, but it’s not so much a thing of the present or future as it is a peephole into the past. I know at least some of this happened to you, Jasper, I know what could happen if anything like what you faced with Maria comes to Forks. And I can’t bear to lose you, can’t stand to think about it. I have to stay awake so I know you’re okay because every time I close my eyes I can’t be sur-” Jasper’s lips found your own then, his mouth working over yours with a heated passion you had hardly ever witnessed before. His hand tangled in your hair, his palm pressing against the small of your back to secure your body to his. He parted his lips from yours, pressing kisses against your cheek, your forehead, his breath flowing freely over your skin. When he leveled his eyes with yours, his gaze was a blaze of impossible love. He held your face between both of his palms, his hold on yours both gentle and firm. You could look nowhere else but into his eyes.

“Y/n, we’re not in danger here. I’m far detached from the armies of newborns that destroy the southern cities. I haven’t seen or heard from Maria in close to a hundred years. She and her masses of untrained soldiers are no threat to us. I’ve been bit before, of course, but that was when I was a newborn myself. Nowadays, I doubt any of them would be able to touch me. They would never come close enough to touch you, not by ten miles. On my honour, they wouldn’t even catch the scent of you before they were burning in pieces. I’m not looking for fights, and I don’t expect to find one on our doorstep anytime soon. You have my word. There’s nothing to be worried about. I promise to keep my head set firmly on my shoulders so long as you keep yours, and that requires sleep, darlin’.” A giggle escaped your lips, watered-down slightly from the recent flow of tears from your eyes. Jasper’s grin was near blinding in the darkness. “Come on, now. Close your eyes. We’ll both be here when you wake up.” You nodded your head, your body collapsing further against the hardened muscles of Jasper’s torso. You lifted your head for a brief moment, your eyes locked on his.

“Could you do your mind thing? With the…” Jasper nodded solemnly, the shadow of a grin itching at the corner of his mouth as a warming wave of comfort washed over your limbs like an ocean breeze. You smiled, content, pressing your lips to his jaw before resting your cheek against his shoulder once more, his smile now clearly visible. “Thank you,” you breathed, Jasper’s borrowed comfort easing your eyes closed, your every exhale deepening your state of relaxation until your mind began to fog over. You felt a pang of fear tighten in your chest, followed swiftly by a rush of serenity and ease. You slowly faded away to sleep, Jasper’s hands tracing the ridges of your spine as you lifted from reality to settle in the meadow of a dream.

After Claire reveals the truth to Jamie about who she really is, he replays the day they met in his mind to see it from a new perspective.

Hail Mary

Premise: What if Jamie and Claire had 1) been more openly affectionate, and 2) not *had* to get married?

Part I  Part II  Part III Part IV Part V

Part VI

He couldn’t get enough air.

No, he wasn’t just suffocating. He was being suffocated, being pressed downward, screaming, but with no one to hear, no mercy from those cruel hands pinning him down. He struggled against them, struggled against the evil and the darkness of —

And then he was free and Jamie roared upward, lunging for his attacker’s throat.

He came awake in mid-air, the cold air hitting his bare legs, reality still swirling and shifting in the darkness as he flung the intruder flat on the bed, pinning THEM, choking them with—

“Ja—MIE—” came a strangled female voice, throat muscles working desperately beneath his hands. “—s’—ME!”

CLAIRE.

He leapt backward off her and off the bed so violently that he staggered and would have toppled onto his backside if he hadn’t caught onto the tall dresser. He steadied himself and his mind, though both were reeling:

Leoch

His chamber

Dead of night

Claire Beauchamp

on his bed

She had sat up, and in the dim, flickering light, Jamie could see that she was clad only in her shift, a flimsy shawl underneath her on the bed.

His heart thundered—melted— to see her; to see how lovely she was; to feel how deeply she roused him; to be hit with the aching of how much he wished to touch her—take her in his arms and tell her how much—how deeply, painfully—he’d missed her these last three weeks—

But the ice around his heart solidified again almost instantly, the ice that had kept him sane for those three weeks; the ice that would continue to keep him alive as long as he was forced to see her around Castle Leoch, until he could get himself away to Lallybroch, away from her.

And yet despite everything, that very ice shuddered to see the fear in her golden eyes, her hands clutched at her throatDespite everything she’d done and said, his heart contracted with panic. His voice came out urgent and strangled. “Have I hurt ye, Mistress?”

She dropped her hands at once and shook her head quickly. “No, just startled. I’m not hurt, Jamie,” she said more firmly, seeing him unconvinced, searching her skin for marks. “I promise. I’m alright.”

“Aye, well…I’m glad of it. I’m—I beg your pardon for—” he made a vague gesture toward the bed. “Ye took me unawares from my dream, and—I’m sorry.”

“It’s alright,” she repeated, giving him a weak smile. “No harm done.”

He nodded, but the ice was firmly back in pace. “Tis time for ye to take your leave, Mistress Beauchamp.”

“No.”

He shouldn’t have been surprised, not in the slightest.

“Mistress, ‘tis the middle of the night.  D’ye have any idea what they’d say if ye were found in my—” He took a step toward her. “Your reputation would be ruined.”

Her expression was hard, yet still somehow flippant in that damnable way of hers as she shrugged, “Don’t have a very good reputation to uphold, anyhow.”

“Dinna be joking about,” he snapped, holding out his hand. “Come. NOW.”

“I’m not leaving. And before you threaten to carry me out yourself—” she said loudly, JUST as he’d been opening his mouth to do just that, “—know that if you so much as try, I’LL scream at the top of my lungs and see who comes running. I don’t give a rat’s arse about my reputation, and I’M willing to let the chips fall as they may. Do you want me to do that?”

