Clint was probably as excited as you were to finally have you back at Stark Tower in a few short hours. You haven’t been there in so many years, you actually lost count. You were tired of the country life and you desperately needed a change in scenery.

Your dad said you had a place at Stark Tower anytime you wanted to visit the city and your family, as he calls them. So, you packed your bags and told your dad you wanted to visit.

Your mom was a little more reluctant to let you go, she always wanted to make sure you were safe. Clint assured her time and time again that nobody would be able to mess with you, not when you had an army of Avengers by your side. After convincing her to let you leave, you made your way to the jet Tony had so kindly sent out for you.

Clint was pacing along the common room floor, checking the clock every five minutes. “Clint, she’ll be here. Sit down, you’re making me nervous.” Tony said with a loud sigh. Clint shook his head and stopped pacing, turning to face the others. “She hasn’t been here in years, I just want her to feel at home.” Clint said, checking the clock once again. You should be landing anytime now.

The team was talking among themselves, all gathered around, waiting for you to get there. Everyone was excited to see you again, only remembering you as your younger self. They always tried to keep in touch, mostly Steve and Nat than anyone else.

Soon after, the jet finally landed on the roof of the Tower and Clint basically screeched in excitement, causing the team to laugh. “Jesus.” Sam muttered, shaking his head as he chuckled. The team all stood around in a welcoming line, ready to see you.

Clint stood in front of them, a big smile on his face. “I can’t wait to see her!” Nat squealed, bouncing on her feet. Steve smiled and nodded. “Me either, I wonder how much she’s grown.” Steve said, staring at the elevator anxiously.

Bucky stood beside Steve, his hands stuffed in his pockets. “Y'think she’ll remember me?” Bucky asked quietly, catching Steve’s attention. You had just briefly met Bucky the last time you had visited the Tower, you didn’t have a lot of time to stay. You were much younger and didn’t get to properly warm up to him.

Steve turned to Bucky, a small look of shock on his face. “Of course she’ll remember you, Buck.” Steve said, nudging Bucky’s side. Bucky smiled and sighed. He enjoyed having you around that one time, you were young and full of energy. You made everyone smile and just made the place feel happy. Bucky could remember how you wore pigtails in your hair and wore little sundresses, he thought you were such an adorable little girl.

You sighed, nervously playing with the hem of your sundress. The elevator suddenly dinged and the doors opened. You saw the entire team standing with big smiles on their faces. “Y/N!” Clint and Nat both yelled, rushing over to you.

You smiled shyly and set your bags down, letting your dad pick you up and twirl you around. Clint’s smile was so wide and you couldn’t help but squeeze him tightly. “Dad!” You said, your arms tight around his neck. You laughed as he set you down and you turned to a rather overly excited Nat.

“My turn!” She yelled, pulling you into a tight embrace. “You’ve grown up so much!” She yelled excitedly. You hugged her back and she swayed you from side to side. “I’ve missed you!” You yelled back, smiling as she giggled into your ear.

She pulled away and you turned to see Steve standing there. You squealed as you ran and hopped up, wrapping yourself around Steve. “Steeviiieee!” You yelled, hearing him chuckle. “Y/N!” Steve yelled back, twirling you around just like Clint did. He set you down on your feet, helping you keep steady.

You beamed up at Steve, your hands resting on his biceps. “Dang, Brooklyn! Those muscles have grown!” You said, your eyes and mouth wide in amazement. Steve playfully flexed under your hold and chuckled. “You haven’t grown much height wise, but wow! You’re so beautiful!” Steve said, causing Clint to clear his throat, eyeing Steve. “Oh Dad, stop it.” You said giggling. Steve pulled you along, your dad and Nat following behind.

You shyly waved at everyone and Tony stepped forward now, gaining your attention. “Okay, has it really been that long?” Tony asked, giving you a tight hug. You smiled and gave his back a light pat. “It has.” You pulled away, “You’ve gone grey.” You said, making Tony gasp and pull away from you. “Dammit!” He yelled but you stopped him before he could rush to the nearest mirror. “I’m kidding!” You laughed along with everyone else.

You shared hugs with everyone and it was time you reunited with Bucky. You smiled and Bucky stepped forward, his eyes raking up your body. “Y/N, you’ve grown.” Bucky said, letting out a breathy chuckle and pulled you into a hug. “It’s been so long, Doll.” Bucky said, causing the room to fall silent at the sudden nickname. You smiled and hugged Bucky back, feeling his arms tighten around you.

Your heart started to race in your chest and you blushed, noticing Bucky held you longer than anyone else did. Clint cleared his throat again and you quickly separated from Bucky. You noticed Bucky’s eyes fall to your cleavage as you pulled away. “I know, I’m sorry I was away for so long. We have so much to catch up on!” You said, smiling up at Bucky. His blue eyes locked with yours and you swear you could see him blushing.

You heard Sam snicker. “Oh, boy.” He whispered, though nobody commented on it. Clint held your bags and smiled at you. “I wanna show you your room. Tony and the others are gonna start dinner. We’re all gonna hang out outside, we’re having burgers!” Your dad smiled widely, dragging you away from everyone.

You turned to wave and Bucky stood there, seemingly full of shock. You turned back to the elevator and the doors closed, taking you to your room. “How was the flight?” Clint asked, rubbing your back. You smiled. “That man and his fancy jets.” You laughed softly, your dad doing the same.

A few hours passed and you caught up with everyone pretty quickly. They were all surprised at how much you had grown up over the years. You enjoyed talking to the team and every now and then, you would catch Bucky staring at you. You felt some sort of connection between each other.

You were all sitting at a table in the backyard, eating dinner. The sun was just beginning to set and you were laughing at something Tony said. “I swear, you never left the tower without wearing a sundress! I don’t know what it is.” Tony said, making you smile. “My mom always bought them for me when I was little,” You shrugged, “It stuck with me, I guess.” You said, watching Tony nod with a smile.

