no really i guess i am sorry

anonymous asked:

yo blitz is dark skinned why is your art of him so,,,, light

I’m sorry, I really don’t understand how is this light?

Or is it not clear enough that this character is black? I really don’t understand…Like, if you compare him to Hearth for example… I don’t think Blitz comes off as white? Maybe the lighted areas are giving you this opinion? Or is Blitz just not..as black as you imagine him?

I guess he isn’t as dark as I drew TJ or Walt, but still?

I try to give characters various versions of skin depth, so…I am honestly a bit confused.

Hi! I was watching the first episode for the second time (because I love suffering) and I kinda had the feeling that the angels weren't there to kill the boys. That they had a lot of occasions to mojo knock out or obi-wan and then kill. Do you think it's just for the plot, angels not strong enough or it could be something else? Cheers ~

Aaah I thought I answered this this morning when I was watching the ep again and then remembered that I hadn’t just now when I went to my inbox for something else… Haaa I am a tired disaster, sorry about the post-day-of-travel-with-fatigue blogging.

My thought process was “oh right the angels are only incapacitating Sam in the fight like that anon I answered earlier” so I guess that is the answer…

The angels came back really strong and dangerous this season because they’re finally an enemy against the Winchesters again. It’s actually fairly uncommon for the human dudes to fight the angels - Cas mostly handles it himself, or they banish them. I think Dean has more angel kills than Sam but by and large the plot has kept the angels away from them, because no matter how de-powered they get, they are still meant to be a million times more than a match for Sam and Dean. Angels seem to be pretty weak in the battles we see them in, usually against forces much stronger than the average angel lackey, but I think we just haven’t seen them punching Sam or Dean for a while.

I think Miriam had her own agenda and personality, while the other 2 were much more just representing Heaven generically - the guy who hated Cas and the other with the weird business casual trousers/shoes with no socks (I am still baffled tbh) who thought he deserved better. Miriam was scouting them out to see what they knew about Jack but she had a deep personal grudge against Dean - I’d actually think she might be a Cas stan who resents that Dean has taken Cas away and caused so much damage in Heaven, but not the sort of Cas stan who’s super protective of him, just pissed at what Dean’s done and all the chaos that’s spiralled from it… the same accusation Hester made in 7x21.

Miriam would have killed Dean because she was pissed off, and she stabbed Jack so “no one could have him” rather than because it was her mission. Before that the other 2 angels subdued Sam and made Jack so woozy and sick with the angel radio they were just carrying him out, so I think they really just didn’t *care* about the Winchesters being there, confident they were strong enough to overwhelm them and get the job done, but without any orders to kill Sam or Dean on sight. The angel who was kicking Sam could have easily killed him, because they were obviously shown to be stronger than the guys, and Dean only overwhelmed Miriam by being good at fighting, not really because he was stronger than her, and after she said her bit she headbutted him and got free, because she was stronger than him - and she probably only didn’t kill him there because she wanted to get to Jack and deal with that because it probably was a priority…

*squints sleepily at this reply* I hope that’s everything, because I hallucinated answering this which means there may be more answer in the dreamscape :P

say you want to give a guy your number (like have them message you) but you dont actually want to give them your phone number and dont have snapchat. is there another acceptable social media for this? does instagram serve this function? dont laugh at me because i know nothing okay

Oh dang my friend I am so sorry for whatever I have done to give the impression that I know anything, ever, at all about how to handle romantic anything, because I know Zero Things

But on a serious note? Uhhh idk my dude!! I assume Facebook is out if a phone number is? I guess your goal is to find something that has a messaging feature, and as I don’t use Instagram, I don’t know much about it. I don’t really get the sense people use it for conversations, though. Hmm. What are the young, cool kids using these days? Email is probably weirdly formal, right? Is Kik still a thing? I don’t actually know how that one works either. I AM SO SORRY, I want to help so bad here but I don’t have an answer for you! Followers? Any ideas for how anon can talk to a boy without giving away their number?

Malfoys don’t get sick 🤒

“I am not sick. Malfoys do not get sick!”

Harry gave Draco a skeptical look as the blond blew his nose for the seventh time since he had entered the room five minutes ago.

“Right,” Harry said, clicking his tongue.

“I am not sick,” Draco growled. He turned his back to Harry and made his way to the sofa, plopping down on it.

“Draco, there is no shame in being sick.”

“I am not- not- Achoo!”

Harry handed Draco another tissue before sitting down next to him. He lifted his hand and gently put it on Draco’s forehead.

“Oh, you’re burning up.”

