nobody's home!

Quit (Sia & Ariana Grande)

Quit (Sia & Ariana Grande)

Cashmere Cat - Quit (Ariana Grande & Sia Duet Version)

And you say that I’m the devil you know
And I don’t disagree, no, I don’t see the harm

They say, “You crazy, just leave him, he’ll suffocate you”
But I wanna be in your arms

They say, “No, don’t pick up the phone, let them think there’s nobody home”
But I’m under your spell
‘Cause when you call my heart starts to roll
I always want more
It’s my heaven, my hell

We’re heading deep
Inside lives a voice, a voice so quiet
But I can’t hear that voice when your heart beats next to mine

I can’t quit you
I can’t quit you
I can’t quit you
I can’t quit you
Yeah, I’m gonna regret it
Yeah, I’m gonna regret it
Yeah, I’m gonna regret it
I know I’m gonna regret it

When you said, “Baby, I just want you to lay me down and we’ll fuck the pain away”
'Cause skin on skin, I feel nothing but the burning of desire
And that’s just foreplay

We’re heading deep
Inside lives a voice, a voice so quiet
But I can’t hear that voice when your heart beats next to mine

I can’t quit you
I can’t quit you
I can’t quit you
I can’t quit you
Yeah, I’m gonna regret it
Yeah, I’m gonna regret it
Yeah, I’m gonna regret it
I know I’m gonna regret it

I can’t quit you
I can’t quit you, oh baby
I can’t quit you
I can’t quit you, oh babe
Gonna regret it
Yeah, I’m gonna regret it
Yeah, I’m gonna regret it
I’m gonna regret it
I’m gonna regret it
(babe, babe, babe)
Gonna regret it
Yeah, I’m gonna regret it

Extroverted Introverts: Ten things to know

Also known as an ambivert, an extroverted introvert is someone who exhibits qualities of both introversion and extroversion.

1. Their spot on the spectrum changes with their environment.

Your ambivert friend may be loud and gregarious around their family, but quiet and thoughtful at the office. Seeing them in both situations may feel like meeting two entirely different people.

2. Talking to strangers is fine – but don’t expect them to keep it to small talk.

Although an ambivert can hold up their end of a conversation, talking about the weather will not be enough to engage them. Their social energy is limited enough that they won’t want to waste it on meaningless chatter. They will likely push the conversation into deeper territory or bow out entirely.

3. They like to be alone – they don’t like to be lonely.

There is a big difference between the two. Choosing to sit at home with a tub of ice cream and a book feels fantastic. Sitting at home because nobody called them back feels sad and lame.

4. Getting them out of the house can be a challenge.

If you catch your friend on a highly introverted day, you may just be better off leaving them at home. They might manage to be social, but they’ll just be thinking about their books and their couch the whole time.

5. If they’re new, you can find them in the back of the room.

An introverted extrovert will approach new situations with cautious excitement. If they know someone in the group, they will likely cling to them a bit as they become comfortable. If they do not, they might waver on the edge of the crowd, slowly getting used to the water rather than jumping in all at once.

6. They’re selectively social.

They don’t mean to be snobs. They just have limited social energy and prefer interacting one-on-one or in small groups. For this reason, they can only afford to invest their social time and energy in those who they feel truly connected to.

7. Making friends is easy. Keeping them is hard.

They like talking to people, but they value their alone-time, as well. This can make maintaining a friendship tricky. If your ambivert friend makes an effort to consistently invest time and energy in your friendship, be glad. You are truly special to them.

8. Their social desires change with the breeze.

They might be desperate to hang out with you on Friday, but then not answer your call on Saturday. They’re not mad at you. They’re just super comfortable in bed watching films.

9. They can talk to you for hours.

If you manage to catch them in a one-on-one situation, an extroverted introvert will just not shut up. Once their interest is engaged, there’s no stopping them.

10. Listening is great too, though.

Sometimes they want to be a part of the action, but their social energy levels are too low for them to contribute in a meaningful way. Listening allows them to get to know you without burning up their social fuel. They also know its value from their chattier moments when they are desperate for an ear.

Nobody knows what you go through every day in your home. Nobody knows what you think of every second of the day. Nobody knows how you truly feel.
And for that matter, practice to be respectful towards others, be kind, & be humble.
You never know how much your words or actions can affect someone.
Analyze that people could be going through hell and they could simply be sitting or standing right beside you.

Also, I liked the way they reenacted the fanart in the first clip in the first episode. But they're continuing to try to please the evak shippers and I feel like they're sometimes planning sanas story to fit what people want to see if Evak. I don't know if that's me being grumpy but ://

hey lovie! hmm, I don’t really see that, to be honest. Isak and Even have been in very few clips, and she needed to end up in Isak’s apartment anyway. I feel like it would be weirder if Even wouldn’t have been there.

thing is, people who have only watched parts of season three in real time are very used to the character almost living in a vacuum and take this as the skam way, so to speak. during Isak’s season, nobody else seemed to have any problems, just him. if characters did struggle, such as Noora with William, it was only very, very briefly mentioned to help Isak’s story move along. and while I get this being nice for many people, there’d already been two season before that in which the exact opposite had happened. the struggles of so many of the other characters were shown during both Noora’s and Eva’s season, which to me seems much more realistic. people talk to each other, they live lives outside of the main character’s one, they are who they are even if it doesn’t help the story of the main character, and that’s what’s happening here now.