The conversation carried on and you noticed Bucky looking at you again. You had to admit he has gotten a lot more muscular and he was a very handsome man. You blushed when he winked at you and you felt an elbow gently jab your arm. You turned to Nat, seeing her sip from her cup, her eyebrow quirked. You sent a questioning look at her, but you knew what she was hinting at.

Bruce cleared his throat and looked at you. “So, Y/N, you went to college, didn’t you?” Bruce asked, his eyes kind and his smile small. You nodded. “I did! I really enjoyed it, but I’m not entirely sure what I want to do.” You said, feeling everyone’s eyes on you. Bruce nodded, smiling at you. “That’s understandable.” He commented.

Sam smirked at you. “Party a lot?” Sam asked, making you blush. You giggled and rolled your eyes. “No, I was too busy for all of that.” You replied, shaking your head. Sam smirked again, leaning in closer to you. He was sitting right across from you.

“No time for a boyfriend either?” Sam asked, earning a slap to his arm from Steve. “OW! It was just a question.” Sam said, furrowing his eyebrows at Steve. “Wings off, Sam.” Steve said in a stern voice. Everyone laughed and you blushed, slowly looking over at Bucky. Bucky’s head was hanging down a tad and he was picking at his food.

You sighed softly and turned your attention back to everyone else. Clint was staring daggers at Sam and you rolled your eyes, smiling to yourself. Your dad was always protective about a guy stepping into your life. He wanted someone he approved of and you feel like the only guy your dad would approve of would be Steve, but your eyes have been on Bucky since you got here.

You felt something in your gut when you look at Bucky. Something is drawing you in and you were nervous, yet you wanted to be near him so badly. You wanted to touch him, feel him, hold him, in the most innocent sense. But also in another sense of those words. The way his hair was hanging loosely in his makeshift bun and the tight black tank top he was wearing now made your mouth water.

A snap of two fingers broke you out of your thoughts and you jumped slightly in your spot. “Hm?” You asked, looking towards Wanda. “You okay?” She asked, looking at you. You sighed and cleared your throat. “I-I just need to use the ladies room. I’ll be back.” You rushed, standing from your seat. “Is everything alright?” Clint asked, putting down his cup. His eyebrows were creased together with worry. All eyes were on you, even Bucky’s.

You nodded and gave your dad a small smile. “I just need some fresh air.” You said before walking away and up the stone path that led to a back door. “Aren’t we outside?” Vision questioned as you walked off. The team all looked over to you and Bucky watched your figure walking away, his tongue lightly darting out to wet his lips.  (refer to gif omg)

You sighed and shook your head, more thoughts of Bucky coming into your mind. What was wrong with you? You just got here today after years of being gone, why are you already catching feelings for someone like you’re desperate for a guy? But you just couldn’t help it, Bucky was just so hot. He was nice, too.

You walked up to the elevator, sighing again. You looked at the buttons, your floor number disappearing from your clouded mind. You bit your lip, wiggling your fingers as you tried to remember it. You looked at the mass amount of floor numbers and pressed what you thought was yours. You waited patiently for it stop.

As the doors opened, you slowly walked out, seeing a floor similar to yours. You hoped you got it right, but as you walked down the long hallway, the musky cologne smell from the three rooms made you realize that this was not your floor. You kept walking down the hallway anyways, looking at the decorations on the doors as you walked by.

You walked by Sam’s room, a sign saying “Falcons Only” on his door with a drawing of him hanging off of it. You smiled and looked to your left, right across was Steve’s door. It had a decal of his shield on it, with a small picture of him and the team pinned to it. You stepped up to his door and gently let your fingers touch the photo. You giggled when you noticed the bunny ears Sam held above Bucky’s head.

Your eyes remained on Bucky’s face for a little longer. His smile was genuine, his eyes squinted from his smile being so wide. His hair was framing his face and he had a cap on. He looked really happy and at peace with himself.

You smiled and moved away from Steve’s door, seeing another one at the end of the hall. There was a large window on the wall you faced. It was almost dark now, surely the team would be inside soon.

You waked over to the last door. There was nothing on it. No name tag, no drawing, no photos, no symbol of the Avenger who lived in this room. Curiosity getting the best of you, you turned the doorknob and peeked inside. The room was simple and had minimal in it. You walked inside, leaving the door cracked.

You looked around the room, looking for anything that would give you a hint of who occupied it. You saw a perfectly made bed, no wrinkles on it. There was no clutter, nothing out of place. Everything was neat and clean, organized as if the person hated clutter. A cluttered bedroom meant a cluttered mind. Maybe this person suffered with a cluttered mind before.

You walked over to the desk in the bedroom, seeing a few books. You recognized some of them, others you didn’t. A red journal shoved in between two books caught your attention. You knew you shouldn’t look, but you were in too deep now. Your fingers gently tugged the book free, not a speck of dust was on it. It was red and there was a star on it. Your fingers traced the star and you heard the door creak open.

A gasp fell from your lips and you turned to face the door, seeing Bucky standing there. “Bucky!” You squealed, holding the book to your chest, your heart racing and your breathing heavy. Bucky walked in and over to you, making you gulp. This must be his room and he didn’t look pleased to see you in here. Actually, you couldn’t tell how he felt. His eyes and expression were unreadable.

Bucky stood in front of you, his body towering over yours. His hand reached up and he tugged the book from your chest, his eyes glancing at your cleavage again. You took a shaky breath and Bucky leaned closer to you, his torso resting against your chest. Bucky slid the book back in its rightful place and you licked your lips nervously.

Bucky leaned back a little, his hand rising up to hold your waist. You gasped softly. “I-I’m sorry, I just-I, uh, I forgot my floor number.” You said quietly, looking up at Bucky. He held your waist with both hands now and he leaned back enough to look into your eyes. You felt small under his gaze, his blue eyes staring into yours. “Bucky?” You asked softly as he started leaning into you.

Your breath was uneven and Bucky’s lips ghosted over yours. “Tell me to stop.” Bucky whispered, his breath fanning over your mouth. Your eyelids fluttered a little and you felt Bucky squeeze your waist. You looked into Bucky’s eyes. “I-I,” you breathed, “Don’t.” You whispered back.