Damn her. DAMN her.

No.”

“Well then,” she said, raising her eyebrows, “look’s like I’m staying.”

Defeated and all the more angry for it, he threw his hands up in the air. “What in God’s were ye doing creeping about touching me in the night, anyway?”

She glared at him. “To talk to you, of course.”

Talk?” He rubbed his hands backward through his hair to keep from throttling her in earnest. “Have ye no scruples, woman? Christ, there are proper times and places for—”

“Oh, there ARE, are there? DO be a dear and tell me when and where those might be, won’t you?” She made a sound of deep derision and crossed her arms sharply, apparently as angry and barely-restrained as he. “Jamie, you’ve spent THREE BLOODY WEEKS ignoring me—what else was I supposed to DO??”

*Avoiding* you, mo nighean donn; not ignoring you.

But avoid her, he had, and quite effectively, at that. Colum’s explicit instructions had been that she was not to leave the castle walls, nor had she, else she certainly would have come to find him at the stables, where he had spent every possible moment, save sleeping and mealtimes, though he’d contrived to eat at odd hours. She had tried half a dozen times to approach him, in the corridors, in the great hall, in the courtyards, but he’d said no more than a cool, “Mistress,” of acknowledgment as he took his leave.

Avoided, aye; never ignored. He had been as aware of her as of the daylight, her presence and absence fundamentally guiding his thoughts and activities. She was his light, whether he willed it or no.

“What else was I supposed to DO, Jamie?” she was repeating, now standing just a few feet from him, moving with him as he stepped to and fro away from her, to MAKE him look at her.

He did look at her, hard. “Leave me be. That’s what.” Just go away. Go away from this Castle and rid me of the torment of having you near.

Jamie!” Frustration and desperation were battling for dominance in her wearied voice. “We HAVE to talk!”

“We dinna have to do any such thing. And, by all the saints,” he exclaimed, gesturing wildly at her body, desperate for anything to throw her off the scent, “even if we did, did ye have to come practically naked?? You’re in naught but your—” (thin-as-an-April-breeze) “—SHIFT and I’m—”

He could feel the draft from the window sneaking up his legs, caressing every inch of bare flesh under his shirt, and his face burned

“—I’m not presentable.”

She didn’t budge an inch. “Put some damed clothes on, then.”

When he didn’t immediately make a move, she rolled her eyes, turned, and walked to the bed, snatching up her shawl and jerking it around her shoulders and pulling it around her.

Breasts now covered, she raised a defiant eyebrow.  He glared at her, but finally decided that even if he should risk her threats and carry her bodily into the hall and bolt the door behind, best to do so with breeks on. He threw open the trunk at the foot of the bed and rummaged until he found a pair, turning from her as he laced them.

“Can we talk now?” she said, as he turned back to face her.

In contrast to her evident amusement, his own voice was low and nasty. “Go ahead.”

She blinked and dropped her eyes to her crossed arms.

A dhia, how he despised himself in that moment—he wasn’t the kind of man that spoke this way to women, not least of all to a woman that he—but Jamie simply couldn’t shake the anger and hurt that coursed through him at the sight of her. She didn’t want him for a husband—fine; but could she not just stay away? Go away. Just go away.

When she spoke, she met his eye straight-on, quiet, but determined. “Thank you. For helping me talk my way out from under Colum and Dougal,” her eyes were shining with sincerity. “I truly couldn’t have done it without you.”

“You’re welcome. Anything else, Mistress?” He gestured toward the door.

She threw up her hands. “Jamie, for heaven’s sake will please just hold your goddamn horses and give me a chance, here? I’ve got things I need to ask you!”

He bowed his head. Stop being a child, Fraser.

“What is it ye wish to know, mistress?”

She heaved a breath and let it out, preparing herself, shivering. He strode to the fire and stoked it, to give them both a moment for it. The light danced on her face as he turned back to her, her face strained and urgent with her questions.  “Why did you help me with your uncles? After all I—You didn’t have to tell them anything. You had every reason to just leave me to my own fate. Why?”

He shrugged, uncomfortable, still fingering the poker. “Didna wish to see ye come to harm.”

“Harm?” That genuinely startled her. “You think they would have….ordered me tortured, you mean?”

“Perhaps not Colum….” He chose his words carefully. “But ye have—not the faintest idea of the—the depth of the hatred Dougal bears the English, even more than most Scots. If he truly believed ye to be passing on dangerous information…”

He shrugged again. He had no doubt that she would have come to some form of harm, whether at the hands of the MacKenzies or the English, had he not interceded. No matter how deeply she had hurt him, he didn’t wish to see any ill befall her. Not ever.

“And do they truly believe you?”

“Aye, they do.”

She nodded slowly, then suddenly dropped her eyes and began fingering the hem of her shawl. “The ‘allegiances’ you spoke of…Was that…” Christ, she was squirming like a worm on a hook, “were you talking about Laoghaire?”

He snorted. “Certainly NOT.” The look on her face made him realize too late that infatuation with Miss MacKenzie would have been a perfect ruse to hide behind; but then again, Miss Beauchamp always had a knack with catching him off guard. Without waiting for her to press, he grudgingly added, “It was my allegiance to Colum of which I spoke. That’s why he took it to heart as he did”

“To Colum?”

He couldn’t shake the glow that had lit the ice around his heart when her face had lightened instantly at his disavowal of Laoghaire MacKenzie.

He cleared his throat, squeezing the poker. “Colum wishes that I should succeed him as clan chieftain, someday.”

“Oh! Oh, that’s—Jamie, that’s wonderful!” She looked genuinely delighted and impressed. “Such a great honor.”

