sometimes i think about how after the ending of wall-e the humans probably died from exposure to the diseases that wouldve developed long before plant life did, if it ever died in the first place, due to their extremely compromised immune systems. even if the ship had on-board systems to innoculate them diseases grow and evolve so fast that their bodies would have no way to defend against these new superbugs. and even assuming im dumb as hell and dont know how bacteria works (likely) people that have lived their entire lives in a hoverchair and think that pizza grows on plants wouldnt even be able to walk due to the extreme muscle atrophy, and because of their sheltered existence aboard the spaceship they wouldnt have the skills or knowledge necessary to survive on a barren, mostly lifeless planet.
this has bugged me for 9 years. i didnt have a lot of friends as a kid by the way