Bucky’s lips quirked into a smile and he leaned in, pressing his lips to yours. You let your hands rest on his forearms, letting them glide up his arms and to his shoulders as you kissed him back. Bucky’s lips were soft and plump, perfectly moving with yours. You let your eyes flutter shut and sighed into the kiss.

Bucky pulled you closer and your wrapped your arms around his neck, standing on your toes. Bucky easily picked you up as the kiss deepened, wrapping your legs around his waist. You carefully pulled out his hair tie, letting his thick hair fall, only to be tangled by your fingers. You gently tugged on it, hearing Bucky groan into the kiss.

He pulled away, your lips and his making a smacking sound. You breathed heavily, Bucky doing the same. He gently laid you down on your back on his bed, keeping your legs wrapped around him. His lips connected with yours again and you felt his tongue poke against your bottom lip. You opened your mouth, letting your tongue wrestle with his.

A moan fell from your lips and Bucky’s hands lifted your dress up, resting his hands on your thighs. Bucky ground his hips against yours and you moaned, feeling his crotch rub against you. His lips attached to the side of your neck and you gasped, tilting your head so he had better access. “Bucky.” You breathed, feeling him sucking on your pulse point. Bucky smirked against you and stopped sucking before he left a mark.

Bucky pulled away from you and you turned to look at him. His lips were wet and red from kissing you. “You’re so beautiful, Doll.” Bucky said, his hand gently caressing your cheek. You blushed and looked away from Bucky. “Hey,” Bucky kissed your cheek, “Look at me, Doll.” Bucky said softly. You giggled and looked at Bucky again, his eyes looking into yours.

Bucky smiled and leaned in, pressing his lips against yours again. You kissed him back, letting your fingers run through his hair. Bucky gasped a little, grinding his hips into yours again. You moaned softly and suddenly heard someone calling your name. You gasped and Bucky moved off of you, clearing his throat.

You quickly stood off Bucky’s bed, straightening your dress. Bucky stood away from you, rushing over to his desk to casually lean against it. The door suddenly opened and Steve looked inside. “There you are! I’ve been searching for you guys!” Steve said, sighing out. He looked between you and Bucky, noticing both of your red cheeks and the slightly messed up bed.

Steve pointed to the bed, his eyebrows furrowed. Steve scratched the back of his head and you blushed, shifting on your feet. You shyly looked at Bucky and he was blushing like you were. “You-your, the bed, Bucky.” Steve said, his eyes widening. “Don’t tell my Dad! Please!” You begged, seeing Sam barge into the room now. His eyebrows raised and he caught on quicker. “No way!” Sam said, laughing.

You groaned and walked over to Sam and Steve. “Promise me you won’t tell!” You pleaded as Bucky walked up to you. His arm slithered around your waist and Steve sighed, eyeing Bucky. “I won’t.” Steve finally said, looking at Sam. Sam stopped laughing and cleared his throat. “You have my word.” Sam said, smirking at you. You sighed and thanked the two guys before they left.

You turned to Bucky and he smiled down at you. “That was close.” You breathed, shyly smiling at Bucky. He chuckled and pressed a kiss to your forehead. Your stomach erupted with butterflies. “Let’s go before someone else comes in.” Bucky said, grabbing your hand. You smiled, looking down at your joined hands, suddenly not caring if anyone saw it. Not even your dad.

You were happy you deicded to visit again.

Ok, this spooked around in my head since @shadeandadidas wrote that bit about Even giving the phone to Isak.

  • At first the idea of talking to Even’s mom in general terrified him. He never even met the parents of his girlfriends and he knew the parents of his friends since he was a little kid.
Isak doesn’t like to speak on the phone, period.

  • But when Even was feeling down and he hadn’t yet met his parents (and, well, Sonja kindly offered but he really didn’t want to take her up on playing messenger between him and Even’s parents) so when his phone rang and it read Liv Bech Næsheim he had a little internal scream-attack

  • Of course she wanted to know how Even was. His energy wasn’t up to talk to her himself and since Isak hadn’t even met her it was understandable that she would want some kind of confirmation that her son was ok.

  • Next time was when the battery of Even’s phone had died (the fate of the only android user in a kollektivet full of iPhones - no spare charger for him) and he was at Isak’s for the weekend. Liv wanted to let Even know that they were going on a spontaneous trip and wouldn’t be home until tuesday.

  • Isak coughed awkwardly into the phone and handed Even the phone. (his heart rate didn’t calm down after that for half an hour)

  • Then there was the time when Even’s birthday was around the corner. It was the first time that Isak was the one calling her (after Mahdi, Magnus and Jonas all talked some courage into him) to check if the watch Even wanted was ok for him to get for Even or if they already covered that.

  • But when they talked about who would get that precious boy what, she made a frustrated sound. Bc god damn that computer never did what it is supposed to! And why is my screen so big all of a sudden? Oh no, I can’t even see anything anymore. So, Isak talked her through it, which earned him a lot of gratitude and she made him promise to come by soon so she could make him a thank you dinner.

  • After they met each other time and time again, when Isak went over to Even’s, when they ate dinner with his parents, when he got there before Even after school (he waited outside for 10 min until Liv saw him and asked him what he was waiting for - more awkward coughing) and Liv made them some tea.

  • And Isak never really experienced that. Talking with parents. Having conversations with parents. With his dad it had been the occasional “Everything ok in school?” to which he nodded and then his dad nodded and that was that. With his mom he talked, yeah… but never like this. He never had a grown up just listen to him, give advice or just talk to him from eye to eye.

  • So when Even came he was almost disappointed (he wasn’t bc Even, but almost) that he had to stop his conversation with Liv - which at this point was just about some banality, but meant so much. She gave him a warm smile and an even warmer hug.

  • From then on, when Even’s mom called to check in when Even hasn’t been home for a bit, she always asked to be put on with Isak. At first it was surprising (and a little alarming “She wants to talk to me??” he had mouthed the first few times) but he soon found that Liv genuinely asking how was school, are you eating enough? Will we see you soon at dinner? How did that math test go? was one of the most comfortable and satisfying things he never knew he missed.