“I’m not,” Draco said, pushing Harry’s hand away. “Besides, I feel cold.”

Harry pinched the bridge of his nose.

“You’re obviously running a fever. Maybe I should call Hermione. I’m sure she could cure you of-”

“I don’t need her. I don’t need anything,” Draco interrupted him. “I am perfectly fi- fi- Achoo!”

Harry let out a sigh and shook his head.

“At least lie down and rest for a bit?”

Draco gave him a dark look that didn’t last for long.

“Well… I am a little tired.”

“Alright then,” Harry said, making room for Draco to lie down. He summoned two blankets from their bedroom and tucked his boyfriend in.

“There,” Harry said soothingly. “Sleep it off, okay?” He stroked Draco’s hair who nodded weakly before his eyelids fluttered shut.

After making sure Draco was fast asleep, Harry went into the kitchen to prepare something for Draco to eat when he woke up. He knew just what to do.

Two hours later, when Harry went back to the living room, a vase and several books were floating in mid-air, right above Draco’s head. Harry quickly set the tray of steaming porridge he was holding down on the table and got out his wand. He sent the vase and the books back to the shelf and kneeled down beside Draco.

“I think you’re magic is going a bit bonkers,” he murmured. Draco cracked open an eye and smiled dazedly at Harry.

“Hey,” he croaked.

“Hey.” Harry stroked his hair again and seated himself on the edge of the couch. “Are you hungry?”

“Ugh!” Draco weakly shook his head and scrunched up his nose.

“Come on, it’s Molly’s secret porridge recipe. Here.” Harry summoned the tray and placed it on his lap. “I’ll feed you.”

“I’m not letting you feed me porridge,” Draco said, his face twisting in disgust.

“Is it the porridge you’re opposed to or me feeding it to you?”

Draco didn’t answer but clutched the corners of the blankets tighter around him.

“Come on, you have to eat something. And you’re shivering so much, I think you will drop the spoon as soon as I hand it to you. Let me feed you.” Harry held out the spoon in front of Draco’s mouth with no sign of cooperation from his boyfriend. “Draco, come on. Just let me feed you. You know, it would be kind of cute, too.”

“Cute,” Draco repeated, a disgusted look on his face.

“Yeah. Now that I think about it, it’s nice to have someone I can take care of.”

Draco seemed to ponder this for a moment before hesitantly opening his mouth and accepting the spoonful of porridge.

“What else would that entail? You taking care of… me?”

Harry’s face split into a grin as he offered Draco more porridge.

“Well, I guess that would depend.”

“Depend on what?” Draco asked, slowly taking another bite.

“On the circumstances. For example, if you were sick, I’d definitely want to keep cooking for you. And after you finished eating we could go upstairs and I could hold you and warm you until you stopped shivering. We could take a hot bath together. I’d make you some tea, get your favourite biscuits and I could give you a massage if you feel like it. But since you’re not sick…” Harry peered at his boyfriend from under his lashes and held back a snicker.

“Well,” Draco began quietly. “Maybe… Maybe I am a little sick.”

“Sure, just a little,” Harry laughed, putting the porridge aside and gently pulled Draco into his arms.

A thought: Modern flinthamilton AU in which Alfred is still a homophobic douchebag but they went ‘fuck you’ and got married anyway.

anonymous asked:

You always seem to have all the answers. What do we do to stop Trump? I feel helpless. I know of the elections in November for Senate, Congress, etc. what can we do in the meantime?

I took this question really seriously, so I asked my parents to help me answer this. Here is what my dad said:

Here is what my mom said:

Here is what I say:

First of all, I am sorry for referring to you as “kid” to my folks. It was just a shorthand I used for them to understand in a simple way that I think you are someone younger than they are. They are professors/teachers, and are often tasked with communicating effectively with young people. (also, sorry if my dad misgendered you? I guess kid = boy in his head)

Next: Yes. To what my parents said. When I feel helpless I often turn to them because they are so blisteringly smart and compassionate, and if I seem strong and like I have all the answers, it’s because I come from an incredibly supportive family. I wanted to share that with you.

