Imagine being a No-Mag in love with Credence and Graves using you to control him.
“It’s for [f/n]’s own good, Credence. It’s the only way to keep them safe,” Graves promised, his eyes searching the young man’s. “It’s only a temporary measure until the threat has passed. You have my word. Do you understand?”
Credence stared at his feet, his chest feeling tight and squashed. Every time he asked Graves about you, he was given the same answer. It was all to keep you safe. All he had to do was finish helping Graves and then he would get you back. Still, Credence couldn’t help the painful feeling in his stomach that came with knowing he couldn’t see you. Being apart from you always made him feel like a piece of himself was missing.
“Credence,” Graves’ voice broke through the boy’s thoughts. “Do you understand?”
“Yes sir,” he mumbled, swallowing back the lump in his throat. “Could you tell them…” he trailed off, nodding his head slightly. “Tell them I miss them?”