  • So now when Even’s phone rings and it reads Liv Bech Næsheim Isak perks up every time. Pauses his game of Fifa, shushes his friends or closes his biology book with an awaiting smile. Knowing he is about to receive parental affection and to be fussed about.

Imagine your father, Tony Stark, walking in and seeing Peter shirtless in your bedroom (also, I imagine you guys are maybe Juniors or Seniors in High School during this)

- Head Honcho ~ Zoe

“Don’t you want to take off your suit?” You question as you and Peter lay on your bed, cuddled up under the covers with the Star Wars’ menu playing on the portable movie player your father made for your birthday last year. The actual device is like his phones but it projects the screen above it like one of his blueprint tables.

“But then I won’t feel like a cool badass superhero.” He whines, throwing his head back.

“Boohoo.” You pout out your bottom lip, mocking your boyfriend. “Now take it off.” You pat his chest then scoot away from him so he can stand up. When he does get up from the bed, you make sure to place a firm slap upon his precious little butt.

“Aye.” He covers his behind, turning around to scold you but you give him an innocent look.

“What?” You shrug. “I couldn’t help myself.” You smile and burrow back into your blankets.

“You never can help yourself.” He chuckles, shaking his head.

“I’m sorry that I love you so much!”

“You’re not sorry for that.” He scoffs, you nod. “But you should be sorry for how hands-y you are.” He points a finger at you.

“I’m a Stark, it’s in my blood.” You raise your hands up in defense. “Now take it off before I come over there and help you.”

Peter just shakes his head at you but none the less has a small smile on his face. He presses the spider in the middle of his chest causing his suit to loosen as he walks over to your dresser.

He lets his suit fall down his body while he digs through his clothes in the top drawer. You don’t fight the grin that easily comes on your face when you watch your boyfriend of two years sort through the drawer. The normalcy of it makes your heart all warm and fuzzy… speaking about warm and fuzzy;

“Can you throw me a sweater?” You call to him. He nods, grabbing his famous dark blue Midtown School of Science & Technology pullover. “Thank you.” You catch the clothing item he threw.

“No prob…lem.” He cuts himself off with a yawn, stretching his arms over his head.

“Tired?” You inquire, trying to find the head hole of the garment before putting it on.

“Yeah.” He nods. “Last night’s mission was rough.” He sighs, dropping his arms to his side.

"I know, I was there.” You let out a breathy laugh then (attempt to) pull his sweater over your head. Now it’s Peter’s turn to smile and get the warm, fuzzy feeling.

He tries to shake the teenage boy thoughts out of his head that were trying to replace his sweet innocent ones. He lets out a sigh and turns around back to the drawer, fixing the waistband of his boxers so they aren’t hanging so low on his hips

“What the hell is going on here?” Someone demands, their voice loud and full of anger. You don’t see who it is because you are currently struggling with the pullover.

“N-n-nothing, Mr. Stark.” Peter stutters out.

“Nothing my ass.” You hear your father mumble then you hear footsteps stomp against your floor followed by something slamming against the wall.

You finally get your head in the right hole and see your father holding your boyfriend to the wall, a furious look on his face.

“Dad!!” You shout, flinging your blankets off and rushing to the two. ”Dad!” You grab his arm and pull him back enough to get between the two men. “Calm down.”

Your father clenches his jaw and looks between the two of you. He notices your worried expression and relaxes his posture but doesn’t get out of protective dad mode.

“Sit down.” He demands, pointing to the bed while he walks a few feet in front of it. “Both of you, sit down.” He repeats. You and Peter share a hesitant look but go over to the bed and sit down at the foot of it.

A painful silence falls between the three of you as your father paces back and fourth.

“I-I-I swear, we didn’t do anything.” Peter bravely breaks the silence

“Then why are you stuttering?” Dad questions, Peter’s eyes widen.

“Th-tha-that’s a good point, but to be fair, I always stutter around you.” He lets out a nervous laugh, Dad sends him a look causing him to shut up and look down at his hands.

You sigh and hang your head. Out of the corner of your eye, you see Peter’s hands shaking a little bit. Even with Peter being Spiderman, he still shakes when he’s nervous or scared… especially when it comes to your father.

You carefully pull his hand from his lap and place it in yours, your fingers interlaces with his.

“I can’t believe you would do this to me.” Your father finally says. “I went to you for help and gave you a new suit, all access to… some of my lab, and you’re getting a free ride to college from my sponsorship for you.”

“And…” He stops pacing and runs a hand through his hair. “And to say thank you, you… fondue with my daughter.”

“As much as I hate to point this out right now, you knew and approved of Peter and I dating.” You bring up, your dad opens his mouth to speak but closes it.

“But I didn’t approve of you two fondueing.” He smirks.

You let out a scoff while rolling your eyes.

“You shouldn’t be one to scold me about that.” You call out. “And we weren’t doing anything like Peter said.”

“Then why were you getting your shirt back on and why was–” He sighs and facepalms. “–why is he–” He points to a very de-robed Spiderman. “in his underwear?” Peter’s face turns red and he grabs a blanket and covers himself up.

“I was cold and Peter was changing out of his suit.” You defend. “And if we were doing something, you could’ve walked in on a much worse moment.” Peter’s eyes widen and he shrinks down a bit, cringing at what you just said.

“I’m going to pretend you, my sweet little innocent pride and joy, didn’t just say that.” Dad closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. “But I’m just going to at least hope you guys are responsible.” He hints, not wanting to fully say to ‘use condoms’. You nod but his eyes are on Peter for that one.

“Peter.” He calls, the young brunette’s head shoots up. “Responsible?”

“What?” He furrows his eyebrows, you nudge his arm and give him a look. “Oh, yeah, yeah. Of course!” He furiously blushes but nods his head.

“Ok.” Dad wipes his sweaty hands on his pants while letting out a deep breath. “So, I’m just going to go then…” He slowly makes his way towards the door. “But if I do happen to come in here later, you both better be clothed and being sickeningly cute couple by cuddling, okay?”

“Yes, sir.” You both nod.