  1. Furthermore, staying informed in the time of “alternative facts” is an act of resistance. Knowing is half the battle. There’s an app called Countable that will keep you informed of the latest developments in your local government and issues you care about.
  2. Because our representatives are firmly planted in the last century, online activism doesn’t cut through the noise to them—but phone calls do. Here is a website called 5calls.org that helps you make those calls with a script, and is especially effective if you (like me) have social anxiety.
  3. Here is a great “Stop Trump” reading list that @batlordart compiled.
  4. Don’t focus on a mountainous goal like “stopping Trump” and instead expend your energy on things that will make you happier and healthier.
  5. Thriving is our first act of resistance.
  6. Don’t despair. I could vibrate with the conviction of how fiercely I believe it: we will get through this.

me to me: hey, where’s the au where Jack jumps into a taxi to escape crazy fans and Bitty’s already using the taxi

me to me: georgia, you write stuff. you can just… write that

me to me: hey, good point

The door opens and shuts again quickly, which is strange enough as the taxi is sitting in the middle lane at a light that’s just turned green. What is more strange though, is a man throws himself into the car at the same time.

Bitty would ask ‘what the hell’, but he’s currently cradling his nose in his hands, having suffered an elbow to the face as the stranger slid across the car seat without looking.

“Crisse. Fuck. Shit. I am so sorry.”

The man turns to him. Bitty’s eyes are watering and he blinks to try and clear them. He’s fairly certain the man in the taxi with him is Jack Zimmermann.

The taxi driver has either not noticed what has happened, or is used to strange occurrences in their taxi, and is still driving Bitty on toward his apartment.

“Are you alright?” The man who Bitty is now convinced is Jack Zimmermann-he’s got a line of stitches on his jaw from a rough check in a game Bitty watched two nights ago–asks worriedly, hands dancing around Bitty’s face like he wants to make sure but is afraid to touch.

Bitty pulls his hands away and looks down. No blood. He presses his fingertips gently to his nose. It’s tender, but not horribly so.

“I’m good.”

Jack sighs and slumps back into the seat. “Thank god.”

He shuts his eyes and leans his head against the backrest. Bitty watches him, speechless. What are you meant to say when one of your favourite athletes ambushes your taxi? There is no precedent for that.

Eventually, Jack opens his eyes and turns to Bitty. “I really am sorry. I wasn’t thinking when I got in here.”

“Jumped,” Bitty corrects.

“Pardon?”

“Oh, it’s just. It’s more like you jumped in here, you know.”

Jack rubs at the back of his neck as his eyes drop to Bitty’s nose. “Yeah, guess so.”

Bitty nods slowly at him, and waits for further explanation, which doesn’t seem forthcoming. It’s not exactly surprising, judging from what little Bitty knows of Jack’s character from post-game interviews and Falconers Face-offs. He’s never been as verbal as some of his teammates. Still, you would think this situation would warrant an explanation.

“Why did you?” Bitty eventually asks, too curious to leave it alone.

Jack’s eyes dart out the window, then land back on Bitty. “It’s, uh, a little embarrassing, truthfully.”

“Try me.”

“Alright. I was–No, I should start with,” Jack mumbles to himself, then clears his throat. “I play hockey, and I’m, well, I’m… known.”

Bitty finds it almost endearing how uncomfortable Jack looks saying it.

Bitty nods. “I knew that part.”

Jack raises his eyebrows. “Really? But you haven’t–I mean, you’re not reacting…” He stops himself with a huff. “I really don’t know a good way to say it.”

“Star-struck?” Bitty suggests.

“Eh,” Jack shrugs.

“I played in college,” Bitty tells him. “Lived in a frat house with hockey players for years. You’ve lost all aura of mystery and un-touchability to me, I’m afraid.”

Jack looks him over, and Bitty can guess what thoughts are going through his head. Thankfully, he refrains from saying anything. Bitty might have thrown him out the taxi if he did.

“I don’t mind. It’s… a nice change, truthfully.” Jack even smiles at Bitty as he says it. It’s small, sure, but it’s also an expression Bitty has never ever seen on his face. It feels nice to be shown something of who Jack really is. Bitty looks out the window before he starts reading into it and spins this random encounter into a fantasy. He’s surprised to see he’s only a few blocks from home. It’s felt like no time at all.

“I was running away from some of the, uh, ‘other’ kind of fans,” Jack tells Bitty.

Bitty swings his head back around. “Who says I’m a fan?” he teases with mock-offense.

“Oh.” Jack looks abashed. “I just assumed, because you knew who I was. That’s terrible.”

Bitty laughs. “No, you’re right. You’re a great player.”

Jack seems to wait a second to see if Bitty will go back on his word. When he doesn’t, Jack gives that same small smile again, and dips his head down and away. Every second he spends in Jack’s presence, Bitty feels like he’s learning more about him.

“I’m almost done with the taxi,” Bitty tells Jack as the driver pulls around the corner onto his street.