“Perhaps, though it’s a honor I dream not of.”

“No?”

“I’ve no intention of leading the clan, at least not until after Dougal’s tried his hand at it. He’d skin me alive for taking ‘his’ position, and I’ve no desire to start a clan war. The easiest way is for me to remove myself. Colum doesna ken that, yet, though.”

“But how does—? What does that have to do with…?”

“My taking a Sassenach wife—” the word cut his throat like glass, “—would have negated my eligibility for clan leadership outright.”

She dropped her eyes. “I see.”

Aye, I would have done it in a heartbeat, mo ghraidh.

He cleared his throat again. “And so, while Colum and Dougal dinna yet trust that you’ve no other motive for being amongst us, same as before, they do believe my tale about why ye fled.”

Why she fled.

“I had a LIFE, and I’m far past due to return to it!”

“I don’t need your ‘protection,’ Mr. McTavish.”

And still, most cutting of all, the coldness in those golden eyes as she had said: “You were mistaken.”

“I don’t expect your forgiveness,” she was saying, still facing him boldly, though he could see her twisting the fabric of her shawl again, faster and harder. “I don’t even expect you to speak to me again after this. And I’ll go, tomorrow, if that’s what you want.”

Christ, she meant it. she would leave.

Aye, Sassenach, just go.

“I’ll tell your uncles to hand me over to the English and be done with it. It doesn’t bloody matter anymore.”

Dinna leave me.

He thickened the ice around his heart.

“But—” A deep breath, and then her voice was softer. I can’t go another day without saying...I’m so sorry, Jamie.”

The depth of feeling in her voice was powerful enough to catch the breath in his throat… but the ice was powerful too. He only managed a quiet, hard, “What for?”

“For acting the way I did, the night I left. I was…” She paused, shaking her head, “—vicious….and you didn’t deserve that. Not at all. You are—were… are my friend, and I had no cause to treat you in such a fashion.” She took another deep, ragged breath. “The thing is—”

“Let’s just leave it be, aye?”Jamie didn’t think he could bear this. He moved from the fireplace to the window on the far side of the bed, quickly, that she might not see his face. “I accept your apology. There’s no point discussing it further, Mistress.”

“No point?” she whispered from behind him.

His anger flared and he had to grit his teeth. “Ye told me in no uncertain terms, that night, what your feelings were, Claire. Whether or not ye should have been nicer about it is truly neither here nor—”

“But Jamie—” He could hear her moving closer to him, her voice now with an edge of eager desperation. “—I had good reason to leave, I swear it, but—the most important thing you have to hear is—” Her voice was tremulous with emotion. “— you weren’t mistaken—and I came back for you.” Her hand came to rest softly on his arm.

“Jesus, Claire, can ye no’ hear yourself?” He threw off her touch and twisted to face her, hating the rage and scorn coursing through him, but feeling utterly powerless to halt its path. “So, your grand plans of returning to your old life came to naught, and ye came crawling back to Leoch because ye imagined I would be better than nothing, aye?”

“Jamie,” she whispered, horrified, “it isn’t like that.”

“Oh, no?”

“No, you bastard!” she hissed, on the brink of tears, following behind him as he stormed back to the hearth. “it BLOODY isn’t!”

“Tell me, then, Claire,” he demanded, keeping his voice low. He’d come to stand behind the big armchair—to put some goddamn space between them— and he gripped the back of it hard with both hands to ground himself, “where did ye go?”

Silence. Fear in her whisky eyes. He could see the lie forming, see her closing against him in that glass face.

“Ye left with haste and wi’ a purpose,” he pressed. “Why?”

Her eyes were down. Her head was shaking hard, fast. “I—I can’t tell you why.”

“You could.”

“I CAN’T!”

He nodded, shaking all over. “Then why on EARTH should I trust your word?”

She looked up with glassy eyes.

WHY?” he repeated, more angrily, more pained with every choking syllable “When ye sleep in my arms, hold me wi’ your head on my chest of a morning and then shun me twice to my face before the next sunrise? When your face and your body told me one thing, and then your words another?” His hands were fists, quaking with fury and pain. “When ye STILL willna tell me where it is ye came from or where it is ye went? Why should I believe a word you say, Claire?”

Silence.

“TELL ME!!”

“You shouldn’t.”

Her sudden quiet startled him and he searched her face. No longer angry and defensive, no longer controlled. He watched it fall, moment by moment, into a blank of despair.  She continued her descent, apparently helpless to stop it, and sank down onto the trunk at the foot of his bed. “You shouldn’t—you have no reason to believe me.” She released a gasping sob and buried her face in her hands.

A long silence, punctuated only by the heart wrenching sounds of her sudden brokenness.

Heart-wrenching. His heart was wrenching apart to see her in pain.

He tried to be indifferent, to see in this another charade; but after a long moment, he couldn’t help but speak, to reach out to her. “Claire?”

She gave no answer, only wept harder and shook her head back and forth.

Another minute.

“Why d’ye say I shouldna believe ye, Claire?”

Silence.

Gently. “Why?”

Why, mo nighean donn

“Because—” Heaving breaths. Crying. “If I told you the—truth, Jamie—the real, actual truth,” she sobbed still harder into her hands, her voice a strangled wheeze, “You’d never believe me…you’d think me completely—completely mad…”

Would he? Could he ever believe this marvel of an individual to be out of her mind? A lunatic? No. That simply couldn’t be. Whatever it was that she’d concealed, whatever it was she didn’t want to tell him, needed to tell him—it was truth.

Slowly, he moved from behind the chair, slowly settled beside her on the trunk.

She exhaled, moved and overcome. “Jamie….”