“Good.” He faintly smiles. “I’m going to go now…” He slowly closes the door.

“Bye, Dad.” You wave.

“Bye.” He sits his head back in then goes back to slowly closing the door. “Pizza for dinner.” He announces.

“Alright.” You giggle. ”Bye, Dad.” You repeat.

“Bye.” He whispers, the door fully closing now.

You wait a few seconds to let your father walk away from the door to say anything.

“Soooo…” You speak up. “Want to start the movie?”

“Please.” He stands up, heading to your dresser to start it and get every layer of clothing he can incase your father walks back in.

Home Ice

Bitty stood by, his scarf pulled halfway up his face as he looked on dubiously. “Are you sure this’ll work?”

Jack nodded. “My dad used to do this every winter,” he reminded him, not for the first time.

Bitty was still skeptical. He hadn’t said a word when Jack announced that he wanted to build a small skating rink in their new backyard. He had even helped Jack set up the wooden boards, but now that he was watching Jack lay out the tarp, he had his doubts.

“Uh, Dean?” you called over your shoulder into the apartment you shared with your best friend, never taking your eyes off of the man at the door.

He couldn’t be Dean’s little brother. Dean’s little brother was all limbs, a lanky, gangly kid; he had puppy-dog eyes and hand-me-down band tees.

The person in front of you, though… this tall, strong, gorgeous man, couldn’t be Sammy.

For @isamaegreenleaf…reader is a Stark as requested. Enjoy!

Y/N crept quietly around the tower. From what she could tell, the invasion her father had been warning her about was happening right now. She had recognized Dr. Selvig, but he seemed off somehow. He hadn’t even seen her. She honestly had no idea what was going on. The only thing she knew was that her dad wanted her out of sight of the fight.

“I could totally help,” she mumbled to herself.
“Mr. Stark wants me to tell you he can hear you,” JARVIS spoke to her from her watch.
She rolled her eyes. “Well dad, I totally could.”

Y/N craned her neck around the corner. Seeing no one else around, she straightened her posture. She ruffled her hair and walked over to the bar. She reached over the counter for a bottle. As she opened it, Y/N took off her watch.

“Well, this is a surprise.”

Y/N spun around to see Loki. The only reason she had known it was him was because of the video she had seen of Steve fighting him in Germany. She hadn’t expected him to look all too different from that footage. She swallowed, forcing a smile.

“I could say the same thing about you,” she stated, “You’re in my home, after all.”
You live here?” he asked with a cocked eyebrow, “Does my brother have a friend he forgot to mention?”
“Do you think your brother stupid enough to say everything?” she countered.

Loki smiled. He slowly made his way closer to Y/N. For some odd and frustrating reason, Y/N didn’t move a single muscle. She didn’t even step back into the bar. There was something about his eyes that held her interest. She just couldn’t pinpoint it.

“My brother is many things,” he whispered, “yours, however, he is not.”
She arched a brow. “Oh? And what makes you so sure?”
The man smirked, reaching his hand toward her. “He isn’t here, is he?”

Just before he was going to run his fingers through her hair, he stopped. Keeping his gaze, he lowered his hand without it ever having made contact with her. Part of her almost felt a loss without his touch. Y/N could hardly think, and it was driving her crazy.

“Tell me,” he continued to coo, “What is your name?”
“Y-Y/N,” she muttered.
He gave her a genuine smile. “Quite a lovely name.”

Y/N remained silent. She gulped again as she knit her brows. If she wasn’t mistaken, it appeared he was moving closer to her. He seemed to be slowly entering her space…and she was letting him.

A large explosion from outside managed to bring her back to the present circumstance. It had pulled her so much so that she actually looked out of the large windows. Instinctively, however, her gaze returned to seeking Loki’s.

He was gone.

Just as timely, her father slowed to a stop inside the tower. His face conveyed his worry. He hurried over to her.

“Are you okay? What did he do?” Tony rambled, “Where is he? Are you okay?”
Y/N started to nod. “Dad, I’m fine. Do I look hurt?”
Tony scanned his daughter. “No…He didn’t touch you with his scepter did he?”
She knit her brows. “No. He didn’t touch me at all. How’d you know he was here?”
“JARVIS sent the silent stress signal,” he paused, “Come on. I’m getting you out of here.”

Y/N didn’t bother to resist. She knew she wouldn’t be of much help now anyway. There was something about Loki that caused her senses to overload. She tried to focus as her dad led her to a safer place.

Okay but Trini and the other Rangers all having an unspoken agreement to not talk about her scars from Rita’s attack.

They all want to ask Trini about it but they’re scared that she’ll just shrug it off and say it’s not a big deal, that it doesn’t bother her and that if they’re going to be Power Rangers, there’s going to be things that hurt them.

Until one day, they’re all just chilling at school during lunch and one of Trini’s teachers sees her and for some reason makes a big deal about her doing well on some sort of test and patting her shoulder before she walks away and Trini shifts uncomfortably. None of them say anything, they all just watch Trini carefully.

She’s still not used to the attention, so the stares she gets from them confuse her until she realizes that they’ve been waiting for her reaction.

Trini doesn’t feel pressured to talk about it, but as all five of them are leaving school that day she just blurts, “Some nights I can’t sleep. It’s gotten to the point where my mom got me some pills to help, but I don’t take them.”

Billy is quiet and nods, because after his dad died, there were some nights when he couldn’t sleep, too. Zack, Jason, and Kim, however don’t really know what to do with the new information. They’re not sure if they should mention that they’re okay with Trini needing help to fall asleep, or if they should ask if she has nightmares or if they should assure her that everything is going to be okay.

Trini goes on and says something along the lines of, “Sometimes I’m scared she’s going to come back, you know? Like, we got rid of her once and I don’t have nightmares or anything but it’s scary thinking one of you guys could get hurt, too. I think it would be worse for me if I didn’t have you guys. It helps knowing that you’d be here if I needed anything.”