Even and Isak are together. they live together, they’re going to discuss who has to do the laundry and who has to buy the bread, because that’s what couples do. it all seems very natural and organic to me and to call the healthy portrayal of a relationship between two boys, one of which is mentally ill, fan service, seems like a disservice to so many of the people who take strength, courage and inspiration from their story.

Being pregnant with Steve Rogers' baby:

• Without any doubt, when you discover your pregnancy, you are already married to Steve.
   - Some people around him tend to forget it, but he has been raised in the Catholic values. It means, he still believes in God, and for him, starting a family means being committed and happily married.
• Steve is speechless for a quick moment when you tell him about your pregnancy.
• However, the shock of the news swallowed, he takes you in his arms, careful to not use his super-strength and he peppers kisses all over your face.
• He chuckles, saying he is the happiest man on the planet and he gives you that smile. The same smile that made your knees go weak.
• After a long moment, he releases you from his arms in panic because he thinks he’s hurting the baby.
• Your husband immediately finds a safe house like Clint’s, but a Brooklyn inspired one. Nobody knows about your home location to protect your future family.
• The team is overly happy that a mini-avenger is on their way! Natasha is the happiest of all and she can’t hide her tears.
• Tony calls himself godfather or uncle… it depends on the days.
  - “No, Tony! My child isn’t going to wear a metal suit.”
  - “Steve, I’m obviously the uncle here, so this baby will have tons of gifts, including a suit.”
  - “I swear if you-”
  - “Y/N, your husband is threatening me.”
• He hates the morning sicknesses as much as you because he feels helpless.
• Steve spends his free days making your house safe for the baby.
• You are annoyed that you can’t go on missions for a while and you get bored easily.
• But your husband spoils you whenever he can. He just makes sure you are comfortable and happy all the time. He’s the sweetest of all.
• Steve buys every book he finds and does all the research he needs because he wants to be ready to welcome the baby.
• Sam and Bucky are always here to calm him down when he’s feeling stressed.
• Gosh, he is so adorable when he is with you. He keeps saying you are his safe haven.
• He overreacts every time he learns something new about the pregnancy.
• Steve is worried your child will have the same issues he had before the serum, but you tell him this baby will be loved and cherished, anyway.
• You cuddle all the time.
• He’s so into you, though!
• The first time you can really feel the baby kicks, you rush to his office and without a word, you place his hand on your stomach. This is a very emotional moment for both of you.
• Since then, he always asks you before rubbing your belly and listening to your baby.
• Steve confesses he is afraid of fatherhood because of his family’s story.
• You tell him that he will learn just like you and if he protects the baby as much as you, then they will never catch a cold.
• Never.
• You try to convince your husband to go on missions because that’s his duty.
• He promises you he will come back and he tries to call you every day to have some news whether they are important or unnecessary to share.
• When you’re away, Steve asks Laura for help every time your hormones drive you mad.
• - “You’re so beautiful in that dress. Let’s go for a walk in the park?”
  - “You disabled the Wi-Fi on my laptop once again, haven’t you?”
  - “Uh…?”
  - “Steve.”
  - “But it’s not healthy for anyone, doll!”
• He says he doesn’t have a preference about the gender of your baby, but he secretly wants a girl. He thinks there are too many male members of the Avengers family.
• During the last months of your pregnancy, Steve places his cup of coffee on your belly just to make you laugh.
• You think of calling your baby either Sarah if it’s a girl or James if it’s a boy.

Bonus:
• Steve tries to be so prepared that he’s got a whole schedule made out for the day you would go into labor. He named it: Rogers family’s D-Day.
• When you finally go to the hospital, he grips your hand harder than you are holding is.
• Even though you are completely exhausted after giving birth to your baby, your husband thinks you are the most beautiful woman in the world.
• So many tears are shed when Steve holds and looks down at the baby for the first time. His whole life he thought he’d never have his own family and now that he does, he can’t even explain how happy he is.

Watchdogs are worried about all that personal data the Trump election panel wants

  • On its face, the idea of a commission to study the integrity of America’s election system might seem sensible.
  • But as Loyola Law School Professor Justin Levitt, who served as deputy assistant attorney general in the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department under Obama, said Trump election commission’s vague mission is part of why it’s so disturbing.
  • When Kansas secretary of state and panel co-chair Kris Kobach requests not just enrollment information, but specifics on party affiliation and home addresses, “Nobody really knows why he’s asking,” Levitt said in a phone interview. Read more (7/5/17)
TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS

Actually mad that I was walking around all day today -specifically today- with chapped lips and nobody said anything, got home and looked in the mirror and said dAMN SON YOU LOOK BAD and NOBODY said ANYTHING

STEP YOUR FRIEND GAME UP LET A BOY KNOW WHEN HE HAS CHAPPED LIPS AND ASHY HANDS AND HIS SCARF GAME AINT RIGHT OR WHATEVER

Let’s talk for a second how in ‘The Final Problem’ when Mycroft was about to face off with a clown, how not only does his umbrella turn into a sword, but he saluted said Clown as if it were a proper match.
