As I’ve mentioned before, there’s nothin’ wrong with shipping (or enjoying fandom in the way that you see fit). And if you’re enjoying stuff within the context of fandom, I’m not gonna come in and rain on your parade (see: breeding kink is not my thing, but if I find a story about it I’m not gonna flame it. I just hit ‘exit’).

That said: shippin’ certain scenarios and making legit predictions are two totally different things. We need to keep them separate, and once we exit fandom (i.e. the official movies) we need to understand that subtext is very, very important.