They’re all just so taken aback by how honest Trini sounds and Billy tells her that since they’re Power Rangers, they’ll always there for her and that they’re like a family.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Your past was rough. But everyone knew that. Your dad beat your mother and sometimes you until the age of 9 when a neighbor filed a police report after hearing the terrible sounds one night. Your father was currently in jail serving a life sentence and your mom had packed all of your things and moved you both back to her hometown of Riverdale.

You kept to yourself mostly, until a raven haired boy by the name of Jughead Jones approached you. He had been intrigued with you the moment his eyes landed on you, he noticed all of your behaviors but never pried, trying to make sure you were never uncomfortable.

Eventually, your past made its way past your lips a couple years after meeting him and all he could do was hug you as you told him detail after detail accompanied with a load of tears. But he never minded, in his eyes you were strong and beautiful and he could never see you otherwise. After that, you both were closer than ever, and you were always there for each other, especially when a good rant just need to leave your systems.

Your mother on the other hand never really did recover. She was always in and out of rehab every few months, claiming she was going through yet another problem. Because of this, she was never really there to parent you, you practically raised yourself. Without Jughead you would’ve truly been alone.
Your past plagued you with nightmares. Your mom’s screams for help, your father yelling at her to shut up. And then he would come after you. Night after night the torment continued and each morning you would lock it all away and wait until the next one that evening.

You never let anyone now about the nightmares. They were your own little secret. Jughead had his suspicions when he would continuously see the bags under your eyes, but said nothing.

Now it was another normal Friday night. You and Jughead were both at your house finishing homework so that you wouldn’t be stressed about it the rest of the weekend. He usually would accompany you on Friday nights so that you wouldn’t be lonely. (Your mom had checked herself into another rehab because of ‘attempted drug use”, but you knew it was just another excuse.)

On that night, you had ordered takeout from Pop’s as you both worked on homework for Algebra 2. After you had finished an hour later, you realized just how late it was. “I can’t believe it’s already 10:00.” Jughead quickly looked at the clock to confirm your statement. “Wow.” He commented.

“You turned to him with a look of worry. “Jug, I don’t want you walking home this late, especially with Jason’s death. I don’t know what I’d do with myself if you-.” He quickly cut you off. “Nothing’s going to happen to me, don’t worry. I’ll sleep on the couch here or something.” He assured you. You nodded and went to grab him a few blankets and a pillow so that he wouldn’t be too uncomfortable. He thanked you and then went to situate them in a way that would suit his tall figure.

“I’m go gonna go to bed then, Goodnight, I’ll see you in the morning Jug.” You said as you kissed him on the cheek and then headed off to your room. You brushed your teeth and washed your face quickly before changing into some pj’s and climbing into bed. You sighed softly knowing what was to come when you closed your eyes but persuaded yourself to do so anyway. A few minutes later, you were asleep.

“You lying slut!” your father roared as your mother flinched in her seat. “You know you aren’t supposed to talk to other men! What the hell were you thinking!?” Your mother looked at him confused. “I was talking to my cousin. I haven’t seen him in 5 ye-.” She was interrupted with a loud slap. She gripped her cheek as hot tears ran down her face.

“Don’t talk back to me! You should know not to by now.” He took another swig of what seemed to be his fifth beer. “I don’t fucking care if he was your cousin, you’re mine.” He took another drink. “You and little y/n over there.” He turned to you as you tried to avoid his stare. “Look at me when I’m speaking to you.” He growled as you quickly looked up at him. “I-I’m sorry daddy.” He grinned, “That’s better. “Now,” he walked over to your small trembling frame and came to stop with his arms crossed.

“Any news about school? How are your grades? He opened another beer as he waited for you to answer. ‘Well, we had a spelling test but I…” you trailed off knowing you’d be in trouble. “But what?” He snarled. “I-I-I didn’t d-do so well.” You finished quietly as you looked down. Your father was enraged.

You felt a burning pain on your cheek and shrieked in response. “Why the fuck are we putting you in a damn school if you never learn anything you fucking idiot!!?” he shouted as another strike came down. All you could do was scream when-

You were shaken awake as blue worried eyes peered down at you. His rustled black hair fell in his face as he called your name trying to get a response.
“Y/n?” you sat up breathing hard as you gripped the sheets, trying to gain some control over your movements. Stray tears fell down your face as Jughead pulled you into his body trying his best to calm you down. “Shh y/n… It’s ok… I’m here…” You only heard small bits of what he was saying as you tried to calm down.

“Hey, can you hear me? Good. Now listen to my voice. I want you to breathe in and out with me, understood?” you nodded as you listened to his soothing voice and inhaled. “Good job, you’re doing so good, I’m here y/n, I’m here.” You continued to deep breathe and eventually the tears stopped. But Jughead continued to hold you, slightly rocking you back and forth.

“How long?” he finally asked after a moment of silence. “How long what?” “How long have you been having nightmares?” he clarified. You finally detached yourself from him and immediately regretted it when his comforting arms disappeared. “Since I moved here.” You replied quietly.

“What” you cowered and bowed your head immediately muttering a sorry. “No.” he lifted your head up with his pointer finger. “Don’t you ever be sorry. I’m just upset that you never told me about this within the longevity of our friendship.” He looked into your deep e/c eyes and sighed.

“Were they about your dad?” you nodded slowly. He silently cursed to under his breath. “Y/n, I can’t pretend I know what you’re going through because I don’t. But I will ALWAYS be here for you, ok? Always. Even if its 2 am and you’ve woken up with another nightmare call me, and I will come for you. I promise.” Your lip trembled as he pulled you into another embrace. “I’ll always be here…”

There was a little boy curled up on the bed. His face was buried in one of four pillows, and his little shoulders trembled with the force of his sobs. He was clothed in a flannel a couple sizes too big for him and cotton pajama pants. His feet were bare.

A stream of moonlight was the only source of light in the room. The storm outside must have knocked the power out. Over the rushing scream of the wind, the sound of your wings flapping was too quiet to be heard.

———————————————————–

“We were just kids when we fell in love, not knowing what it was.”