He couldn’t touch her, wasn’t sure what he would do if he touched her; but he was glad that she knew he was  near. She was right, after all: whatever else passed between them, she was his friend. “I’m here. Tell me….lass.”

Lass.

It was the first time he had called her anything close to an endearment since she’d returned to Leoch—no, since the night she left—and the saying of it—Christ, it sent a bolt of blazing lightning into the ice around his heart.

My lass

The crack was deep, deep enough so as not to be repaired, smoldering, spreading.

My own lass.

“The woman of Balnain.”

“The—what?”  She had blurted it with no preamble, and he yanked himself back from the melting of his heart to try to understand. “The—Welshman’s song? What of it?”

“I am the woman of Balnain.”

He gobbled for a moment, looking sidelong at her. “Well, the—the words actually translate more to ‘I am the wife of the laird of Bal—”

She shook her head, eyes squeezed tight. “No. No, that’s not what I mean.”

“I…dinna understand.”

“I. AM. her.” she whispered, looking up at the ceiling and blinking hard.  “I, Claire Beauchamp, AM the woman of Balnain.”

The room seemed to crystallize and go silent. Even the fire was muted out, a faint humming in the distance.

“The truth…Jamie….The truth is that I am not of this time.” She was still shaking with sobs but was nonetheless speaking with an intensity that he’d never heard from her, not ever before.  “I woke up one morning in the year nineteen hundred and forty-five…and I landed in seventeen forty-three.” She could barely get the words out. “I woke up in Inverness and went searching for a flower I’d seen on the hill of standing stones…”

She recited the eerie song, her voice—God, her voice—

“I stood upon the hill, and wind did rise….
I placed my hands upon the tallest stone
and travelled to a far, distant land,

….but Jamie….it wasn’t a ‘distant land.’ It was a distant time. The eighteenth century.”

He was gaping at her. She gave another desperate sob, her eyes boring into him, despairing. “That’s the truth, Jamie; The truth of where I came from. I—traveled—back—traveled here—in time.”

Nineteen hundred…and forty….

Back…

in time….?

There were tales, of course—folk being stolen away by the fairies and being taken to times not their own—

—but as an educated man, he’d always—surely those were only—

But with a jolt akin to being kicked by a great beast, all of it flooded into his mind at once, bowling him over:

The strange shift she had worn

Her lack of friends and relations

Her inability to account for her background, her intentions among us

The way she had asked for the town, that night we’d found her—a town that must have been visible, two hundred years hence

The way even the most common words and customs seemed foreign to her

The daft words she herself had used

The way this remarkable woman had fallen into his life….

The way this woman like no other he’d ever encountered in his lifetime…

“I was born in nineteenth hundred and eighteen,” she was saying intently, breaking apart, “I was born two hundred years from now.” She make a desperate sound at his silence—anger—fear—tragedy. “Jamie, do you hear me?”

But Jamie heard her words as though from under water; silently reciting the rest of the Welshman’s song

But one day, I saw the moon come out
and the wind rose once more,
so I touched the stones
and travelled back to my own land
and took up again with—

“You’ve been trying to get back to him,” he moaned, the horror and the grief of it washing over him in a landslide, “’the man ye left behind.’

She gasped, then gaped at him, utterly dumbstruck. She couldn’t speak for a long time. Nor could he; could only hear the wailing of his heart.

When she did finally find her voice, it was strangled and tear-choked. “You—believe me??”

“Aye,” he said at once, his own voice far from strong, but confident in that, at least. “I do believe ye, Sassenach.”

Beyond the memories, all the evidence of her otherness running through his mind like a vision, he could see it in her eyes; he could see it in the slant of her shoulders, broken, but no longer on guard, no longer holding back; he could see it across her glass face, finally free of secrets and lies. Finally free. Aye, he believed her…

…and the truth broke his heart all over again, into more pieces—millions more—than they’d been before. She was married. She wasn’t free to give her heart—Nor had she been; not from the first moment he’d laid eyes upon her. Claire Beauchamp was another man’s wife.

“Forgive me, lass,” he murmured, rising and going to the fire, trying to keep his voice from breaking, to keep from showing her his despair. He understood, now; understood why she had acted the way she had, but the pain was too great. He had only enough strength left to appear strong. “Stay here for the night—I’ll find another bed.”

“Forgive?” came her voice behind him, truly bewildered. “Whatever for?”

He had tears in his eyes and he blinked them away fiercely, gritting his teeth. “I canna even bear to think of the—the fool I made of myself in your eyes back wi’ the rent party. Proposing marriage, professing love, when ye already had—”

“No!” she said, jumping to her feet and wiping her own tears away, hard. “Jamie, no, please—that’s what I’m trying to tell you—you weren’t a fool.”

She came close to stand beside him, and after a long pause, she took his hand. “Jamie…..you… weren’t mistaken.”

He wasn’t—? He hadn’t been—?

He couldn’t shake off her touch. Couldn’t look at her. Couldn’t even move at all from the inrush of feeling and hope and—

“I felt—just the same as you, Jamie—” she said, carefully but firmly through her tears and emotion. “—from the—God, the first time you held me here at Leoch,—From then onwards, I felt what it was between us.”

A Dhia, just slay me now, lass. Kill me here and let my heart be gone, rather than this torture. He felt like a boy, so eager for her love, and so frightened to hope for it.

“That’s why I left that night—” She was squeezing his hand so hard it hurt, and was staring up at him, her eyes unblinking and spilling with tears. Jamie was staring into the fire, trying to keep control of himself, but she wouldn’t look away. “—because I cared for you too and I felt—” She gave a wracking sob, “—so ashamed because it was like he—my husband—like Frank never—even existed to me—”

She cares for me.