“Oh,” Jack says, looking at Bitty. If he didn’t know any better, Bitty would call the expression on his face disappointment.

“It’s been nice talking with you, Jack.”

“Yeah. You too, ah…”

“Eric.”

Jack holds out his hand, and Bitty takes it. Jack’s hand feels big around his own, and surprisingly cold. Bitty can’t help but try and memorise as much of the feel of it as he can. He drops Jack’s hand quickly when he catches on to what he’s doing though. He doesn’t want to seem creepy, or like those ‘other fans’ Jack mentioned earlier.

The driver pulls up to the curb where Bitty directs him. Bitty reaches into his pocket for his wallet, but is stopped as Jack grabs onto his wrist.

Bitty tilts his head at Jack.

“Let me pay,” Jack says. “It’s only fair.”

“It’s really alright,” Bitty refutes automatically, distracted by the feeling of Jack’s fingers on his arm.

“Please. I want to. You didn’t have to let me stay in here with you.”

Bitty opens his mouth to decline again, but Jack adds on, “Plus, you know I’m good for it.”

Bitty stares at Jack for a moment before nodding his head.

He gets out and shuts the door behind him. The taxi idles on the curb as he searches for the keys to get into the building. He feels eyes on him and turns around to see Jack watching him through the window. He gestures to Jack to drive on, but Jack shakes his head.

Bitty turns back to the door and bites his lip, feeling flustered at the consideration Jack’s showing him. His hand shakes a little as he tries to fit the key in the lock, but he manages to get the door open, and turns to wave goodbye to Jack before closing the door behind him.

He walks up the stairs to his apartment in a daze, thinking that tonight is a memory he’s going to carry with him forever. The night he shared a taxi with Jack Zimmermann.

Inside his apartment, Bitty holds his hand in front of his face. He curls his fingers down to his palm, closing his eyes and remembering what it felt having Jack’s hand in his.

He sighs out as he opens his eyes. He’s not going to spin a crazy future for him and Jack out of this one interaction. At least, not after tonight he won’t.

Leather Jackets - Bucky Barnes AU

Request: “Can you make a Bucky imagine in which he’s like the bad boy who is really cool and falls for y/n and is super sweet around her?” // I did it as a Greaser AU because I was listening to the Grease soundtrack while writing lol

Word Count: 1167 // My requests are still open!!

The Greasers didn’t like to be messed with. If you’re not at their level, you can’t speak to them. You go near them, you’re dead.

Pacing quickly down the sidewalk, you avoided the glare of the boys in the red Chevrolet parked across the street. A message alert on your phone made you stop, pulling your phone out of your pocket.

Steve: Just overheard that the Greasers are gonna be at the coffee shop. Be careful.

Mentally groaning in fear of anyone hearing you, you slipped into the door of the cafe, walking with your head down.

“Hi, uh, Miss? What would you like?” The barista grinned at you, as you looked up from your phone. “Sorry, can I just have a juice please?”

“What’s your name?” She asked, holding your cup in one hand and a sharpie in the other. “Y/N.” You pronounced, smiling back.

Soon enough, your name was called and you took your drink, walking out of the store.

You looked around before pushing the door open, seeing the Chevrolet had moved. Breathing a sigh of relief, you pushed the door open and began your walk home.

Going to grab your phone from your back pocket, you bumped into someone.

Feeling a hand on your back, you looked up, making direct eye contact with one of the leaders of the greaser gang, Bucky Barnes.

“I am so sorry, I really wasn’t concentrating. I should look where I’m going, sorr-” You mumbled, rambling away, “Hey, don’t worry about it. Y/N, is it?” He smiled warmly at you, “Uh, yeah, that’s me.”

“We have English together, right?” He asked, trying to making eye contact as you looked everywhere but his into his eyes.

“That we do,” you laughed nervously, “See you Monday, I guess.”

“See you Monday, Y/N.” He smiled, brushing past you as you walked back home, texting Steve about your ‘incident’.

Soon enough, Monday rolled around.

School always dragged along on a Monday. Whether it be the non existent enthusiasm from the students, or the bore of lessons from teachers paid less than they’re owed.

Grabbing your bag and heading out of the classroom, you avoided the glare of the same boys from the coffee shop stood outside your classroom.

You felt their eyes leave as you trailed outside to try and find your friends, Steve and Peggy.

Walking past the bleachers, you felt all eyes on you as hands gripped your shoulders.

“If it isn’t Little Miss Y/N.” You span around to be met with the eyes of one of Bucky’s gang, another member of the Greasers.