The first time I met Jughead Jones, I was 5 years old. We were in kindergarten, and he didn’t have any crayons, so I shared mine with him. He just stared at me when I had slid the pack in between our desks. I nodded towards the box and he took one, nodding back. Even though he didn’t say anything. I knew he was thankful.

We didn’t talk much until the third grade, when he was having trouble in school and I offered to help. Once again, I never got a thank you, but I didn’t mind. I knew he was thankful, even if he didn’t say it.

We were casual friends through elementary school, and in the 6th grade we rode the bus together. The first day of middle school, I spotted the boy in his oversized gray beanie sitting alone on the big yellow vehicle, a scowl on his face that I was almost convinced was permanent. He was alone in the very back seat, staring out the window. I immediately made my way to the back, plopping my tiny body right next to his. We looked funny together, me in my incredibly bright blue skirt and pink top, and him in his black clothes, but I had always thought we contrasted perfectly.

I sat by him every day, getting on the bus and smiling at him before silently doing my homework, and him staring out the window. Sometimes I tried to talk to him, but I never got a response.

One day, I had gotten on the bus before Jughead after school. Feeling particularly down that day, sat in a seat near the front alone. I set my bag on my lap, resting my chin in my hands and staring out the window sadly. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see Jughead standing by my seat, a questioning look on his face. He jabbed a thumb towards the rear of the bus and held out his hand, and I smiled before taking his and letting him lead me to our seat in the back.

After that day, he spoke to me every time I saw him. He had told me about his hobbies, and what he liked to do. He told me about his mom and his dad, and his sister, and when I realized that there wasn’t really a lot he was comfortable telling me, I would tell him all about my life. Those days on the bus turned in to days spent with each other as much as we could in school, and then hanging out after school and on the weekends as well. Jughead was my best friend, and I was his.

“Well I found a girl, beautiful and sweet.
Oh I never knew you were the someone waiting for me.”

Fast forward to high school, and our friendship grew in to something more. Despite how different in personality the two of us were, somehow, we were attached to each other. The night Jason Blossom’s death became a homicide case, Jughead was knocking on my window, crawling in to my bedroom and hugging me tightly. He cried in to my shoulder, telling me how terrified he was. After I had told him he would be fine, he shook his head, telling me I was the only thing he was worried about. I cupped his face in my hands, pulling him down and kissing him softly. That was the night we got together.

We had been together as a couple for a few months now, although it felt like longer. The only thing that had really changed between us was that we kissed a lot more, and there was a little more PDA. We didn’t fight or disagree hardly ever, which was a relief for me, considering my parents did a lot. I was grateful my relationship with Jughead was smooth and unbreakable, because everything else around me always seemed to be falling apart.

It was the night before my birthday, and I was with my friends at Pop’s. I sat on the counter of the diner, Jughead sitting in the chair in front of me with his head laying against my leg. I played with the hair that stuck out of the front of his hat as our friends talked about school and other things. It was late, and I knew that I would have to be getting home soon, so I tapped Jughead’s shoulder. He moved his head and I hopped off the counter, smoothing out the front of my blue dress.

I said goodbye to my friend, giving them each a hug, before Jughead took my hand, leading me out the door. I looked up at my boyfriend, the ends of my lips curling in to a smile. I leaned my head against his shoulder as we walked towards my house, happy to be wrapped up in the bliss that was being with Jughead Jones.

But, of course, all good things come to an end, and soon enough I was in front of my house, my body feeling with dread. I wasn’t in the mood to listen to my mother and father have another screaming match, especially the night before my birthday. I gave Jughead a kiss goodnight, after he hugged me tightly and gave me a few words of encouragement.

I unlocked my front door, turning the knob and going inside. It was almost too quiet, the silence crawling up my spine and giving me unfriendly goosebumps. I saw the kitchen light on and headed towards the room, avoiding a picture frame and a vase that were shattered in the hallway and living room. I sucked in a breath, knowing that whatever happened tonight didn’t end well.

I stepped cautiously in to the kitchen, seeing my dad sat at the dining room table. His head was in his hands, his fingers tangled in to his hair.

“Dad?” I spoke softly, and I almost thought he didn’t her me until he raised his head and turned to look at me. His eyes were red and puffy and his cheeks were wet with tears.

“Hey, sweetheart.” My dad sniffled, wiping away the tears that fell down his face and waving me over. I walked slowly to him, sitting down at the table. My dad took my hand, trying his best to smile at me.

“What happened?” I asked him. My dad tensed a bit, looking down at the hardwood table that his arms rested upon.

“Your mother and I got in to a fight tonight. A big one.” He started, stopping to take a deep breath.” And she thinks that things would be better if we were separated for a while.”

I knew that was coming. It had been a long time coming, to be honest. I wasn’t too surprised.

“Ok, where’s mom?” I asked, my head turning to look around the house, as if she would magically appear next to me at any moment.

“She, uh, she left.” My dad gulped, looking at me with sad eyes.

“Where’d she go?” I asked, my heart now breaking.

“I-I don’t know, kiddo, but look.” My dad turned his attention to me, full on.” We’re going to make the best of tomorrow, ok?” I nodded and my dad leaned over, wrapping an arm around me and hugging me.” I’m sorry that she did this, but I promise I’ll do my best to make sure that doesn’t ruin tomorrow.”

I hugged my dad goodnight, not really in the mood to talk about anything else, and went up to my room. I laid on my bed for a while, not having the emotional energy to do anything else. After a bit, I went and checked on my little sister, and went downstairs to check on my dad. I sighed, seeing him passed out on the couch. I couldn’t be in this house right now. I had to leave for a little bit.

I grabbed my jacket from the hanger by the door, shoving my phone and wallet in the pocket and slipping on my tennis shoes. I quietly opened the door and stepped out, hearing the door click softly. I locked the knob and stepped off my porch, walking down the driveway. I was on my way to Archie’s house, knowing that there was only one person I needed right now more than anything.

When I made it to Archie’s, I pulled out my phone, clicking on Jughead’s contact. I sent him a quick text and waited a few moments before seeing a shadow at Fred Andrew’s door, sneaking out the front door.

“What’s wrong?” Jughead immediately asked, his arms going around me.