She cared for me all along.

“—And so when you—when you said those things—poured out your heart to me, and I—wanted to pour mine out to you—and I had to get away—and I ran—”

He was squeezing her hand to keep from flying apart.

She ran because she felt she must

She cares for me.

“—and I was praying the whole time I rode it would have been a dream—that I would touch the stones and wake up, but it wasn’t a dream—you were real—and what I felt for you was real—”

—Jesus—

“—but I couldn’t have lived with myself if I’d come back—”

She ran because of duty .

Her hand in his shook. His hand in hers shook.

Claire cares for me, too.

“—then I got to the stones and I—couldn’t get through—” She was sobbing, harder than she had yet sobbed in his presence, panic and weariness overtaking her such that she swayed next to him. “—I couldn’t get back—was pounding on that stone for hours—hours—but I—I couldn’t get—couldn’t—”

“Oh, lass—” And before he could stop himself, he was clutching her tight against him, comforting her, holding her, trying to shield her from the sobs that wracked her body.  “I’m so sorry…Claire, I’m so sorry…”

God, and he was, too. The pain and turmoil she’d undergone, that had been tearing her apart with no one to help keep her sane; no one to keep her from being alone. He held her, forcing himself to think only of her. “It’s alright….shhhh, it’s alright… Christ, I’m so sorry.”

She pressed her cheek hard into his chest. “Jamie, I was so ashamed.”

“Ashamed? Lass, you’ve nothing to be—”

She pushed back from him and staggered away toward the fire,  just far enough to look him in the eye,. “Because I was relieved—Jamie— I was RELIEVED that I couldn’t go back to him—” She raised her hands aimlessly to the level of her eyes, watching them quake. “—RELIEVED—and I think part of me will be ashamed of that all my life—But I don’t care.”

Jamie didn’t say a word, just let his eyes cling to the sight of her face, open and breaking along with his. ‘Breaking,’—no, he was being utterly torn apart by the gathering of joy and hope, the banishing of the anger and pain. His heart was a gushing torrent, now—the skeleton of the ice wall still standing, but with the current clearly visible beneath, roaring to be free.

“The fact is that I was relieved. Relieved that I could come back to you.”

She cares for me

She left from duty.

She came back.

She—

“Jamie….?” she begged, repeating the word like a prayer of supplication. “Jamie…..?”

“Aye?” he croaked.

“Jamie, I’m so sorry—I hate what I did to you— the look on your face when I denied you and—shamed and—wounded you—it killed me—”

“Dinna spare a thought for it,” he started to say, but she quieted him, begging to be allowed to speak uninterrupted.

“—And I can’t bear how this will seem—Like it does seem,” she amended. “You said it yourself: my plans fell through and I’ve come crawling back to you. But that isn’t true.” She took a deep breath and her eyes spoke true to him as she said, strong and clearly even through the gasping and the tears: “I love you, Jamie.”

The ice wall shattered.

She loves me.

She loves me.

SHE LOVES ME.

“I love you—” she was saying, over and over crying, laughing as the joy of it rushed through her,”—and I care for you—and I respect you, and—” She reached a hand toward his face. “— and I want to marry you.”

Before he could reach back to her, she was kneeling before him, taking his hand, bowing her forehead over it. “I haven’t anything—I’m no one, in your world— but all I have, and all I will ever have, they’re yours—if you’ll still have me.”

Later, he never would quite recall the exact moment when he moved; the thoughts that went through his head at seeing Claire before him, asking him to share her life. All he could recall was the feeling of her in his arms, the burning in his heart as he crushed her to him; the way he could barely speak the most important words of his life:

“Yes, mo chridhe—All my life, yes.”

And then he was kissing her. He was kissing her and kissing her and kissing her and feeling her pressed against him. Feeling her kissing him back, the joy and relief in her tears. Sinking back into the armchair, letting her straddle him, holding her and kissing her and drinking her into him.

The rasp of her voice as she clutched his face and groaned into his mouth. “I want to stay with you. I need to be beside you tonight.”

The agony of forcing himself to slow, to still. “No, lass, ye must go now,” he whispered, though his traitorous body kissed her deeper and pulled her closer. “Else I’ll have ye here…now…..”

“Have me,” she moaned, bringing his hand up to her breast—Jesus Christ, the nipple was hard, shockingly firm even through her shift, and she groaned so exquisitely as he ran his thumb round and around it, as she moved her hips against him with shocking urgency. “—Have me—Jamie, please—”

He felt those words strike directly down into his cock and he thought he would die of wanting her, but he managed a soft laugh and pulled away. She gave a growl of urgent protest, of need, and he felt the same rip through his own body at remaining separated from her another moment…but he forced himself to take her face in his hands. “Ye must go. Because as much as I want to be inside ye right now—you’re so much more to me than that, mo chridhe.”

He kissed her, slowly and gently. Kissed the tears on her cheeks. Felt her kiss his as her fingers ran across his face, his hair, claiming him as she settled, quieted to a slow burning, her forehead against his. “What does it mean?” she whispered, her hair falling ‘round them. “Mo…cree?”

Mo chridhe. My heart.” He leaned his forehead against hers; the tip of his nose against hers. “It means, my heart.”

She took his face, then, her words strong and sure. “You’re more to me than that to me, too; than anything else, anyone else… mo chridhe, Jamie.

this is my first smut ever, so, i’m sorry if it sucks ass, lmao. this was mainly requested by @writing-obrien so bam, here’s some rough tommy for you. please tell me if you want me to continue this or keep it as is!