“H-hi?” You questioned, looking away from where he stared deeply at you, backed by two more Greasers; the rest sat on the bleachers.

“Y/N, Y/N, Y/N. May I ask why this pretty little mouth of yours was talking to Barnes outside the coffee shop last night?” You looked up, horrified that anyone had seen yours and Bucky’s conversation.

“I-I didn’t mean anything by it! I bumped into hi-” He pressed a finger over your lips, his minions trailing behind you, as he whistled for more of them to come over.

You were surrounded. You’d seen this happen before, and you prayed every night that they would never do it to you.

Grabbing your bag roughly off your shoulders, you gasped as they pulled your books out one by one, until they reached your sketchbook.

“Well what do we have here? A sketchbook! Let’s have a looky here shall we?” He smirked, picking up the black book from your feet.

Flipping through your doodles and practices, you prayed they wouldn’t find your illustration of the picture Bucky had posted recently.

But they did. Just your luck.

“And it gets better! How 'bout we show this to Buck when he gets here, hey? Is that what you want, Y/N? Attention? Well, sweetheart, that’s what you’re gonna get.”

Tears began to spill down your cheeks as he cascaded the sketchbook to the ground once again, the pencil drawing looking like a watercolour.

“Now, Y/N. How 'bouts we deal with you.” He spat, getting closer to your face. Grinning, he grabbed your hair and pulled your face up to meet his eyes.

Taking a harsh slap to the face, you looked into his eyes as he laughed, “Fuck. You.” you spat.

“What was that, Y/N? Say that again.” He looked shocked, but hid it. “I said fuck you.” He looked at you again, “You’re gonna regret that Y/N.”

Taking another hit, you saw the blood hit the concrete on the other side of the book.

“Hey!” A loud voice echoed from outside their circle, as the rest of the group scattered, you sank to the floor.

“What the fuck do you think you’re doin’?” Bucky asked the boy stood opposite you, as you let more tears flow. “You know what, I don’t wanna hear it. Back off.”

Bucky kneeled in front of you, smiling softly. “Y/N?”

“Y-yeah?” You held your nose in fear of it bleeding further.

“I’m so sorry the did that to you, I promise I would never have let them if I would’ve known. Are you alright?”

“Apart from nursing a headache and this nose bleed, I’ll be okay.” You smiled back up at him, his eyes glistening as he looked at you. “Shit, you need to get to the nurse.” He looked around you at the destruction of your bag, trying to pick up your scattered books.

“Did you draw this?” He asked, awe taking over his features. “Um, yes, I did. I’m sorry, it’s lame. I just saw the picture on my feed and I needed prac-”

“Y/N, babe, this is incredible.” He grinned from ear to ear, holding the book so delicately. “T-thank you, Bucky. It means a lot.” He slung your bag over his shoulder, offering you a hand as he led you to the nurses office.

“I’m still so sorry, Y/N. Can I please take you for coffee or something to make up for it?” He asked, brushing your hair behind your ear as you held tissue to your nose.

“I don’t drink coffee, but I’m definitely always down for pizza.” You laughed, Bucky joining you. “Well, pizza it is. Are you free tonight?”

- 6 months later -

Finishing the final sentence of your last-minute homework, you shoved the books into your bag as a knock at the door snapped you out of the world of your science work.

Opening the door with a smile, you saw Bucky, donned in his leather jacket and all black outfit.

“Mornin’ baby.” He smiled, pressing a kiss to your lips as you grinned into it. “Good morning, Bucky.”

“Did you sleep okay?” He asked, interlocking his fingers with yours. “I’d sleep better if my boyfriend wouldn’t keep messaging me every five minutes!”

“Well forgive me for caring about you!” He laughed, pressing a kiss to your temple.

“You know I love you really.” You nudged him slightly as he grinned. “I love you too, doll.”

Prompt #152

“How do you ‘accidentally’ become the leader of a creepy ghost army?!”

“You know, it’s a really long story.”

‘Hey, it’s me. Sorry we haven’t spoken in a while. I guess I don’t find it easy knowing what to say.’

‘No problem. Take as long as you need.’ He holds the phone, suddenly breathless, heart beating so loudly he is sure she can hear it.

Two hundred miles away she sighs and looks upwards at the pink sky to stem the tears that seem to have fought their way to the surface despite her struggle.

‘I’m sorry. I really am sorry. And I need you to know that I do love you, I really do. But I need to sort out myself before I go messing up your life again. Is…is that okay?’

Without even realising he exhales slowly, exhausted, and reaches for the glass bottle on his bedside.