“She left, Jughead. She just… left.” I spoke blankly, my chin resting against Jughead’s shoulder. Jughead pulled back, looking at me.

“Who?”

“My mom. She’s gone. She left town. Nobody knows when she’s coming back.” Saying it out loud made the whole situation hit me, and I started crying, sinking in to Jughead’s chest.

“Y/n, I’m sorry, I’m so so sorry.” Jughead hugged me tightly. I sniffled, staining his jacket with my tears. Jughead’s hands ran up and down my back, calming me as best as he could.

After a few moments when I had stopped crying, Jughead took my hand and led me down the sidewalk. I leaned against his side, the side of my head resting against his bicep. We strolled down our neighborhood in a comfortable silence, and I felt a lot better now that I was with him. Something was bothering me though, and I knew exactly what it was.

I tugged on Jughead’s hand, leading him towards a bench while we passed by the city park. I sat down, Jughead sitting right beside me.

“How are you feeling?” He asked.

“Honestly?” Jughead nodded.” I feel terrible.”

Jughead sighed sadly, his face softening at my words. His arm went around me, rubbing my shoulder tenderly. We sat in silence for a few moments before I finally spoke again.

“Are we going to end up like them?” I turned and looked at Jughead, who looked confused.
“Our parents. Are we going to end up like our parents?”

Silence.

Jughead’s hand stopped rubbing my shoulder, falling down my back. He looked away, biting at the inside of his cheek. After a minute, he looked back at me.

“Y/n, we aren’t our parents.”

“That doesn’t mean what happened to them won’t happen to us.” I pointed out, my hand moving away from Jughead’s thigh, where it had previously been resting.

“It won’t.”

“How do you know?” I argued, standing from the bench. I started to pace, trying to calm myself down. I didn’t want to fight with Jughead, but if I kept this up, that’s where things were going to head.

“Y/n, will you sit down please?” I turned to Jughead who was now standing, hands shoved in his pockets. He nodded his head towards the bench and I complied, walking back toward it and smoothing my dress against my legs as I sat.

“When we first met, we were in kindergarten.” Jughead began, standing in front of me.” You were the first kid to talk to me. All throughout elementary school, you would do nothing but show kindness to me, even though I hardly ever returned it. You never gave up on me, even following in to middle school. I had these walls built so high even at such a young age, but you were the first person to ever get through them. Now I can’t ever seem to imagine living a life without you.” Jughead paused, his hands moving in his pockets.

“I don’t deserve you. I honestly don’t. You keep me going, even when everything else around me feels like its falling apart. Everything I’ve been through, everything we’ve been through, you’ve stayed by my side the entire time.” I saw Jughead’s fist clench in his pocket and he exhaled, the cold air showing his breath flow from between his lips before disappearing.

“I was going to wait until, well, tomorrow to do this, but I think right now is better.” Jughead got down on one knee and my breath hitched in my throat. I felt my heart stop for a second before it began to race.

“I want to make a promise to you. I want to promise you that no matter what happens, I will never leave your side. I want to live my whole entire life with you. When I imagine what my future will be like, all I have to do is look in your eyes. I see you in every part of it. I want that. I want to live with you, I want to wake up next to you every day. I want to fall asleep next to you every night. I want to have kids with you, and grow old with you, and whatever else I do with my life, I just want it to be with you.” Jughead’s hand left his pocket, a small black velvet box now in the palm of his hand.

“I know we’re only kids still, but if there’s one thing I know, it’s that I am truly, wholeheartedly in love with you, and that I want to share my entire life with you. If there’s only one thing that I can ever call mine in life, I want it to be your heart, and I want you to have mine.” Jughead lifted his other hand, opening the box. Inside was a ring, with a diamond on top, and two tiny round diamonds engraved in to the ring on either side.

“Your heart is all I own
And in your eyes you’re holding mine”

“I know we’re young, and we can’t really…get married for another year.” Jughead paused, exhaling quickly through his nose. “But what I’m asking is, when that time comes… Will you marry me?”

By now I had tears flowing down my cheeks, my mouth over my hand and unable to speak, so I furiously nodded my head to say yes. Jughead smiled brightly, taking my left hand in his and sliding the ring on to my finger. Jughead stood from the ground and I jumped up from the bench, wrapping my arms tightly around his neck. Jughead’s arms went to my waist, lifting me and spinning me around once before setting me down and dipping his head down to kiss me.

“We are still kids, but we’re so in love
Fighting against all odds”

When we broke apart, my hands went under my eyes, wiping the tears that had been falling down my face.

“Gosh, I probably look like a mess.” I laughed bitterly, and I was betting I was right. I hadn’t taken off my makeup when I left my house, and my hair was up in a messy bun, and there was probably black all under my eyes from my mascara.

Jughead cupped my face in his hands, the pads of his thumbs running against my cheeks.

“You look perfect.” He spoke, so soft that I almost didn’t even hear him, before leaning down and kissing me again.

“When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath
But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight”

“Us…everything.” With that, he zipped the suitcase closed and wedged himself between the wall and you, out of the room and out of the house.

You’ve Got A Friend In Me

A./N: I’m so so sorry this is so late! I’m probably going to go looking for members because I have too much going on at school to keep these coming out in a timely manner. I apologize again! I love you :)

You adjusted your backpack on your shoulders, taking a deep breath before you pushed your way past the bodies in the crowded hallway. Needless to say, you were nervous as hell. Kids in high school weren’t always the nicest, and despite being a Stark, making friends wasn’t at all your forte. You were too introverted for your own good, and your method of making friends consisted of you waiting for an extrovert to take you under their wing. Starting at a new school a month in wasn’t helping your case either. You clutched your schedule in one hand, desperately hoping you would find your classroom before the bell rang. You were so frazzled, you didn’t; realize that someone was trying to talk to you. You looked up and were greeted by a boy, he was taller than you, with messy brown hair and a shy smile.

You didn’t say anything, so he spoke first. “Are you new? You look kind of lost.”

“Uh, yeah. I’m looking for AP bio with Woolfsen.”