Folding the final rag neatly, you felt your eyes drift away from your work. This was the fifteenth time, the fifteenth time you had done this. You were just so distracted, so bored by your duties, because with the sight you had in front of you right now, there was nothing more you desired to do than to rip the rag to shreds and ditch your chores. You groaned, knowing that there was plenty more to do, feeling repugnant at the idea of doing the daily chores that would’ve otherwise been no hassle at all. But, you looked at him, you gawked at him, from afar, almost offended at how he knew he was doing this to you. He was nothing short of entirely aware of the things he was doing to you, the things he was making you think. Memories of last night flashed through your mind briefly as you lifted the browned water, the metallic scent of iron filling your nostrils distastefully.

“Give it to me.” He grunted through gritted teeth, his hands clasped bruisingly firm on the curve of your hips, his hips jerking forward at such inconceivable strength and speeds, pounding into you relentlessly. Thomas edged you closer to the edge, thrust by thrust, your legs going numb from the awkward positioning of the uneven ground, your fingers digging into the rough bark of the tree for leverage. “Fuck.” He spat from beneath his rough pants, concentration riddled all throughout his voice, hoarse and scratchy.

You arched your back into him, his palm coming down onto your left cheek as soon as you felt the skin of your backside touch the flexed, hard surface of his abdomen. “You like that, babygirl?” He probed, mirroring the same actions on your right cheek, much more rigidly than the first. “Yeah you do.” Thomas answered himself, his hand now resting onto one of your cheeks while the other trailed up your spinal cord, coaxing cascades of shivers to follow after it, his fingertips barely skimming over the hot skin as he did so.

You were so close, your heart skipping beats as it thumped heavily within your chest, leaving you short of breath and puffing out stiff breaths from your nose. “Oh God.” You heaved, your head suddenly being yanked backwards, some strands of hair being ripped from your head, a burning sensation buzzing on your scalp. The hand that had been traveling up your back had a fistful of your hair, allowing him to work rougher onto you and hold you still while he fucked you. You felt him suddenly shift; Thomas’s warm, repetitive pants of air hitting your ear and flowing down the side of your neck. “I don’t want you to ever forget the way I’m making you feel, right now. To never forget that you’re mine, no one else’s. If you do, I’m taking you right back here, and I’ll give you a reminder of who you belong to. Understand me?”

Too constrained by his rapid movements, he suddenly ceased all of them, simply gripping onto your hair and leaving his hand on your ass. “Do you,” He paused, going to land another blow atop your cheek, your skin stinging with all the tingling sensations from his hand as you felt the blood rush to the surface of the soft skin. “understand me?” His tone, authoritative and gruff, made you whimper out in response. “Say it.” Thomas demanded, his teeth leaving tiny nibbles across the open plane of your neck, already riddled in dark purple and red marks. You bit down on your lip, and he removed himself from you, only to slam right back in. You gasped. “I said, say it. I want to hear you say it.”

“I-I understand.” You breathed, and he bottomed out, immediately going back into his previous rhythm, till you felt yourself topple into your release, his following afterwards, hot shots of cum hitting along your backside and hips, both of you breathing heavily in unison.

A dark chuckle made you jump slightly as Thomas wiped off his mess from you with the bottom of his shirt, adjusting his grip back onto your hips as he kissed along the side of your neck, soothing over the biting love-bites and hickeys he adorned your tanned skin in. “Oh, babygirl, this is going to be fun.”

You were suddenly ripped from your thoughts as you felt your ankle bump into something hard, falling face-first into the patiently waiting hard surface of the grown below. “Shit.” You gasped, feeling the dirty water slosh onto your shirt some. A gag rested in the back of your throat, looking up as you noticed you have wondered off into the middle of the Glade, a yard away from your real destination. “I’m a fucking idiot.” You whispered your scold to yourself as you quickly jogged where you were supposed to be, ignoring the weird looks from the other nosey Gladers.

Letting out a small huff, you finished cleaning out the bucket of dried blood and dirt, running your freshly-dried hands through your messy hair. You had it tucked back into a ponytail, the humid air of the Med-Jack hut making your shirt feel like it was sticking to your skin. You plucked at the thin material, your chest rising and dropping quickly as you finally managed to peel it off you, revealing the noodle-strapped tanktop underneath, the straps of your black sports-bra much wider. You let out a sigh of relief, raising a hand to your forehead and tucking your shirt in your back-pocket and heading outside. The sun was merciless against your skin, making you feel grateful you had gotten yourself out of that torturous shirt. Everyone was busy with their own work, not paying you a wink of an eye, that is, until you passed them. Then, you could feel their eyes burning against your back, and you tensed, before spotting Thomas, still shirtless in all his glory, his muscles bulging as your eyes followed the vein that traveled from his forearm to the middle of his bicep.

Shaking your head, you sighed, finding yourself too occupied by the heat to pay any further attention to him. You didn’t look at him when you felt his attention become spiked to you, simply heading back to your own resting-quarters, quite a long-distance away from the rest of the Gladers. The reason? You’d rather not talk about it, nor think of it. The disgusting temptations some of these boys had was certainly ridiculous; you still slept with one eye open each night after it had happened, even if it had happened about a year ago, glad that Alby gave those assholes what they deserved.

Running your hands along the temples of your face, you let out another groan, your skin finally being able to breath as you stood in the shade. You still had to clean the showers, patch up some of the complaining Builders and talk to Newt about your tedious, ever-changing schedule. You see, you had been chosen to be a Runner after seven months in the Glade, which was very short. When you had asked Minho about it, he simply said that some creep had watched you on one of your morning runs and was impressed. Part of you thought it was to keep you away from the boys, but, you put trust in Minho’s word. Training was difficult, the real job was even worse. Your legs felt like rubber, pulsing and hot, but having no relief to the cool air of sundown, since you were so sore, you couldn’t even change clothes without wincing in pain. But you had gotten used to it, and the job shapened your body quite nicely. Assuredly you wouldn’t think your body was anything to drool over, but, after such hefty exercise from running daily, you grew a fresh layer of confidence of being free to show some skin since you were comfortable enough to.

