Summary: Some thugs recognise you on the street and you cry about it to Steve. Bucky and Nat meet up to discuss business. HUGE REVELATIONS PEOPLE. Better fasten your seatbelt. Also, it’s not a coincidence this part ends the same way the previous one did, with a certain character disappearing into the loud traffic.

Talk of murder, cheating, violence and death. Please do not read belong
the cut if you’re not comfortable with any of forementioned!
What the heck, I didn’t even notice that the title card for the original Killing Stalking was so cool, look at this:
In Korean, the title should be written 킬링 스토킹 but they’ve replaced the ㅋ and the ㅅ with their English consonant counterparts. What a neat stylistic choice. I prefer this to the rough, scribbly font they used for the English title card instead.
And while everyone’s attention is on Trump, the Romanian government has just overturn an anti corruption law and set free inmates serving sentences of up to five years for non-violent crimes.
This means that about 2,500 people, including several elected officials and magistrates who are behind bars after being convicted of corruption, will be released.
The law allows anyone that has stolen or will stole less than 45k euro to not face charges. The law was approved tonight at 10 pm even though people are protesting for weeks against it and last night 40000 people protested only in Bucharest.
I have always loved my country even though people don’t have the best opinion about us but now, in this moment, I am ashamed, I want to scream and I just want really really bad to just fucking punch them. They have humiliated us, they have ignored us and they’ve approved this law like cowards in the middle of the night.
We will not stop here. We will do all we can to stop them. They are sending us away and just sell the country piece by piece but we will not go down without a fight. Not as long as we are breathing!
Some racist hooligan assaulted a black couple who just came to Italy from Nigeria as war refugees. He killed the husband,
Emmanuel Chidi Nnamdi
, who was defending his wife,
Chimiary, after that man started calling her racial slurs out of nowhere. He is dead, the hooligan killed him WITH A ROAD SIGN. He hit him again and again, in front of his wife.
This happened in Fermo, Italy, twenty minutes away from where I live. This has shocked me so much. Racism is a serious problem in Italy, fascism and intolerance are escalating, horrible politicians like Salvini (the Italian equivalent of Donald Trump) are encouraging racism and are actively trying to block the refugees from entering out country.
Please don’t let this go unnoticed: tumblr is pretty US-centric, but people need to know the names of all the victims of hate, from all over the world. Emmanuel needs to be remembered and mourned. Please, don’t let racism win. I’m still shocked, this happened so close to my hometown. Don’t let them win. Fight this horrible hate.
It’s not okay for partners to hit each other!!! Just because one of them is a girl does not mean she can hit or slap her boyfriend!!! Arguments and anger do not justify violence!! I’ve seen relationships depicted like this in fanfiction, books, tv shows, and movies and it’s not okay. Gender does not matter. You. Do. Not. Hit. Your. Partner.
for the many of you who have been asking about my vietnam war era hamlet ideas: i finally typed up a little something to share with y’all about my future directorial plans. i plan to keep shakespeare’s original text in the production, with minor changes and/or cuts as needed. (the only major cut would be gertrude’s death, i think it’s important for her to be alive at the end, and you’ll see why.)
this production focuses on the conflicts between younger and older generations, american hyper-praise of masculinity and what it means within the concept of war, and what happens when people put trust into political institutions blindly. this production also exploration of sexual identity and queerness, drug use, and how war affects all aspects of life.
(sidebar: these are all original ideas of mine, so if you end up using them, citation/credit is necessary. if you end up doing a vietnam war era interpretation of hamlet after reading this, please tell me, i want to hear all about it!)
let me tell you if anybody. a n y b o d y . outs Jack before he is ready and able? I’ll kill them. I will literally fucking kill them. he’s a fictional character you say? I don’t give a fuck. I’ll draw my own damn comic, and it’ll be a comic specifically dedicated to me kicking this character’s ass and fucking m u r d e r i n g him. I’ll transfer to SCAD. I’ll learn ngozi’s art style so that my shit matches hers exactly and it looks like a mcfuckening piece of official Check Please™ artwork and it’ll be me, my self insert, taking a knife and fucking murderign this jackass who thought it would be funny to out my hockey baby. how fucking dare they. how dare,
Disability seems like the only part of the social justice movement you’re allowed to comment on/have an opinion on with absolutely no previous knowledge, no actual idea of what you’re talking about, no experience with it, and your opinion is taken as 100% accuracy. People have based entire literal killing sprees (recently, too) off of this shit, but if we speak up about it or just ask to be consulted before an able bodied person says what they think our opinion is we’re asking too much and being too demanding.
men don’t realize that they understand the point of women’s liberation, but they do. they understand it very well.
every time a dude says some shit like, “oh, you’re for equality of the sexes? does that mean I can hit you?” he is demonstrating his perfect understanding of the shortcomings of egalitarianism.
men target women for not being men, but men don’t only target women. men also beat the shit out of each other. men rape each other. men kill each other. men treat each other like absolute shit.
virtually all of the violence that occurs on this planet is committed by males, whether it’s committed against females or against other males. men tell us every day, in no uncertain terms, that they believe “equality” means “violence.” equality with these barbarians? I think not.
liberation from their generations-old, ironclad system of perpetual violence and destruction? yes, please. sign me up.
“A commitment to sexual equality with men is a commitment to becoming the rich instead of the poor, the rapist instead of the raped, the murderer instead of the murdered.” –Andrea Dworkin
A/N- Hello! I’m Red and this is my first post. I promise not to do shitty and hopefully you all like my work. This is a cis-girl fiction and yes, this fanfiction is inspired by the song “You belong to me” by none other Brian Firkus. You can check that song here https://youtu.be/Yr4yiwX4MJM
there’s nothing wrong about these general posts but i want to share something that took me twenty years to fully realise -
abuse has virtually no correlation with mental illness. that’s a psychological fact. certain mental illnesses can exacerbate abusiveness, but it is not a cause. “happening to do something abusive because of mental illness” just… does not happen. while there are aspects of abusive thinking that may be unconscious in the mind of an abuser, abusive actions are always a choice. abusing someone does not accidentally happen, especially as a result of having a mental illness.
in a mentally ill abuser, the abusiveness existed before the mental illness. when abusers use mental illness as justification, as a blanket explanation, as a tactic to provoke sympathy and guilt, that is manipulation, and a way to continue their abusiveness. mental illness can exacerbate pre-existing abusiveness, but it is not a cause.
“The most recent research shows that even in
physically violent abusers the rate of mental
illness is not high. (…) Research does indicate that the most extreme
physical batterers—the ones who choke their
partners to unconsciousness, who hold guns to
their heads, who stalk and kill—have increased
rates of mental illness. But there is no particular
mental health condition that is typical of these
severe batterers; they can have a range of
diagnoses, including psychosis, borderline
personality, manic depression, antisocial
personality, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and
others. (And, even among the most dangerous
abusers, there are many who do not show clear
psychiatric symptoms of any kind.)
How can all these different mental illnesses
cause such similar behavioral patterns? The
answer is, they don’t. Mental illness doesn’t cause
abusiveness any more than alcohol does. What
happens is rather that the man’s psychiatric
problem interacts with his abusiveness to form a
volatile combination. If he is severely depressed,
for example, he may stop caring about the
consequences his actions may cause him to suffer,
which can increase the danger that he will decide
to commit a serious attack against his partner or
children. A mentally ill abuser has two separate—
though interrelated—problems, just as the
alcoholic or drug-addicted one does.” lundy bancroft, 2002