Then, something terrible happened, and you never set foot in that blasted Maze ever again. George, your first friend in this Glade, dead. No, not because of the Grievers, or an accident in the Maze. But you.

It was because of you.

Shaking the thought off, you didn’t feel like dwelling within your gutter of self-blame, instead rolling up your jeans higher on your ankles and adjusting the straps of your sports-bra. You stood like this, relaxing and preparing yourself for the rest of the day. You turned around, and you saw him again, swinging down at the poor slices of wood as if it just insulted him. Your teeth found itself tugging on the bottom skin of your lip, gnawing and chewing, as Thomas suddenly met your eyes from his work, and you could see the surfacing smirk rising upon his lips. Everything was tensed on his sweaty body, his hair matted across his forehead, but still swept in a way that make the ends curl just a bit. His raven hair was sticking in awkward directions, wild and flat at the same time. Beads of sweat dripped between crevasses of his muscles, showing off his incredible form. He kept eye-contact with you, making a firm expression that said more than he was concentrated on cutting wood. Something in you told you that his mind was elsewhere, as so was yours, and that he wanted to rake his eyes down somewhere else on your body. You turned around, an idea popping up in your mind.

You bent over, pretending to have gotten something caught in your hammock, your tanktop rolling up on your back some as you rose one leg slightly off the ground, arching your back while you continued to search for the invisible item you had dropped. The pool of heat between your legs pulsing as you thought about the way he must be looking at you, about what he must be thinking about doing to you as you did so. He wanted to play games? He wanted to test you? Oh, he had no idea of what was coming to him. You hummed a chuckle, straightening as you brushed your hands on your tanktop, shrugging as you walked back into the Med-Jack hut, a sharp swing of your hips as you did so, allowing your hips to cut through the air to give him a nice view. You heard a faint growl, and your heart jumped at the sound.

You had grabbed a bucket of clean water, the same rag you had folded previously, and an extra hair-tie to wrap around your wrist, just in case your pesky hairs decided to come loose from your ponytail. About to head towards the showers, two rough hands on your hips stopped you, and you flailed until a familiar voice spoke. “What the fuck was that?” He questioned, digging his fingers into the parts of open skin where your shirt had rode up. You smiled.

“What?”

Thomas leant over you, forcing you to bend over as he grabbed onto your ponytail, his other hand snaking to gently move over your neck, your breath quivering as he did so. He held a light grip, but the rough sensation of it left you buzzing. “You know what I’m talking about. What was that, hmm? Babygirl likes to play now, does she?” The petname he had grown so accustomed to using made you lick over your lips, a wet sound being made from the quick gesture, causing him to raise you to press you against his bare-front side, the back of your shirt dampening from his sweat. Any other day, this would’ve made you cringe, but, with the way he was handling you, it only made it hotter. “You know I don’t like being teased, sweetheart. You know what happens when you tease me.” A hand suddenly soothed over your bum, and you whimpered lightly, being fully knowledgeable. “Turn around and get on your knees.” Thomas growled, biting on that special spot behind your ear.

“I have to do work.” You spoke again, speaking against every roaring temptation inside you. His light grip on your neck tightened slightly, and you gripped onto the metal handle of the bucket.

“Yeah? I don’t care.” He retorted, turning you around and glaring down at you through his eyelashes, something dark and desiring residing in his honey-golden irises. “You think you can just get away with teasing me like that? Bending over like that, when you know I can bend you over that counter over there right now and fuck you till you can’t walk straight?” Rushes of electricity zapped to all corners of your body, but, you only smirked right at him and pulled from his strong hold, patting him gently on the head. You didn’t even take knowledge of the sight of him shirtless up-close, which took the most effort not to do.

You only chuckled, though with the look he was giving you, made you drop the small laugh real quick. “Sorry Tommy. Next time, okay?” He wanted to play this game, he better come up with better moves than that. Because you had a lot up your sleeve. But something about that lustful look in his eyes said that he had just the same. You walked out of that hut with the same alluring stride as before, knowing where his eyes were. Oh, he was so in for it.

You couldn’t wait to show him just how teasing you could be.

What? It’s not like you started it.

Maybe they’re right. Maybe I am no good for you //  SHAWN MENDES

Tap…tap, tap… the sound echoes around my silent bedroom. My eyes flick open, body still at the sound. Waiting. Tense. It’s probably just the wind blowing the trees against my window pane. I shut my eyes again.

Tap, tap, tap… tap. This time I sit up. Maybe it’s just a bird? I look to the alarm clock, the light harsh against my eyes. 2:25 AM. What kind of bird is up at this time? I listen for the noise again. Nothing. I let out a sigh of relief and sink back into my blankets.

TAP, TAP, TAP. It’s more urgent this time. Ripping my blankets off my body I walk to the window. I reach to open the blind, hand faltering just I was about to open them. Isn’t this the part of like every horror movie ever where the girl opens the curtains and then they get stabbed by a masked killer?

TAP, TAP, TAP, TAP, TAP. I slam the curtains open. A black and white mask covers half his face in a skull pattern, the rest of him dressed in black. Bright brown eyes meet mine. Well shit. I hastily open the window and he climbs through.

“Gees women how long does it take you to open a window?” Shawn asks me, his voice muffled through the fabric.

“Oh I’m sorry,” I say placing one hand on my hip. “I didn’t know I was expecting company at 2:30 in the morning,”

He just grins at me. “Missed you too,” Shawn says cheekily.

I roll my eyes, hands reaching out to pull him by his cotton jacket towards me. I wrap my arms around his waist, leaning my head against his chest. He smells what he always smells like, soap and fresh air, which given by his choice in past time it’s not unusual.

One of his hands lifts up to stroke the back of my head, he rests a kiss on my forehead, while the other hand stays glued to his stomach.

I look at him suspiciously. “What happened to you?” I ask, pulling back completely and crossing my arms over my chest. Shawn knew my disapproval about him being in a gang, but of course he was stubborn and refused to leave until his contract was up. I never understood it.

He gives me a wry smile. “Not much,” he answers taking a step back, his face hardening.

“Liar” I say glaring at him. “It will be much easier in the long run if you tell me now,” We stare at each other. I sigh, uncrossing my arms. “I just want to make sure you’re okay, I’m worried about you, alright?” His expression softens.

“I know you do,” He says. Gently, he lifts his arm away and rolls up the bottom of his shirt. A bruise the size of my fist, black and blue, lines the side of his stomach. A gasp escapes me.

What did they do to you?” I cry, holding my arms to my chest. I knew what Shawn did was dangerous, never before however have I seen him hurt.

“Its not what you think,” he says, tugging his shirt down. “Its just,” He falters.

“Just what?” I say my voice rising. “Did they do that to you?” I ask. He doesn’t say anything. I turn away, not being able to look him in the eyes.

“I can’t believe this,” I mumble although its more to myself then to Shawn. I couldn’t stand seeing him hurt.

“Baby its ok-”

“Don’t you dare tell me its okay,” I snap cutting him off. I can feel angry tears beginning to well in my eyes. “They hurt you. What’s going to happen next? Stab wound maybe? Broken bone? Fucking bullet wound?”

I’ve kept this anger to myself ever since I found about Shawn being in a gang that he’s tied to until hes 22. His past is a mess. He got caught up with bad people and now he’s paying the price.

“Y/N…” He trails off.

“See! You can’t even defend yourself, you know i’m right,”

“They had a perfectly good reason,” He tries to reason.

“And what reason was that? You didn’t get the proper drugs or wasn’t there enough cash?” I’m fully crying now.

“They wanted to use you, dammit Y/N” Shawn runs a hand through his brown locks. I freeze.

“What?” my voice sounds small, a faint chill creeping in from the open window.

Slowly Shawn removes the fabric. More bruises appear on the once milky skin of his jaw.

“They wanted to use you as bait for the drug lord in the west of the city,” His eyes flick up to mine, darkness swirls in the inkiness of them. “I told them over my dead body would they ever lay a fucking hand on you,” Tears continue to spring from my eyes at Shawn’s revelation.

“Of course, lets just say they didn’t like my language nor defiance and this is what happened,” he shrugs his shoulders as though nothing happened.

I sniffle, trying to stop the tears. Gosh, it made me seem so weak in front of him.

“I don’t know what to say,” I manage.

“You don’t have to say anything, I have everything covered,” I don’t believe him. They hit him because he wouldn’t let them use me, I was his soft spot. What if they used me again against him? I couldn’t bare to see Shawn do something terrible just to save me.

Wiping my eyes, I stand up taller, trying to remove all emotion from my face. Seeing Shawn standing there though, tall and handsome, I felt my stomach knot with what I was about to do.

“When people first saw us together, in public,” I begin, my eyes never leaving his. “They thought I was crazy. They told me you were no good for me,” I let out a weak chuckle. “I’m.. I’m beginning to think that they’re right,” I can’t look at him in the face anymore.

“I don’t want to be with you anymore, not like this,” I whisper. My body slightly slumps and I want to cry all over again.

“No,” Shawn says. My head snaps up.

“What do you mean no? I’m breaking up with you Shawn- you can’t just say no,” I say, my eyes narrowing.

“I know what you’re doing.” A small part of me is filled with joy that he didn’t agree to break up. “You think that by us splitting up is going to make them stop coming after you to get back at me or to make me comply. It doesn’t work that way sweetheart,” He smirks at me, his confidence rolling off him in waves. Now I knew why he was such a valued member in the gang. He could keep his cool in just about any situation.

“You can leave me but that doesn’t mean I just magically stop loving you.” Shawn takes a step forward, cautious that I might run off. When I don’t, he takes a few more until the tips of his shoes are inches from my sock covered feet.

“And maybe they’re right. Maybe I am no good for you. But honestly, does it matter? The best moments in my life have been moments spent with you and if you think for one goddamn second that I’m going to let you slip through my fingers, you’re wrong. I will do anything to protect you- anything. I don’t care what they do to me, I love you and I’m staying with you till I die baby,”

I grin, “Staying in the gang might bring that day closer,” I say, wrapping my arms around his neck, leaving a kiss to his bruised jaw as I felt a chuckle vibrate through his body.

“I only have 6 months left then I’m out. Then its just you, me and the open road, we can go anywhere. We could start a family!” excitement fills his eyes and I giggle tugging him towards the bed, watching as he slips off his shoes.

“We have to get through right now first,” He slides out his jeans and grabs my hand, tugging me back to him.

“We will, trust me,” He says. The smile on his face is so certain that can’t help but forget my worries.

“I love you,” Shawn says, kissing me softly.

“I love you more,” I say as I pull back and tug him towards the bed.

“Oh and Y/N?”

“Yeah,” I ask moving the covers so he can slip in next to me.

“Never break up with me again,”
